Queens Cafe in Blackpool

Had a fantastic coffee and cake at this little cafe. Friendly staff with quick service. What a lovely atmosphere

We visited this wonderful small cafe twice now, always before catching a train as it is a stone throw from the station. With such a wide range of options and spotless and has a warm welcome. (The first time we also used their daytime luggage holding service which was luckily how we got to find this place. Very useful address to know also for that). Just from looking at the cakes display you know you will have to come back to try more, which we did. If I lived in Blackpool I would certainly pay a visit to try the roast and all other savoury dishes as there is more to discover at lunchtimes from the teasing menu. There is no doubt a lot of attention and care given to what is cooked by the Chef. Obvious by tasting it, seeing it in other guests' plates and also by talking to the owners. Depending on what time you come, any craving will be catered for, mine was sweet both times, so I will vouch for the deliciousness of the cakes, almond plum cake slice first time, Victoria sponge today. I will dream of that perfectly creamy sweet Chantilly tonight. Wonderful. The 2 owners are very friendly chatty and have a great memory too. It is a place we will always pop in when visiting Blackpool. I hope to try the chips on my next visit as they looked scrumptiously homemade. It was lovely to hear how this cafe took shape and indeed how it is out of passion for what they do. A very important ingredient indeed!

What a superb cafe this is. This cafe was recommended by the hotel owners where we were staying which was only across the road. We were met with a warm friendly smile, the service was great and it was lovely and spotlessly clean. We choose from the menu and we didn’t have to wait long before it was served to us on our table. We enjoyed it that much that we went back a couple of days later and I had a Sunday roast dinner and the mrs had Lasagne. Both meals were superb and the prices were really good for what you got. As for the puddings OMG they looked stunning. On both occasions we had to treat ourselves with a cake. We also asked for some take out sandwiches and they were prepared for us for when we left. We highly recommend this cafe. Situated just up the road from Blackpool north train station and across the road from Pride Lodge hotel who recommended this cafe to us. The food in this place is exquisite , the presentation is second to none. The taste is so pleasing it makes you want more and more. The story behind the cafe is also incredible, A couple who decided to embark on a project after they retired, have now built a successful business. The skill of the chef is unquestionable, the front of house staff are absolutely lovely, always service with a smile. Thank you Chris and Steve I hope to see you both very soon Best Wishes Robert

I was advised by my guest house to try the Queens if I got up late ! Wow- what a lovely place......v friendly uber clean and serving lovely food I arrived about 1000 and a huge homemade Victoria sponge (covered) was on the counter top-SO tempting-and I was there for breakfast.!! The cake section was mouth watering anyway-and all homemade People were popping in and out - clearly locals as well as weekenders so a very good sign of a top quality place Don't miss it-will be back for sure when I am in town next

Great food and friendly place. Had several meals, lunch, breakfast, coffee and cake. Always served cheerfully, use regularly. Only one small gripe; find tinned tomatoes revolting - why use these when it’s so simple to use fresh? Spoiling the ship for an ha’porth if tar?

Fantastic home cooked food at very reasonable prices highly reccommended. The cakes have to be eaten to be believed and everything reasonably priced brilliant cafe cant reccommend highly enough

Top quality food and service,this is a little gem and you won’t be disappointed.We had a fab breakfast on Saturday,food superb as usual,and the fresh orange 🍊 juice complimented the food perfectly,thanks guys 😘

Well if you haven't been here yet you are definitely missing something. This is a very small cafe but it certainly delivers. It's run by two fantastic welcoming guys and you can get breakfasts, lunches, sandwiches or just have a coffee and cake. The food is all freshly prepared and to an extremely high standard so compliments to the chef. It's just near to the Railway Station and the gay area but caters for everyone. Please if you're in Blackpool and want somewhere to dine give it a go.

We have been working in the area this week and what a hidden Gem this is. Wholesome home cooked food. The venue is very classy, immaculately clean and very very welcoming. The food is beautiful ... especially the home cooked chips and desserts. The service is top class with people who care and are passionate about their business. Would highly recommend:)

Been using Queens Cafe many times this week whilst staying over the road at Pride Lodge. The food has been super everytime I've been for both Breakfasts, Lunches and just for a soy latte. Everything is cooked fresh to order and the place is spotlessly clean. Chris and Steve who run the place are a lovely couple who were so friendly to everyone be it the locals who know how great the place is, or the strangers coming through after getting off trains, all were welcome. I'll be back next time I'm in Blackpool for sure.

introduced to Queens Café by Keith and Tony of Pride Lodge. Menu excellent with choices you would not normally see. All at reasonable prices Food well presented with desserts to die for. Service excellent and friendly. Deserves to do well.

We ate here earlier on today, 3 adults and 4 children.. owners very welcoming... great homemade food and also homemade cakes to die for!!! Left feeling very full ... returning tomorrow for the sunday roast!!

Perfect cafe so close to Blackpool north station, lovely owners, we left our luggage there while we went onto Stanley Park, only £2 a case, we then went back to the cafe on the way home and had tea and cake and also bought 2...
