A last minute meal out, when you are there you wouldn’t think it is in Hyde, the staff are welcoming and friendly, the food is lovely and good portion size.

Husbands Birthday. There were 12 of us and we had a great meal. Staff were very friendly and attentive. We loved it so much we have booked for Christmas Eve.

We enjoyed our meal s here particularly the chicken pate , tomato garlic bread and the lobster ravioli The profiteroles were a bit heavy. Really friendly staff and good atmosphere

An excellent dining experience. The food is tasty and plentiful and the menu is comprehensive. A good selection of wines and the pricing is very competitive. The staff are well informed, courteous and attentive and the overall atmosphere is one of lighthearted conviviality.

Fine Italian cuisine. Enjoyed the Early Bird menu. Generous portions and absolutely delicious. Why not visit this little gem of a restaurant.

Had an excellent meal today. The food was great, as was the service. I had the lobster ravioli and my wife had the lasagne, both dishes were very good. I would definitely recommend eating in Pagliacci.

Excellent food as always. A warm and friendly welcome and outstanding service. Very good wine. Amazing garlic bread! Very generous portions too. As a steak lover I have been to many, many steak restaurants in Manchester and in other countries and can say hand on heart their fillet steak is the best I’ve ever eaten. I’ve also tried a lot of their pasta dishes and their arabiatta is my favourite. The ravioli is very good. The bruschetta pomodoro is delicious (and very generous) and my husband likes their pate. Delicious food, wonderful atmosphere and a very reasonable price. Sometimes they have live music on special occasions and it’s always magical. The effort they go to on Valentine’s Day gives the perfect ambiance for couples and often comes with a glass of Prosecco! It’s family run and you can tell they work well together. My favourite place for a romantic evening.

Pagliacci is my new favorite spot! The atmosphere is super chill and the staff is super friendly. The pizza I had was amazing—perfectly crispy crust and loaded with toppings.

We came here for my mum’s birthday a few days ago and I can’t fault a thing! The food was amazing, the staff were attentive, and they even brought out a dessert at the end to sing happy birthday! They allowed us to decorate the table with balloons and banners! There were 12 of us in total and everyone was happy - it was the most perfect night!♥️

On Father’s Day, I had the distinct pleasure of dining at Pagliacci Restaurant, and it was an experience that exceeded all expectations. Despite the festive Father’s Day crowd, the layout allowed for a comfortable and intimate dining experience, making us feel like honored guests. Our culinary journey began with a selection of appetizers that set the tone for an extraordinary meal. The Antipasto Platter was a standout, featuring an array of cured meats, and olives that delighted the palate. The Arancini, golden-fried risotto balls, were crispy on the outside and perfectly creamy inside, paired with a tangy tomato sauce. For the main course, I chose the Lobster Ravioli. The Lobster Ravioli was divine, with delicate pasta pockets filled with rich, succulent lobster and bathed in a luxurious tomato cream sauce. The service at Pagliacci was impeccable. Our waiter was attentive and personable, despite the busy evening, making sure that our dining experience was flawless. Her recommendations were spot-on, and she exhibited a genuine passion for the restaurant's offerings. To conclude our meal, we indulged in the Tiramisu and lotus biscoff Cheesecake. The Tiramisu was light and airy and the cheesecake was just delicious. Pagliacci Restaurant provided an unforgettable Father’s Day dining experience. The combination of outstanding food, exceptional service, and a cozy yet elegant atmosphere makes it a must-visit for anyone seeking authentic Italian cuisine. After having a good experience a couple of weeks ago, we booked for 5 people on Father’s Day, The starters were fine, but 2 of the main courses were poor, Chicken Crema was tough and after complaining nothing was done, still charged full price and told us nobody else had complained about the chicken today. I therefore didn’t bother complaining about the Fillet Stroganoff which was 95% mushrooms and 5% Steak, Poor for a dish over £21. We went with the intention of booking a Christmas booking for 10 [£700]. That won’t happen. Our bill was £220 today for 5 people. You would think they would look after this type of customer

Went with St Marys Church minister & family for Mothers Day. i live in Haughton Green and this is the BEST italian i have been to in Hyde-Haughton Green area. i grew up in Germany and the service & portions were that of EU service standard. Impecable! Absolute wonderful food & Aglio Olio was amazing. Will defintely use again. eccellente!!

Myself and my husband and 2 friends ate here on 24th February and we were all very disappointed. My husband had a fillet steak that he couldn’t cut with a knife! My friend had muscles and over half of them were closed, I had salmon with prawns in a white wine sauce and couldn’t find a prawn. The 2 worst of the meals were deducted from the bill but the staff didn’t seem in the least concerned that we’d had an awful experience. Once we complained I think they just wanted rid of us. Needless to say we most definitely won’t be going again!!!!

Visited with friends on Sunday as they highlighly recommended it. Upon arrival greeted and seated quickly by a friendly waitress. We ordered off the two course menu for £18.95. I had the creamy mushrooms and cabrese pizza. Both were really nice and the pizza was huge! For a family of four with starters for the adults, I'd say you're looking at around £80-£100

Are go to Italian and best local restaurant within the area and better than the chain Italians in Manchester town centre, highly recommend, Liam & Ruth

Great service, atmosphere and lovely food.

Our favourite Italian restaurant. They even delivered to two separate houses in two separate towns at the same time to enable us to eat together over teams during lockdown. Excellent service and quality of food. Never a disappointment.

Food lovely!! My issue was the service, and the absolute arrogance of the staff. Granted it was busy, the waiter came over picked up the wine bottle saw there was some in it put it down and walked off. So rude, either he wanted another purchased or he wanted me gone! We was waiting on desserts at this point. They want you in and out. Won't be returning for this reason. Rushed atmosphere, staff watching tables and this let the experience down. Spent £120 + in 60 minutes- feel robbed!

