Kimi's Gelato Bar in South Lakeland

We visited Kimi’s today and couldn’t recommend it enough, Gelato was delicious (I would definitely recommend the chocolate and honeycomb but all looked delicious). The lady behind the counter was so friendly and was really kind to our Labrador. Thank you! Would love to visit again for another ice cream when we are next in the area.

Unbelievably yummy Different flavours every time I go in And a great range of inspirational flavours. It’s a definite must visit Reasonable prices as well Superb well done 👏

Actually had their ice cream at Lowther Castle - and it was amazing! Among the best we’ve had. We had the berry sorbet, rum & raisin and blueberry & lemon. All delicious. Will definitely visit the ice cream shop on future day trips.

Some of the best gelato in the UK we think. No Lake District holiday is complete without a visit. There are plenty of lovely walking routes in the area too.

Fantastic service by staff and amazing flavours on offer. Reminded us of our recent trip to Italy and the gelato we had there. Recommend the honey and toast flavour!

First time visiting Kimi’s Gelato shop and it certainly won’t be the last. The ice cream is amazingly good. We had, cherry bakewell, lemon meringue, raspberry ripple and vanilla. The lemon was particularly scrumptious but I would have to try the other tempting flavours to be sure it was the best. The shop was staffed by two lovely, friendly and welcoming ladies. This is now on our list of ‘must do’ when we are in the area.

We always make a point of visiting when we're in staveley. Delicious gelato, great range of flavours and gluten free cones too!

What a delight! Very small (no indoor seating except a couple of chairs) and only around 12 flavours available at any one time but boy were they good. I had the Vegan chocolate and the Bakewell Tart flavours and would have taken some home had I not had a 4 hr journey home. They do take home by the way so worth asking if you're local or staying nearby. I noticed that this week about half the flavours seemed to be aimed at Easter and children so a little too sweet for my taste (e.g. cream egg flavour) but they told us they change the flavours regularly. Wish I was around longer to try some but will definitely come back next time I am in the area.

Amazing range of excellent gelato flavours. Made in the village. Lovely vendor / owner. Expect a bit of a wait for service as so popular and limited opening times.

We had seen them featured on a Channel 4 show and we had to visit. So glad we did. The proprietor was lovely and took time to chat to my sister and I. I had a delicious gelato pancakes, blueberries and white chocolate I think was the last ingredient but I was captured by the first 2 :-). My sister had orange and mango. I cannot recommend highly enough. We will definitely be paying a return visit in the future

Whilst in Staveley in Lake District I was taken to Kimis Gelato Shop. Very small you wouldn’t notice it was there. I had lemon meringue and rhubarb and custard. It was so delicious and tasted just like the real thing. Superb. Definitely if you are in the area do not miss this gem of Italy in Staveley.

Turkish delight ice cream ! Who'd have thought it ? But it worked. No wonder people come from far & wide. The man who produces it also serves most days and is genuinely lovely.

We almost stumbled upon this delightful little shop as we finished part of the Dales Way walk in Staveley. It’s at the end of a block, next to the church and the modest signage means that it’s easy to miss. There were 12 different flavours...

On Stavely High St, this small independent shop has several varieties and we got to try 4 over two days ! Well worth the £2.75 fro a cone. Go enjoy !

Really good, tasty ice cream. Even the kids loved it. I had the raspberry and pavlova despite not being a fan of meringue but the meringue wasn't over powering. The kids had mint choc chip, chocolate and caramel. All equally as good. Fresh, wholesome ingredients....
