I went with a friend, it was the first time I have been there, the service was excellent, the people nice and courteous, the food was delicious 😋. I would recommend it to anyone. My friend paid the bill so I couldn't say how much it cost. It was however a lovely treat.

Just a perfect meal, amazing attentive staff, nothing too much trouble and the food was gorgeous. Very busy when we visited on a Friday night. I had the Chicken Papadelle with Pine nuts and brandy, superb 👌🏻, all our meals were just spot on. Would recommend to anyone who wants to eat classy Italian food served by professional and attentive staff.

Absolutely top-drawer. The staff and chefs at Pinocchio never fail to impress whenever we visit. We were here for my wife’s birthday meal, the restaurant was quite busy for a Monday night, and we were given a good table near the window downstairs. We all had Calamari to start which was lovely, and the mains were fantastic too. I opted for the Rack of Lamb off the specials board which was delicious, my daughter had the Gamberoni, in which the king prawns were cooked to perfection, and my wife had Monkfish, which she loved. The staff are always pleasant and attentive and we always leave here saying how nice it was. Good to see a local independent Italian restaurant doing so well.

I had my surprise 30th yesterday well what can I say. Rude manager, rude staff made us all feel uncomfortable. I would never return again. staff need training on customer service management is poor. very disappointing

Celebrating our grandson's 12th birthday and our son's new job. Great food and good value. The only minus was a 30th birthday party who behaved like idiots and will probably leave a bad review as they left early but this is no reflection on the restaurant.

Went for a birthday meal for the first time after many recommendations. Everything was amazing - service and food was five star. Only issue was a group who were loud and rude. The owner eventually asked them to leave. Wasn't his fault and didn't put me off. They can't help how other people act. Definitely recommend and the ribs and fillet steak were unreal!! I had a rib eye steak in tomato based sauce to die for. Was off the specials menu, which is a shame

Second visit. We had a great time, staff are friendly and service is fast and efficient given how busy it is. The food is delicious. The garlic bread pizza starters are a must. For mains we had monkfish and fillet Dolcelatte both delicious. Tiramasu desserts were big portions. Next time we will share one. This is our new fav place.

This is about the 4th-5th time I’ve been here, never once had a bad experience, on arriving I’m always greeted with smiles and hellos, service is extremely good, a relaxed yet professional service, the drinks are always fantastic. I’ve eaten a different meal each time I visited, from pasta/ pizza to steaks, and every time I’ve enjoyed the meal so much, myself and my partner the same. You get the feeling that it’s a family run business that care about giving great customer service and delicious food and drinks,

The food is amazing and as a group we have been here several times. However on the last few occasions we have found the staff upstairs to be rude, bossy and hurried. One waitress in particular is very forceful and brusque in her manner. So as a group we have decided it's time to go elsewhere. We will miss the food but not the rude upstairs staff.

Had a fantastic Sirloin steak in peppercorn sauce, cooked to perfection. Starter was also delicious, home made potato and leek soup . This was about our 4th visit, never displappoints each time , we will certainly be returning.

Excellent... yummy. Classy. Italian... we pass by during a trip to Manchester and was highly surprised. We were actually lucky to have place. Sadly we live pretty far but if you live or pass by manchester and/or around. Don't miss this place. Highly recommend 👌

The best Italian food in Manchester! We have been going to this amazing restaurant for years now and the food is excellent. The staff are so kind and welcoming and the service is impeccable. No waiting for drinks or food and they go above and beyond to make everything your evening special. Even when we go as a large group we always get served at the same time, We have meat eaters and vegans in our family and the separate vegan menu is fantastic, you don't feel like an afterthought which is nice. I believe the steaks are to die for! If you want gorgeous food at a very reasonable price then I highly recommend them. I haven't found any restaurant in the whole of Manchester that serves more delicious food!

