Lovely friendly restaurant, great location and the food was 1st class, hot and plentiful, plenty of room in between tables, the staff are very attentive and helpful.

A lovely time there as always. The service is always amazing here. We love the restaurant and visit it as much as we can. Having additional needs children and feeling welcomed is a big thing and is one of the reasons why we love Bella Italia.

Service was excellent. Very attentive and made me feel very welcomed.

Food was lush, it was very busy but the staff were still attentive and friendly especially Daisy who got us a kids menu and brought our food and drinks to the table very quickly. We were sat at a table with highchairs close by and with plenty of room for the pram too which was super helpful.

Service was amazing. Fayth looked after us so well, as did other members of staff. Food was good also!

Had a great experience at this food chain. I walked in on a Tuesday evening, it was quite busy and it did not take long for a group of 3 to be seated. We was sat on the booth and saw the sign “£5 pasta when you ask” (didn’t take a picture of the sign) and when I asked and most pasta dishes were £5 same portion. It was amazing. I ordered spaghetti meatballs and my friend ordered some spicy pasta (forgot the name) and we both enjoyed our pasta dishes. She did say the pasta had a nice kick to it so be aware of the spice when ordering the pasta! Overall I really liked the offer they had and the pasta was nice and hot. I would come here again :))

Food was nice, seating was nice, service is good but the coffee was very bad, we went for the pasta deal the portions were baby portions but it was expected for the price, food was delicious and they made it very fast which makes me feel it might have been ready already, the coffee was full of milk tasted like milk not coffee I was expecting good Italian coffee for 3.99 I expected better coffee.

Someone sick next to us, a wet floor sign put out and almost 10 minutes later it was cleaned up, none of the staff offered to move up, very poor

Well Me and my partner came into this restaurant and we where welcomed in and asked if we had booked in and we said yes and then they got us a table. The girl called Daisy was very polite and asked if we where ok and ready to order our drinks after a few minutes. We had a wonderfull meal and my wife had plenty of cheese on request. I would defo go back there again..

Disgusting. Ordered via Just Eat at 15:00, never started preparing my order. Rang the restaurant twice and nobody picked up.

Went for tea after receiving a £15 birthday gift card from the restaurant group. Was a lovely evening, gluten free pizza and fries. Chocolate brownie with ice cream for dessert. Very nice.

LOVED THE BARTENDER TAM! She was very knowledgeable and the presentation on the drinks were beautiful. Also Charlotte was lovely too. Great time, would definitely return. Highly recommend.

Took 90 minutes to deliver, it was taking so long just eat just end up giving up on giving an estimated time. Food was stone cold when it turned up

Dine in on a Saturday. We had a table booked and managed to get in slightly earlier. Orders were taken pretty quickly, and drinks arrived quickly. Dined here several times and food has always been good, especially the Tiramaso...

Olivia’s energy make the food, the experience, the vibe worth a million next visit. Thanks Olivia for being so kind and absolutely enjoyed the meal recommendations. Went here tonight (Saturday) and the manager was abrupt and arrogant when he told us our reserved table was taken as it was needed.my 3 Yr old granddaughter was about to throw a wobbler and we asked if we could reserve a certain table until we coaxed her out of it.. the you lad at front obliged and was very helpful..less than 10 minutes later (he reserved it for 20)... we came back cool calm and collected ..then was told we couldn't have it..but it was the way the manager told us. We did get a table at the back which was fine but it was his management skills that was very poor. All the other staff were brilliant.. manager letting the side down massively.. must do better...!

I attended on 3/11 with my family. We informed the staff right at the start of my kids allergies of dairy and fish. We had ordered the two year old a smaller kids menu with a plain cheese and tomato pizza. For the 7 year old who had a dairy allergy we were told that he could have a pepperoni pizza with dairy free cheese. Food started to arrive and my nephew was presented with a older child cheese and tomato pizza, we immediately stated that my nephew couldn’t have this and it took the chefs what appeared a long time to prepare a dairy free pepperoni pizza whilst the adults were eating their meals. I ordered a spaghetti bolognaise (one of my favourite) when it arrived the sauce was watery and it tasted very bland! I had to season it with some salt to actually eat it! The prizes as well do not reflect the quality of the food and or service experienced. Needless to say my family come back!

Had the meatball starter and then the classic chicken Milanese. Delicious. Added to that the staff are very polite. Would definitely recommend

We were taken to a table straight away & the order taken relatively quickly. The food came & the quality & taste was excellent. We had to have desserts too which were also very yummy. Paid the bill easy after downloading the app & a perk of £10 off the meal which was very nice thank you. Really enjoyed it & will be back to Bella Italia nearer home as we were visiting to Newcastle at this time. We were highly satisfied with our experience on this visit. Highly recommend this restaurant.

My experience at this restaurant was amazing the staff were faultless and the food was amazing. I really recommend the risotto as it filling and it’s really flavourful.

Students be careful, false advertising on the door. Went on a Tuesday, got set Menu and was told at the end the student discount does not apply. Nothing on the sign at the door. Even said ‘it doesn’t say that on your sign’ and waiter lied and told me it did, as you can see on picture nothing there!! Not a ‘*’ in sight

We had an amazing experience here, the server Olivia was friendly and knowledgeable about the food. The drinks were flavoursome and the food was just enough to fill you up. We were not rushed and allowed to eat in our time If you are ever in Eldon Square and fancy and Italian....come here!

Experience was okay, no reservation on the Saturday and was told to come back in 20 minutes which was fine. After we got seated, service per normal with the exception of relatively slow service, eventually after sitting round waiting aimlessly for dessert we decided to scrap dessert and just get the bill. Food was fine, service was maybe slightly below expectations for this chain but overall, okay. 3/5

I was disappointed to find earth in my most recent meal which I had delivered to work. However, I am even more so that I have not received a refund which was promised. I would not order from this restaurant again as the customer service is despicable. I am sure this would have been resolved had I been in the restaurant.

Services is so slow and quite frankly rude. We asked for many things like sauce and they failed to bring us that. They would serve alot more other the things we requested but absolutely neglected us.

Food was rank. Very overpriced for small portions off food Partner had bolognaise was just fully liquidated at the bottom of the bowl and had no taste I had carbonara bacon was fatty and didn't look like it was cooked properly Dessert was cookie dough it was too overcooked and dry. Wasn't dough at all. Prices if drinks were also disgusting you can go to asda and get a cheaper meal and make at home that's better and half the price. Only thing that was half decent was the staff at the present day.

Went for a Friday lunch time our server was prompt and attentive, we weren't waiting around for food or drinks. Our food selection was from the set menu with a side of Bolognese loaded chips from the regular menu. My mozzarella sticks came with a surprise choice of dip, chilli jam, which paired very well. Sweet but with a kick works very well together. Main was the carbonara they accommodated my request with not adding the extra meat within the dish no problem. The mains came out hot the chips, a new addition to the menu, were loaded with stringy cheese and sauce plus they were still crispy and not soggy. We will definitely get these again. The spaghetti also arrived hot, one of our regular orders from here. It came out spot on, with the offer to add extra cheese or black pepper. The dessert was the brownie drizzled in chocolate and butterscotch sauce. Served warm, just enough to melt the creamy ice-cream on top. It was rich but not over the top. Overall, a fantastic visit and we will be back soon!

Bella Italia in Newcastle Eldon Square was an utter disaster. We sat for 40 minutes with three hungry children, only to find out they never placed our order. The staff were oblivious and not particularly apologetic, leaving us waiting aimlessly. The food was below average and overall not value for money, despite the kids eat for £1 deal. Avoid this place if you value your time and sanity.
