We tossed a coin in the street over this and Chinese, Sapori won so we headed on in, no reservation but the tall gentleman greeter said no problem and we were swiftly seated at a softly lit table with a lovely crisp white linen table cloth and shiny cutlery, drinks and starters arrived promptly, the house red merlot was fabulous, all food was flavoursome and although portion sizes were not huge and could leave some still feeling hungry, for us they were spot on, the two guys (I am assuming owners) who were front of house were so friendly and I would most certainly return

Warm welcome from willing staff. Nano and Erica kept us well fed and watered, with a minimum of fuss and discreet attention. Good choice of pastas with meat or fish dishes, salads. Simple, inexpensive wines unless you want to push the boat out. Bravo!

La Famiglia in Liverpool offers an exceptional dining experience with a distinct touch of Sardinian hospitality. From the moment we stepped in, we were welcomed by the warm and inviting atmosphere of the restaurant, which feels both cosy and authentic, reflecting the family-oriented nature of the establishment. The menu is a delightful journey through traditional Sardinian cuisine, with a variety of freshly prepared dishes. Highlights include homemade pastas, rich sauces, and beautifully presented dishes that burst with flavour. The fettucini pistachio was particularly memorable, with a creamy pistachio sauce that perfectly complemented the fresh pasta. The service was another standout feature. The staff were friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about the food they serve, creating a welcoming environment where you feel well taken care of throughout your meal. While it may be slightly on the pricier side, the quality of the food, combined with the attentive service, makes La Famiglia well worth a visit. Whether you're a fan of Italian cuisine or simply looking to enjoy something a little different, La Famiglia delivers a truly satisfying and memorable experience in the heart of Liverpool.

My absolute favourite restaurant, freshly cooked food, and beautiful wine. Such a friendly team who works and owns it. I have been going for 13 years and still my favourite restaurant my daughter also loves going and requests to go as much as me.

Fairly disappointed. Wish I’d of gone elsewhere. Food bland and expensive for what it is.. garlic mushrooms tasteless, slimy spicy chicken wings ?? In gravy.. calzone not the best and the cannelloni more like a lasagne. Salmon tagliatelle was nice but due to the salmon being smoked. There’s other local eateries which I wish I’d tried. Ciao baby is up the road and is far nicer.

Had a wonderful meal for two tonight at Don Alberto in Holmes Chapel. We’ve passed many times driving home & finally dropped in. What a fantastic surprise - Lovely interior & ambiance. Well set out with good spacing between tables. Kieron announced he was looking after us. We had a seafood linguini & chicken carbonara mains. We arrived quite late - only an hour before closing but the guys were great & all the food was beautifully cooked, so compliments to the chef. On Kieron’s recommendation I’d sampled their own micro brewery Don Alberto lager & again all good. Pristine white cloth napkins was also a big tick. Kieron looked after us really well. Nothing too much trouble. He even gave us the details of the restaurants Spotify background music. When U drop in on a place & it’s this good it makes the evening. It’s a great little find for us & we should’ve called in years ago.

We visited here with friends. We were welcomed warmly. The restaurant was quiet even for a Thursday night. The service was prompt & friendly. We had a nice shared starter between the four of us. The main courses were very nice. No complaints from anyone. The white wine we had was very nice. All in all, a nice experience.

We Had two lovely pizzas, with all the additional toppings we wanted, and a couple of glasses of delicious house red. Lovely friendly service, chilled atmosphere and at a little over £40 for the lot we would recommend this lovely little restaurant to everyone.
