I would definitely recommend this place to anyone

Booked a table for an early tea for my birthday. Staff were fab as was all four meals, could not fault anything, especially my birthday glass of prossecco, thank you matt and sue sawyer

Where to start. Greeted upon arrival and shown to our table where we were given complimentary water. Moretti on draught, yes please. Ordered the volcano pizza which flew down like a pigeon without wings. Given a free limoncello shot to celebrate a buddy’s 21st birthday. Food excellent, service sublime, Avanti worth every penny.

The manager is rude….. I ordered a cappuccino and sat outside after 1 hour or so he told me if I want to sit I have to order more…… I come everyday and that is how they treat a frequent costumer and their hot chocolate is disgusting really disappointing

Booked last. Minute. And what a great idea. I ordered a Fillet steak with oven cooked chips with a Dianne sauce. Id go as far as say the best steak I’ve tasted in years. This place just never disappoints. An owner who certainly knows how to run a restaurant and a chef, well the food was to die for.. the service 10/10

The Sunday lunches were lovely. Only 4 stars this time because one gravy was missing.

i decided to try the parmo, one of the best parmo's I've ever had, I ordered the meat feast but asked to have olives added on which they did for me, it was piping hot and all good quality ingredients, big fresh chunky chips and nice fresh salad, it was gorgeous, my partner had the mixed shwarma plate and said the same thing, piping hot and all good ingredients, this is our third time using this place over the last few weeks and will be ordering from here more often , thanks it was lovely 😀

Ordered a kiev pizza and a vesuvio. The kiev arrived with mushrooms on it so wasnt edible and the vesuvio had no chilli on it. We were also missing a garlic dip. When we rang we were told that the chefs had gone home so nothing could be done

Fantastic fish and chips. Big portions, but not cheap. Very tasty.

We called in again at our favourite italian restaurant in chester-le-street.We chose food off the lunchtime special menu and was not disappointed as it was its usual great food/value.We both had potato skins and pasta dishes - lasagne/amatriciana with side orders of garlic bread and onion rings.The food was washed down with moretti lager and it was beautiful.Service was prompt without being on top of us.It was a pity we were too full as the desserts looked great.Final bill was £40 ish and was well worth it.We shall return as the food is consistently lovely.👍
