The best restaurants in North West

We went for afternoon tea to celebrate my parents Diamond anniversary and the atmosphere and the food was excellent, Trish Judy and Wendy what lovely people you are the service you provide is excellent and I would recommend this place has they do takeways catering sit in and the choice of food from breakfasts to coffee and cakes well I would give this try if your in and around tameside.

Lovely coffee. The food is excellent, innovative and always very fresh with the best ingredients. Sam and Max are always friendly and helpful and go out of their way to provide excellent service. Their staff are also brilliant. Our favourite place in Gatley. We have been customers for some 14 years which says it all.

Absolutely amazing place When you think what this place was set up to provide and as a social enterprise for disabled people,the service and food is as good as any other cafe If you use this eatery not only will you both enjoy the food but support a very worthwhile enterprise

My partner and I called in for lunch mid week . Angela the waitress was both attentive and polite . My partner had chips and bread and I opted for cottage pie which was delish . To follow I had lemon meringue pie . We had decaf tea also All very tasty We shall return

Good strong coffee, excellent home made cakes, service with a smile! We were made to feel welcome, and took another cake home with us.

A really great find! Pizzas are excellent, the staff are so friendly and the place is really cosy. This will be our go to place when we're in Kendal.

A gluten free , vegan BLT . Wow - delicious and has to be one of the best GF , Vegan sandwiches I’ve had . So difficult to find gluten and vegan free food that’s well prepared - this was amazing Very impressed.

Visitamos Manchester ayer para el Año Nuevo Lunar y de repente nos dimos cuenta de que era bastante tarde y estábamos hambrientos. Caminamos a Mackie Mayors, pero fue embestido, así que nos fuimos a buscar hambrientamente un restaurante en otro lugar. En algún lugar que nuestro hijo preadolescente aprobaría, pero tampoco lo sería, terrible para nosotros, ya que somos veganos y hemos estado arruinando las visitas a restaurantes familiares durante algún tiempo. Llenando el Barrio Norte de energía negativa hambrienta, marchamos más allá de un letrero de pizarra que apuntaba por una calle lateral a Wholesome Junkies. Una búsqueda rápida en Google confirmó que era un restaurante vegano, muy por el dudoso interés de nuestro hijo. Saltaré hasta el final: ahora es nuestro nuevo restaurante favorito en Manchester. Todo nuestro. De hecho, tengo un poco de miedo (¿irracionalmente?) de que se cierre y no podamos volver. El lugar es subterráneo acogedor, hay carteles para varios eventos conscientes que tienen lugar - si viviera en la ciudad estaría interesado en probar algunos. El menú es de hamburguesas, lados y platos principales de inspiración asiática, un enorme menú de bebidas no alcohólicas. Mi hijo tenía la Hamburguesa Clásica, yo fui por la Hamburguesa de Trufa. Mi marido probó el caldo de arroz al curry amarillo. No juzgues, pero también tuvimos Char Sui Bao, Beefless Rolls, Korean Poppers y Cheesy Masala Fries. Mi hijo dijo que su Classic Cheeseburger era la mejor hamburguesa que había probado. Esto es un gran elogio, de hecho, no es vegano y tiene un amplio conocimiento y experiencia en esta categoría. Mi hamburguesa de trufa incluía rellenos de lujo más aros de cebolla que siempre son un plus. El restaurante indio más delicioso y asequible de la ciudad. No hay palabras para explicar lo buenos que son los platos en el restaurante Green Chillies. Mi favorita de todos los tiempos es la Biryana de Pollo. Tan aromático y tan bellamente hecho. Confía en mí en este restaurante.

Great little find. Very tasty food,lovely service,nothing is too much

Afternoon tea was bought by a friend who previously dined here. The venue is small & Afternoon tea must be prebooked by a minimum 1 hour. The selection of sandwiches was enough for all tastes. On booking through the Facebook pagei was asked about dietary requirements. The service by the owner (I think) was relaxed but attentive. The food was delicious The cost, very much value for money. I would highly recommend the place without any doubt.

Seen this dippy on tour trail lead us to the cafe for lunch after a bit pricey but over all just enough to satisfy our appetite long wait to be served perhaps ? Still enjoyed the day
