Vanilli's in Harrogate

Me and my girlfriend visited at the weekend and were treated to an ice cream by a very kind stranger - it made our weekend, and we will definitely be back for more!

Came in on a food tour. The owner was really insightful. The ice cream was all made in store and tasted absolutely amazing.

Tried yummy gillato and a wonderfully knowledgeable owner, whose passion made something amazing taste even better. Couldn't recommend this highly enough. We will definitely be back, with friends, for many more scoops.

This is probably the very best ice cream I have ever had it puts British Italian ice cream parlours to shame . If in Harrogate this is a must place to visit.

The best vegan chocolate sorbet ever. It was more like a truffle crossed with a mousse. Made with high quality high percentage dark chocolate. It is definitely worth a trip!

Small batch ice cream made and kept with care and attention. Wow can you taste the flavour. Really knowledgeable owner with a real passion for producing the best ice cream out there. Go and try it, you won’t be disappointed

One of the best ice-cream in Harrogate.

One of the best ice creams to have here in Harrogate. I am sure I ll come back many times more, even bring family & friends. I tried 4 flavors White chocolate, Salted Caramel, Creme Brulee and Honey Coomb White chocolate and creme brulee were the best for me then salted caramel. Honey coomb needed more flavor. The cone itself was superior. Wished there was a cone dipped with milk chocolate not dark. Overall experience was outstanding. A big Thank you for the owners effort. Wish them best of luck. Next time will try more flavors.

The ice cream is superb! All handmade with fresh ingredients. It’s the best I’ve tasted! The owner is really friendly too. They also do amazing coffees, milkshakes and seasonal ice cream flavours. Can’t wait to return!

We stopped off at this great ice cream parlour whilst on Kays Food and walking tour and what a great place to enjoy properly made ice cream! We sampled lots of different flavours and all were amazing! Will definitely be back!

Best ice cream I’ve eaten! It’s our weekly Friday treat and the flavours always change, if you get a chance try the cherry and ricotta and tiramisu. Alex is kind, friendly, and makes great ice cream.

Best ice cream in Harrogate by far. Friendly owner too. They have a great selection of gelato and ice cream with some flavours that change regularly and constant staples. They also cater for vegan/dietary requirements through their really good non-dairy options. It's not just sorbet as most other places serve, they do many varieties of Oat ice cream. Get the Oreo and raspberry, a personal favourite!!

Fantastic ice cream and friendly service

In Harrogate again for a show and we made a special point of visiting this place again. Same as last time in that the ice cream was delicious. Lots of flavours to choose from and great, friendly service. If you like ice cream be sure to check this place out.

The best ice cream parlour I have come across to date. I have eaten ice creams from all over the UK and this one was fantastic. There were many unique and delicious looking flavours on offer & I was spoilt for choice but there was a queue so I had to decide, I wanted most of them but eventually I chose the dangerous smooth triple 70% Belgian chocolate which was to die for and it was soooo chocolatey, also the creamy and fruity ricotta and cherry flavour, that was yummy and lastly the classic pudding in an ice cream ... apple crumble and custard a d that was a sheer delight. All three served in a large tasty, crunchy biscuty chocolate cone. I also had a proper cadburys 99 flake thrown in for good measure just to top it off nicely. It was very delicious, I could easily have had another one. I will be heading straight back there very soon indeed

As part of a local food tour we dropped into Vanilli's and were more than pleasantly surprised at both the range of products but the enthusiasm and knowledge of the owner. Everything we tasted was exceptional and the Triple Chocolate a clear winner. We will definitely be back.

I visited Vanilli as part of a vegan food tour of Harrogate. Alex is very knowledgeable and passionate about what he does. The ice-cream is really tasty. There are several products in his vegan range which I would buy again and I'm not actually vegan 😀

This is the most amazing icecream, I would travel hours and stand in miles of queues for Vanilli's icecreams and milkshakes! We have been going regularly for over 5 years and the quality is always the same.

Just exquisite artisan ice cream. The best taste experience I have ever had, and we seek out artisan ice cream venues as a pastime when on our UK travels. Delightful staff. Great choice of flavours. Very considerate and allergy aware for Coeliac clients. 5 stars is not enough. Just try it out yourself !

