La Nostra ticks both. ...the only thing they dont discount is their quality :)

Absolutely lovely place. Owners are kind, atmosphere was peaceful and mainly food was perfect. The pasta was to die for. Would highly recommend to all people in the area to try out.

Phenomenal restaurant. The food is fresh and tasty every time I’ve been. Exquisite prawns and delicious linguini. Since eating the pizza from here, I’ll never go back to Dominos. The service is first class, so hospital and authentic - helps the experience of dining. The atmosphere is just right, pleasant to be there, soft music and well decorated. Highly recommended. Look no further.

We dined twice at the weekend and found the food excellent, freshly cooked and pleasant service. The lasagne was the best I’ve tasted for years and my wife had the crab/prawn tagliatelle which was delicious and full of fresh crab. Would highly recommend

We have been regulars for quite a while. We have noticed that the quality of the food and it been under/over cooked becoming a regular trend. Clearly the staff are under pressure having lost their welcoming smile and happiness. A real pity

We had been before and enjoyed pizzas and were interested to go back after a recent refurbishment. The space is clean and bright, the welcome is very genuine and the food was very good indeed. We ordered starters from a specials menu - fresh anchovies and an interesting salad of fennel, rocket and pomegranate, both delicious - then had pizza and pasta. Generous servings and an excellent bottle of Primitivo, really exceptionally good for a short wine list. So two very satisfied customers who will be returning.

Lovely food and a large menu to choose from. Great atmosphere and service. Just one small complaint that it is a small restaurant and tables are very close together.

The pizzas were amazing! We explained that we needed g/f and they couldn't have been more helpful with our dietary needs and explained how they separated g/f to the normal Pizzas. Put our minds at rest! Service brilliant. Highly recommend!

Went to have a pizza with the family at la Nostra. The pizza which was baked in a wood oven in front of us was fantastic. The people are very nice too and create a great atmosphere around the restaurant. Will definitely be going again.

Had the pizza which was ok. More of a Roman style rather than the traditional Neapolitan dough pizza. "La Nostra".....you'd think Italian but Owners and staff are not Italian.

I was very disappointed from this restaurant today. I went there for my first time with my boyfriend. Ordered two started and two main courses. Starter were OK, but nothing impressive. Calamari fritti should have been fried more but probably they were frozen. Then we ordered two pastas, one was a linguine ai frutti di mare and the other one linguine la nostra I believe. When the lady brings those at the table, at first sight they looked nice, but after trying the first bite I leave the plate as it was smelling so badly as the prawns were expired. I decided to try my partner s dish and same was so awful in taste as all the crustaceans seemed to have gone off and I can't even think how they didn't smell them before cooking. I tell my partner to stop eating because I didnt want him to incur in any food poisoning. We decide then to ask for boxes to take away, we pay our bill of about £67 and we leave. Of course we threw the food in the first bin we find. I was so disappointed and disgusted from the food that honestly I didn't have the courage to tell the lady that served us about the food because that would be an embarrassment for her hearing that in front of other customers and I preferred to pay the bill and go. I am italian and this restaurant has nothing to do with italian food. I don't even understand why it has an italian name. I also work in hospitality and I deal with complains also and maybe my bad was to not to complain to the restaurant on the spot. But really I didn't feel like to raise any complaint, was nothing to do about the money, all the situation just spoilt our appetite and our dinner. It is just a feedback from my side, that maybe they should be more careful with the food that they handle especially fish because it might end up very bad.

What a disappointment, booked a table for 6, 4 adults, 1 child + baby/ highchair over 1 week in advance, turned up just after opening time 5pm no other customers in the restaurant, spoke to the younger male staff member who'd we booked the end table with with, then told by the ( pompous ) manager that we couldn't have the end, bar table we'd booked then told ' well I'm the owner actually, and this table is for 8 and 'i dont remember a call to book this table'? We told him it was booked well in advance, written in their diary at the time, and we'd still like the one reserved, no movement on this but was offered a smaller table. Decided to leave the restaurant due to his poor attitude / being made to feel unwelcome as first time customers, so spent our £150 total custom at another local italian restaurant as there is plenty of choice in winchmore hill. So much for the ' friendly Italian family run restaurant' advertised on their website?

