ad to ask for them back to use. Food portions are a little smaller but the food was ok/nice. What really left me feeling disappointed is that I asked to purchase several gift vouchers for family for meals as Xmas gifts, the waitress seemed really pleased with this and said she would send the manager over to sort this, only for her to come back and to be told I had to pay for them by cash? I'm not sure if this is the norm or what could be a valid reason for this, but I didn't have nearly £300 in cash on me. Suffice to say they lost out on a nearly £300 purchase because they wouldn't take a card payment.

Just visited the restaurant with my wife and daughter off the cuff,I had the Italian minestrone soup,my wife and daughter shared a garlic bread with cheese(they even made the a bbq dip for them on request)for starters,the mains we all had the fillet steak(all medium)with various sauces and spinach sides and I’ve got to say we all agreed it was one of the best steaks we’ve had in good while and we often have steak when out for food(honestly perfection)I’m the only one with eyes bigger than my belly and had the light and fluffy lemon cheesecake which hit the spot,lovely decor,lovely,efficient staff and absolute value for money in our opinion(will definitely return for the Sunday menu next💯)

Lovely restaurant, nice layout and more spacious than others. We went out for father's day, and the portions were generous and service was good. The fillet steak for my husband was lovely , the veal was huge and tasted great for my daughter, and the garlic bread is so tasty. However, my salad was disappointing! It was listed as "spicy chicken and roast peppers"...but the spice was far too picante on the chicken, and actually it wasn't listed in that way!! (Maybe a "chilli rating" on it would be an idea!) And there was only a handful of strips of peppers The prices are really good, compared to other places, since covid/pandemic, where everything has doubled!! (£6-£8 for decent sized starters and £4-£5 for desserts, etc), overall a good experience!

One of the best pizzas I've ever had. Lovely internal decor. Beautifully presented pizzas tasting as good as they looked. Would advise they provide child size pizzas too but having said that, both the older grandkids made a good go of it anyway. Smaller children should share a pizza. Pizza Margarita for the kids, pizza Pollo for the older grandson, pizza Picante, Regina, all great. The pizza Prosciutto E Aragula looked amazing and tasted as good. Service good. Highly recommended.

My rating is based on overall experience, if I was only rating the food then I would have given full ratings as the food was superb, cooked to perfection and everyone in our party rated their meal highly. On arrival was being asked what we wanted to drink before we’d even sat down, one waiter really miserable and looked so fed up and never smiled once!! The rest of the staff very nice but completely overbearing, constantly watching and mithering, every time we swallowed a mouthful of wine they ran over to top our glasses up!! It wasn’t a relaxing or enjoyable experience, had to ask to be left the n peace!! Felt policed and watched, even listening to conversations as I mentioned something related to the meal and immediately a member of staff was responding?? I wasn’t speaking to the staff and didn’t need their response. Disappointing and couldn’t wait to go, shame as food excellent

had a family meal here for 4 , we did ring and book just to make sure of a table, we all had starters, the cheese and tomato garlic bread is very tasty !! everybody enjoyed their mains and washed down with a few drinks made a great night out, will go again soon.

We visited Antonio's on recommendation of friends. Booking was easy and on arrival we were greeted and shown to our table. The restaurant is bright and well decorated. Being Christmas we decided on the three course festive menu. Perhaps this was the wrong choice and we should have opted for a traditional italian dish. (We will when we next visit). The festive meal is absolutely average, nothing special at all and for what it is perhaps over priced. During our service the person looking after us changed. The person who welcomed us and took our order was polite cheerful and we believe cared about the service. Our new waiter (perhaps having a bad day, as this happens) was less attentive, appearing to be going through the motions. In honesty he appeared as if he didn't want to be at work. A shame as this reflects on the experience of those to who they are providing customer service for. For us on this occasion it wasn't a special experience or one we would recommend. We will however visit again in the new year and try the italian cuisine.

