Thought I would try this place whilst in the town centre as I haven't seen a bad review yet. Wow. It didn't let me down. Great breakfast, friendly staff, everything was bang on. Even the cutlery was immaculate and the pot of tea was a decent brand by the taste of it. Had the classic breakfast and couldn't quite finish it. Well impressed 😊

First time in here, and what an experience. Very friendly and helpful staff. I tried the Breakfast In A Pan, it comes served in a skillet. What a breakfast. Everything cooked perfectly, and proper butchers sausages too. Absolutely 1st class. Will definitely come again. Well worth 5 stars. Best breakfast I've EVER had ♥️😋

We went to the compass cafe this morning for breakfast, whilst we were visiting Blackpool. We had a breakfast stacker each, which came with a hot drink and our little one had a construct your own breakfast. The food was absolutely gorgeous, high quality ingredients, nice and hot and proces were really reasonable. We will definitely be back when we're next in Blackpool. Thanks guys

At first it was good, The prices were rather inflated. And the portions were small, for the price I'd have expected at least double. It felt like I was being charged as an adult and fed as a child. The service started off good until they threw out my dogs gourmet treats, I called, and called and called and was ignored, I went back to speak to someone about this because I was jot happy that they did it and that I tried to call about it and they laughed at me and told me they don't answer the phone. The not answering the phone is a red flag as what do they do with bills and deliveries? Do they even pay the bills? But the laughing at me was disgusting and humiliating in front of other customers.

Just been in Blackpool with my mum for three days and we went to the cafe for lunch every day.The food was delicious and all the staff were so lovely and made you feel very welcome. Definitely be visiting again next time we're in Blackpool.

Used to love tis little coffee bar, but its a while since we went in. Just wanted a decaf Americano coffee with hot milk...Had to leave it as it was atrocious, just not drinkable...God knows what coffee they were using. Such a shame... Told the girl on the counter, paid and left. We will not be going back

Not sure how you mess up two simples toasties with the incorrect bread to start with and ignore the request for no salad on 1 order but expect your customers pay before the food arrives is ridiculous. The only reason it wasn't sent back and cancelled is because my other half doesn't like making a fuss. Personally I would have completely cancelled the order and requested a refund. If you expect your customers to pay for the food prior to receiving it, that food should be delivered as ordered. Won't be returning.

Went here after seeing it had 5 star reviews and it didn’t disappoint. Service was friendly and welcoming and the food was excellent. Some prices could be questionable but guess it’s similar around the area although portion size was decent for what we ordered. Would happily return next time we’re in the area.

First time I have been into this cafe. Has the breakfast and to be honest I have had better, the toast or rather warm bread had basically been teased by the toaster and came with a very very light tan. For a couple of quid more I could have got a better hot breakfast across the road at another cafe. Sorry but I won't be back.

Quality Fresh ingredients cooked and presented perfectly by friendly staff. Great location with outdoor seating. Very high standards in every way which are appreciated.

We love the compass cafe. The food is great (also good portion size) The staff were very helpful and we have never had to wait for long. Good beer and wine. Normal, Veggy and vegan food to a really good standard. Centre of town. Defo go and visit you won't regret it. Thanks we will see you again.

Amazing food and very friendly staff, good kids menu too. We went for breakfast and it made for a great start to the day. You can park at a close multistory carpark for £4.5 for 2hrs and that’s plenty of time to have a feed and go for a walk on the pier as well.

Best English breakfast in Blackpool. If I could give an extra star for serving it in a cast iron pan, believe me I would. Good food, friendly service and central location. Keep up the good work.

Great wee place, run professionally and efficiently. Many other places could learn from them. Food great usual town prices but not overly expensive. Only recommendation, better larger free range eggs, would be more tasty

I can honestly say, this was the best full English I've ever eaten. The sausages especially were absolutely unreal! This will be our 'go to' breakfast spot when visiting Blackpool from now on. Service was great, very friendly, sauces were Heinz and HP and mocha was lovely too. Go hungry! You will not need to eat again until tea time!

The compass cafe was recommended to us by a few people, The staff were brilliant very friendly and welcoming..I went for The breakfast in a frying pan The food was perfectly cooked and very tasty, The only two downsides for me are it may need a slightly bigger pan so you have room to move the food round and The pan should be warmed before putting the food in this may already happen but my pan was cold...

Unfortunately through no fault of their own my experience was ruined by the "young farmers". A rough count of approximately 15 sat outside caused a backlog for everyone else. The lady serving was pleasant enough but had to wait for between 20-25 minutes for the food to arrive. The food itself looked fantastic (I ordered the full English) but the sausage was average and the bacon was brittle. Would I go back?... Yes, I believe that the staff were put in a exceptionally difficult situation and are definitely worth another visit.i I wish to apologise to the staff as I wish I could of been more positive.

Excellent breakfast , nicely presented, clean and well presented cafe bar, in the centre of town. Staff very pleasant and welcoming. I found the presenting of the bill and an expectation of payment before the food is even served odd. This is usually presented at the end once the meal has been eaten, not with the coffee.? This did not detract from the nice breakfast.

Absolutely lovely breakfast. I ordered the pan breakfast and what a treat it was. The meat was cooked really well and not over done. Black pudding was crispy and soft, fluffy in the centre. Will defiantly be back again. I’ve had 2 mochas already and don’t want to leave because there so good.

