La Zingara in Mendip

Haven’t been here for several years and not since it was taken over by the new team. We had an excellent meal with great service from Ali whose partner does all the cooking. So a family run business that really cares about your experience and is happy to deal with food intolerances etc. I had calamari followed by swordfish in an olive, tomato and caper sauce with sauté potatoes and thoroughly enjoyed it. Reasonable pricing too. Recommended.

Visited for the first time and wasn’t disappointed, food was beautiful and services was amazing. Nice family run business and shows as the customer care was sending to none. Will definitely be visiting again.

The food all tasted fantastic, will be coming back as some many things looked so good. The service was even better, such friendly hosts who made you feel special!!!

Had a wonderful evening at La Zingara. Great food and wine. The menu has a good selection with plenty to choose from and on Mondays and Tuesdays there is a pizza and wine offer making eating out midweek affordable. The atmosphere is lovely and our host Alison provided great service. Can’t believe I haven’t been before given that I live in Knaphill. Will definitely be going back .

Gorgeous, fresh, tasty food, a great atmosphere and really friendly staff. Good value too, chuffed we've found a lovely Italian so nearby. Would thoroughly recommend.

We booked to go to Zingara for dinner and good catch up. The service was relaxed and we weren’t rushed in any way. Spoilt for choice on the menu! The three of us were very pleased with our food… no complaints at all. The lady who served us was very friendly and pleasant. Happy to recommend to friends

Had a nice dinner last with friends. Was great sitting outside and enjoy good Italian food. Didn't make it till dessert because already had too much to eat but will definitely come back for that!

Authentic Italian ,really family restaurant taking care of you with fantastic food cooked freshly by Rosario ...and always to be helpful with whatever you like even if is not on the menu he will make for you fresh ,you should try ...highly recommend it ...

Absolutely fantastic food! Cannot rate it enough, people just need to go to appreciate! We have found our go to restaurant from now on!

Tuesday evening, pre-lockdown starting on Thursday. It was highly understandable that just a very few items on the menu were not fully available, in order to save them ordering in items that more than likely would only go to waste. Nevertheless, we had a really enjoyable meal, and coupled with the attentive staff this made for a memorable evening. We'll be going back after the lockdown is lifted.