We booked for our daughters 30th birthday meal, there was 12 of us all being served at the same time, food was hot and delicious. We were also able to book wine and food earlier in the week which made every thing so much easier. We couldn’t fault the service and the welcome we received was amazing. The table looked so pretty and nothing was to much trouble. All our guests have said they can’t wait to go back.

I had pizza and husband had pasta. Both meals were fabulous. The pizza was so light and not stodgy my husband pinched a couple of slices!. Waiters were very pleasant and very informative (told us about preparation of pizza dough and cooking). Well done to all the staff, we will definately be coming back soon.

Well where can I start? Everything from the food to the service was exceptional. With a special shout out to Joseph who's customer service skills are phenomenal. 10/10 would revisit and recommend

We were a party of six, initially the waiters were attentive. However one of the main courses didn’t arrive ( she waited 15 minutes for it to finally arrive) by which time most of us had eaten ours. We were told the iPad hadn’t put the order through, we understood this but the waiter was quite hostile and kept saying it’s no ones fault. No one apologised, they offered her a free drink twice. We had two bottles of wine on the table so she didn’t want a drink, the manger was quite hostile and gave us the wrong bill twice. The bill arrived stating there was no service charge added, however BEWARE of the bill share amount stated it contains a 20% service charge. The food was good when it arrived the customer service was terrible. We won’t go again we were made to feel so uncomfortable.

We really enjoyed our meal here. The service was great, the restaurant has a nice atmosphere and the food was excellent. We would definitely return.

Went as a family and friends group for first time today for our Granddaughter's Christening. Brilliant food and service, highly recommended.

Experienced customer service that I've never come across before anywhere. The head waiter/manager would not stop talking aggressively when we brought an issue to his attention. We were sat in the top corner of the restaurant and the surrounding tables were empty. He accused me of demanding his attention that disrupted the rest of the restaurant. For 5 minutes he spoke at me and did not let me explain the issue, nor did he ask how I hoped it could be resolved. I did , talking over the top of him, ask for another portion of what I'd ordered. He went away and returned still ranting and his voice started to rise. My friend, the gentlest of souls, told him he was being aggressive, his body language was aggressive and his accusations of our behaviour were wrong. His reaction was he was tired. At this point I told him I didn't want the food , just the bill. We've been many times here, as have family and friends, we've all overlooked the guy's terse approach as the quality of food made it worthwhile. We selected here to celebrate my son's 18th last autumn before tiers and lockdown intervened. I left hungry and disappointed, it's such a shame to experience this.

Lovely afternoon meal with my husband, staff are so friendly and knowledgeable of the food menu , nice hot food, excellent service, wish I took some cash to give the hard working staff a tip, but will know for next time .Only thing of a small suggestion is that they have a dress code at lunch time, a few customers turned up in shorts and flip flops, and another customer sat at his table with his hoody on ! Maybe smart casual- no shorts, flip flops, hoodies etc? It’s such a beautiful restaurant, staff and food is amazing Thank you to you all for a great lunch , we will be back.

We were sceptical about going there from long time as we go to gym opposite, almost every day. If you like Italian food, you have got to try it. Specially the new addition squid ink pasta. Calamari was done just perfect with a light batter.I ordered risotto which very fresh and tasted good but I was comparing it to risotto to Gustos. I was indifferent with risotto but with Calamari & then come the big guns out, Lemon cello liquor creme brule, I almost fell in love with this dessert.Good social distancing measures in place. Staff is very nice & food is awesome. We shall come back. I do want to try Sunday brunch menu too, looked very appealing.

We went to Antonio’s as a family last night to celebrate an 18th birthday. The food was excellent, as always, atmosphere was lovely and relaxed, and the staff went above and beyond to make a special night memorable. Thank you to you and all your staff! We came here for a late lunch after a massage in Ashton. We had booked and received a warm welcome. We had a A choice of tables offered to us and chose one in a booth.Because we are both dieting we decided that we would like a salad and the waiter was accommodating when we changed the menu somewhere and asked for two salads that were not illustrated. Being vegetarian / pescatarian the only main meal salad contained meat. A vegan menu would have been great as we often look for these too. We were looked after as the staff were attentive and there was a nice atmosphere in this restaurant.For a desert we would’ve liked some fresh fruit and there was none on the menu. When we asked if we could perhaps just have melon or strawberries we were told they had no fruit in the kitchen. Nice restaurant though, give it a try.

