Caspari in Runnymede

Really enjoyed our meal here. Service was friendly and fast. We had olives and water placed on the table as soon as we sat down. Nice chilled out vibe and not too busy for a Sunday evening. Calamari starter was great, cooked perfectly. Pizza was decent too.

Myself and boyfriend had the pleasure of dining at Caspari Italian Restaurant in Egham, and I must say that it was an incredible experience The restaurant has a warm and inviting family feel, and it is well designed, creating a cosy and intimate ambiance. The food, I cannot praise the chef enough for the fantastic dishes he provided. The meet were cooked to perfection, delicious and each bite was a true delight for the taste buds. Staff including the owner were incredibly. kind, polite, friendly and attentive service ensure that my dining experiences was exceptional. The outdoor seating are provided relaxing, beautiful, peaceful environment, perfect for smoking your cigaret. Whether you're craving tasty food, and other Italian traditional food, cozy atmosphere with your family or friends, Caspari Italian restaurant is the perfect choice. I strongly recommend.

Amazing ambience. Just feels like sitting at home for a home cooked meal. The taste of the food was amazing. Clearly freshly prepared. We had cannelloni with shredded beef and it was properly beefy. The vegetarian Mediterranean linguini was sooo tasty. The whitebait was crisp. The penne with chicken and mushrooms was intense.

Decent Italian food, we came from the street without a reservation, but the waiters found us a table for 4 people, which was nice, but then they forgot about juice for our daughter... The squid was good, but not carefully peeled... but the pasta was really delicious!! Very good ravioli and the pistachio dessert is equally good, but the banoffie is nothing special. The pizza and wine are also good. Generally, a good impression, but the cuisine and service are not as sophisticated as they should be (show knowledge about the dishes served, their origin, etc.) if you include a fee for service.

What a great restaurant this is, our first time here but will definitely be returning. Food excellent, service excellent and beautiful ambience.

We came for dinner on Valentine’s Day and it did not disappoint! We come here fairly regularly and very much enjoy the good food and great, friendly service. Today, we were greeted with a red carpet and ropes outside. Upon entry were beautiful rose petals scattered across the floor, with a red rose and valentine balloon on every table. Even the windows had big red hearts in! You could tell the team were keen to make your visit truly magical from just the decoration alone. As always, the staff were very attentive to any needs, with a friendly and positive rapport. It was busy, but that did not stop us getting our food in good time. We had three courses, which took us just over an hour and a half. The food was packed with flavour, and really brought to life Italian cuisine. The selection of dishes is plentiful, with something for everyone. There are lots of drinks to choose from, with some vibrant and delicious cocktails! If you don’t know the area well, on the road before the restaurant, there is a spacious car park, which is free from 6pm. The venue itself is well lit, with both indoor and outdoor seating (outdoor is perfect in the summer). There are around 20 tables - some of which can be combined to make bigger tables, and lots of beautiful decor, adding to the ambience of the restaurant. There is a stunning flower wall near the back of the restaurant for larger parties. At the end of our visit, I was given a rose to take home with me, which I thought was a lovely romantic gesture. I also love that you get a chocolate mint at the end of the visit - incase you have indulged in too much garlic or fish I imagine! Thank you, once again, to Caspari for a perfect meal.

The service at this restaurant is phenomenal, the waiters and waitresses are connected to the customers and very much care about the customers, (one of the waiters played a subtle wingman role in my evening). The food is outstanding and honestly an above satisfactory experience.

Last minute date night with my wife whilst visiting the area and we found this place on Trip Advisor. So glad we did, excellent food and very friendly staff.

Fantastic, small, local Italian restaurant. Pizzas and pasta both very much enjoyed by all in our party of 8 (kids and adults), and the puddings were delicious too. Particularly recommend the tartufo pistacchio! Will definitely come again. Mille grazie!

My colleague and I needed a nice place to eat ahead of an event at RHU. We were hunting around for parking when we stumbled across this amazing place tucked away. It looked so inviting and at 5.10 on a dark autumnal evening it was almost empty so we went inside. I am vegan which is always a pain but I went for the pasta arrabiata and it was to die for - absolutely amazing in every way possible (and I am a very hard to please person). My colleague had a fabulous pizza. The staff were amazing and did everything they could to make it such a great experience. The atmosphere in there felt lovely and such great decor. I wish it wasn't so far away from where I live but I might take a trip back there in the not to distant future as it blew me away. 6 out of 5 stars for me! :)

Food is so delicious. We went there for a meal with hubby and child and friends with another child Then another family joined us just for drinks. The staff was so amazing and polite. The service is a definite 5-star

We had booked the Chertsey branch and ended up in their Engelfield Green branch the manager welcomed us made space for 11 of us. The hospitality given by him was outstanding and really made our visit memorable. The food across the menus was outstanding and had a homely feel to it and tasted very authentic . Would highly recommend the Resturant.

