The best restaurants serving Italian food in England

I loved this place, always visited when we stayed at the Cresta Court airport hotel down the road. Always a friendly welcome, fabulous food, incredible cocktails. We were so sad to turn up and find it closed. I've recommended this to lots of my friends. I hope it will re-open one day as it was really missed on our last visit

Delicious Italian dishes and desserts. The seafood risotto I had was wonderful. Very friendly staff. Great ambience.

Reservamos esto para una puesta al día con amigos y tuvimos un tiempo encantador. Las porciones son quizás un poco más pequeñas, pero esto te da espacio para comer los postres, que son increíbles. El servicio era amable y relajado - también a diferencia de tantos lugares en Londres, fuimos capaces de mantener nuestra mesa durante más de 3 horas - esto era un verdadero placer para no ser apresurado o molestado. La carta de vinos era genial también.

Both the food and service were excellent. From initially walking in we were made to feel very welcome. The choice of menu was very good and the staff took the time to give recommendations.

The food never fails to disappoint at Oliver’s. I love the pizzas which have a great base with a variety of different toppings. Will be back again!

Today 10/8/2024 we were on our way to Mablethorpe to enjoy a family holiday and some time out after my husband sadly losing his beloved grandma 4 weeks prior. We unfortunately broke down just outside of Lincoln, luckily we were fixed by the AA back on the road within a couple of hours. Great we thought! not 32 miles later the car breaks down AGAIN! Luckily for us, just outside the lovely Bambarinos Italian restaurant! What was an extremely stressful day was made to feel a little bit easier by the kind and generous people here! Giving myself and hubby tea and coffee and my children pizza and chips free of charge. Thank you so much, it’s nice to know there’s still kind and genuine people in the world. Amazing coffee and homemade lemon &almond tart! Amazing place with a great atmosphere and music👌 You may feel like in your Italian grandparents house by so lovely 😍 I heard that pizza here is one of the best 👌 Owner is from Sardine 👌🙂

Came across by chance and so glad we went in. Delicious reasonably priced Italian classics, and welcoming ambience and friendly staff.

Unplanned visit before a show at the Albany. Tastefully decorated and staff were warm and welcoming. A bit on the expensive side, but worth it in my opinion. We went for the 2 courses for £26 option and both of us thoroughly enjoyed our food. Highly recommend the mushroom starter. Will return.

So very sad to hear that Massimos has closed. We have spent many happy times there, with lovely food. We are left with our memories, and offer our good wishes to all the family in any future endeavours. Tim and Janet.

Booked to go here tonight to celebrate granddaughters a level results only to find find they were closed .. . Booked 3 weeks ago , would have been nice to have been informed that they were close!!@ We went to Dolmus Italia and had a lovely meal were very accommodating and had a lovely meal. We'll recommend.

This is probably the best Italian food I’ve ever had! I’ve been to many Italian restaurants around the world, including in Italy, and this one is the best. Located in Belgravia it’s definitely worth the trip. Yes it's a little expensive, but I think you get what you pay for, and the high-quality, fresh food is worth it. The service was excellent, making the experience even better. I highly recommend it!

Absolutely beautiful restaurant, ambience perfect, chilled music, low lighting, and best of all fantastic food! Oh and staff so lovely... we can't wait to visit again! Julie & Roy