Stopped by for a quick dinner and was very impressed. One of the best Vitello Milanese I’ve ever had. Menebrea beer on draught. Charming and efficient service. Will definitely be back again to try some other dishes.

What a lovely experience and beautiful food at Antonio’s, it’s the best Italian that I’ve had! I went on Sunday with family for my birthday and the staff made it such a nice experience. The quality of the food is exceptional and what really does it for me is the ambiance of the restaurant. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble, they cater for your needs and special requests. The prawn and chilli starter is amazing and the pizzas are the best I’ve had. I had the beef Sunday roast this time with the best Yorkshire puddings ever! Try it you won’t be disappointed!

I visited here with my partner and his daughter and I can’t rave about this place enough. The staff were brilliant really friendly and great with my partners daughter she made her own pizza which she thoroughly enjoyed. The food was fantastic I managed to eat my entire pizza and even squeezed in a slice of chocolate fudge cake, honestly I cannot recommend this place enough. Extremely clean as well, I shall be visiting again very soon !

My wife and I booked an early afternoon lunch and was greeted by a nice warm smile upon arrival and the option to sit outside in the sunshine made it like sitting in Italy.The service was prompt and polite with the food absolutely beautiful. It was also a really nice surprise that the restaurant also continued the Eat out, to Stay out offer.Cant recommend Antonios's enough for nice food, great service and that little feeling of Italy :)

Tuesday evening and during extended Eat out/Help out but no complaints. Booked through messenger. Arrived a little early but great service and welcome. Food very nice. Teeny bit rushed in between courses. Lovely little birthday treat dessert. Glass of wine ridiculously expensive though 8 quid when half a carafe 9 quid. Be back for sure.

cam here after hearing they were carrying on the 50 % off,. the place was quite busy an the staff were attentive and tables were distanced.my friend did comment that when handing menus out we hadn't seen them cleaned and out of 4 or 5 staff none seemed to be wearing any masks or visors, that's at their own risk? but they did have hand sanitizer available only a couple of metres awayanyhow there was quite a variety on the menu, we decided to try the garlic bread, which came as a flat pizza shape , which was nice but bit more garlic would be nice.I then had Pollo Antonio's - Pan Fried Chicken Breast cooked with Garlic, Chilli, Sun Dried Tomatoes in a Wine, Cream and Parmesan Sauce, this was tasty and worth the discounted price but seems high for normal price.I would come here again as I have heard good stories and it seemed popular.

We went to Antonio’s for my sons 13 th birthday with family . The food and service was above excellent , wasn’t sure what to expect with Covid but measures are in place to make you feel at ease and comfortable , the restaurant is very clean and spacious with plenty of hand sanitiser to use , what more could you ask for , Thanks again for a fantastic evening we will be back soon xx

No social distancing for starters, and wow don’t get me started on this right, 3 bloody quid for a water wow what a joke

There was no social distancing and no track and trace and it was packed. It was very full and we had to wait an hour for our starters. One of us had calamari and spaghetti bolognese and one had soup and a pizza. All declared delicious. I had veggie risotto which was very salty, it was too salty for me but it would have been just right for my husband so that’s just personal taste. We hadn’t been in for a couple of years and the decor had changed.The upstairs bar is lovely but the downstairs restaurant had something of a canteen about it. The staff were absolutely lovely with impeccable serving skills.

Went for a family scran for my sisters birthday. Food was decent tbf no complaints to be had there. It even made you feel like u wasn’t in the middle of ashton - obviously until u look out the window and see the 216 razzing it past Ikea. Only issue i had was when ordering a coke it took 3-5 working days to come, otherwise was quality.

