Knowing Plenty well we were ready for a stroll & slap-up lunch. We both had a delicious roasted onion & apple tart with the signature plenty salads. I had a plum toddy & we both had delicious dark woods lattes & I had a gf choc brownie. Perfect - time for a stroll to walk it off now!

This restaurant was popular, but, being quite small, has CLOSED at this spot, but HAS MOVED to FORE STREET about 300 yards to the East, near the East Okement River, and its name has changed to " The Allotment ", as it uses food all supplied locally. I highly recommend it for a smiley welcome & good wholesome food. Now sells jams & preserves.

Looking to join a local tennis club so hired a court for an hour one afternoon on a sunday as a guest for my son and I to try it out. Sadly not a good experience. Booking over the phone and initial reception good but on the court we were next to a group of 4 mature men playing a doubles game. My son and I have played for a number of years and are relatively competent players however any time our ball went wide and across their court we were given some pretty nasty looks (despite the fact that we had to return a number of their balls over the hour). I gave my son some tips and a bit of instruction and heard a number tuts and huffs directed our way when I did despite the fact that we heard some pretty colourful language from their court for which we received no apology given that my son is only 9 years old. To be honest it was a very uncomfortable hour and although my son and I did our best to enjoy our game we were made to feel extremely unwelcome by the four men on the other court, who it appeared to me were mature members who didn't like children playing, despite the fact that it is advertised as a family friendly club. When we left the court at the end of our game two of the men looked at us, shook their head and tutted again - I couldn't believe it.As we left the club I decided to mention their behaviour to the young girl on receptio, particularly because my son commented on the men's language, plus I thought she might be as surprised and disappointed as we were. Instead her response suggested it was endemic - she said their attitude and language was because they were playing a game. I suggested that surely the club frowns on that behaviour and she said nothing. I asked if she could feed this back to the management as it has certainly put us off considering joining and she pretty much said and did nothing. So sadly this is not the club for us which is a real shame because on the surface it looks fab, but I think they have some work to do on making it family friendly.

We had the Sunday lunch. Prawn cocktail to start followed by the Pork and Beef, cauliflower cheese, roasted potatoes, mixed vegetables, stuffing and mixed vegetables. The meat was cooked to perfection and every mouthful was a delight!! Wine was great as was the service and ambience. I can't wait to revisit. Finding somewhere which serves great food is hard at the moment and R&R Bistro is up there with the best!!

Agree with previous posts .. a great spot and for me Iâd add it was delightful to trip across a gluten free pasty (veggie or meat!!) that was excellent. Trendy, cute, friendly with outdoor booths and deck chairs. Just chill and watch the sea and water sports. âItâs âHangtimeâ đ

We have been meaning to try Bab to go for ages & finally got around to it tonight. We got a bowl each & dumplings to take away, & some Kimchi to try to. It was so beautiful - I cannot decide what my favourite part of the dish was! The lady who served us was so friendly, knowledgeable & passionate about the food. We cannot wait to become regulars!

What a wonderful place. We went for breakfast (8 of us) and loved it. The food was delicious (cooked breakfast), the service excellent and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Excellent with allergies. The decor was retro which gave it a great feel. The sale of local products was an added bonus. We will definitely be visiting again before we finish our holiday. A cheeky piece of cake was taken away too. All the cakes looked delicious. The Lupin lady đ

Central Park Cafe is such a beautiful place filled with such kind and passionate staff. Itâs the perfect location to bring your furry friends and I am not joking when I say that your dog will be treated like royalty! Their coffee and food is fabulous, nothing is ever too much trouble and the constant smiles on all of the girls faces just says it all. Special mention to Katie the business owner who never fails to brighten up my mornings!! X - Han

I was staying in Ipswich for a spa break with friend. We had gone into the town for a shopping spree. As we did not know of anywhere to get a good Sunday roast looked on internet and found Stanley's in Frinton on sea. The welcome, food, atmosphere and staff was amazing

Oh, where do I even begin with Scottâs Tea Room? Itâs a delightful gem hidden in the heart of the villageâand, letâs be honest, once you catch a glimpse of Scott himself, you wonât be thinking about tea. Imagine a cozy little haven, with the aromas of freshly baked scones mingling in the air, all served by a man who looks like he just stepped out of a Viking movie set. Yes, Scott is hunky, bald, and bearded, and honestly, it should be illegal to make tea and cakes while looking that good. The tea selection? Impeccable. The cakes? Life-changing. But itâs the service thatâs the real star here. I mean, this guy pours tea like itâs a ritual handed down through generations of ruggedly handsome warriors. Scott can bring out a Victoria sponge like heâs presenting Excalibur, and somehow, the cup of Earl Grey tastes better because he poured it. Need sugar with that? Just catch his eyeâtrust me, itâs the only sugar youâll need. If youâre passing through the village, make it a priority to stop here. Come for the tea, stay for the Scott. And if he happens to flex while pouring your milk? Well, thatâs just a bonus.