Possibly the best pizza I've ever had. Authentic garlic bread was great too.

We booked a particular end bar table for a family birthday party, 4 adults, 1 child + 1 baby/highchair over a week in advance, turned up just after 5 pm opening time and no other customers in the restaurant, advised the younger staff member we've booked the table, the told by another ( pompous) male member ' we'll I'm the manager and don't remember getting your call to book this table' advised both that it had been booked and written in the diary at the time, no movement on this after being offered a smaller table, and still requesting the one we'd booked at the time. So left and spent our total £150 total custom at another local Italian restaurant as there is good choice in winchmore hill. So much for the ' friendly Italian family welcome ' advertised on their website.

Absolutely mouth watering food. I come every week which is a 2 hour drive just to come and eat here and I always leave happy. The customer service is 10/10 never disappoints. The food arrives quick aswell. If you want Italian food la nostra is where it’s at.

Always lovely! Every time we come we feel welcome and well looked after! Food is always delicious and fresh and we’re lucky this is our local restaurant!

My son ( teenager) regularly visits this restaurant with his friends. He has always been talking highly about this place how they enjoy their food there. So I decided to book my son a surprise party there as well. I was very pleasantly surprised with the way the owners were helpful. I learned that it is a family business. The owners are very nice and pleasant people. The communication and arranging the details was excellent. They also advised me on food and drinks. The place is very comfortable and welcoming. I was very happy with they service. The food is lovely , freshly made in front of your eyes. My son had a fantastic time and his friends enjoyed themselves. Thank you to the owners for creating a wonderful atmosphere for my son and his friends. Thank you

La Nostra is a welcome from the previous place. Its a shame that the other restuarant was so poor, as you have a huge bridge to build with local trust. I realise its another business - but mud sticks. I found the staff were very friendly, although just a tip - You need to sell more, don't be afraid to offer more drinks to customers. I would easily have had another beer but no one asked me!!! The food is freshly prepared and plesant, I did feel the prices reflected the food on the menu and value for money. Keep up the good work. Revised 2022.4* I feel your better off sticking with the freshly cooked pizza. I didn't enjoy the Calimari Friti very poor but the pizzas are great.

Ordered from here 2 or 3 times, best authentic Italian pizza in the area and North London. Would totally recommend better than Domino's and Papa John's.

We came across La Nostra driving through Winchmore Hill. We were lucky to get a table as we hadn't booked, this is a friendly family run restaurant. It had a beautiful tiled pizza oven where you can see the pizzas being made & cooked. It was a lovely summers evening and it was so nice to see the large glass doors were open letting in the evening air. The restaurant is tasefully done out and has a lovely relaxing atmosphere. The food was very good and the home made Tiramasu was wonderful. We visit London twice a year staying at nearby Enfield, we will definitely be going back.

What a delightful surprise. Went with my kids on a Saturday evening and we’re lucky that we managed to get a table. This family run eatery served some of the best Italian food that we’ve had in London. The pizzas and pasta were wonderful and the lemon veal (not on the menu) was incredible. With so many small Italian restaurants in this part of town, Nostra stands head and shoulders above their neighbours.

We are regular customers and if you really want to have an amazing time , with no doubt visit this amazing family run restaurant, La Nostra . Incredible food , friendly service! I recommend it 110% . 🤗

Another great night out with friends. Great food and on it service.

Dined there last Friday with a large group (19) of friends. Arrived at 19.30. Tables had not been laid properly, just knives and forks and no wine or water glasses. I asked for tap water and this was served to to the whole group. Starters were ordered, together with carafes of wine. The wine arrived but we then had to wait for glasses to appear. Mains were then ordered and by now it was well past 20.00. Starters arrived ok but the mains didn’t appear until about 21.40! The food was good but the service was a shambles; they simply couldn’t cope with the numbers. Very disappointing.