No social distancing at all,did not notice any sanitiser or indeed any safeguarding measures in place within the restaurant,and only one waiter had a face covering, very disconcerting-the young somewhat inexperienced manager although being very polite didn't have the knowledge how to run the restaurant(even though it was not very busy whilst we were there). Sent main meals back twice our waiter was extremely rude and aggressive when we put our valid complaints to him about the appalling food and dirty beer glass- and came up close within our personal space to communicate that everything was "Good"A couple more tables also had various complaints for the managers attention apparently he had to disappear into the kitchen and did not emerge whilst we were still there.We were also told by our waiter not to discuss the awful and unpleasant meal with the table next to ours,who also wanted to communicate with the manager as possibly he did not want any other diners to listen and probably concur.We paid our bill came home and had toasted crumpets with cheese on top.So much for our first Saturday night out for months.Plenty of pizzeria in surrounding area to favorJust wondering if it has changed management/owners as we have been patrons for many a year,and it used to be first class,with exceptional food,attentive service along with the perfect ambience.I do hope you take notice and act accordingly.

Following a long wait the food arrived cold. The Risotto was watery and the chicken was rubbery. The fillet steak pasta arrived luke warm. It was reheated but was completely tasteless. The waiting staff and manager were completely dismissive of our complaints. We ordered a shandy which tasted of washing up liquid.We ate here often when it was Puccini’s and never had any complaints as the food and service were first class.Will definitely not return. Extremely disappointing.

We went out for super Saturday for the pizza and bottomless prosecco for two hours. Staff are fabulous and couldn't do enough for you. The prosecco was delicious and plenty of it. Good choice of pizzas and came quickly. Had a really good time after 3 months off! We will return.

First day open after lockdown. We went to celebrate a birthday. The staff were great and friendly. We felt safe & confident that the covid 19 guidance was being followed. The food was fantastic. We had a lovely afternoon at the restaurant & will be returning soon.

What a gorgeous place! The staff and food outstanding. We visited in a group of 4 on Friday night. Our first drink the elderflower spritzer so good we asked how it was made. We all had starters lovely and tasty plus the right amount 4 mains followed equally as good! No room for dessert after the rose wine. The bill arrived with a shot of limoncello perfect to end our nights at Antonio’s! We will definitely be back hopefully sooner rather than later x

We have just had an amazing meal. Great pasta to start, don’t be afraid to ask for the pasta mains as a starter. My wife is fussy about her steaks, but it was cooked perfectly. The service was attentive without being overbearing and the quality of food and service superb. Highly recommend.

I used to come to this place when it was pucinnis and equally used to rate it a lot. we went for tea at 5ish and managed to get a table. The place wasnt that busy but they currently have an offer on for pizza and unlimited prosecco, so when we sat down to eat a group of diners had taken full advantage of this offer and were so loud we struggled to hear the waiter take our order. This continued on pretty much throughout our whole meal. I mentioned it the waitress about the noise level as did another few diners in there so she went over and asked them to keep it down. It didnt work. We were in here at teatime, and you dont expect a place like this to be like that, let alone so early when they would be expecting families in. it just wasnt a nice relaxing atmosphere. The music was loud and not in keeping with the place either. We only ended up here last night as the other place we wanted to go was full, I'm not in a rush to go back.

Excellent Italian meal, of highest quality. In fact one the best we have had. The quality of the food, the top class service and overall value for money, was from the top drawer.Would have no hesitation in returning, in fact booked another visit before we left. Much better and more enjoyable meal, than we experienced when we visited when under the Puccini name.

Excellent service. Attention to detail. Great staff. Nothing too much trouble. Food is always spot on. Melon with Parma ham, Sam had the meatballs. Followed by chicken risotto and gnocchi. Delicious panna cotta with warm berries. Sam had profiteroles, then they gave me a birthday profriterole with a candle in. Made a wish. Meal was £66 with drinks. Thanks for a lovely evening. It was busy with lots of other celebrations. See you soon.

