Great food, fantastic service and very affordable prices.

Have been here before, upmarket but the prices are still reasonable. Italian food is my favourite!

We had a good lunch, there was plenty of choice at reasonable prices, I will return.

All very bland, just literally cream on the chicken I had, supposed to be a brandy and peppercorn sauce but tasted of nothing but cream. No seasoning on any of it at all. Very disappointed after paying over £50 for 3 small meals and 2 very disappointing starters.

One of the worst restaurants we visited. We were poisoned because of it and were admitted to the emergency hospital

I'm afraid not good at all. Me and my daughter sat down and two glasses of water was bought over straight away which was nice. I ordered a pizza and my daughter had a pasta dish. I was shocked how bad the pizza was, looked like a cheap one from Iceland l. But you can see the chef making them. My daughter pasta looked OK. At no point was we asked if we wanted any drinks. Only 2 other tables in and looks like it's up for sale

My wife and I stopped in here before boarding a train back to London. We had just hiked 15 miles from Seaford over the sisters and just wanted a pie to go. The lovely server at the counter was nice, quick, and comforting after such a long day. Prices were more than reasonable, and the pizza itself was delicious. I think we finished it in seconds after only having to wait 10 minutes for it to come out of the oven, which you get to watch.

Thank you Charlie and the Chef for a great meal tonight . Great service and lovely food . We heard great things about this Restaurant . We will be back .

From outside Very inviting. On entering welcoming smile and greeting showed to table. No rush no pressure genuinely good relax ordering and service. Excellent friendly staff consistently good food very reasonable prices.

Came in here for a quick lunch, not knowing what to expect. The service was okay, however had a good menu with fair prices. We ordered the mozzarella carrozza, which I was pleased to see on the menu and was absolutely delicious. After that we shared a spaghetti bolognese which was just what I had needed after a very wet day. The menu had a good choice of Italian wines however when it came, it would have been much better if it was served chilled, rather than being quite warm. However the restaurant overall, was very nice and I would love to come here for lunch again.

Fantastic lunch menu. The food is delicious and the staff are friendly and welcoming. This little gem of a place in the of Little Chelsea area of Eastbourne is a wonderful to go to. Would definitely recommend this place. The service was excellent and they dealt with a difficult / unreasonable customer extremely well.

I had my birthday here 17th June 2023, there were 24 of us a mix of ages all with different dietary requirements. The staff were helpful happy could not have done more for us. I had the best fishy pizza Pappardelle gianluca So fresh it was wonderful Great charming service And a guest commented that her carbonara dish was perfect just perfect I finished with cassata perfectly complimented with frresh orange slices And I was hosting 13 guests No delays All very happy And The house pink wine was delicious Hooray for such cooking and such a restaurant No wonder that several tables looked as if occupied by regulars

I feel like every time I come here the food is getting plainer and service worse. Waiting staff is forgetful and clumsy. Every time there is something wrong with my order or waiter forgot to bring part of my order.

Excellent service. Superb food. It's no wonder that this is our favourite Italian restaurant.

I'm a family orientated diner, and I do like this place for the pizzas. So do my children. The young boy that waits there is very polite and well trained. I don't really like the pasta and my last experience with the squid wasn't too great either, but we do visit for a casual drink now and then and it does the job. It's neve rtoo busy so I'd probably take a party or big family there for a venue but expect it to be pricey. My bellini was nearly 7 quid for the tiniest glass I have ever seen and the pasta I reckon is overpriced. Its atmosphere is pleasant but its relaxed and sometimes my children are a little extrovert so sometimes I feel like this isn't the place for us but as I said it's never that busy.

The food and service were above and beyond expectations. It was not too busy as it was lunchtime. But it was still fabulous . Thank you

Food was OK but not impressed with the window display menu having cheaper prices than on the menu give at the table, maybe it's an error but needs to be sorted.

Had to visit this restaurant again on our weekend away as the first time a few months back was excellent. Once again the staff were were on point and friendly, thank you ladies. The food was just as we remembered, absolutely delicious. Prawn starters, fillet steak mains, with banoffee pie and cheeses to finish. This restaurant is a must visit if in the area.

Came here as part of the death cafe group that meets here every other month on a Monday evening from 6-8. The staff are friendly, the food good, and the company great.

This is my go to place any time I have family or friends down to visit! Every meal I’ve had here (which is a lot of times) has been gold standard, alongside the service and atmosphere.

