The best restaurants serving Italian food in North West

From when we arrived it all felt very rushed. Starters no sooner finished than main course arrived. Starter was calamari which was as chewy as a car tyre. Lobster ravioli arrived and 8 pieces of ravioli and that was it husband was still hungry when we left. Very noisy. Have been before and enjoyed it but wouldn't rush back after this experience

Great atmosphere, good selection of beer. Food also looked good, will be back to try it.

We had a very enjoyable eve at this gem of a restaurant. So very welcoming. The food was delicious and Mario even made a dish we remembered from way back. We would unreservedly Highly recommended. 💕

Honestly, been visiting Rudy's now for 8 years since the Ancoats early days... It never disappoints. Chorlton's branch is cosy and pleasant. The staff are friendly and attentive. The food is amazing. You simply won't get better pizza Please don't change.

Second time visiting (both times before Manchester Marathon) and didn't disappoint Service was very prompt, but not rushed. Did was great and just had a relaxing and pleasurable experience

Met friends for dinner this evening. Absolutely awful, not a patch on what it used to be. The waiter was beyond rude - seemed to think he was doing us a great favour. No understanding at all of customer service. We waited 45 mins before getting our first drink. If we had been on our own we would certainly have got up and left. Food was well below average. Will never go back. Avoid. There are so many better places to spend your hard earned cash.

Tuvimos una noche encantadora en Buccelli's. Hemos comido en muchos restaurantes italianos a lo largo de los años y encontramos el estilo striptease - espalda para ser auténtico y refrescante. Nuestros platos fueron la ensalada caprese y bruschetta de hongos para empezar; luego carbonara y pasta de salchichas toscanas para la red; luego pan de cannolo y panettone - y - pudín de mantequilla para el postre. Para las bebidas, comenzamos con un cóctel Negroni (excelente) y una cerveza, luego vinos por copa y un digestif para terminar. Era viernes por la noche y la mayoría de las mesas estaban ocupadas. El personal era amable y eficiente - no hay largas esperas, pero nunca nos sentimos apresurados. Nuestra única crítica (menor) es que los especiales ya estaban agotados, lo que parecía extraño dada nuestra mesa relativamente temprana. Sin duda volveríamos a visitar - y también recomendaría a cualquiera que valora la calidad sobre la cantidad.

Home cooked delicious food, generous portions and friendly staff

Pre ordered our food 6 hours before we came, got there and was completely mistreated as we’re not fasting. Why take the order and say it will be ready? We left with empty bellies as we felt insulted…

The worst pizza in Manchester. We ordered pepperoni pizza with extra pepperoni for additional £2. And we received this joke!

Awful from start to finish. Young girl waitress jumper covering hands and pink crocs on. All drinks from bottles and cans! Poor olives. Waited far too long for god awful dishes. Seafood risotto was chewy and inedible. Cannelloni meat tasted like dog meat. I'm going to guess frozen, reheated in the microwave which we saw, then in oven to make like lava. Mondello should not call himself a chef serving the nonsense we just saw. I hope people read this and stick to an actual Italian.

Pizza and calzone were really good. Staff really polite and helpful. Cannot fault. Would definitely come again 👌🏻. Wine was very good too.

THE best Pizza in the area, bar none. We know our Pizza, we have had them all from far and wide. Serrano’s is right up there - the best I’ve had in this country, the delivery drivers are superb. We are quite remote and to say the food has travelled, it is always fresh and delicious. A huge thank you and well done, you are the best.
