We ordered 16 takeaway pizza's including gluten free and vegan. They went down great with the team! Very tasty gluten free, so much so that left overs were taken home. Would highly recommend if you are gluten free and/or vegan. (the non gluten free/vegan pizza's were great too!)

Being local I frequent this place a lot and the food is consistently very good, fresh and tastes great. The owners and staff are so welcoming and it’s great value for money. Definitely worth a visit you will not be disappointed. Recommend to book as very popular.

Someone kindly bought us vouchers for my birthday, so we tried out this place on a Saturday lunch time. The restaurant was pretty quiet. Food was absolutely delicious, big portions, sensible prices and great services. Would certainly recommend.

La Piazzetta has been our regular local Italian for years, always reliable and good food. However they have just introduced their Christmas menu which has elevated their food to another level. Their Pork Loin stuffed &wrapped in pancetta in a Madeira sauce is truly superb. On our recommendation four of us had the same and it was a resounding hit. Christine has also introduced some new Deserts, the Limocello Tiramasu was outstanding.

pasta is so good oh my days - big fat portion got stuffed to the brim but for an excellent price! was absolutely gobsmacked by the muscles and king prawns so juicy and delicious along with the pasta creating fireworks on my tongue. Couldn't even fit a pudding in my tummy! but... I got it anyway and it was absolutely marvellous wow! Will 100% be returning so amazing. Service was lovely, and the waiter was very nice and cheerful really made my evening! Amazing super experience! Thank you La Piazzetta !

We live close by, and have visited La Piazzetta many times, as well as enjoyed their take out food and pizza. Very busy and fun restaurant, with very good food and value. Pizza is delicious, and dining in is fun, as it's a small seating area, and cozy, like a family run Italian restaurant in Italy.

Arlindo and Christine make a great team offering wonderful freshly cooked food and a welcoming atmosphere. Famous for its takeaway pizzas and seafood specials. Great for couples and families with outdoor tables for summer dining.

We were glad to be back in this cosy, welcoming restaurant. The food was as good as we remembered. We started with warm goats cheese on a bed of salad with caramelised onion which was delicious, we each then had monkfish on a bed of vegetables and a distinctive sauce. The tiramasu that followed was to die for. All this was accompanied by an Australian Chardonnay. We finished off the meal with espressos and grappa and went home very happy.

First time here. Very noisy lot if Wentworth young men. But made very welcome. Had pizza and honestly say best ever had. Such a fun evening. Recommended by my daughter who lives nearby. We really enjoyed even though conversation impossible

We are order hamburger and pasta carbonora. I dont like fish and this is reason why i order it. We get hamburger that smells like fish, burger ban was old and dry and pomfrit was bad and cold ... wairter was bored and not polite.

Went into La Pizzicata for a meal. I had the Spaghetti and shellfish from the specials menu . It was so good in my opinion it would have been just as taste WITHOUT the shellfish. I was looked after by Allie and the new Waitress Abbie. Abbie has been a customer of La P for years so as a result the Good Lady knows what is expected from the our side of the counter. Message to management look after her, she is good. I will definitely be eating in La P

The takeaway meal we had from La Piazzetta was superb. I had linguine salmone which was delicious, generous portion and piping hot. Spaghetti Franco was excellent too and same for lasagne. Looking forward to a return match when next in Virginia Water.

After being recommend this restaurant, some friends and I visited La Piazetta last night. On arrival our table was very squashed in but we asked to move an were accommodated quickly. We waited along time to order drinks, the wine we wanted wasn't available but was offered a suitable alternative, unfortunately had to ask 3 times for a jug of water. We ordered and the menu had a good selection aswell as the specials. Unfortunately the waiter had made a mistake with one of the orders so one of our party had to eat after we had all finished. The food was OK, meat was chewy and red wine jus tasted and looked like balsamic glaze which was not pleasant. Risotto very overpowering with Garlic and ruined the sea bass. Desserts were ordered, again with a nice selection, sticky toffee pudding was DRY not at all sticky, with No sauce, not a sticky toffee pudding, more just a dry sponge cake, no apology offered after this wasnt eaten. The service left alot to be desired. When paying the waiting staff were rude and we heard them being very unkind, unprofessional and disrespectful about us even though we happily paid the service charge included! The atmosphere is not one of an authentic italian restaurant more a cafe or take away pizza place. We will not be returning as there is some really amazing Italian restaurants in the area.