Thus is the best place to go for a superb breakfast. Staff are very helpful and friendly. The food is scrumptious and plentiful. Good prices too.

What a great little find this cafe was, the breakfast was scrumptious and if there was something on the breakfast you didn't want they were happy to change it for something of your choice, the staff were lovely and very attentive, wheelchair friendly entrance, highly recommend this place and I'll certainly go again a great find

I took my family of 4 out for breakfast. My brother who works away in America always meets up with his mates here when coming home to Blackpool so thought we'd try it when my daughter was home from uni. We all had different meals - all excellent. My daughter wanted a variation of what was on the menu, this wasn't a problem for them. Friendly staff, we all really enjoyed it. Will definitely visit again. Thanks to Compass Cafe.

The staff are so friendly. We had breakfast in a pan and I had the kids breakfast. The food was so nice. It was the nicest fry up I've had in a very long time. We travelled from South shore where we are staying to try it. It is well worth the extra walk/tram.

There are alot of places to eat in Blackpool, this was recommended to me and it was so nice. The full English was perfect very well presented, not the only food they served the BLT I could see coming out of the kitchen and muffins looked delicious. The pricing is great for what you get the place is nice and clean and the staff was lovely. Beer on tap if you fancy a pint with your lunch.

Thought I would try the Compass Cafe after seeing a review on You Tube by the Macmaster and local vlogger walk on the wild side. Unfortunately after a night in the casino I couldn't quite fit the breakfast in a pan in. But the ones I saw looked fantastic. Both me and my girlfriend had the normal breakfast. What can I say. Best sausages ever. The fried bread melted in the mouth. It was definitely an 11/10. Its literally a stone throw from the promenade. If you are in Blackpool, forget Wetherspoons and head to the Compass Cafe.

Was forgotten about after being seated.. Rushed my food out. Soggy raw hash browns. No check back done. Felt like I was being avoided. Manager was not on site. When messaged the manager no offer of refund or fresh food was made, just a half hearted apology and told they would ask the staff to see what happened... Won't be back again. Mistakes happen but as a customer I shouldn't have to pay for yours! A shame really because I enjoyed this cafe on previous visits..

l'd seen reviews about the frying-pan breakfast at the Compass Cafe, so I wanted to try it, even though I knew I wouldn't be able to eat it all. It's a lot of food: great value for £10.50 or so plus a tea. I remember 2 fried eggs on fried bread; 2 massive sausages; wads of bacon; hash browns; mushrooms; 2 toast; a pot of beans; and a pot of tinned tomatoes. I ate it all except the last 3 items and one sausage. The quality was top notch. They even managed to serve the eggs runny as well. And a proper pot of tea. This wasn't a Joe's cafe breakfast (for that go to Cookies, or Pitstop). It was the real deal. Kudos!

We recently visited Blackpool for an overnight stay and needed to find somewhere for a Vegan breakfast on the Sunday morning. This cafe is an absolute gem of a find. The staff were really friendly and helpful, the cafe is bright, welcoming and very clean and the food was excellent. Great value for money, central location and if we lived closer would visit every weekend! Thank you.

I came here a few months ago and there wasn't a table for us. On Wednesday I made sure we got there early....and we got one. Our breakfasts were superb, nothing too much trouble, friendly, prompt, smiley staff. Will definately be back, our new Blackpool breakfast Cafe. Thank you for the hash browns😉xx

I usually go here with my daughter when she's home. Today I went with my husband and elderly mother. As usual, food fresh and delicious, service exemplary, staff and atmosphere warm and friendly. All at a very reasonable price and with a fabulous range of vegetarian options. Best café in Blackpool by far.

Came across this cafe , Outside signage is quite reserved. Inside nice and clean. Very good service. We had toasted teacakes and drinks. Impressed that they offered Non dairy spread for the teacake( they need to put this on the menu). All Day Breakfast was served to the table behind us which looked really good. We visit Blackpool quite regularly so will be back.

We travelled yesterday morning from Manchester to have breakfast, based on the reviews. My fella had full English and I had the vegan. Avocado perfectly ripe, lovely proper grainy bread, toasted, tasty veggie sausage and the choice of fresh or tinned tomatoes 🍅 beans, mushrooms and hash bown. Service was efficient and with a smile. Thoroughly recommend going...and if there's a queue and you have to wait, well worth it 🙂

Called in for a takeaway bacon sandwich and didn't particularly like the ambience and layout of the place. Staff were polite and butty was just ok,not bad,not great. It's a greasy spoon cafe,no more,no less. Won't bother again.

By far the best cafe breakfast I've had in a long time. I'm fussy when it comes to sausages and eggs and how they are cooked. These were perfect for me and not greasy at all compared to others. Highly recommended.

Chose this place after reading a few FB reviews .... It is run very efficiently, as soon as we walked in we were greeted and then shown to a table. The menu was good with plenty of choice for everyone I had a sausage sandwich was ok ... Bit burned on the ends ... But ok and my other half had the breakfast which he really enjoyed. I ordered a flat white, I got a white coffee, wouldn't have called it a flat white as it was way too milky, It was quite nice here, I'm a coffee fan so it didn't quite do it for me but my other half really enjoyed it