Our second visit tonight. The staff are friendly welcoming and always polite. The food is high quality and cooked to perfection. My husband loves the draught beer and says that the beer is kept to the correct temperature. It was a very cold night but the restaurant was lovely and warm. It was lovely to see children with chefs hats on adding their own Pizza topping. I will be going again soon and will take my granddaughter. Thank you the restaurant is a credit to you

Booked this on a weeknight in December with friends on a budget as they offered a very reasonably priced early bird menu. When we arrived, we were told that as it was December this menu was unavailable and had been replaced by the Christmas lunch menu which was double the price with very limited choices. We ended up choosing from the a la carte which ended up being much more expensive than we wanted. When I checked the website prior to booking, the early bird menu was still being advertised and I didn't see any notice to say it would be unavailable as it was December! We would certainly have booked elsewhere had we known. Having said this, the food we ordered was very nice and the service was attentive.

Food 10/10, service 10/10, excellent value and overall experience could not have been better. Will be back soon.

I have never been to Ashton as my boyfriend lives there he recommended this place for a meal and it was worth it, brilliant food and lovely staff. A must visit !

I used to go quite often when it was Puccini’s but the young girls working their now are terrible. First on Christmas Eve we was told to wait upstairs before we are seated and waiting 15 mins at the bar to be served, which I was like okay then but when I asked one of the girls if they still do mussels she said yes but when I came to order they said they don’t do them anymore. They need to know what the restaurant served before taking orders. Won’t be returning

This place was a real surprise. Went with friends. Great space, friendly welcome, good cocktails and excellent food. All this and the bill was reasonable! Good for groups as well as couples

Having eaten at most of Ashtons restaurants over the years this is by far superior than any other. Pleasant hard working staff and the food one word amazing. The fish is my personal favourite definitely not frozen super fresh.

We ate there tonight and have nothing but praise for the staff and the food. It was a family meal with 4 adults and 2 children. The staff were friendly, attentive and brilliant with the kids. Our youngest grandson had great fun making his own pizza. The food was delicious and there was a great atmosphere. Both the grandkids announced they wanted to go back again, high praise indeed.

Went here when it first opened and was not impressed at all the food was poor to other Italians restaurants in the area it was trying to be something it isn't I have never returned

We went with friends - 3 couples with 3 children under 2, on a Saturday evening at 5.30. We were given a big table with lots if space for the high chairs, staff were really helpful. The food was delicious - baked eggs, meatballs and king prawns amongst the starters and mainly pasta dishes for the mains. Will definitely return.

I’ve eaten here a few times and never been blown away by the food. It’s never been my choice to eat here and after today I wouldn’t return. The service today definitely didn’t come with a smile. Served by two different members of staff, neither looked happy in their in their work just making the average quality food even less average. It was only the start of the working day, I’d imagine by the evening service they were even grumpier. You’d be better going to Ikea up the road for some meatballs and a coke.

Went last night with my family. Bee before and always enjoyed it. Food last night was still tasty but was disappointed with portion sizes! My daughter and her boyfriend ordered spaghetti bolognese and it was tiny I would say a childs portion and for £9 not good enough. It's not like the dish has exspensive ingredients in it ??? I had the king prawn pasta which was tasty but I counted about 5 prawns and mine was £13.50. I did feel a little ripped off tbh. Think this restaurant needs to re think its dishes and pricing. Not sure I'll be returning when you have pinocchios round the corner which offers much better quality for the price.

Visited mid-week for dinner with friends. There weren't many people in, and we were served quickly. The staff were attentive without being pushy. We all really enjoyed our food and will definitely return again. They had a very reasonable mid-week dinner special on, but we all chose to order off the main menu.

Not been here for quite a while and it has since changed its name. Not many people in on the night we were there, and that might explain the lack of atmosphere. Food was good, but we were put off by the pressure from the waitress, particularly with the wine. I appreciate that staff are encouraged to try to sell drinks, but to come round topping up our glasses when there was still 4 or 5 mouthfuls still in the glass wasn't appreciated. This was even during our starters. Consequently, the bottle was empty before our mains came. Then she came again asking if we wanted another bottle. It's quite normal for us to have 2 bottles with our meal, but this approach prevented us from having another.

