Lovely avacado and poached egg o. Toast with a soya mocha. My vegan friend had the vegan breakfast who stated it was ‘ace’. Staff were so warm, welcoming and friendly. You order, drinks arrive and pay before your food arrives. Honestly they have it nailed. No waiting in cues or filling the corridor to pay.

This is an absolutely fantastic place, served one of the best cups of coffee I've ever had. It is a place I wish I could keep in time in memorial

Hard to believe this quality of coffee and food is available in Blackpool! As an avowed meat-eater I’ve no complaints about this delicious all vegetarian menu. And the coffee is exceptional. I read after our visit? That two of the three founders will be off on a new adventure in rhetoric new year. Hopeful that int change the offering for the worse, it’s a gem in the Fylde.

Coffee was amazing :) I had both a hand brewed v60 filter and a batch brew after to take away. Both coffees were fantastic. My partner and Son had the s’mores brownie which they both loved! We were greeted on arrival by a lovely lady on the till who was really nice and accommodating (sorry I didn’t get names) and the man making the coffee who also was able to describe the tea choices to my partner and had to clean up my son’s brownie crumbs at the end. ( Sorry again! ) All in all was a delightful experience quality products and service would definitely be a regular if I was local to the area!

What a find! A stunning cafe filled with plants (temptingly for sale) and winter sunshine (today). My pastrami style seitan on homemade foccacia was a revelation. Leaf Earl Grey tea was also ace. The specials change each day as the chef obviously likes to surprise us.

Always pop in for a coffee when visiting Blackpool. The coffee is always perfect. The staff are super friendly and welcoming and they do delicious food and bakes.

This was my first visit. The food was excellent and the service was amazing. I didn’t drink the coffee but my friend said it was first class. Also the place has a really nice vibe, all the plants give it an amazing feel too. The only issue I have is there just wasn’t enough food, we actually ate at another cafe 2 hours later.

Absolutely delicious food served alongside great coffee. The service is incredible and you leave feeling you have really treated yourself while supporting a good local business.

I did not expect to get a good espresso in Blackpool but Upside Down Coffee has turned my opinion of Blackpool upside down. The espresso was great, properly brewed delicious berry and chocolate notes. The food was also great, health veg heavy brunch. The world needs more Upside Down Coffee!

Easily the best coffee shop in Blackpool. It isn't even close. One thing I look for in coffee shops is whether they do non-espresso coffee, such as pour-over or AeroPress. Not because that's what I always order, but because I know that if they do them then they're serious about coffee. Coffee is fantastic, but one thing I wasn't anticipating is the quality of the food. Absolutely outstanding, these guys could enter a sandwich championship (breakfast bun was insane). If everyone made vegan & vegetarian meals like this I'm pretty sure the meat consumption worldwide would plummet dramatically.

Simply the best coffee I have had. Real care is given to preparation and service. The food was lovely too again made with real care and attention. Would highly recommend.

Well this specialty coffee house was a lovely surprise, and in Blackpool too! This is the type of coffee house you find in a large city centre. The waitress brought us a lovely cold bottle of water whilst we perused the understated menu. Told us the cake / tart specials served extremely delicious coffee, explaining where what type and what I expect the taste. Overall a fantastic visit to a really special, not corporate coffee house. A must visit. See you again

What an amazing find, a lovely warm welcome. The coffee and tea are lovely and the food absolutely beautiful. There is only a small choice but that didn’t matter to us as we would have eaten anything we n the menu, it all sounded great. We were not disappointed with our choices, all fresh, tasty and cooked to perfection. We will be back!

Found my little Utopia in Blackpool. A gorgeous experience from start to finish. The coffee was simply divine, I had a flat white but I suspect all drinks would be gorgeous. You can feel the attention to detail from conscious produce selection to the beaut decor with plants and exposed brick. What an incredible addition to Blackpool. Will definitely be back x

What a lovely little surprise to find this place. We needed some lunch before heading back to Manchester and with prior good reviews we gave this a go. A nice friendly welcome when we walked in and such a lovely interior full of plants. All of our food was prepared fresh by the chef at the back who was clearly very happy in his work. Everything was delicious! The coffee was the best I’ve had in Blackpool. The lemon sponge was also lovely and moist. We even bought one of the cool plants on sale ☺️ I highly recommend this place

We were in Blackpool for Rebellion festival and went through their entire menu, and every single dish was delicious. The vegan feta is to die for, and we loved the coffee and cakes too. On top, the staff is super lovely!

