We visited here for a family birthday as it had been highly recommended to us. It did not disappoint, the small, friendly restaurant had a cosy atmosphere, the service was perfect and well what can I say about the food, a fantastic menu also with a wide range of options for vegetarians and vegans as well. Every meal was delicious. We will definitely return and recommend to anyone that knows us.

We found this restaurant by accident looking for a dog friendly place to eat and I'm so pleased we did. The service was friendly and efficient. The food was delicious and such high quality. We were allowed to take our small dog in with us. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant.

It's a small, cosy authentic Neopolitan resaurant. The food was wonderful. Fresh mozzerella. The Sole Mio Pizza with Italian brocolli and sausage was the best pizza I've ever had. We had a brilliant evening here.

Delicious food, Vegan menu had a lot of choices. And the surprise vegan birthday cake was amazing! Much appreciated. Definitely recommend.

Very welcoming, a small restaurant with homemade pasta. We ordered the shared platter as a starter, very generous portions with 4 different cold meats and 4 cheese with a delicious homemade flavoursome bread, full of flavour and good quality. We then had a seafood pasta and a baked meat pasta dish, the homemade pasta was delicious and the sauces really had a good depth of flavour. One of the best Italians in Eastbourne, a little gem we have only recently discovered. The restaurant is quite small and narrow, so it could be drafty if you are seated close to the door. We will definitely visit again.

Last minute trip to Eastbourne. Checked out few Italian restaurants for group of eight. Chose here on gut feeling. Turned out guts right and very well fed. Genuine and great Italian food. bellisimo

We were delighted to find this restaurant for a Saturday night treat. It is maybe overlooked due to its location on Seaside Road, but it is no distance from the centre of town and, on all counts deserves to be in the top 10 Eastbourne restaurants featured on Trip Advisor (though it isn't!). The food is really authentic and tasty and the service is very efficient and friendly. Importantly, it was also good value for money. This was our first visit but we will definitely be back.

First time here, although my friends had been before with great feedback. Lovely meatballs to start with a Farfalle Quattro Formaggi for main. Pasta bows in a rich creamy cheesy sauce. Nice service and food and the restaurant had a really chilled atmosphere and we will definitely return. Highly recommended.

What a great find, the manager is really lovely and makes you feel so very welcome. The food was delicious and pasta homemade too, arriving piping hot, fresh and was so very tasty. So glad we have discovered this now and will definitley be returning

Went in Bank holiday Monday. Picked as we had no idea where to go, and we were passing. Food was good. Nice little restaurant. Large menu. Food was well prepared and reasonably priced.

Fui a cenar con amigos y familiares, decepcionado por la pasta de mariscos súper salada mal cocida. El marisco estaba congelado con gambas y vieiras como balas de goma. La ensalada mixta era un poco de lechuga iceberg picada con 2 minúsculos trozos de tomate. Me quejé y una pasta y ensalada fue quitada de la factura. Sigue siendo caro para la comida que habría estado en casa en un restaurante italiano de los años 80. No hay excusa con tantos otros restaurantes locales que ofrecen un estándar de comida mucho más alto en Eastbourne a precios más competitivos.

Después del entrante, que estaba bien, pedí Salmone Grigliato, que se supone que es un filete de salmón servido con verduras mediterráneas a la parrilla o ensalada con salsa de yogur casera. Cuando llegó pude ver que el trozo de salmón era muy pequeño y venía con ensalada y papas lo cual no me importó, me acabo de dar cuenta que no me dieron la salsa de yogur. El pescado se había cocido demasiado y todo el plato estaba seco. Cuando le pregunté al camarero sobre el tamaño del salmón, dijo que lo que había recibido era el tamaño estándar, por lo que no estaba muy contento, ya que como mucho salmón y no creo que sea correcto. Además, mi plato de comida no se parecía en nada a lo que han mostrado en su sitio web. No sentía que el camarero hiciera nada para ayudar y estaba ocupado charlando con sus amigos. No volveré a visitar.

Absolutely delightful little family run Italian, the food was delicious and the staff are lovely too! Highly recommend and there is hand sanitiser on arrival so COVID-19 safe too.

One of those lovely family run places that makes you feel like you’re thousands of miles away. Very impressive to achieve during these strange times, Covid measures were in place but not obtrusive to the atmosphere. We came for the Vegan Menu and were very impressed by both the range and quality of food. Arancini ball starter! All homemade breads and fresh pasta! The hazelnut dessert with vegan gelato was to die for. Our only slight niggle was that the spinach pasta sauce was a little salty to our taste but I’m sure we’ll try it again :)The staff were very friendly and as we’re new to the area it was a delight to see many passers by stop to wave. We’ll be back very soon!

We where in Esstbourne around 7.30pm when we came across this Italian restaurant.Run by a young Italin couple. We were the only ones in the restaurant at the time. The food is freshly cooked, " as muma cooks it" and the licensed restaurant serves Wine & Beer. It was not long before our presence was noticed by a group of Dutch tourist who came in and ordered food and Beers.I have no hesitation in recommending this small Independent Restaurant. Jod

Small but nice venue. Both waiters sweet and friendly. My chicken wasn't great it was pink cold and I had a gippy tummy after it. With hindsight and as my partner suggested I should have mentioned it at the time to the waiter. But I didn't. Apart from that..the rest of the meal was ok. The staff were sweet and service was good.

