Italian Concept Restaurant in Runnymede

Food is very yummy 😋 I had lamb with carrots and mash - my favourite, my bf had steak which was cooked perfectly 👌🏼 and the chips were delicious - already salted too. Next time I would love to try the steak! The only thing that let it down was our waitress was a bit loud and over powering, I was there with my family and she would shout when approaching the table which made my dad jump as he wears hearing aids. I was also told she snatched the spoons out my dads hands which he didn't like - not sure if she was just joking around but she didn't impress my dad or nan. When it came to the bill, we as a family never pay the service charge but we tip instead, we made this clear when paying for the bill that we haven't paid the service charge but the waitress came back saying there was still an amount to pay which we then said yes that must be the service charge - she acted offended and then left. That was a bit awkward but other than that the service was absolutely fine, we was never left sitting around waiting for food or drinks it ran so smoothly and the staff there were very attentive. The atmosphere is very nice and calm, no rushing around, I would definitely recommend coming here for special occasion meals.

Pizza ingredients ok, taste ok, dough slightly chewy. Nothing special. Good mixed fried food.

I had the pleasure of dining at this fantastic Italian restaurant and I must say it was an incredible experience! The pizza was simply amazing. Perfectly cooked with a delicious, authentic flavour that transported me straight to Italy. The crust was crispy, the toppings were fresh and every bite was a delight. What really made the experience even better was the friendly and welcoming service. The staff were attentive and made sure we felt right at home. It’s rare to find such great food and equally great service in one place. Highly recommended!

We came here months ago and ate really good pizza and pasta with clams. We returned this evening for the spaghetti allo scoglio and left us disappointed. Not very tasty fish, linguine with a strange texture and the sauce with the pasta didn't hit the mark. Very liquid, with onions that had nothing to do with it. Something has changed, either management or chef. I don't know about the pizza, but the pasta is not worth it.

we arrived shortly after midday as a group of 3 adults and 3 children and ordered 6 pizzas with some simple toppings and not a complicated order. as we were the first people on the terrace and the restaurant only opened at noon I was expecting reasonably fast service however the children's pizzas eventually came after about 30-35 mins and we waited probably 15-20 minutes longe for the adult's pizzas. my pizza when it arrived was only warm on a cold plate, undercooked and the base soggy and disappointing after such a long wait. the serving staff were friendly but overall I felt the service where we all had wanted to eat together was below par and certainly my food was poor. also somewhat annoying was an error on our bill not recognising part of our order was from the children's menu and an automatic addition of a 10% service charge. a shame because a convenient place to meet, nice outdoor area and plenty of parking.

One of the best pastas I’ve ever had! The young waiter served us really well even though the restaurant was quite busy. Their portions were huge, we could order 2-3 starters for 4 people to share

Nice place to do pizza with family

We had a fantastic, relaxed lunch here, enjoying some really wonderful, thoughtfully prepared dishes. We thoroughly recommend the delicious food and relaxed, yet attentive service.

We really enjoyed our visit. The team looked after us well and were very cheerful. The food was spot on as well.

Food was absolutely amazing. I’m used to Italian restaurants in my own country (Netherlands) but this one was just simply amazing. It’s super cosy as soon as you step inside and the smell is great itself too. It feels like walking into a kitchen from a wonderful family, definitely feels like home. Everyone is so helpful and you can literally ask for anything and they’ll help you with it. It’s unfortunate I don’t have a restaurant like this with the same pizza’s over here. However if I am able to come back to this place, I definitely will. It’s such an experience itself!

Sadly tonight's visit was not great ! Service and atmosphere was poor the wine not good my order was messed up and just wasn't the best evening - won't be going back sadly

Nice food and good service. People are welcoming. Pizza dough very good, real traditional napolitan style. Also some choice in the menu like Fegatini alla Veneziana, never seen before in UK italian restourant but from the italian traditional cousine, delicious.

I couldn’t believe I forgot taking photos. It’s by far the best seafood linguine that I had in UK and in reasonable price. Very authentic Italian cuisine. Love it! Service is great. If you want to sit outside, please make reservations especially in summer time.

The restaurant was nice, music was loud when we arrived but it was turned down to a suitable level when we were seated, no Italian music while we were there. No need to dress up it's not that type of place, the food took some time to arrive, I had pizza, it was cooked in fact the dough was a little burnt, but mine was cold and very soggy in the middle, not the best pizza in the world, I have had better elsewhere. If asked would I return the answer would be no, it is very expensive and not worth the money. Sorry it's only my opinion others may have a different one.

The place is brilliant. Food is really nice. The staff cares for what you need. All the food is freshly made. This place is a great place to have lunch or dinner.

Amazing restaurant. The food is delicious, and service is friendly and personal. The owner (?) couldn't be nicer or more attentive. In no particular order I'd heartily recommend the pizza (you can taste the oven bake in the crust), calves liver, steak, and the fish soup (my favourite) is exceptional. Great deserts too. Just try the place, you'll have a new favourite restaurant.

Lovely authentic Italian place that we stumbled across purely by chance, and I'm glad we did. My lasagne was beautifully made, just the right consistency. Pizza was crisp and tasty, homemade on site. My wife even enjoyed her off-menu gluten-free penne arabiata, and that doesn't happen very often.

Stumbled on this restaurant as we were staying at a hotel nearby and went for a walk. Pizzas are huge and tasty! Wood fire, huge menu choice. Pastas are homemade. 7 of of and all enjoyed. Got quite busy! Car park, yes. Veggie options, yes.