I had a vegan kebab that was described as flavour bomb. A totally accurate description as it was bursting with an assortment of flavour and was refreshing and fulfilling. I didn't read the coffee menu and had an Americano that was a bit strong, in caffeine, for me, as it was a double shot; nice taste though. I've been coming to Blackpool for quite a few years and as a vegan always found it difficult. Upside Down is exactly what the town needs. I loved the rustic feel of the place surrounded by plants. I strongly recommend this place even if you aren't vegan or veggie.

Excellent coffee, cosy atmosphere and warm service. The short but cheffy menu makes food an intimidating prospect for non veggie customers. Adding a few simple crowd pleasers - scrambled egg on toast, smashed avocado or a Turkish breakfast would make this a perfect chill breakfast choice.

Cool, cozy, great v60, great espresso, great breakfast. We were surprised that the place had free tables as it was best rated speciality coffee place in Blackpool. Absolute hidden gem not far from all the buzz in the town. Feels as if the place doesn’t really fit here with the town’s overall atmosphere to be honest. 10/10. An absolute need for all coffee lovers.

I've just had possibly the best huevos rancheros i've ever had. Supplemented with an oat milk latte. This is such a cosy and comfortable coffee shop which seems to be a hidden gem surrounded by your typical 'Full English' cafe's that Blackpool tends to offer.

The only place for coffee in Blackpool. If you love your coffee and you live in, or are visiting Blackpool, then this is the only place to be. Certainly the best and quite possible the only decent coffee in town! They take their coffee seriously here, single origin producing either espresso drinks or brews. The tea and chocolate is good too, up to 85% cacao. The food is vegetarian and vegan, excellently conceived, cooked and presented, all very tasty. The staff are welcoming, friendly and helpful, the décor and ambiance funky and relaxed. We look forward to our visits to Upside Down each week and always measure coffee shops around the country by their very high standards. Looking forward to our next visit already!

This cafe is just so lovely. We were made to feel very welcome. We came with our dog and there is even a pooch gallery on the way to the toilet! She was given water without us even needing to ask. We came to Blackpool for an 80th birthday. When I saw the cafe also sold plants, that was perfect and avoided ruining a plant on our journey. The quality of plants is wonderful and good value. We had the tasting flight which is batch brew, a shot of espresso and a small flat white. The qualities of the coffee and what to look out for was explained. What a fabulous idea! We took some coffee away with us too,so we could keep on tasting it! I had the vegan version on the huevos rancheros twice; one on each day. It was up there in my top 3 breakfasts of all time I'd say and I am 59, so have consumed many! The choice of food is great with specials on the board too. Thanks, I will be back!

The BEST place in Blackpool, if not the UK for a coffee. Their Latte is the most smooth and refined coffee I have ever tasted...in fact it's that good, I never put sugar any in it. Pair your Latte with their baked Cheesecake, and it's a absolute treat. I've introduced several friends to the Latte & Cheesecake pairing - and they all agree it's the best Latte & Cheesecake they have ever tasted. Well done guys, keep up the good work 5 Stars all the way

My Wife and I recently tried this Cafe, Vegan based menu, very different, but extremely tasty and delicious. We are not Vegans, but we fancied a change and we wasn't disappointed. Give it a go.

This cafe is definitely a hidden gem in old rusty Blackpool My amateur barista bf has already gave his 5-star review on Map but I feel like I need do another one Tried two diff pull-overs and both made to perfection Cosy quite environment and very thoughtfully , feminine products provided for free in the clean, well maintained toilet.