New Years Eve - we had an excellent meal and the service was brilliant. We had various starters including mussels, meat balls & soup (we made a mistake and didn't realise the mussels were cooked with chilli which mum can't eat but we were very pleased that the dish was replaced with one cooked without chilli with no fuss and speedily served). We had the fillet steaks and sea bass, all cooked perfectly to everyone's request and finished off with wonderful sweets and can highly recommend the tiramisu and creme brulee. Even though it was very busy the service was great and welcoming. We weren't rushed when we asked for a break. All in all a 5 star experience and the very best start to our New Years Eve celebrations - thanks to all the staff and chefs, your efforts were very much appreciated.

Okay food, nice atmosphere. The only complaint is that they didn't brulé my creme brulé. It had lots of crunchy sugar on top but was not heated to form a sugar crust, which is the point of a brulé.🙃

Can't fault them. In fact i just loved the experience. We booked in advance as a group and then needed to increase to an odd number but there was no issue at all. Greeted on arrival and everything was great. The service was perfect. We loved our main server, feel bad for not getting her name but she was completely in control, knowledgeable, very clear and responsive with a discreet sense of humour. We felt valued and looked after. The food was delicious. Two of us in the party are vegan and the the main reason we chose pinochios was they have a vegan menu. No guessing and no need to ask what was plant based. All other staff were equally attentive and its clear they all take huge pride in maintaining a level of service that's above par. This is a gem of a restaurant and that they're still here, in Ashton, having grown from the smaller venue they started with, is testament to the quality. Please don't ever leave the town. We will return (but might hold off on the shots next time!) Thanks to everyone and see you soon.

It was a private party amazing staff and food. We were unsure we could park outside with a blue badge due to no loading signs, it was a Sunday.

At a midweek dinner for 28, the service was on time, and efficient, despite other tables being busy, especially as we did not order in advance. Excellent pizzas at a reasonable price (I had calzone). Interesting, tasty starters. Friendly, professional team.

We came hear for a family meal ...its safe to say the woman with blonde hair isn't child friendly she was absolutely arrogant and hates the kids been in her restaurant.. however the food was OK of you a cheap Italian mean I've had better tho ..

An absolute gem of a place. Great food, great service and right in the centre of Ashton under Lyne. A handy car park near the Witchwood, although some surrounding streets have free parking from 6pm. There’s a very reasonable early bird menu but their regular menu is very reasonable. My advice is that you book as it gets very busy every night of the week. There’s a decent Vegan/vegetarian selection and the restaurant is easily accessible for those with mobility issues. Go along, you won’t be disappointed.

We had a family meal for seven on a busy Sunday. Very friendly staff, table ready on time. The choice of food was varied with lots of choice. Some of the staff had steak which they said was the best ever had. The same can be said for the ribs which was my choice. Let's be honest, pasta dishes are the same pretty much at all restaurants but they were as good as any other. Service quick and knowledgeable.

Absolultley excellent as always. Went for dinner with the family on Saturday night, All the food is truly excellent, every dish is spot on, every time we go. Cannot fault it in any way. at all. The staff are so nice and friendly, serivice professional and precise. Love this place, will be back in a month or so. Gets busy so you need to book.

Christmas Dinner Always a lovely meal here at christmas Lunch time it was I'm not so sure if they still open for lunch according to Web site it says 5 pm open time which isn't suitable for me nowadays futher to the last time I was here I love the decorations and Christmas crackers candles and all the trimmings tgat make it special Its an Italian set menu but with a twist very nice well recommended.

We have visited on a number of occasions and have always had a good experience. On this occasion we visited with our daughter, husband and young granddaughter. The staff were very helpful and were keen to attend to our every need. The food was prompt with very generous portions as well delicious. We even managed to fill a James up which is usually impossible. Four starters, four mains, garlic pizza, children's pizza, bottle of wine and drinks came in at under £180. Considering flavour and portion size this was very reasonable.

Excellent meal and wine, great early bird offer. Will definitely go again.

Incredible food and tastes to tickle your taste buds, lovely atmosphere and friendly helpful staff, we had a 3 course meal for 2 and price came to £58 but was with a bottle of red wine so very competitive with other upmarket restaurants, can't recommend enough and we will definitely be going back for seconds.

