Lakeside Cafe in Crawley

Best sausage and bacon bap I’ve ever had (and I’ve had plenty). Went with my family and we’re made to feel very welcome by the lovely staff. Beautiful settings surround the dining area outside. 100% would recommend to everyone and a good excuse to come back to Tilgate park.

Just stopped off after a dog walk,for a cuppa,and bacon bap, Great service,food was great,love the fact they wrapped the bap in bacofoil,which kept it hot. Gentleman doing the cooking etc,was Ace. Make sure if you're walking round Tilgate Park,make this a must stop.

Only popped up there to grab some hot drinks for myself and my fiancee and a juice for out god-daughter, first of such an amazing location with a great view over looking the lake, secondly the coffee was absolutely delightful (what beans do you guys use?) And very reasonably prived for a small self own business, And lastly, the couple that own and run the cafe where such lovely people, had a nice little chat with them, such kind, friendly people. Will definitely make this a regular stop on our walks around the lake. Oh and they also offer a loyalty card of buy 5 get the 6th free.

This cafe is simply amazing, the burger I had cooked for me today, was probably one of the best I’ve ever eaten.

If you feel like going for a walk around tilgate, this is the perfect pitstop. Great coffee and great food.

If you want to tantalise your taste buds. Then seriously try there food. After trying one of this gentleman's burgers, I had to have another. And would highly recommend anyone to try out chefs food. With a very warm welcome and very good quality ingredients. And very good pricing throughout. 5 star food and service with a smile.

Lovely spot with great food and a really varied menu! The fishfinger sandwich in particular is excellent!

What a fabulous hidden gem! Delightful service followed by scrummy food served with a smile and a bonus freshly made cookie and brownie! Such good value, thank you for making our morning, we will be back to try that Mexican cuisine for sure

What a ;marvellous place, staff so, so kind and thoughtful, nothing like walking round the park with a fabulous cappuccino, doesn't matter what the weathers like. Dog even gets a little something as well. If you haven't been, its well worth a visit, and most definately worth supporting such a friendly business.

The people are lovely and the food it so yummy!! Due to this being here, it encouraged me to sit by the lake and read after my daily run at the weekend, instead of going straight home. I spent the whole weekend at Tilgate Lake and wouldn't have if this café wasn't there!! The food is so delicious and reasonably priced! Highly recommend and hope they stay here permanently!

A good selection of food and beverages, people that work here and very friendly and helpful, and nice addition to Tilgate park.

Fantastic food at such reasonable prices! I took my mum here for lunch the food was amazing and such friendly people running it. I would definitely recommend to anyone to have lunch there. The steak burger I had was melt in your mouth but all of the menu looked delicious.

Been using the Lakeside Cafe for a while now with the local veterans club and it is amazing. Fantastic support from the owners and amazing food to match it

Fabulous food! Went there with my girlfriend & our teenage kids and we all absolutely loved our lunch. Delicious vegan options, healthy, freshly and speedily made for us. Great friendly service, and fantastic value. I would thoroughly recommend whilst you visit a Tilgate Park.

Amazing place for a spot of food and drink. Reasonably priced and right next to a decent car park and a beautiful lake with a walk around the edge. Food was delicious and good portion sizes. Friendly staff who are great with kids and dogs. Would recommend and looking forward to visiting again soon.