Excellent veggie/vegan cafe. We called in for coffee and cake and ended up having lunch here. They have a small but appealing menu, daily specials and very good cakes. We both had pav bhaji, a creamy potato curry with a bread roll. Loads of flavour and very morish. I then had the Basque cheesecake which was one of the most delightful things I've eaten, with a flat white coffee. OH had a vegan cinnamon swirl with oolong tea. Equally good. It's a small place, with loads of plants and a cool vibe. We'll definitely be back!

The doorway is flat and there is no step, so a wheelchair could enter. However, there are two steep steps to the bathroom.

Vegetarian cafe with great coffee. Limited food menu but it was delicious. Cafe is decorated with plants. Quiet when we visited, managed to get a table quickly. Manager/owner is super friendly and knowledgeable about the coffee they serve. Upside down meant to symbolise the unusual approach they take with a cafe.

Fantastic gem of a cafe in Blackpool. The food was delicious , if you are not vegetarian, just try it !!! The staff were extremely friendly ..My daughter is coeliac and vegan and they could not have been more helpful. I finished my meal with hot chocolate brownie … best I’ve ever had xx We will definitely be going back xx

This is a wonderful little cafe situated behind the market. They always have a good selection of freshly made veg*n cakes and sweet breads. They consistently make great tasting coffee and I highly recommend this cafe to all who enjoy good coffee and delicious food and cakes. I highly recommend their freshly made cinnamon buns, vegan of course, with their excellent lattes.

Every time I come to Blackpool, this is where I come for lunch. The menu stays seasonal and fresh (soups in winter, open wraps/kebabs in summer), and everything I order is delectable. The drinks menu boasts a range of superior coffees and teas, that comes with an informed knowledge from the host about the drink in question. Finally, the reception and service is warm, friendly and compliments a tranquil environment.

The food here is amazing. Not much more to say.

Stopped by for coffee and the last s'mores brownie, both were awesome. Beautifully relaxed atmosphere and a carefully curated decor of fun stuff and foliage. I'll be back to try the rest of the menu next time I'm in town. ❤️

The only place in Blackpool that takes coffee seriously, a really unique experience in this town and really pushes the boundaries with its food offering too. A must have brew and brunch in you are in the town and like a good quality brew! Top spot for veggies too. Friendly and passionate staff.

First coffee I've tasted in Blackpool and I already know it's the best anywhere within 100 miles! We tried the Huevos Rancheros breakfast and it was very delicious. A few other tasty looking options on the menu as well which we will definitely try next time. The atmosphere is also great with lots of plants everywhere, most of which are for sale. Lovely place with incredible coffee and delicious food, definitely recommend this place for everyone.

I’ve been here twice with friends! The food is incredible, the atmosphere is very chilled, and the staff are lovely. Resh helped me pick out a plant (still thriving after a year!) and recommended drink and food options. As a gluten-free vegetarian, I am really restricted in where I can eat, but Upside Down has huge options and they are willing to accommodate where possible. Dog friendly!

We have visited this cafe a few times now and we have found the staff are great. Even remembered that I have decaf and nit too strong, which I find amazing considering how many people visit this cafe. We usually have coffee and a cake. They only have a small number of cakes but they are very nice, hence the reason we return. Recently ordered a main, which was lovely. Will definitely be visiting again and again.

A stunning gem hidden around the corner from the busyness of the town centre like a peaceful retreat. Lovely layout and interior surrounded by plants sets for a relaxing and cozy experience. Staff were attentive at all times, as well as friendly and helpful. It's clear that honest, open and ethical values are at the core of the entire business operation which is something still rather uncommon, so this place really sticks out. The menu, whilst small, is adequate and is explanatory into every detail, even about the company which provides them with the great tasting coffee and the people behind it all. Such an amazing place with great values and people behind it, and the coffee is just as good too. Can't wait to return soon to enjoy it all over again, and even pick up a plant for sale. Update: Went back the day after to try the food and it was delicious too!

The best coffee in Blackpool, delicious cakes and initially I missed that they do amazing vegan food too! If I’m back in Blackpool anytime soon I’ll be back here every day!