The actual carbonara pasta dish was creamy and tasty too. We also tried a scarfo pizza. There were lots of toppings. We didn't have to wait long for our food. The restaurant was clean and the waitress attentive. Food was fantastic. Really enjoyed ourselves.

We tried two pizzas from here tonight, very disappointed, the pizza base was great but the cheese tasted like cheap cheese sauce rather than mozarella. We won’t be buying from here again.

This is a REAL disappointment for us as we always go here. Got a delivery and spent £40, delivery, speed and temperature were all good as usual but the cheese on the pizza was completely disgusting and tasted like they've completely cut corners and now use the cheapest "cheese" available. Definitely not mozzarella. Absolutely inedible. All the other food was good as normal but sadly the pizzas were absolutely horrible simply because of one key ingredient.

Only had some lovely pudding and a coffee but we very much enjoyed it

I went in for lunch today after seeing the Set Lunch menu outside. I wanted the calzone as pictured on the set menu but turns out its not on actually on the set menu so I paid the extra as really wanted it and It was awful. I told the waitress mid way through that I didnt think it was cooked enough as wasnt hot inside and food seemed raw. She took it away and brought back few mins later and it was obvious it had just been microwaved and covered in the sauce. really wasnt impressed. the waitress didnt ask if we enjoyed at the end as she didnt want the answer. Wont be going back. wouldnt advise anyone to go there either

Extensive menu, delicious food, great service and a really nice place. Such a shame that the portion of the main pasta dish was very small and barely covered the plate. If the portions were a decent size I would definitely go back. You just can't go back to a restaurant if you were still hungry when you left, and after 2 courses, no matter how good it is.

Order sirloin came out as small chunks of meat not like any sirloin iv had before, Sunday so might be a stand in chef anyway didn't enjoy it to at all so not going back

Staff nice, food/drink ok but ridiculously over priced for what you get/what it is. I won't be going back myself, there are other places that cost the same with better food and other places that are cheaper with better food. Some folks clearly like it, which is fair enough, it's not for me though.

This was our first time eating in, we usually get your delicious food delivered to our bed and breakfast. We love the menu, it's always beautifully cooked and delivered quickly. Tonight we decided to eat in (we had a rare night off) and your service was excellent the food perfect and we treated ourselves to dessert too. Thank you so much.

Had an early dinner here on a Friday night during a short break and found it to be the best restaurant we came across in the area. Solid Italian food – pasta, risotto, pizza – but really well done with a few innovative dishes on the menu, good service and a nice atmosphere.

The best Italian food and coffee in Eastboune! Have tried many from the menu but my favourites are most of the pizzas and cappucino coffee! Also a price range is very competitive, would definitely recommend to everyone!!!

Had dinner here on Saturday night. The prawn starters, fillet mains and cheese board to finish with were all amazing. The waitress was professional but at the same time so very welcoming and made us feel at home. Great restaurant would recommend.

Dismal cooking skills, the food tasted and looked as if out of a Lidl frozen ready meal section. Our "Antipasti platter" was anything but. I heard the pizza is good though.

First visit here although I used to go regularly when it was The Bistro. Lovely waitress who was very helpful and friendly but that was it. The food was very disappointing. I ordered calves liver and bacon with seasonal vegetables. Meat was good but the seasonal vegetables were severely out of date, swede, cabbage and carrots are not seasonal vegetables. I was expecting, green beans, courgettes, peas, even summer squash but what I got was not seasonal. Also roast new potatoes were tasteless. My wife had a Contadina pizza. Base was great but the vegetable again had no taste. My wife offered me a slice and honestly, if I had blind tasted it I could not have named one vegetable on the pizza. It was a shame because everybody was friendly but let down by indifferent cooking.

Wonderful food and even better service. We had a family meal here last night with our 2 little ones and had a brilliant time. The waiter looked after us really well, joked with our kids and just made our night more fun. The pasta dishes were delicious and they were accomdating of some changes to the dishes. The chocolate mousse on the profiteroles was incredible!

My first love family owned Italian resto when I moved in Eastbourne. Dine in or take away is always a good experience. Ambiant is nice and food is amaaazingggg! They do NHS discount as well. Awesome!

Visited last night for my sisters birthday. Very friendly head of house, food was lovely starters mains and desserts, just on a personal note I prefer the service charge not to be added automatically as we will always tip a good service anyway.