Absolutely disgusted with this abundance of a meal. Been twice,food was good the first time. However both times they had scribbled out that tips aren't included and added their own tip on both times which I found appauling, I usually tip but the fact it was just added on is not on. The crab was tinned and bland and the lamb was overcooked and dry. Won't be going back.

The most amazing Italian pasta dishes I have ever eaten! We go to Caspari in Egham every other month and we're never disappointed. Even my 5 year old niece loves food there and she's a very picky eater. Staff is friendly and always accommodating, even if we don't have a booking. I highly recommend this place.

This restaurant is amazing. Nothing but praise. The staff are always wonderful and accommodating and the service is great. The food here is phenomenal and I have never been disappointed. The prices can be a bit on the high side however you get what you pay. This restaurant does not cut corners. I would definitely recommend this location to others. Five stars for great service, 5 stars for a beautiful interior and dining atmosphere, and 5 stars for the quality of the food served. Keep up the great work! Will be visiting again.

Freshly Cooked pizza authentic Italian style,its worth the wait hot and very tasty. The restaurant was quite empty when we ate but 2.15pm ish but the pizza was still great.

Great atmosphere and plenty of parking around the side.

We went for a sunday evening dinner with 3 tired children after a day out. The service was outstanding with very caring and helpful front of house staff. They were kind and very thoughtful. Food was quick to arrive and utterly delicious - kids had yummy pizzas with garlic bread. Adults had pasta, highly recommend the chef special sea food dish. Outstanding.

We had a really fine lunch for 2 at this small and very neat Italian restaurant near Runnymede. The two plates of pasta look identical -- penne arrabiata and penne Amatriciana -- but they were different enough, and both delicious. Lots of smoky bacon in the Amatriciana. A little more heat in the arrabiata. The small ensalada misto was also excellent -- nice-sized bowl of very fresh lettuce and tomatoes. Good house-made Italian dressing. Nice batch of black and green olives on the table as a starter on the house. Plenty of room for our Yellow Lab, Rosie, to stretch out and nap as we ate. Wonderful attentive service. Really clean inside and out. All in all we feel we made a great discovery. Caspari is a great place to stop before or after a day out walking Runnymede, the Air Force Memorial and the JFK Memorial. We'd be back if we were in the area again.

Amazing food. The review below is unacceptable. Food is totally worth it.

Horrendous. The manager and waiter were extremely rude and unprofessional, I am disgraced. Not only did they add an extra service charge (meant for parties over 6 people yet we were only 4) each time but they humiliated my husband in front of the entire restaurant. They interrupted our dinner with aggressive comments and personal questions and never once apologised. Never again!!! They also accused us of not following the dress code yet many others were wearing the same (trainers etc.) Food not even close to worth it.

Had a table booked at Caspari’s following moving family into the area. Good welcome on a busy Wednesday evening. Drinks order taken and delivered quickly. Main courses all very good including pizza Quattro staggioni , Siccilina risotto, chicken pasta, and two further pizzas. Desserts were also good including tiramisu, cheesecake and chocolate fudge cake although that was a little dry on the edges. Overall though, very good, we will return soon. Service also very friendly and good value for money.

Clearly popular with University students and locals alike, this is a pleasant restaurant with excellent service. I arrived at 840 on a Wednesday evening (not pre-booked) and was followed by 7 or 8 diners, up to about 9pm. The Bruschetta was excellent, followed by the chicken dish from their specials menu. The cream & mushroom sauce was good enough to eat by itself, but the chicken was special. Would definitely return if I was in the area.

Our group of four enjoyed an excellent meal at Caspari's. Their pasta dishes were excellent. Full of flavour and the freshly made pasta was cooked perfectly. You can tell a good pasta dish by the way the pasta and sauce sticks together. The deserts were wonderful. This was the 2nd time I visited in a week and I can vouch for their consistency. The restaurant has a good ambience and the staff are attentative and helpful. The meal was good value especially so when compared with restaurants with similar menus and prices. Great meals. Look no further.

