The food is very good, I recommend it, it really tastes like little Italy 🙂

This Resturant must be one of the best kept secrets for miles around .The food is excellent the owner does the cooking , large mouth watering portions at reasonable prices. The staff are warm and friendly. Could not fault the place , the only downside is the parking tends to be a bit hit and miss .

I came all the way from Holmfirth West Yorkshire to meet a good friend. There were lots of customers for a Thursday, the vibe was good. The staff nice and friendly. Food excellent

This is one of my whole families favourite places to go, food service and atmosphere always exceptional the team always make you feel really welcome and relaxed and the food is phenomenal best fillet Rossini I've ever had.

First time to this restaurant and it was fabulous. We were there in a group of 8 for a special wedding anniversary, and each dish was delicious. I had the Risotto Rustico, which was to die for. Definitely, one of my favourite ever risottos. The service was brilliant and never slipped with a busy Saturday night. Special thanks to Rita the waitress.

We went to Lugana on Friday night and the food and service was amazing. I had the spaghetti gamberoni which was one of my favourite pasta dish I ever had and the price was more than reasonable. The staff was also very lovely and service was very fast. I will definitely be back!

Place is lovly , service was great however , 4 of us ordered carbonara and 4 of us sent it back as it tasted off and like copper , obviously not fresh stuff , all have been ill next morning 🤢👍

Our favourite Italian restaurant for special occasions. Every time we visit the food, service and atmosphere is always wonderful. Can never fault it, we leave happy with very full belly’s! The staff are so attentive, especially to our children who feel extremely welcome. Can’t recommend Lugana enough.

We chose Laguna to host our baby gender reveal. We had 20 guests and Laguna let us use their separate room for our special occasion. Staff were very attentive and friendly, all food arrived promptly and tasted amazing as usual!! Fabulous service and we can’t wait to come back again. A party of 47 of us went on Friday 14th July I can say that the service was excellent and the food was fantastic. I can highly recommend this restaurant there is nothing I can fault

Family party of 20 for my wife’s birthday. We were given our own tables near the windows at the back of the restaurant and my young granddaughter and niece had two tables where they could play with their Barbies. The way it was arranged, we could have our own fun without disturbing other customers at the front of the restaurant. Drinks were served promptly soon followed by the food. The staff even brought a cake through and sang happy birthday to my wife.

We have been going to Lugana for quite some time now and are never disappointed. I would recommend to anyone. Birthday meal celebrated here last night. All meals were super fresh served promptly and very nice indeed. Staff are pleasant and clearly have a good rapport . Great atmosphere and ample parking. We will definitely visit again.

Very friendly and efficient service. Food is very good and what’s more it’s reasonably priced. This restaurant hadn’t hiked its prices like so many since Covid. Children’s menu £8 for two courses . A family favourite.

Third visit for us and it never let's you down. Went for the early bird special. Excellent food, service and cost.

We have give this place loads of business in the past with all my families birthdays but this weekend was the last.we got there for 7.20 for a 7.30 table booking only 4 of us at that time to be told to wait outside or in your car because your tables not ready his words was.i have always enjoyed my food there but this weekend was terrible I just think they took to much on and couldn’t deal with it but will still take your money and service charge.i will now be looking for another restaurant to take all my family,

Love love love coming here. Never disappointed as food is always delicious. For me the portions are big so it’s not very often I can manage a dessert (which is a shame) and the set menu is particularly good value for money. Staff are always very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Already looking forward to my next visit 👍😁

Lasagna was dry as though it was frozen, microwave defrosted and grilled at the end. £2.95 small glass of coke. Music too loud and not relevant to an Italian restaurant. Had to place order 3 days in advance. Limited parking, so have to park on the street inbetween peoples driveways. They seem to have 3 buckets of base sauces used to top steaks and mix into pastas. This is why we don’t eat out anymore.

Fantastic food and service with a smile if a little slow at times. The atmosphere was great, though every other person seemed to have happy birthday sang to them, even a 50 year old... Anyway the food was superb and this alone was stand out 11 out of 10

Me and my friends were looking for a restaurant by us to have a nice meal together and came across this gem. The waiters/waitresses were all so lovely and attentive and made sure we had everything quickly and added plenty of Parmesan! The food was gorgeous really really good, super fresh and came out fast. We had the tagliatelle prosciutto, carbonara, linguine with prawns and the lobster ravioli and truly they were all lovely. To finish we had a cheesecake and a crème brûlée. Will for sure be back thankyou for hosting us 😊

Just left Lugana after 8 of us had Christmas Day meal. It was absolutely fabulous the food and service was amazing and we had a great time. I will be booking for next Christmas, thanks Lugana for making it a great day.

This is a real hidden gem not very well advertised or noticed but the food is mind blowing I actually think it's the best Italian restaurant in Manchester and the food and service is amazing

going to an Italian restaurant and paying PLN 12 for a pizza, I thought it would be better than what you can get in any other store. It's a shame to serve such pizza in an Italian restaurant.

