We ate here regularly while camping and the food was amazing. I've 2 picky eaters and the staff went above and beyond to meet my kids needs. Honestly some top notch grub.

My daughter and I went to the cafe today after doing the Studfolf adventure trail. It was a very hot afternoon so went for a cold can of pop and icecream. The ladies that were in today were so lovely. Ensuring we had the coldest cans as they had ran out of ice. Very much appreciated :) and we also had an icecream, one with caramel sauce and a chocolate flake! Absolute delicious (also had sprinkles and chopped or strawberry sauce). Staff were happy and helpful, gave the cafe a lovely relaxing atmosphere. Couldn't of asked for better service. Thank you so much

My wife and I have popped in here a couple of times lately when we've been out walking and it's a real find. The sarnies are magic (bread is light as a feather and plenty of filling), cakes are lovely and there's a decent selection of drinks too. They even do the odd hot dish. The kids that work there are friendly and efficient. Well done! Definitely worth a visit!

We were staying at Studfold in our motor home over the weekend, called at the cafe for breakfast while we were there both days. Great selection of high quality food. Very welcoming and efficient staff, spotlessly clean. Recommended!

I ordered a celebratory afternoon tea for six people, for a birthday picnic. The choices, quality, quantity and presentation were all absolutely superb - and extremely good value for money. The ordering process was straightforward and communication absolutely spot on. I cannot recommend Nidderdale Way Cafe highly enough, and will definitely be using their services again.

I had a special birthday recently and we asked Nidderdale Way cafe to do catering for 40people. It was just marvellous! Lovely savouries ( quiches sandwiches etc) and the sweets were to die for. We were nearly fighting over the fresh cream meringues! Cannot recommend highly enough. Thanks again Julia and team

Visited the Studfold trail today and ordered a picnic from the cafe next door. Friendly service and delicious food. We had a ploughman’s and a ham salad box in our picnic basket which were generous in size and reasonably priced 😋

Needed some takeaway sandwiches and had read that Thug were the best, plus they do gluten free options. We got a gluten free curried chicken and a 'normal' KFCaesar sandwich. Both were delicious and crammed full of filling. The gluten free bread was also very good.

Has been closed for a few months now and I recently read on their FB page that they are not reopening. A pity as it was a decent local place with very good food.

It was everything I had hoped for. Beautiful, top quality food in a relaxed but resolutely professional setting. The chefs, Aled and Richard, are incredibly skilled and chatted easily to the table of ten while plating our 14 'snacks' - I was pretty full by round 10 but managed to squeeze in the fabulous final four sweet dishes. The team set an ideal pace, moving us along through the varied menu without feeling rushed. Paul, the sommelier, was a wonderful host. Greeting us with champagne on arrival and curating a varied and interesting selection of wine pairings with charming introductions for each one. He also doubled up as an excellent cocktail maker as the evening progressed. Book it now you won't regret it!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at “The Cud Life” campsite in the stunning Yorkshire countryside, this campsite offers the perfect blend of tranquility, natural beauty, and good facilities. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. The site itself is well maintained and most important quiet, with spacious pitches. Whether you’re pitching a tent, parking a campervan, or staying in one of their cozy cottages, you’ll find everything you need for a comfortable stay. The shower blocks are clean with plenty of hot water. But what truly sets *The Cud Life* apart is the people. A special shout-out to Mark, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. His friendliness and genuine enthusiasm were infectious! He was always on hand to offer helpful tips about the local area and recommended some good sights to visit. Mark’s kindness and dedication truly made this a memorable stay. If you’re looking for a campsite that combines natural beauty, good facilities, and a warm, welcoming vibe, “The Cud Life” is the place to be. And if you’re lucky enough to meet Mark, you’ll understand why this place feels so special. We will return one day! Highly recommended!

Last weekend, we were recommended to try Vanilli’s Artisan 🍨at Harrogate– and it was incredible! We tried the Oreo & Vanilla and the Salted Caramel & Belgian Chocolate – which really amazed me because the combination of rich Belgian chocolate and sweet-salty caramel was magic. They also have dairy-free options, soya, coconut, sorbet.🍧 Vanilli’s is tucked away in a quiet corner, it’s a hidden gem you’ll want to find. Get there early though , especially on the European Artisanal Gelato Day on 24 March– flavours sell out fast! By fishenjoylife
