The best restaurants serving Italian food in England

There was eleven of us we all ordered different items from the menu and all the food arrived hot and well presented and enjoyable the atmosphere was nice reasonable priced worth going again

Visited with my wife. Hadn’t booked but that wasn’t a problem. Seated straight away by very friendly staff. Pizzas were cooked to perfection and were really tasty. Would highly recommend and can’t wait to come back again. Only downside is they don’t sell fries, but having said that, the pizza was enough on its own.

Este era un encantador lugar de pizza del barrio que también servía cervezas artesanales en el barrio londinense de Walthamstow. Fue amable, a un precio razonable y acogedor para los clientes de todas las edades. Las pizzas eran deliciosas y las cervezas eran sin duda un paso más de las ofertas habituales en los pubs. Está convenientemente situado cerca de la calle. Estación de tren subterráneo de James Street - por lo que el acceso desde la estación principal de Liverpool Street en el centro de Londres es fácil para los viajeros que buscan una excursión a una de las zonas residenciales más altas y venideras de la capital británica.

Not enough staff and food appalling. My sister and I ordered Tuscan soup to start (which I had ordered before and liked) but it was totally inedible as it tasted sour as if it was off and we had to send it back, so just had bread that came with it. My main was spaghetti bolognaise which has very little sauce and had to ask for more. The dessert I had was chocolate cake with mascapone cream. The cake itself was heavy and there was only a teaspoon of mascapone cream served with it so again had to ask for more. So the starter, main and dessert were all disappointing. They also didn't have any mash which was meant to come with my sister's main.

1.after not having breakfast because I was excited to having our special anniversary lunch. So disappointed!!It was an awful veggie meal. Didn’t eat my bruschetta.Slice of bread with beef chopped tomatoes. Main meal worse. A truffle resotto. A few mushrooms and rice over cooked with that test of vegetables oil. Could not eat it awful.

Excellent prompt helpful service and drinks.

Only had coffee & cake but it was great & the staff very efficient & friendly.

Absolutely fantastic little restaurant in Crowthorne. This is a regular place we go for dinner since we discovered it. The food is incredible, absolutely delicious and is always as good. Never a disappointment. We love the lasagne and garlic bread, much better than Don Beni the other Italian in Crowthorne. The price is reasonable and the staff are very kind and courteous. Absolutely must try! Highly recommend

Adocchiato passeggiando durante il soggiorno a Londra decidiamo una sera di provare la pizza. Ottima scelta! Locale piccola, ma gradevole.Accoglienza cordiale da parte dei gestori, abbiamo gustato una buona pizza, ottimo impasto. Tiramisù fatto in casa delicato, ottimo. Personalmente ho apprezzato che si prediligono in questo locale i prodotti italiani, dalla pasta alla birra. Lo consiglio

Clearly very popular but despite being busy the staff found a table for our party of 4. Great coffee and a fabulous menu choice. The staff were very helpful, efficient and attentive. Would definitely recommend!

I used to visit this restaurant frequently prior to Covid lockdown. I’ve finally managed to come back again as I always enjoyed the food and the service. I’ve realised this was a big mistake! Poor slow service with only 3 tables that had clients. I was finally the only client but that didn’t make the service faster. I believe it’s under new management? The pizza has been watered down. No glimpse of tomato sauce on magherita pizza. I am really disappointed and I’ll be not coming back here again.

We've dined at Montebello many times since it opened and we love it so much that we happily make a 30 mile round trip to visit. There's always a warm welcome, the service is very good and the food is consistently delicious, the coffee is excellent, and the owners are a lovely, hardworking couple. Our favourite restaurant in Lincolnshire!

Small friendly favourite for fresh fish of the day cooked to perfection. Calamari and lasagna also delicious highlights along with the pizza.

Absolutely Divine Fresh and Attentive Staff 11/10 Exceeded all my Expectations. I travelled from HP3 just to dine here. 1000% Recommend

The food was very delicious! The spicy potatoes were crispy, and the chicken was cooked perfectly. The fresh salad made it even better. I really enjoyed it, and the prices are very reasonable
