Fantastic food, very good quality and outstanding service.

Been there 3 times and never a bad meal, great food, very well priced and great service. Nice little gem in littlehampton.

The place is small, but the welcome is good. The food is good, unfortunately the carbonara needs to be reviewed. It is NOT a real carbonara and inevitably disqualifies its quality. I would recommend anyone who is in the kitchen to take a crash course in REAL ITALIAN CUISINE.

Food and service top notch , unfortuanately I feel the venue needs some investment as the toilets with the sticky floors and stained wc let it down, Also an open kitchen should be up to date and spotless. Please don't consider this a negetive post but an honest observation . The food and service were spot on and would not be put off going again

We love this authentic resturant. We have taken friends and family there and we go there on special occasions, birthdays and aniveraries. The food is so good.

This darling little restaurant is incredible. The flavour is not compromised by large portion sizes and the prices are incredible. Visually, it’s a stunning place. It’s small and intimate, definitely great for date nights, couples or small evenings with friends. We genuinely loved our visit and would 100% return!

Typical old fashioned trattoria. Perfect garlic mushrooms, lasagne and arabiatta. Freshly cooked, very friendly. Would defo recommend.

First time visit. Ordered two plates of penne pasta, cheesy garlic bread and tiramisu. Fantastic value, large plates of pasta. Desserts were inexpensive, smaller portions. Home cooked style food, served fresh. Friendly staff. If you're going on a Saturday evening, be sure to book as it's very busy and you'll likely need a reservation. Will definitely go back.

Close your eyes, and you could be in Italy. The food is not just good, but very consistent. Good service and a nice atmosphere.

Always a warm welcome. Gets very busy most evenings so may need to book . Food always tastes good. Tiramisu is worth taking away if you can't fit in pudding.

This is the perfect little restaurant for an evening with family and friends. Our four main meals were outstanding and we cannot rave enough about how good [& different] the pizza was. A lovely place at sensible prices with excellent service.

A real gem. We decided to try somewhere different and the service and food great and prices really good. What a lovely Italian restaurant. The bruschetta was really tasty with goat's cheese and pesto. The olive, mushroom and pepper risotto deliciously creamy and thoroughly enjoyable. Will definitely be going back.

Small family run Italian restaurant, excellent quality great dishes fine wines with real atmosphere similar to a Italian small town local restaurant. Highly recommend especially the steaks garlic bread, ok , everything.

An amazing place! Would highly recommend to everyone. The portions are huge and amazingly cheap for great hot and delicious food which has never had any complaints from any of the family! It appears to be family ran and has a great authentic atmosphere with trinkets of Italy decorating the resturant.

Dinner for four. Food was superb. Service also superb. This little restaurant really is a gem. Try them for yourselves. Based on our experience, you won't be disappointed. Prices are going up everywhere of course, and eating out can be expensive. So it's ever more important to choose the restaurant carefully. We paid approx £160 for four starters, four mains (3 of them were fillet steaks), wine, drinks, 2 deserts, and coffees - given the quality of food and service, I think that's very good value. Highly recommended.

My 81st B/day meal with my wife and a lovely evening it was, The ambience is of old Italy and the music blended in well with not to heave volume. The menu was mainly Italian and the service wasvery good. It was Friday evening and reserved tables filled up quickly. An excerlent birthday e ending meal.

Nice atmosphere. Food was sub standard. The prawn cocktail was more sauce hardly any prawns. Ordered chicken with cream and white wine . Had one small piece of chicken on the plate and the so called salad consisting of lettuce and tomato was in the sauce making it soggy. Chips undercooked. Overall very dissapointing.

Staff very rude and food wasnt what we ordered then when we complained we were kicked out of the restaurant wont be going back there again they use fresh salmon not smoked but used fresh not whats on the menu

I should have warned. The menu didn't call it 'Penne all'Arrabbiata', but 'Penne arrabbiata', so the chef was clearly not Italian. The penne was really overdone, instead of 'al dente', and it was drowning in too much sauce, that tasted more as tomato ketchup (way too sweet) than as tomato sauce. It was spicy, but I wonder if this came from dried chili peppers, or just chili powder.