The tiramisu is tiny presentation In a coffee percolator looks cute but you only get two mouthfuls complete rip off apparently this has already been reported to the owners you only have the top full and. Big metal piece in the middle aswell

We've been here a few times but not for a while. Although the restaurant was quite quiet, it still had a good atmosphere. The food was good: we had peppers, garlic bread and olives to start and the truffle and ham pasta, a buffalo mozzarella pizza and a special request linguine arrabiata. The service was impeccable and we liked the homely informality.

Had 22 people for birthday celebrations, very smooth day great food, great service, highly recommend.

What a fantastic place. We live not far up the road but had never been in as I am vegan am we could see no options for me. I emailed and asked if there was anything and the reply I received was absolutely brilliant. They could not have been more accommodating. I feel in home, the food is very nice!, lwith that great Nonna’s touch. We lived not too far from Italian Concept, and myself and family can tell you is just The Best Pizza from many miles away!!, the Wood oven !, the Dough is perfect, ingredients!! Are all Perfecto Taste!! The Whole Italian Concept is too nice!!! We had done all, done in, take out and Repeat!! Is a must . Also Staff is so friendly, and responsive, anything you need are there for you, very kind. Is like feeling home .

On another day I might have overlooked the poor service, but after hoping to be lifted by a nice lunch, I was left with the feeling this place is just pretending to be an Italian restaurant.

Nice and pleasant restaurant. Service was excellent. Menu was difficult to read because of fonts and colours used. We had to use a torch!!! Please be aware that some of the dishes were marked as vegetarian, although the ingredients were not

We love coming back to this place again and again. A piece of Italy near Windsor. Absolutely fantastic food, real pizza and the hospitality. Carmine always makes us feel so welcomed, his hospitality always brightens up our mood. The warmest atmosphere and the most delicious food.

Very good food ok price for what I ordered ! One thing I don’t understand … people here that left one star complained that the prices are high … For you guys to eat and leave a one star review saying how good was the food and place but complain about price .. you must be really really cheap … it’s a poor mentality. If you eat and you don’t like the food is one thing .. but to be sad because you paid a bit more you must be really sad person. My pizza was big and really tasty !

Best authentic Italian restaurant period.

"Surprisingly" only because I have driven past this restaurant many times without noting it and, from the outside, you may not appeciate how good it is. The restaurant is not high-end in decor but a very individual and rustic place. The food is excellent, and a bottle of their lowest priced wine was very good indeed. The restaurant kindly facilitated a particular time for our booking, and the staff were great (especially our waitress) - genuinely friendly and with a good sense of humour, and very attentive though not at all intrusive. Great coffee too! The only small issue I had was that the background music (not all of which was to my taste but each to their own) was at times a little loud. I definitely recommend this restaurant for good casual dining and we have already decided to come here again for our next meet-up.

Fantastic little place, buzzing atmosphere, and everyone greeted like an old friend. Fab pizza and amazing pasta, couldn't recommend highly enough.

This restaurant is one that keeps giving, it's a favourite of my family friend's and everytime I go there with them, the service , atmosphere and food is always amazing. The waitress yesterday ( as usual) went far and beyond to satisfy us and even my little one. Great outdoor seating and children can safely play in their garden with adult supervision.

Such an unexpected find. My seabass was beautifully cooked and my fellow diners were delighted with their pizzas. This place clearly has a loyal following and was packed on a Thursday evening. Super friendly staff and a really lovely atmosphere.

The atmosphere was fine as was the service and even the presentation of the food was lovely. Having sad that, the prices were high £11 -£15 for a starter £14-30 for a main and £3.80 for a cola plus the 12% service charge adds up very fast. Now if it be high quality food I’d be fine but some of the starters, the Mozzarella was still frozen on the inside, the calamari was chewy instead of soft and the risotto was tasteless. £20 for tasteless risotto is a crime!!! The pizzas looked okay but didn’t have that.

Best pizza in the Berkshire area and not only, you have to try their spaghetti and their fish selection.

Outstanding Even though it was very busy they manage to accommodate us. The food was lush and the service outstanding. We couldn’t ask for anything better. lovely little oasis where my little girl ran around the garden with a half dozen other children of families at the venue. the pizza was perfect. the ribeye was cooked to perfection. the peppercorn sauce was amazing I had to tell the chef it was outstanding.

This is the place we go when we have a special family occasion. Love it. The Italian concept pasta dish is amazing, pizzas and steak second to none. Years of happiness here , more to come.

7 of us (my family) ate here last week. A lovely cozy little place. Tried a few beers I hadn’t before which were lovely. Had a bottle of Rose which was gorgeous. Garlic bread starters were spot on. The mains looked superb, the sea food linguine was exceptional. except 2 pasta dishes came out nearly 20mins after the first 5 did which was disappointing. Hence the mark… Would I go back ??,…. yes defo as enjoyed the experience.

After two perfect occasions visiting, food & service being excellent, the third trip was very disappointing. The issues we faced were endless, from starters to share coming separately, to my son and i delivered our pasta dishes without offer of black pepper or parmasean, and no side salad until at the end of my pasta! We had to ask several times for my husband's pizza and it did not arrive until my son and i had finished our mains. My husband then refused it out of principle. Not acceptable, we complained and all we got was a free coffee! The waitress then added insult to injury and said we wont charge you for the pizza! Well hello we didnt have it so i should hope not! Its a shame as its a lovely vibe and pleasant atmosphere, they just need some competent staff!

High quality Italian food situated near the river thames. It's an open location, not particularly big, but quite nice. Food has a wide range of typical Italian meals and serves very good pizza. I would advise on trying the specialties from the menu, such as the filled-crust pizza, which gives a flavour of Italy to any person coming there. A pleasant experience.