Been going to Puccini for years and always had a lovely meal and great service. It’s had a name change to Antonio’s but I am happy to say it’s the same restaurant with the same wonderful staff, great menus and service and still a lovely meal. It’s even better now as open Mondays which is really good as nearly everywhere else is closed on Monday for a nice restaurant meal. We look forward to many more fabulous meals here and the great service. We usually come for lunch and their special lunch menu is very good value. Just to add we come more often as a couple but also now and then it will a group of 6 or 10 of us for birthdays and anniversary's etc and we always receive a warm welcome and great service.

We wentvto the restaurant last week to see a new signage being erected and a new name on the outside. Quite a surprise as we have visited several times in recent weeks.

Alex an admirable assistant to Iqbal. we asked for a reserved table and were not disappointed. Alex did us proud. Freddie and staff very attentive and well done to everyone. our best Italian restaurant in the area given the circumstances and surroundings. Keep up up the good work in not an easy job!!

Went here for my daughters twenty second birthday as a treat and we had a great time, and even got our picture on facebook. the was excellent and the ambiance was great too. really recommend this place

Visited Puccini last night for my sons birthday. I have to say what a great choice he made. From walking into thr place we were greeted with a genuine and warm welcome by all the staff. I had the Italian ribs to start and have to say they were the most tender and tasty ribs I've had. There the only ribs I've eaten with a fork as the meat just fell off. This was followed by the Roma pizza which was fresh, light and so full of flavour. Three quarters the way through I sadly had to give up as I was so full. To top of a fantastic meal the staff need a special mention. They were so helpful and welcoming without being over bearing and when they nknew it was my sons birthday they all came to the table to sing happy birthday. So I would like to say a big thank to all the staff u make this place special and the success it is. See you soon and again thanks

My daughter & I ate here for the first time today, we arrived at 3.55pm & were offered the special menu that ends st 4pm. The food was delicious, the service was great & the staff were very friendly. We ate outside in the sunshine & loved everything about our visit, we will definitely be returning.

Birthday occassion for my wife and we had a fantastic meal. The sirloin and pepper sauce and chicken Crema were perfect. The staff brought a little cake without any prompting and sang a very snazzy 'happy birthday' song. £80 for starters, drinks, main courses and sweets (including a £10 tip) is not too expensive compared with competition in Manchester. There is no where locally in the same league. Fast service, beautiful table cloths, and a busy but sociable atmosphere. There wasn't a spare seat in the restuarant at 7.30pm on a Friday evening; so booking is advised at busy times I'd say.

My family and I have dined at Puccinis for the past 5 years. The quality of the food is okay to good. However the pricing and supporting service leave a lot to be desired. Twice now I feel short changed. The first time I ordered two kids meals that were around £8 each. It would have been far cheaper to have ordered a single main and split it. The second occasion we arrived at puccinis at 3.50 on a Friday afternoon wanting to dime from the lunchtime menu that runs until 4pm. Having taken our drinks order the drinks arrive at 4.02, at which point we ask to order from the specials menu, only to be told that as it is past 4pm we can not order from the specials menu and that there was nothing that could be done as the billing has changed over. If that was the case which I doubt it was, surely a little initiative would of said how about a drink to compensate on this occasion or a dessert for the children, a gesture would have been nice even though they were in the wrong by not taking our order more promptly. In reality we would have ordered more food and wine etc. By penny pinching they have lost a large bill and my future custom. Poor management, poor customer service.

It’s a pleasure to give good reviews - but sadly not able to do so for this restaurant- in fact the whole experience of dining there had to be one of the worst experiences of my life - very, very disappointing.

I see this restaurant receives a large amount of very positive reviews. I’m not sure I understand why. It’s average at best.

I have been to Puccini before around one year ago and enjoyed it very much so I was delighted when a friend decided to have her works leaving party there.