Fabulous. Popped in for lunch with friends. Fabulous food, the starters especially, Smoked mozzarella with Parma ham and Calamari were stunning. Our pasta and pizza were also awesome. Huge portions and some very reasonable wines. Have to go back soon, brilliant😁

We go to La Piazetta regularly it is a great place. The food is delicious and the staff are always very accommodating if you have fussy eaters in your party.

Our Mothers Union group of eight enjoyed a fabulous Christmas lunch! The chicken dish with Parma ham was delicious. Those having the sea bass were also pleased. One lady had the lamb dish and enjoyed the dish with its rich gravy very much. The waitress was very patient and dealt with all our various requests. Lovely puddings too. The plum tart was the favourite. Everyone went home happy.

Great Italian food which was really enjoyed by all including two children. Friendly efficient service, no frills but great relaxed atmosphere of people enjoying the food.

I visited with two friends on Friday after having to follow up my booking request by phone as the contact via their website and email failed. It was my friend's 40th birthday and I felt confident with my restaurant choice as I'd had a lovely meal there a few years previously. Nice interior and size. The menu looked great but there was an incredibly noisy large table right in the middle and the people working there looked so stressed that it made me feel a little on edge too. Menu looked good, luckily we noticed the specials board ourselves but took a while to get round to taking our orders and then we were told that the steak special that I really wanted was out of stock which was a bit disappointing. King prawn tempura was cold, my friends' really enjoyed their main courses - my primavera with added chicken was okay but overly buttery in the sauce in the bottom of the dish. Prosecco was nice and reasonable value but not sure I'll be overly keen on returning sadly.

Great local Italian. Went here today on a very quiet Monday evening. Friendly staff, big portions. Sublime pomodoro (best outside Italy) and a great Tricolore pizza. Highly recommended.

I use La Piazzetta regularly. In August La P had a complete refurb. See photos attached. I went in there shortly after it opened and a customer said it looked like The Ivy. Unfortunately since the refurb the Waitress Emma has left who was absolutely fabulous. Some of the Waiters /Waitresses that I have not seen for years have come back. Which must say something about the place. The food is always delicious. I have always said that if you want to know a good restaurant follow the locals. 

Lovely little find - and very popular so I would highly recommend booking (I did a couple of hours before eating and was glad I did.) Small little place and owner very welcoming. Great value food, huge portions and friendly service.Would highly recommend and wished I lived closer for a return visit!

Great night. Place has just been refurbished and looks great. Service and food as good as ever. Good value for money , all the favourites are there. Portions are large!!

Had an impromptu visit to this restaurant after a day in London. Had 2 margarita pizzas which were delicious, thin crust, just the right ammount of topping and excellent value. Ate every mouthful and washed down with a bottle of Italian red which was a good price and decent to drink.

... and surprisingly competitively priced, especially given the surroundings. Quick service to boot!

Came here for an evening meal pleased to report food and restaurant did not disappoint. Glad I booked as restaurant was busy. A little expensive for what we had but expected for the area. Everyone enjoyed their meals.

Nice food but very expensive and service OK. Disappointed that there was no' Thank You' or 'goodbye' when we left! We spent 75 quid on a quick meal for 2 which was obviously not appreciated! Wont be going back there!

The atmosphere was bubblig and the service was impecable despite the very full restaurant. The meal was first class - we shared a most unusual starter of crabmeat with mango and avacado; we then moved on to a main course of monk fish wrapped in bacon on a bed of spinach etc. and surrounded by a delicious lightly spiced cream sauce. Somehow we found room for a dessert each - a raspberry creme brulee and a tirimisu and the whole meal washed down with a wonderful flinty white wine. We finished off in typical Italian style with espresso and grappa and went home very happy.

La Piazzetta is a small place with a big “buzz”. The food is Mediterranean in style and always really yummy. With friendly staff, fairly quick service and reasonable prices, this is a great place to eat with family or friends.

Eleven members of our Mother's Union group had a wonderful Christmas lunch. The chicken breast stuffed with tiger prawns and wrapped in Parma ham was chosen by nearly half of us and we thoroughly enjoyed it! I particularly enjoyed the mushroom sauce and excellent roast new potatoes that came with it. Those who had the cod and the pork choices were also very pleased with the freshness and taste of their dishes. I then had the cheesecake which was very filling and wonderfully creamy. Others enjoyed the creme brulee, the Brownies in chocolate sauce, and the apple pie with ice-cream. For dietary reasons two of our members needed the Christmas menu adapting and this was sorted out easily. Thank you for a memorable meal.