Right now I am in a delightful food coma after visiting this gem of an Italian restaurant in the heart of Ashton Under Lyne. Tonight 10 of us dined here. From the moment I made the booking for my family till we ate our absolute fill & left the restaurant- the staff have been nothing short of wonderful. Upon entering, we were shown to our table by friendly & courteous staff. We ordered drinks & our starters and mains. I had the chicken liver pate for my starter ( much to my family’s dismay as they aren’t fond of it). Though it looked like chocolate mousse & jam to everyone else, I happily tucked into my delicious starter which was followed by a scrumptious flat pasta main with goats cheese & mushrooms in a creamy sauce. Everyone at my tabled loved their food. The pace was perfect, every dish was hot not to mention tasty & everyone’s food arrived together. The staff were super attentive & gave us halal options - the chicken is halal. They also made sure there was no alcohol in any of our orders. What I absolutely loved was that each of our requests were accommodated in a professional & efficient manner - even when we asked if there was somewhere to pray after our meal. We were given a designated space which was hugely appreciated by us. Desserts & hot drinks followed. Again the staff members let us know which ones might contain alcohol. By the time we finished we were very happy & content. It is definitely a restaurant we will be returning to & though my waist line might not thank me for it, I will happily eat my carbs here on a treat day knowing each mouthful is worth the wait! A really lovely experience ~ thank you to all your brilliant staff especially the ones working tonight & hats off to the chef!

Great venue. Staff are professional although I have found 1 of the female waiters to be a blunt and unfriendly. Food is lovely, the mains especially. Didn't think the tiramsu was very nice and I've had nicer from a supermarket. Overall it is good value, always busy.

Working in ashton with a colleague from down south, decided to book for tea. Had no expectations of the place as never been before and don't know Ashton. We were so impressed, fantastic staff, 👏 lovely environment and amazing food. We had a lovely evening and will be returning next time we are working in area.

I don't normally do Italian but have to keep the Mrs happy from time to time ,im honestly sold now the food was absolutely amazing friendly staff great atmosphere,£163 with starters mains for 4 ,bottle of red and 6 spice rums .not bad at all in my book

Our first visit and definitely won't be our last. From entering the restaurant we were made to feel very welcome. The ambiance here is very welcoming and relaxing. We arrived early but were shown to our table straight away. Bonus was Danny we knew him from way back and he made us feel so welcome and recommended drinks for us. The pinot grigio was top notch and a really good choice. Starters were calamari and goats cheese in filo pastry. Food heaven. Really tasty. Mains spaghetti carbonara and rigatoni with fillet steak. Wow absolutely amazing. The best carbonara my hubby has tasted. Rigatoni was a new dish for me and I wasn't disappointed. Cooked to perfection and really tasty. Dessert we had creme bruleè the bonus of it turning up flaming was so bloody amazing. Tasted absolutely gorgeous. Drinks - Bottle of Pinot Grigio- really nice. Lovely fruity fresh flavour and crisp and fresh. Peroni on draft. Danny made us Ameretto sours for our anniversary. These were amazing. I tell you Danny is a fabulous cocktail connoisseur. We also had amaerrro shots. Limencello shots at the end of the evening on the house. If you haven't tried this restaurant you must. Fantastic all round.

Best kept secret in Greater Manchester. Lovely restaurant, great friendly staff. Food was excellent. Had arancini balls to start, followed by crab and prawn pasta. So good. Wine was more than excellent,. Had what they described as a Baby Amarone. Awesome and well priced. Always busy here so ensure you book.

Nice restaurant and good food, overpriced a bit for the area for what it is (but i do get prices etc have risen). Big let down with it is the noise when its busy. Its gets so loud its hard to have your own conversations and the tables or so close to each other there is nowhere to put in barriers or breakers that would help with noise. Better options if willing to travel further afield but not saying this in a bad way for this place. I would go again.