We were unsure of the parking charges at the public car park across the road, and when I went to the resturant to get change to fill the meter, the manager invited me to park in the private space by the resturant door. That set the scene! The staff were extremely courteous and professional. The atmosphere was buzzing. My Calzone was fantastic, but I'm afraid that the quantity defeated me. Linda's Lasagne was equally well presented, and her plate went back to the kitchen empty. This is a lovely resturant, with incredibly efficient and courteous staff, great food and a really good atmosphere.

Lovely food, but could not here my husband over the hustle of noice. Food was good but average... very noisy avoid if u want a nice evening! Can’t wait to get out of her !!!!! Very quick rushed service for the price. Places nicer and more customer friendly.

Have been 3 or 4 times in the last month. Eaxh visit has been good. Staff friendly. Wine good. The food is excellent. No complaints about any course we have tried. Could not recommend it highly enough.

Quite a while since I last visited this restaurant but standards still the same no less in part to the consistency and continuity of the staff, Four members of my family have been there tonight...a lovely welcome from everyone and excellent service and food. Iqbal the Manager is astute,professional and pleasant and wants you to enjoy your evening and will do his very best to ensure that happens..a true professional.Iqbal is well supported by all his staff who are young and enthusiastic and helpful. Hannah is as always an absolute superstar..full of integrity,charming and utterly professional. I am looking forward to returning with friends and colleagues shortly..well done to everyone.

I went to Puccinis with my boyfriend for the first time and I can’t recommend this place enough. The food was beautiful, the staff warm and friendly and the service was second to none. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area and I will be going again for sure. Best Italian in the north west xx

I found myself in Ashton for a few things do to, once done me and my wife decided to have a proper lunch rather than a quick sandwich and I've found Puccini.

Lovely friendly , clean and well maintained place.

Was in Ashton visiting family for New year and came here for lunch on Friday. This was welcome and delightful after suffering the most abysmal 'Italian' (if you can call it that) on Ashton Moss Leisure Park two days previous. Avoid the chain 'Italian' on Ashton Moss at all costs if you have a half decent palate. Puccinis is very classy, offering a good menu and specials board. The decor is stylish. I had the pasta/ fillet steak dish (Penne Filetto) with a rocket and parmesan salad, followed by tiramisu. All the food was beautiful but the pasta-steak dish was a little small. Little did I know that the tiramisu was going to be a very large portion. I would rather have had more pasta and less tiramisu. The portion sizes seemed topsy turvy. All in all a great experience and I will definitely be back. Definitely be trying different dishes next time too. The place does seem a little out of place in Ashton. You would expect to find this calibre of restaurant in Wilmslow or Alderley Edge; it would beat the Italian places in Wilmslow easily

Visited 28th December for lunch, the service here was the worst we have Experienced anywhere , however the food was lovley , we waited 20 minutes for our order to be taken , other people lthat had arrived after us had there order taken within minutes , we had to ask for more drinks twice, waited 15 mins more for drinks to arrive , the restraunt wasn’t busy , but regular diners seemed to receive preferential service, we won’t be back

Some friends and i came out for a meal, not expecting to be in and out in an hour. The food is thrown at you, whereas it would be far more enjoyable if the slowed down, if i wanted fast food i would have gone to Mcdonalds.

I went here with my husband and daughter for my birthday, the staff were wonderful and very attentive, even though the restaurant was very busy with a couple of large parties. The food was excellent and they were very accommodating with my daughter, who is Vegan. At the end of the meal we were offered a free drink (we went with lemon cello) and the brought me a slate with a profiterole with a candle in it and sang happy birthday, I was rather touched. All in all a very enjoyable evening will definitely be returning

Early evening dinner for a Christmas family get together. The restaurant wasn't that busy but because they had a private function upstairs the service we received was very fragmented with deserts not being served at the same time and long waits for coffee. We had been here before and the service was so much more friendly but this time it was very unfriendly and uncaring. I was going to book for a large family do here next year but now won't be bothering.