Good food average price. Busy and service not accurate despite a lot of rushing around by servers. Pizza really nice Pasta dishes ok Lasagne not that great. Oily and lacking meat.

We have lived in VW for many years and La Piazetta has always been our favorite local restaurant. i love Calzone pizza and this is one of the few restaurants I have been to that do it well. But usually I end up having one of the seafood pasta which are just divine...

I haven’t tried the other restaurant in the area but I’m not really suprised this place is number one for the restaurant in Virginia Water. The pizza was really good and the other food also looked good. The people are really nice but what I like the most is the place itself. It’s simple place but clean and relaxing. The decoration and design are not over the top. At the end, it should be all about the food.

We visited La Piazetta three nights ago. There was a good varied menu. Although quite noisy, this was simply because people seemed to be having a good time. Although the restaurant was really busy, we did not have to wait long before the waitress took our orders for drinks. The service was really friendly and we could watch chef prepare the various dishes as he was cooking at the back of the restaurant. Probably not the best place For quiet intimate dining, but food really good with generous helpings and was an enjoyable evening out.

Excellent food, really friendly staff and although they did not have the wine we requested they suggested an alternative that was slightly more expensive and gave it to us for the price of the on we had originally asked for.

Me, my brother and his girlfriend went to the restaurant on Saturday after searching on TripAdvisor as we visited Virginia Water Lake and wanted some good dinner. The restaurant was small, but cosy and staff was friendly from the beginning. They were happy to help with the recommendation for starters and the food was truly great. We had some salad with bacon, avocado and crutons and another one was baked mushrooms with a goat cheese and it was absolutely delicious. For mains we had selections of pasta and all three of them were amazing, there was nothing negative to say. The only thing was a pricey beer, but it was our choice. Staff seems to love their job, smiling and making you welcome. Portions were really generous and we were leaving satisfied. I will definitely come back when in Virginia Water Lake!

We visited La Piazzetta whilst on a family trip to Thorpe Park. We were staying on site at the hotel but decided to eat here, and it certainly was a good choice. The restaurant has simple decor but is very clean and it was great to be able to see your meal being cooked in front of you, which gives you great confidence in hygiene standards. The staff were pleasant and attentive and the wait for food was not long, despite the restaurant being fairly busy. Between the 4 of us, we had a choice of pizzas and pasta dishes and we all agreed that the food was excellent.

I love this little jewel we have in Virginia Water. The food is fresh and tasty. The service good with nothing too much trouble. It’s busy n buzzy. So reasonable too. Almost don’t want to let anyone know about it!

Consistently a great family run restaurant- we’ve visited many times and have never had a bad meal. Service is first class- they can’t do enough to ensure that you enjoy your evening at La Piazzetta! Would thoroughly recommend to anybody in the Virginia Water area!

We have just had a fabulous lunch with 13 members of our Mother's Union. We chose from the delicious Christmas Menu and everything was freshly prepared and so tasty.

this place has become a family favorite . The specials are always different and very tasty . The portions are always generous , and the staff are always accommodating. Altogether its a great place to go for good home cooked food .thoroughly recommemded .

Always a warm welcome, quick friendly service. Special of the day was tortellini, served chicken pieces in a beautiful tomato and cream sauce, just what we needed to keep out the nights chill. Wine was good too!!!

Rather than our usual evening meal there we sampled luncheon fare yesterday and, as always, were surprised and delighted by the variety and quality on offer. As it was lunch we decided to have two starters each instead of a main course. We both had Calamari, this was not the usual breaded or battered Calamari but simply cooked and presented on a bed of delicious salad. My husband had Goats Cheese on a bed of salad and very tasty - I went for the Moules Marinieres in a cream and garlic sauce and I really loved it. The house wines were certainly a cut above the average but we limited ourselves to a glass each - it was lunchtime!!! We will certainly repeat this experience.

Went here for dinner with a friend and the food was okay but would not say it was anything exceptional, service was okay but there was an issue which should have been resolved and was not despite it being mentioned to the waitress.. .