Do not miss this place! It's a gem where the atmosphere and the staff can get any nicer and the food is beautifully made.

Booked a table for 6 as we was meeting family who lived down south and we don't see them often. Decided to book here as we have been a few times and always enjoyed it. however unfortunately this time wasn't so good. meatball starter was £9.95 for three small meatballs and a quite watery tomato sauce mixed starter consisting of deep fried breaded whitebait squid and a king prawn was quite expensive at £9.95. the ribs however looked good and nice bbq sauce. the lasagne looked like it was microwaved I could be wrong but that's how it looked. the chicken and mushroom linguini was quite bland in flavour and appearance. the cannelloni was good and plenty of it and piping hot. and the seafood linguini was also good but nothing special. the calzone lacked filling and was only just baked. the tomato sauce however was really good the staff however was spot on and it was busy with a good atmosphere. The starters was quite expensive for what you got portion wise. doubt we will be back which is a shame our total bill was just shy of £200

Again, another evening with fabulous food and excellent service. We absolutely love this place I can't recommend it enough. We always try something new and there isn't a meal I wouldn't recommend.

All good apart from they wouldn't let us pay individually. Had to work our own bills at the end then slapped on a service charge with even telling us beforehand. It didn't turn out fair the service charge on my part as they take a percentage of the meal in total, I was the only one single so I has to pay over the odds as every other person were couples.

Good service staff friendly, not cheap. Food was OK but not as good as I had hoped.

What an absolutely brilliant night we all had for my husband’s 60th birthday. I booked back in June as the booking was for 18 people & it was also a Saturday night when I know the Pagliacci is always busy. From the beginning Ardit was so, so helpful & nothing was a problem, whatever I asked he said “of course”. It was a surprise for my husband, as he thought it was just the family we were out with. The meal, the atmosphere, the staff, absolutely everything was perfect, it all went to plan & the Pagliacci deserve so much praise for this . It is a beautiful restaurant, that we regularly visit & we are never disappointed 😊🇮🇹

Tried, tested, never fails! We go here so much! We love it, a proper italian. Decor is very Italian unlike a lot of the other Italians in the area that are very minimalist. The early bird menu is a steal The portions are great, so much seafood in the risotto and prawns the size of your fist with the Gamberoni starter. As I say we go regularly so the photos I attach are from various trips. The staff are super friendly, cannot recommend enough and not a bad word to say! Keep doing what you're doing

Gorgeous food served in this restaurant, authentic Italian with a traditional atmosphere made you feel like you were in Italy. Beautiful young waiter served us and was amazing all night! Very professional and would definitely be eating here and and recommending!

This was our first visit after many recommendations of friends, and we were so overwhelmed as soon as walked into the restaurant, all the staff were immaculately presented and immediately very attentive. This place is OK for Italian, but sometimes lacks consistency and can be hit and miss with the food quality. Its our most local Italian so we still will go in.

Family run, family oriented , great atmosphere, never rushed and never forgotten. Great food and service lovely staff. Have been going since 2020 when my son and daughter moved to the tameside area. Can't fault. Cheers.

Absolutely outstanding food and delightful staff. A real pleasure to be there. The staff were responsive to all ours needs. Eight of us plus a three month old baby. A birthday celebration to remember.

Food was exceptional, beautiful presentation .But what made that place stand out was the waiting staff who was the friendliest I've experienced. The vibe they create is one of ease and welcoming that makes this a real family affair.

Ordered the ribs for a starter. Practically no meat on them. Consisted of only fat, gristle and bone. Informed the waiter who showed it to the manager. The manager totally ignored the complaint and us! We were still charged the full price of £9. Needless to say we won’t be returning!

Visited here for my daughters birthday on 24th March. Been regular customers to the Pagliacci for a very long time and never had any issues. Food and service is always good. There was 10 people within our group and as imagined the bill was not cheap. This obviously was not the issue entirely. First of all, it took almost 40 minutes between courses and one meal came out long after everyone else's. All the pasta and rissoto dishes were served but the main chicken dish came 10 minutes after. Despite asking where it was. Our table was booked at 5.30pm and we didn't leave until gone 8pm. We had children with us who understandably got impatient. When we got the bill we had been over charged by a significant amount. We made a slight complaint about having to wait nearly 50 minutes altogether for the main meal. Also question the bill. Instead of simply fixing the problem the manager was very abrupt and rude. Saying I had to deal with having to wait it's a busy restaurant. So I accepted that but then said the food should come out all together and not when ever it's ready. He then argued this. I did not expect anything other than maybe a genuine apology or a small gesture to redeem themselves. Instead I just got a bad attitude and now I will not be going back.

Superb food, authentic atmosphere and great staff.

This was our second visit to this Italian Restaurant. We chose it to celebrate our 14 th anniversary and we were not disappointed. After the Bruchetta,I had Fillet Steak Stroganoff which was delicious . We finished off with the Tiramisu. Friendly and attentive service, highly recommended.

Absolutely disgusted in this place despite 2 phone calls we were assured there was wheelchair access. We travelled by 2 buses and we got there and couldn't get in. Sorry was the answer but my answer his we are going to take thus further as you are discrimating against a disabled person

I would like to say a massive thank you to all the staff that made our sons 18th birthday so special from walking through the door on Saturday 28th January, 1 of the party was gluten free and was so amazed the choices she had and how helpful the staff was, the food was amazing everyone had good reviews definitely go here in the future for Italian meal out .
