The restaurant is really well decorated and the staff were great. It was quite busy when we went but the staff were really attentive but the food and drinks were fresh and delicious. Great customer service and excellent food, I will definitely recommend to others and will be returning again.

Visited Rudy's last night with a group of 16. The service at Rudy's is excellent. Our waiter Tom was polite and attentive, going above and beyond to provide a wonderful eating experience. The food here is absolutely delicious. Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. The ambiance was perfect for a relaxing evening out. Looking forward to our next visit. Very busy pizza place, so if you want a cozy and calm place it isn't the best during the weekend. The pizza was very good (got the mushroom one) and they have special pizza that changes during the year. The price is very good compared with the quality. Service has slow and a little chaotic.

Popped in for a quick dinner. Nice staff, fast seating. Awesome pizza! Very tasty and fresh. Came within minutes. We took our leftovers home and still enjoyed it later that night, cold.

TRIPLE PEPPERONI feels sweet at first, but it turns out that chilli honey is added, which makes delicious PEPPERONI feel so salty. MARGHERITA is relatively mediocre and needs a piece of basil leaf. Good service attitude.

Always love meeting friends in here! It’s ideal to book before hand as it gets busy very quickly, but service is fab and quick. I had the autumn special ‘GORGONZOLA + CAPOCOLLO’ - amazing! Would recommend. If you’re not too full for dessert - the tiramisu is divine.

Our booking has been cancelled the very last minute. Poor management by the restaurant. The booking has been made for 10 people and never before have we got a call from them to say we can’t come in.

What it says: True Napolitano pizza. Only did takeaway as no tables were available (even though it was completely empty when I walked in, weird). But yes, proper pizza, which you can then adulterate with a long list of options if you're starving, I suppose.

Ordered the margarita pizza with buffalo cheese. It was ok. I’d say 2.5/5. I’ve tried the OG ones back in Italy so this one was ok for me. The pizza was a bit soggy cause the sauce wasn’t holding onto the dough compared to the ones I had in Italy. Tiramisu was better than the pizza tbh. It was 3/5. I don’t drink so I really enjoyed the pasca mandarina (0% alcohol). Perfect light and refreshing drink after a heavy meal.

Considering all they sell is pizza, was very disappointing they don't offer any gluten free option, unless you have a salad...appreciate they only have one pizza oven so there would be cross-contamination, but that would be the choice for the customer... Went there in a group otherwise I would not have visited. Response to Rudy's: visiting (again in a grp) some 10 months later to still be told we don't do gluten free pizza..... I will forego any future work events if they book to eat here.

This is the BEST pizza I have ever tasted! As you can see from the photo I couldn’t even wait to take the picture! So delicious. Tried most pizzas on the menu and they all taste good. Italian beer is lovely as well. Staff are always friendly and it’s a great atmosphere in there too. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

My three pepperoni pizza was excellent. Yes it was a little soggy but that was because of the honey and it tasted delicious. My Caesar salad was lettuce with a sprinkling of cheese. I didn’t eat it Shane the server didn’t ask me why. However I would go back for the lovely pizza. Staff very efficient.

If you want good Italian pizza, book a flight, rent a car and drive to your favourite place in Italy then hand make your own over some volcanic rocks. It would genuinely be quicker to do than wait for Rudys pizza.

Fab pizza, had to book in advance, otherwise 45 min - 1 hour wait! It's a staple in the north West of England.

Friendly and welcoming host and server, amazing pizza, only let down was the music was a bit loud for a dining spot, couldn't really have an easy conversation it was that loud. It was a Friday night granted but I still think it could have been dialed down a bit (feeling acutely old now! 😅) but overall still a great spot.

The pizza is one of the best I have ever had. The triple pepperoni is my favourite and it’s the only thing I order. It’s so good and I look forward to it every time. It’s always great nice and classic design in there . Staff were great and I LOVE the Pizza.

Just received my order and my pizza looked like it’s been sat in the restaurant since yesterday. They didn’t even bother warming it up. Very disappointing. And it was FREEZING COLD and hard /soggy. Wow

Called in without reservation on Bank Holiday Monday (yesterday Aug 26th). Lucky to get a table very busy. Served by Roisin who was excellent a credit to the restaurant. Was going to choose a garlic bread starter but once we saw the sz of the pizzas coming out we just chose drinks and pizzas. Very tasty can def recommend here.

Always very good pizza and antipasti, on this occasion a little disappointed. We were staying at Radisson Edwardian and had booked in advance for the corner table on the right at the canopy. Not a mention that we had booked and requested the table… brought to random table, there was a couple on the table we had booked, weeks in advance. I won’t bother booking again. Last time when I queued they said ‘Do You have a booking? ‘ Eh no, didn’t know you could book’ Yes you can…but now I know there is absolutely no point….