Sporadic visits since 2000 - never fails to deliver a real family restaurant feel. All dishes well prepared. Very friendly and welcoming.

Love this place. An independent, family owned, authentic Italian restaurant where nothing is too much trouble. Great staff, fresh produce, generous portions and a simple straight -forward decor with an open kitchen. Last but not least, reasonable prices and great value relative to the quality. You can't go wrong. The type of place that is increasingly rare in the world of bland chains with Bland food. The owner deserve our full support.

We had a fabulous meal here to celebrate a birthday. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. We really enjoyed the whole experience!

I'm often writing reviews of foreign hotels and restaurants but always forget about my local. We love Piazetta, lovely service and menu, always speedy service and truly delicious food, probably the best Bruschetta ever (make sure you share as pretty big).Excellent Malbec too!

Went for lunch - we both just had a bowl of pasta... both huge and packed full of flavour. The Scottish waitress in charge was a bundle of fizz and energy and seemed to know the diners as regulars - great stuff.

One of my local eateries, I have never been disappointed by the quality of food. Special mention goes to the Seafood Pizza and Milanese dishes. Very friendly staff and a very nice atmosphere.

We stoped here during a week day on our way back home from Ascot. Looking for something Italian we were positively surprised by the high quality of ingredients and the taste of a good portion of Spaghetti al Cartoccio. Being Italian we tend to refer to the traditional recipes and here we were absolutely thrilled by the fresh fish and well cooked pasta 'al dente'.Prices were more than reasonable, including the garlic and mozzarella pizza we shared as starter. Although baked in an electric oven the dough was perfect.The location of the restaurant is not ver appealing but us conveniently close to the train station. Inside the dining room is not huge but nicely decorated and the staff was very friendly. Week done to the chef!

I'm not easy to please but this definitely did it. Fantastically friendly service, excellent food - always nervous about veggie lasagne - but this was honestly the best I've ever had at a restaurant. Great atmosphere even though there was only one table when we arrived. By the time we left it was packed and it's easy to see why. By the way we're not all veggie, apparently the stuffed chicken and the spicy meat pizza were great too!! The garlic toast? Heavenly.

Now I'm not sure if there are any other places that sell pizza in Virginia Water, but if there is. You have to eat here. Now, I didn't exactly eat in the restaurant, I ordered the pizza and ate it at home. It was really good pizza, the only downside was they put too much oil in it. But still, very good pizza.

Ok simple rustic italian food. The setting is ok rather than fantastic and the place is small, clean and modern and is more suited to a lunch time meal rather than evening or a romantic meal.We went on a week night and did not book as were driving through and went on the spur of the moment.It was about 8.30 pm, and there was only one other table of customers. The tiled floor does not absorb any noise so it lacked a lot of atmosphere.We had the Carbonara pasta with chorizo and did not enjoy it as much as a normal carbonara.It was not Spanish chorizo as we know it, it was something else, rustic sausage. The pizza looked good but dough was too thick and stodgy I left loads of the crust and I noticed the other table did the same.The lasagna lacked flavour / bland with course mince, rustic rather than refined.All three of us did not finish our food, which is not the norm. So this Italian its not to our taste and we will not be returning

Booked in advance as we were going to Ascort. The waitress was very nice and served us promptly and with a smile .The good was very good freashly cooked .if in the area would visit again

We looked at the online menu in advance, and it was quite badly misformatted and garbled. This concerned us, but when we got there, the menu was legible - and there were specials on a blackboard. The service was prompt, in spite of the fact that all tables were occupied, and the food was excellent. Was surprised that being a Virginia Water establishment it did not accept Amex cards. Will be returning!

We come here regularly and the food is always great. The pizzas are good, the pasta is good, everything is good! It's a small restaurant with limited seating so you have to make reservations on a Fridays or weekends or you are not likely to get a table.

This small restaurant is an excellent, family run venue. It is open for lunch and dinner and has a cosy, intimate atmosphere. The menu is typically Italian and dishes can be 'tweaked' to suit individual requirements. There is also a varied daily specials menu. The staff are welcoming, friendly and non-obtrusive. They also have a take-away menu and make great Pizza!