Really enjoyed our Italian meal out on a Monday evening when most local restaurants were closed. Two starters, pate and authentic Italian bread and salad garnish, Calzone and Salmon pasta for mains, side salad, A carafe and two glasses of wine, two coffees, all for £55. When I congratulated the chef/owner on our lovely meal he said "if you're happy, I'm happy!" Says it all.

Never been before friends booked it. Great authentic food lots of it and reasonable price .our new go to Italian. Only criticism need to have facility to tip staff on credit card ,as service was great but had no change .

Nice long established homely Italian themed restaurant. The decor is twee the service is efficient and friendly . It is popular and the most reliable restaurant in the town centre. Handy for Riverside walk to or from the expansive beach and not overly expensive

This place had been highly recommended... and rightly so! A friend and I visited on a Wednesday evening. Easy parking outside. Reasonably priced menu, delicious food, excellent side salad. I might have been tempted to a chicken dish if vegetables had been available rather than salad or chips. I had Lasagna, my friend Pizza. Served with a lovely smile.

The food is impeccable, but it would be nice to be seated on a table that we actually booked 2 days prior. We went in and found our table taken by someone else and all we received was a "sorry", but in my opinion we should have gotten at least something small, complimentary as the apology. Otherwise the staff is really nice.

My family and I have been going to Piccola for almost 15 years now, ever since I was 6 years old! Their food is so delicious and always beautifully fresh but their service and atmosphere is what keeps us going back every time we visit! The owners and all their staff are so kind, I will never stop coming to Piccola! Order the garlic bread to start and the casa nostra pizza!! delicious!!

Excellent food and service, but evening spoilt slightly by the fact I was followed outside after leaving payment and informed that we don’t take old £20 notes ( despite still being legal tender till September 22) made me feel a bit like a criminal, but nevertheless will still return

Lovely friendly little restaurant. Had amazing king prawns to start then a spinach and ricotta tortellini in mushroom sauce. Devine. My husbands pizza was huge with plenty of toppings (you can design your own from a list of toppings he had chilli beef and sweetcorn added). We shared a lovely bottled of Chianti. Excellent meal. Don't know where to start. We tried this restaurant few days ago as I heard good feedbacks as 'amazing food' etc. Let's see the positives: friendly lady answered the phone and served me later on when collected the food. Place meant to look traditional but it looks rather dusty and aged. It needs a good shake up! Now the dishes: my wife ordered chicken in tarragon and wine sauce which was alright or at least gave my a new inspiration of making tarragon sauce at home. So sauce and overall her food was OK but nothing amazing. My pizza: I'm a keen pizza lover often make it home from scratch (dough, cooked tomato sauce, etc.) you know make it as authentic as possible. And that is what I expected from this traditional Italian restaurant too. To be honest I was really excited and looked forward my pizza experience in there. So I ordered my all time favorit Quattro stagione (fore seasons). Well it was everything but 'seasons'. The toppings were right but were all mixed up and just randomly scattered on the pizza base. On fore seasons pizza the toppings meant to have their own sections (quaters) as you know the seasons.. The only positive thing about it was the tomato sauce that was nice with the hint of garlic. The pizza dough was my deepest disappointment. I expected a light, rustic, dough with air bubbles around but it more looked like the one from opposite supermarket Iceland.. Tasted alright and it wasn't oily and greasy so that's also something positive. But I guess I keep looking for the authentic pizza in the area but untill that I'll make it my own. Overall we are disappointed and don't think we're going to order from there again.

My son and I visited this restaurant whilst on holiday. The food was tasty, authentic Italian and plentiful. The service was good and we enjoyed our meal. Good value for money too.