After a long day at legoland we came across this restaurant today. We didn’t hold out much hope of getting in but the owner found us a space and made us feel very welcome. The service was incredible Rahil was an absolute delight. The food came out quickly and I have to say was delicious, to the point I would say it’s the best Italian we have ever had. It was hot, fresh and generous. The only problem was that we couldn’t say no to desert!! If you are thinking about coming here I would recommend in a heartbeat, we live on the Kent coast and will be looking for any excuse to come back! Thank you guys!!!

My husband, me and our daughter visited on 27th March. We received a very warm welcome despite not having booked ahead. We were served promptly and asked about drinks. We ordered starters which were served quickly and which were hot and very tasty. I had the gamberoni with lemon and garlic and white wine sauce served with fresh bread...it was delicious! For mains I had marinara risotto, husband had seafood spagetti (kindly swapped in place of linguine) and daughter had veg pizza. So much varied seafood and absolutely lovely!. The tirimisu was so light and beautiful. I definately recommend you pay this restaurant a visit.

Really nice food - would personally recommend the amatriciana. They are really good with allergies and have gluten free pasta. Also everything is so clean!!

Good food, but service was not perfect. Staff keep mentioning: "you have not much time left, soon next customers are coming". A bit bizarre and unpleasant.

This restaurant was recommended. ( someone at Royal Holloway) Polite reservation over the Phone Pleasant location. Friendly gentleman Waiter. Female staff was quite stiff ( cant be bothered attitude) shoved a specials board on table with no explanation (!) And olives - The gentleman gave us water ( thankyou) Wine was lovely! But no one came to top us up - we had to do it ( not being a diva) but sometimes bar staff check on you and top your glass - there was literally 6 people in the restaurant and we were only drinking wine. Starters Crispy prawns - we enjoyed apart from dead salad as compliment bruschetta was poor - base was nice bit topping was literally fat tomato pieces Mains I asked for chilli on my salami pizza It was very bland 5/10 I was given a jar of schwartz chilli flakes n oil Desert: I had sticky toffee pudding - we heard the microwave beep in they took out n stick on over table!. When the bill came .. was shocked i had to pay for chilli that I didn’t see. They did take off bill but thought was cheeky !

The restaurant has a very nice interior but the food is very average. Chewy calamari, the pizzas are good,the pasta dish was very bland. The desserts are just shop bought and not worth the calories! Overall poor value for money and we wouldn't recommend.

We went as a group of 7 for my sons birthday, this was out first visit and definitely won’t be out last. The restaurant gives the feeling that it is family run and for a Monday night every table was taken which in this climate is surprising, this therefore to shows that the food is good. The service was friendly and accommodating for my husband who is ill, they were happy to serve him a starter as his meal without any fuss.

Discovered this restaurant on google and tried it out. The staff are super friendly and inviting and the food is absolutely delicious. I went back for my birthday with family, about 15 of us and they were brilliant and everyone was wowed by the quality of the food, the atmospheric of the restaurant and the attention of the staff. So fsr we've tried the mushroom starter, the calamari, the seafood pasta (phenomenal dish) and a few other pasta dishes which have not disappointed. Would highly recommend and is now a family staple.

Our first visit to Caspari this evening and we were not disappointed. Friendly staff, nothing was to much trouble. Our meals were very nice and tasty and we will definitely return in the near future. We would recommend.

My wife and I enjoyed an exquisite meal at Caspari with each of our three courses an absolute delight. The quality is on a par with the finest of London West End restaurants and yet half West End prices. Highly recommended

Food was absolutely amazing, had the best vegan porcini risotto ever! And a huge portion I couldn't finish. Accessibility was decent with the wheelchair, though I'd say the service was just OK.

I absolutely adore this restaurant. The food is sublime, the atmosphere is perfect, the service is thorough. There is an extensive menu, with options to please people of all dietary requirements. I think the pizzas are fantastic. If visiting on a Friday/Saturday, I would book in advance.

The worst service I have EVER experienced. The staff we're so rude. Everything was a problem to them from the get-go. Lots of eye rolling (we didn't request alot) and rushing for our orders. Never coming back again and certainly not recommending this restaurant to anyone I know.

Bank Holiday Monday, managed to get a table for two as a walk in. What a fantastic find. Definitely returning, even if its a couple of miles off my normal route. The waiter was fantastic, attentive. And the food was fresh, but most importantly it was delicious.

Went on a Saturday lunchtime after visiting Magna Carta site at Runnymede Quite a few people in, but not too busy. Staff were friendly, service was excellent. Had the risotto which was top notch. Good value and decent portions.

A great find in Englefield Green. The food is so delicious, fresh and hot. Staff are attentive and friendly. We will definitely visit again.
