This is the third superb cake I have bought from The Pastry Corner since I discovered the shop last November. I have also bought pastries and sandwiches. Everything I have had from them has been wonderfully made and beautifully presented. All aspects of their service are first class.

Have visited twice now and on both occasions the cakes have been divine. Nice to have a lovely cake shop in Southsea again

I’m delighted that we have The Pastry Corner now in Southsea. I’ve been lucky enough to have a selection of cakes on several occasions, for both the family and for friends, special occasions etc. Always exceptionally good, a fantastic variety, high quality cakes and amazing flavours. I cannot recommend highly enough and can’t wait for the next time !

We had a lovely afternoon tea delivery on Mother’s Day. It was packaged and presented well and it all tasted amazing and fresh. My favourite was the macaron and lemon meringue pie! The pastry really was exceptional! Also our daughter loved her mini afternoon tea. We will definitely use again and visit the shop.

We ordered an afternoon tea delivery 3 times during 2020: to celebrate our 1st anniversary, my birthday and one because we hadn’t had one in a couple of months and wanted a treat. This is the best afternoon tea I’ve ever had, hands down. The sandwiches are fresh and delicious, the scones are soft, but importantly, don’t crumble. And the cakes and sweet treats are heavenly...every time! We love the variety too; we’ve never had the same selection of cakes and treats twice. Customer service is exceptional. You are always made to feel important, no matter how much or little you’re purchasing. I can’t recommend highly enough.

We used Alex at The Pastry Corner for our wedding breakfast as we wanted to an informal style meal. She made amazing sharing hampers which created the perfect laid back atmosphere we wanted. From cold meats and cheeses, home made breads and salad to fruit scones and brownies- Yum!!! So many guests commented on the food and now close friends are now having The Pastry Corner for their wedding too! We have brought sharing platters and afternoon teas since and will continue to do so. I would 100% recommend- great and friendly service. Thank You

We have been customers of the pastry corner since Alex made our wedding cake back in 2017. Alex and her team never fail to disappoint and the new patisserie in Southsea is amazing, I can't recommend it highly enough for take away or a lovely coffee and treat. Alex has made us beautiful occasion cakes, afternoon tea picnic, valentines day treats. All beautifully presented and wonderfully delicious.

We ordered our wedding cake from here and I can whole-heartedly say that every flavour (and we had four because we couldn't choose!) was absolutely delicious and the cake itself was stunning. Our tasting session was great fun and we left knowing that our wedding cake was in safe hands. When the cake arrived at the venue, I went for a sneak peak and found the wedding coordinator (and several other venue staff!) taking pictures of it. Professional from start to finish, worth every penny (we found the price incredibly fair) and now my husband and I order cupcake versions every year for our anniversary.

I have been a customer of the Pastry Corner for many years and have never been disappointed. Not only do the cakes look incredible but they taste amazing, even for the next few days as well. Customer service is exceptional, and nothing is too much to ask. Alex always does her best to provide an extra little sparkle to any event. From birthdays to valentine's days and even for an everyday treat there are options available. My personal favourites are the Easter egg cheesecakes, the Tiffin and any of the sponge cakes (I've been fortunate to have tried many over the years!).... Definitely worth a visit to see, and taste, for yourself!

I ordered the 4 layer, 6" choclate birthday cake. It was beautifully presented, it looked amazing and tasted amazing too. It was decorated as we requested, lovely service when I collected it. I have already placed an order for Easter treats and I can't wait for the next birthday so we can order cake again.

We popped into the store in early December and ordered a gluten free brownie which was the best brownie I have ever had! Had a flat white and bought some millionaires shortbread which were also amazing. Definitely visit when you can!

After having tasty afternoon teas delivered last year, we visited The Pastry Corner in person in December and chose a variety of patisserie treats, they are all absolutely divine, and presented so beautifully, we also had the best takeaway coffee we've ever tasted! The shop itself is just so delightful, and Alex is an absolute wonder, along with her team. We loved our treats so much that we ordered again in January, a delivery for my daughter's birthday, again we had a selection of goodies, all of which were devoured with joy. Can't wait for the next opportunity to visit, and would recommend to everyone :)

I received a cake for my birthday from The Pastry Corner. The cake looked absolutely stunning, so professional and "Instagram-able". It was beautifully presented in a clear box, rather than hidden away on a cardboard box like most cake shop cakes. Our cake was Blueberry Cream cheese and it was so so tasty, really light sponge and flavoursome buttercream. I usually find birthday cake too rich, but this was perfect! They have a really cute shop in Southsea which is perfect to pop in to for a coffee. I can't wait to try the French Patisseries they have in display, they look amazing! I will definitely be recommending The Pastry Corner to all my friends going forwards.

I've used The Pastry Corner in a business capacity for years and more recently in a personal capacity with lockdown afternoon teas and treats which have been a saviour! Alex catered my small lockdown birthday lunch with a grazing board and incredible cake in December and it made the day! Her patisserie products are out of this world and visiting the shop is a wonderful experience with far too many things to choose from!!! An easy 5 star and I shall continue recommending to all who listen!!!

A taste of Paris, here in Hampshire! Stunning, both in taste and looks. A real treat, real luxury and for such a small amount of money.

I have been going to Alexandra and her team for many years. Always deliver exceptional customer service and most importantly excellent cake/pastries. The lemon meringue pie in particular is to die for. Will be back for more!!