What a fantastic cute stylish restaurant! With tasty authentic Italian food, cooked by a couple of experts, and served by a very polite waiter! My Seafood pizza was a ‘Special Order’ for a ‘Birthday celebration’! Garlic bread was spot on, served with Italian Lager. This restaurant must be visited, if you want gorgeous Italian food.

I come to this restaurant a couple of times and it never disappointed me. A nice atmosphere with nice relaxing music, food here is amazing accompanied with an excellent glass of red wine. I have visited this lovely restaurant a few times now, and I can honestly say its a small piece of Italy in the UK. My friend and I ate a vegan meal and it was delicious. But....and pay attention here...the vegan chocolate cake is worth visiting here for just that alone. We came to this restaurant on the off chance in a large group of 9 adults. It was very quiet for a Friday night but I don’t know why! The service was amazing and the food lovely. It’s so nice to go to an independent Italian restaurant where everything is traditional and homemade. My only criticism was the lasagne was slightly over cooked but everyone else’s food was perfect. I’mJust sorry we didn’t have time to stay for dessert!

Wir hatten Lust auf Pizza und haben das O Sole Mio spontan aufgesucht. Es handelt sich um ein kleines gemütliches Lokal, das von Italienern geführt wird. Wir haben uns dort sofort wohl gefühlt und die Pizzen waren sehr lecker.

Very friendly, efficient service and a wide choice of food including vegan options. Food was all well above standard Italian in UK. The Caprice salad was especially good. The house red was the nicest wine that I've had in quite a while.

We visited "O Sole mio" recommended by a friend of us and we were not disappointed! Good products which remind us about our life in Italy, very testful pasta and specially pizza.The only things we would like to find better next time are a larger antipasto portion for sharing and a better olive oil.

We have visited this little gem restaurant during our Bank Holiday weekend in Eastbourne and we have been welcomed by Loris the owner young Italian men that with her mother in the kitchen and his father run this family business.We have tried some delicious Italian dishes including the pizza that has been made in the proper Italian way. The restaurant proposes homemade pasta as well and also some regional cuisine typical from the south of Italy.The experience overall was fantastic and we ended with a lovely Limoncello offered by them.I recommend trying this gourmet restaurant if you love Italian dishes.

The staff are amazing but I would not recommend eating here. The garlic bread was three thin slices but tasted like hard buttery bread. The vegan option was fine but my partners pasta tasted like warm water and wasn’t cooked properly.

A nice, family-run, simple and unpretentious Italian restaurant with an excellent selection of vegan (and of course vegetarian) dishes - pizzas, calzones, bakes, desserts etc. My wife had vegan cannelloni; I had the vegan aubergine involtini, and we were both happy with our choices. Vegan blueberry cheesecake for dessert. Good strong coffee for the road, together with a cute little vegan almond biscuit with a chip of pistachio on top. Friendly and helpful service. This restaurant deserves to succeed. Recommended.Close to the seafront, the pier and the railway station.

This place is all about simple amazingly tasty traditional Italian food. We’re in Eastbourne for a couple of nights and had planned to try another restaurant but after eating at this place we have to go back a second time.

Lovely traditional Italian restaurant with delicious home made food and wine with very friendly service. The candles, red and white gingham tablecloths, and Italian music made me feel we were back in Sorrento. This family owned restaurant is an atmospheric little gem and deserves to do well. We will be back.

This was my first visit to this little Italian restaurant as is is quite new, and I must say this place is absolutely fantastic, easily the most authentic Italian food I have eaten in a restaurant I had one of the vegan pizzas as my fiancé and I have both been vegan for a while, the food was exquisite, the service was exceptional and the prices were amazingly reasonable, so much so that we gave a hefty tip!! Very highly recommended not just for vegans, but for everyone

Just been fortunate enough to find this fantastic restaurant and enjoy a wonderful meal. The service was absolutely first rate and the food was excellent. Took our eight year old niece with us who was treated like a vip by the incredibly attentive and polite waiter who went out of his way to make it a thouroughly enjoyable evening for us all. My friend and I were looking for somewhere nice to eat and were lucky to find O Sole Mio which has recently opened in Eastbourne.Throughout the evening, we were looked after very well, by the charming waiter who, was more than happy to make recommendations from the menu, ensuring our visit all the more enjoyable.The food was cooked to a very high standard. My chicken, mushroom dish was divine, particularly the vegetables and white wine sauce. My friend was very happy with his pizza a la Genovese, I tried some and it was one of the nicest I have had mainly because of the base which was cooked traditionally and to a high standard.A family business, seving food to a high standard, with a smile on their face.Highly recommend a visit..

Saw a sign in the town centre showing this place as new, checked it out on Saturday night, was quiet but expected as it is new. Pleased to hear they specialise in home made food and you could really tell through the fresh taste. Staff were exceptional and I couldn’t recommend this place enough, will be returning!