Our latest visit to this typically family oriented Italian Restaurant was a huge success. For once we decided not to try the Specials Board and chose from the A La Carte Menu and were not disappointed in our choice. Imaginative flavoursome cooking from Christine and her crew plus impeccable service from Arlindo and his team made the evening a delight. We both started with Stuffed Mushrooms and followed this with Seafood in a delicious Tomato Sauce washed down with a modestly priced bottle of white wine.

A great Italian restaurant positioned in a fabulous location. It is not snobby in anyway. Relaxed dining, a specials menu offered daily which offers a menu to suit every taste! This little restaurant is a family business and has very friendly staff and will adjust your order to taste. The tiramisu is homemade and last time I had to take half home . After this review I think I should be on commission lol. But, I can only give credit when it's deserved. People are very quickly to complain but, I think they deserve to be praised Well Done - La Piazzetta keep up the good work!

Well run restaurant and a great family management team. The owners are hands-on and ensure standards are met. The food is really good, whether from the menu or from the specials board. Great Rustica Bread, great Pasta dishes, great Veal Milanese. Happy to accommodate minor changes to the menu and aim to please.

My husband and his family have been coming to this restaurant for 22 years and it keeps getting better! This is definitely the best Italian restaurant I have ever been to. The food is so tasty and never disappoints. There are loads of great options on the menu to suit everyone and amazing specials on offer. You always receive great service in this family owned restaurant and are made to feel very relaxed and comfortable. A little gem in Virginia Water.

Excellent pizza, fresh ingredients, awesome grilled goat cheese. I loved every bite of the food. We had a bottle of red wine that was very good as well as a very sweet smiley and helpful staff.

I have eaten here on a number of times, it is always good. This time I had breaded veal with spaghetti, it was very good and the house wine is quite acceptable.

Nice casual Italian restaurant(I 'd categorise this as trattoria) that seems to acquire a lot of local regulars.Today's special menus on the chalk board are particularly recommendable.We had cod wrapped with Parma ham and sliced veal kidney + bacon with wine sauce for main, both were good. We didn't have pizza this time but their pizza is quite good too. This trattoria doesn't have so much of "wow" factor but if you want to enjoy simple and honest Italian food with a relaxed atmosphere, it's a good one. No wonder locals love this eatery.

Have eaten in here many times over the years and have never been disappointed. It struck me that I'd never used their takeaway service so thought it was worth a punt. Takeaway Menu is only slightly limited compared with their table menu but just as delicious! It's worth booking if you want to eat in at normal busy times as it's quite a small restaurant but well worth a visit if you haven't been. Family run, recently redecorated and refitted, friendly and efficient service.

Good simple italian food and particularly good desserts. We liked the pasta in chorizo and the house salad. The setting is ok rather than fantastic and the place is small so not a place for a romantic meal but good for a clean simple meal with good food.

Beautiful Italian food, always freshly prepared with the best ingredients. It is so nice to be in a no-frills setting with an open kitchen where the quality of food and friendly atmosphere takes priority. We go back time and time again and never get bored of the menu. If you want to make a change to your dish, the staff are always accommodating which is a sign of an excellent chef. The owner getting involved with the cooking is also a good sign ! There are always specials on the board if you fancy a change from your favourite. Local restaurants like this should get our full support. It is so refreshing to get away from the chains or premises where the first priority is to separate the customer from their wallet !

Simple - If you want good food then eat here. Never failed to serve excellent food with a friendly smile. OK so the restaurant is small and fairly basic but you will always enjoy the food. The specials are often excellent and they make a mean dessert.

This place has a good local reputation and didn't disappoint. Quite a varied menu. I'd say best for a casual event.

I called in on an impulse. Food was well presented and served quickly. The quality was very good and a glass of house wine was very agreeable.

Another super evening at La Piazzetta - it must really be one of the best restaurants the area. As usual we chose the specials - cabbage leaves stuffed with meat and in a delicious creamy sauce followed by Tilapia (a fish previously unknown to us but really delicious) in a tomato sauce with fresh spinach and little roast potatoes - all washed down with Orlindo's recommendation of an Australian white - no pudding, no room - but followed by espressos and inevitably grappa.

The calamari starter was a real surprise. The risotto of the day was delicious, although my partner thought the portion was a little large and the pizza I had was very nice indeed. My only negative comments would be that the soft drinks were from a bottle (2L) and the pizza crust was a bit too crispy.

It's tiny. Nothing flashy at all in this flashy village! But the pizzas are wonderful. Bargain bill. Kids love it too.