The athmosphere of the place was lovely. We loved the starters and salads but the pizza was very doughy and wattery. You could hardly taste anything on Capricciosa as everything was watered down and barely any tomato sauce.

Watched them make my Capriccosa pizza and load it with toppings… you had me at San Marzano tomato! Kalamata olives and prosciutto cotto for days! Great vibe, well priced and lovely team!

Very busy on Monday 15 July but it is graduation season. We had booked for 5 people and it was very busy. Drinks order taken promptly as was our food order. 4 pizzas were delivered but there was a problem with one but it was made clear that this would not be charged for which I thought was very good customer service. The missing pizza had obviously then been prioritised so didn't take too long anyway. Again good customer service. I should've got the name of our waiter,a young man with an Irish accent, who was excellent. Management take note - he's good at his job. Pizzas are superb so all in all a great meal. We will return when next in Manchester.

I went today during my lunch break, I wanted to relax a bit with a good pizza, but this wasn't an option. It was 2.30PM, I waited more than 5 minutes at the reception, unfortunately the receptionist was busy talking to a colleague with her back to the reception. When she then returned to the entrance I politely asked her if there was a possibility of having a table for just one person. The receptionist very politely (so to speak) replied that there was only the possibility of having a table to share with other people. I asked her if it was possible to have a single table as I deal with a lot of people at work, at least during my break I would like to relax a bit. The receptionist practically ignored me and called to the attention of a family in line behind of me. Honestly, read Neapolitan pizza written, and I am originally from (Via Biaggio ai Librai) I felt offended and disappointed. Maybe the pizza may be Naples style but of course not the hospitality.

JUL 2024 While my friends were hungry for pizza, I only had room for pudding. Cue my first ever tiramisu- and what a treat it turned out to be! Cool, creamy and the taste of coffee wasn’t too overpowering. Sweet! -- Having visited before and loving the pizza, I came here for lunch with a couple of friends who hadn’t yet experienced a Rudy’s. On a Covid-19 note, tables are spaced out, food can be ordered through a QR code on the table (a waiter offered to take our order, though, as it wasn’t busy) and there are green/red beermats to let you know whether a table is okay to sit at or not. Hand sanitiser is available at the entrance. All the pizzas are very reasonably priced- between £5-9. We received ours within ten minutes of ordering: it was incredibly quick! I ordered the Portobello on a tomato base, which was delicious. There was a decent amount of mushroom, but maybe just a touch too much of the sea salt. I’m looking forward to coming back to try the Buffalo Mozzarella!

The restaurant is super loud and you can barely hear your companions. Their pizzas are delicious, especially the fennel sausage and tuna pizzas. Many options to test your tastebuds. The brownie was on the denser side with pockets of white chocolate fudge so it’s up to your sweet tooth.

We were in Manchester for a conference and needed a quick bite to eat, somewhere close to our hotel and the conference centre on our first evening. We really had no idea where to head or even in which direction! We soon came across Rudy's, it looked busy (always a good sign) and thought we'd give it a go. We both thoroughly enjoyed our pizza. It's probably the best pizza I've had in a while. Lovely buzz to the restaurant too. Really can't complain about the cost either, just over £20 each for a pizza, a shared dip and a alcoholic 'spritz' drink. You'd pay way more than that at some of the big chains for a pizza I'd consider to be nowhere near as good.

Good choice for pre concert/gig food. Booking is recommended. Atmosphere loud as it was very busy

Ordered a pizza through a food delivery app on the 25/6/24. It's been a while since the last time I have had a pizza at Rudy's as, to be fair, now there's a better place for pizza in Manchester city centre...however, as I saw they were doing a special with pesto in their menu (given the fact that they have barely changed their menu from 2015, nearly 10 years...), I wanted to give it a try, and the result couldn't be more disappointing. The pizza ('Trapanese', that's the name) couldn't be more dull, flavourless and lacking everything that used to make Rudy's the great, independent place for pizza that it used to be. It was that flavourless that, to be fair, I even thought at first that they missed the pesto and there were only tomato on it. Honestly, what a waste of money. Don't get fooled by their glorious past, now there's way better pizzerias in Manchester city centre .

Been a few times. Popped in because we wanted a late evening meal. 2 pizzas and a couple of cokes for about £30. Very reasonable for Mcr city centre. Excellent quality food and nice atmosphere. Could eat another but won't be back in the city centre for a while!