Fabulous artisan ice cream made on site. The best ice cream I have had in a long time!

We don't live far from Harrogate and randomly noticed this place so had to try it. I love gelato and have had it in many countries and have to say this is some of the best gelato I've ever had. The owner was really friendly and clearly enthusiastic about his ice cream. He was happy to let us try different flavours and I got a scoop of the orange marmalade which tasted really fresh, with an amazing orange taste and really creamy texture. My wife got the chocolate which was equally as good. Highly recommend this place and we will definitely be back in future.

Sorry I don't have pictures of the ice creams we bought as we ate them all before I realised I hadn't done a review! but omg they are amazing! The dairy free choices are brilliant and so nice which is good as my daughter is dairy free due to allergies. The dairy free chocolate is one of the best I've tried! We will definitely go again when we are visiting Harrogate

The Ice Cream is awesome …… but that’s not the story here ….. The choice of DAIRY FREE/ VEGAN ice cream is AMAZING! (Soy milk, Oat milk and Coconut Milk versions) My son (10) is so bored of the same old choices for Dairy Free...

Visited here whilst in Harrogate, a fabulous selection of flavours, gelato made to an Italian recipe, gorgeous ice cream, well worth the price for artisan ice cream and much better than the whipped ice cream you get in the valley gardens, a treat not to miss.

Walking into this shop was like stepping into heaven!! As someone who is lactose intolerant, Buying ice cream like this is a very rare treat. To have a choice of soy flavours was Amazing!! I can honestly say I have never tasted ice cream this good!! Service was amazing too, very friendly and chatty. If we are ever visiting the area again we will most definitely be back :)

Visited here today with my wife. It was brilliant that they offer quality vegan ice cream and even better that it didn't taste artificial like some do. I had a normal dairy Turkish delight ice cream cone and the flavour was phenomenal. There was a rather strange arrangement of random people stood up the stairs in there whilst we were getting served which was quite bizarre, although they all seemed nice people and it didn't detract from the fact that the ice cream was amazing.

Vanilli Arisan Ice Cream, make and sell the very best ice cream, it can't be beaten on flavour. A wonderful treat, nothing else matches it.

A great artisan ice cream shop we discovered as part of the Yorkshire Food Tour in Harrogate. Owner is a wonderful person and they cater for vegans and allergies excellently. The selection is fantastic and you can tell it's all handmade ice cream with quality ingredients to boot! An absolute must visit, especially on a sunny day!

We were taken to this fabulous ice cream shop on a food tour of Harrogate. It was the most delicious ice cream / gelato I have ever tasted . Alex the owner was really informative and chatty about how it was made and we were given samples to try of several flavours. I cannot recommend this place enough - well worth a visit and will be returning again on my next visit to Harrogate .

There are icecream shops in the valley garden, I’m sure they are good, not sure why anyone would use them when Vanillis is a 2 min walk away. The owner really knows his game. Understands what the difference between homemade gelato and icecream is all about. Flavours fantastic, we had lime and lemon marmalade, vanillis and chocolate banana. All great. Just sad I live so far away that I can’t come more often!

Amazing to find liquorice ice cream, would have liked it to be stronger flavoured but still delish. A friend took me as a surprise on a trip from over the Pennines. Great selection of flavours. Very pleasant staff. A few chairs outside would have been just right.

What a gem! Only 2 mins walk from the Valley Gardens recreation area we found real made on the premises ice cream with a selection of interesting flavours served by a convivial and generous host. You only had to listen to the conversations taking place to quickly realise that many customers were regular visitors which has to be an endorsement of the high quality product that was available. Absolutely lovely thank you.

First visit to this ice cream shop. Ice cream was very nice but one of the two scoops was surprisingly small.

We have never tasted such delicious vegan ice cream. Soya milk based, coconut based and oat milk based options are served. The owner apologised for only having 9 available for us to choose from as the others had sold out. This will be our detour venue whenever we are around Harrogate. Thank you.