Delicious pizzas! Being charged an extra £1.50 per pizza for a few Basil leaves wasn’t ok in my opinion. I guess it’s the discretion of the individual to charge as an extra topping for a salad leaf!

The day before london went into tier 4, I tried to book a local Italian place for the last supper pre-lockdown and luckily La Nostra had space. I googled the best Italian near me and La Nostra popped up. Despite this, we had no expectations as I hadn’t seen many photos of the food. However, this has definitely become a firm favourite now! The food was so good and the staff were very helpful. Nothing was too much, since we were being quite picky and asked to make a few changes to items on the menu (e.g my boyfriend asked for a white sauce on a tomato based special of the day and I asked for a linguine pasta on a penne amatriciana). The highlight of the whole meal was the pizza. It’s made fresh in their pizza oven located in the dining area, so you can see your pizza being made right next to you. We got the margherita as a sharer alongside our pastas (carbs 4 life) and it is definitely a steal at £8.95!

We are regular customers of Thai lovely little family run restaurant. All food is hand made and I can't fault the food. Delicious, tasty and made with love. Prices are reasonable, the restaurant is cosy and friendly and the owners are friendly and can't do enough for you. Always a delicious meal, always hospitable....it's our favourite Italian restaurant. 💕

Ordered 3 pizzas and starters.Expected delivery 7.45. Turned up at 9. Food freezing cold.They blamed it on delivery driver. Poor excuse. Paid £50 for the privilege. Won’t be ordering again. Very poor service. Even McDonalds get to you within 1/2 hour.

I went to this local restaurant to support them under the government scheme, as not been here before. The food is ok, but not the best Italian food I have had before. Service was good, but none of the staff I see were wearing masks...

A lovely little family restaurant serving delicious Italian food. The menu has all the classics and there is always an extensive specials board. We shared the Melanzane alla Parmigiana (aubergine in baked in tomato sauce) as a starter and it was possibly the best I've had outside of Italy. For mains, we had the penne with spicy Italian sausage and the linguine with king prawns from the specials board. The portions are generous without being too big, and the prawns were huge. Both the sauces were well seasoned and delicious. The white wine was also very nice. Service was fantastic, as it always is. Can't wait to come back.

Was disgusted with the takeaway order from this place which turned out to include a burnt foccacia and a burnt fiorentina pizza. When i called La Nostra, the owner admitted that the fiorentina pizza had been sent out burnt and that the foccacia was meant to be burnt or he would otherwise have to send it out raw, as if every foccacia in the world is burnt bread! Made no real effort to make amends despite purposefully sending out burnt food. Will not be visiting this place again. Shame i can't rate less than 1 star...

Service reasonable. Always worry about a relatively small restaurant having such an extensive menu.Food was acceptable but nothing to write home about .House wine was o.k.Altogether average for this type of establishment

Wonderful and friendly service. They usually close at 3pm but we called a bit earlier to book a table and they waited for us. We arrived sharp 3pm and served us as normal. We enjoyed a delicious Italian food, then gorgeous dessert that was home made. I would recommend it and I am definitely going again. The prices are not too bad and there are parking pay and display just opposite it.

Delicious food! Love the freshness of the food- you can see the pizzas being made from scratch at the back of the restaurant- a nice touch if you have kids. Friendly staff. Bit pinched for space esp if you have a pram like us. Kids portion is generous. Overall great selection of pizza and pasta dishes and classic desserts. Good wine list too. Book in advance as the tables fill up esp at weekend but will accommodate if they can if you just turn up.

Good, could not fault it, a little stuck in the 90's maybe. Pizza's are great, decor is dated but suits the traditional italian theme... would come here again. Could do a little more to accommodate kids... we were not really sure whether we were that welcome or not which is why they don't have 5 stars.

Dont usually use.take away but on this occasion very pleasantly suprised.The pizza was as good as I've had but the star of the.evening was the pasta with broccoli and.sausage. I would certainly reccomend this place