We absolutely love this restaurant. We have family in the area and always eat here when we come back to visit from Shetland. The homemade cheesecake is amazing. Sadly tonight’s visit was tarnished when some lowlife couple came in, had a drink then vanished without paying. Real low life scum. If you ever get a chance to eat here you will not be disappointed. I dont go here often enough. However, every time I do there is one thing that stands out more than anything I experience elsewhere - and it's a real insight to a place. The gents toilet in Lugana are spotless. They are the cleanest I have ever seen anywhere. I could eat my dinner in there, they are that clean. That tells me all I need to know about the kitchen, Service is always great, food is always great and prices are great too.

Took my autistic son here with his carer's for a birthday treat,the staff was really nice and put us at ease with all his questions, the food was outstanding and very well priced,I would recommend this place to anyone.

We didn't know about this restaurant, it was recommended to us and we are so glad we decided to dine here. We had a laugh with the staff, who were all very friendly. The food was delicious and I would highly recommend this restaurant. I had Meat Cannelloni and Tiramisu, they were both delicious. We will definitely be returning.

Lovely restaurant and the staff are so friendly. They have a lovely no cheese pizza and pasta, so if, like me you you have a dairy intolerance, you can still enjoy the food. The decor is also really pretty, and there is always a great atmosphere.

All I can say is they are a restaurant you can trust as they reduced our bill for things anywhere else would not have done and we never asked for. You deserve to have success for your great food and honesty!

All round brilliant food and atmosphere

Offensive! Firstly, backed up by the high Google rating, my wife and myself walked in at around 6:27 PM and got accommodated with a table to sit on. Very quickly being asked for drink order and the drinks came very promptly. After that, received no further attention from any staff to care about the food order from our table for 20 mins. They just walked by and walked away. Then we approached a manager-like mid-age man (let’s refer him to Mr. A) to ask for food order service, and he said he had to sorted out the other two tables before he could take ours. That sounded reasonable. However, after waiting and waiting, we became confused why other staff could not came to take our order. Then we asked other passing waitresses/waitors with pens and pads in their pockets about the food ordering. Surprisingly and more confusingly, they couldn’t do it and had to grab Mr. A over. So, the conclusion upon the above feedbacks was that ONLY ONE MAN CAN TAKE FOOD ORDER IN THIS WHOLE RESTAURANT! No wonder we had to wait for ages to have some food. Finally, after 1 hour waiting at around 7:30 PM Mr. A took our order. We had 3-course dinner for both. After ordering the starters and the mains, we were trying to order the dessert together, but Mr. A insist twice on ordering the dessert after, about which we felt a bit weird but did not say anything. The food came quickly, no complaint in terms of portion and taste. However, after we finished the main course Mr. A came to collect the used plates and I asked Mr. A if we could pack up the unfinished main course and asked “can we order some dessert please?”. He turned a bit impatient and said “Ok, relax, this is a restaurant, not like a Chinese buffet (we are Asian faces) with fast food, it takes a long time to cook the food, just relax and take it easy.” Then my wife confronted him “Chinese food can take a very long time to cook, and is there any problem to ask to order dessert after we have already finished the main course?” Sarcastically, we did not complaint about the 1 hour waiting time before someone could take our food order and he would like to lecture us about his food making and dinning manners. I asked him “What do you mean by ‘not like a Chinese buffet’?” He tried to explain and said he had no offence but words lost all meaning to us at that time as he mentioned CHINESE buffets in the first instance, it felts like that ONLY CHINESE buffets, not mentioning other countries’ buffets, were the cheapest place to have food in rush. Apparently, he had a strong bias and stereotype on both Chinese people and Chinese food and subjectively presumed that we were Chinese. Following his philosophy, we were Chinese people, and we frequently dropped by Chinese buffets to only have fast Chinese food and did not have the decency to properly sit and enjoy the slowly-made fancy food in his fancy restaurant. Ironically, what he did not know was that most Chinese people do not go to Chinese buffets as they did not provide authentic Chinese food which can take days just for preparing one dish on the table and you have to reserve the dish depending on the availability when you reserve the table! Afterwards, we refused to order the desserts which WERE INCLUDED in the 3-course dinner, and a young lad came to us and tried to sort things out. He said he felt sorry for what his father had said and he would like to compensate by offering discounts on the bill and suggested us take the dessert home and he could make them himself in the kitchen in no time. No complaint about him as he came across with a very good attitude. It was just the experience that had been ruined and we were not in the mood to have any food. We refused the discounts, and the final bill showed the price of the two 3-course dinners and they took the drink price off, but we did not take the due dessert anyway. Just paid and left. Overall, it was a terrible experience, if you could not bear the slow pace to enjoy the food or you are Asian faces, avoid at all possibilities.

We've been here several times after moving to the area a couple of years ago. Every time, the food is excellent, the service is to a high standard and it's a lovely place to be. My favourite Italian! If you like authentic Italian food, this is the place for you. The mussels are amazing and they do a pasta dish named after the restaurant which is lovely.
