It was a Monday evening so atmosphere was low key but Gusto lived up to my expectations. The service was faultless. Courteous and friendly, no waiting, everything served professionally with charm. The food was excellent, my Australian guests were impressed on their first visit. We had a circular table with banquette seating which gave us a private dinner party feel. The menu options were various and beautifully presented on our plates. I had sea bass which was plentiful without needing sides and add ons. We were all satisfied.

Visted Gusto on Saturday at 5pm had booked a table, upstairs, was shown to table with a view by the fabulous Victor, then we had Monica as our server, she was fab, friendly, helpful, 1st class service......Had Carbonara which was delicious & my friend had Chicken Ceaser saled which she said was very tasty, both had Tirimasue mine came complete with candle in it & happy birthday written on plate.... Then 2 excellent coffee's Also had a g&t, glass of very nice Prosecco & Asprol Spritz It was quiet when we first arrived but soon filled up & had a lovely atmosphere, would recommend sitting upstairs better atmosphere & I liked the curved booth seating..... We hadn’t been to this Gusto for a number of years, we still love it. My only grumble was we were made to wait quite a while to get the bill but the food was amazing. Restaurant was a little quiet which made for a dull atmosphere but otherwise we would recommend and return.

Was served by Alex, wonderful place that me and the family love going to. Would rate Gusto Newcastle as one of the top Italian restaurants in Newcastle came back again, recently. Food is still brilliant, although some dessert prices have increased find the portion sizes have also increased. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for amazing Italian food

Been here before and loved ( what has gone wrong?) Arrived on time 7.15pm Thursday 20th Feb Immediately told that upstairs was shut because it wasn’t buddy enough to be opened. Sat at our table, which was fine. Long wait to be attended to ref drinks and placing the food order (circa half hour) After 45 mins our starters arrived 🤔 After arriving at 7.15pm, it was now 20 mins to 9pm, the main course landed.😯 My wife and I decided to call it a night. I refused my main and so did she. Staff called the manager. Without a word being said, he immediately announced that he was taking the mains off the bill. I agreed to this, as did want to pay for what we had eaten, he went to sort out the bill. Meanwhile I went to the loo, it happened to be the DISABLED LOO that people were using. Bearing in mind this is a DISABLED LOO, take a look at the pictures, this is how I found it - the door and the handle 🤮 the seat and paper dispenser 🤮. This made me even more enraged, disgusted, I paid and left, never to return

Enjoyed a bottomless brunch yesterday (Saturday 22 February) at Gustos Newcastle. Amazing service from Abby J who went above and beyond looking after our table.

Beshanka was lovely! Food was nice, seated right next to the door which made food cold faster and small portion of fries that were £5 extra but overall good!

We had a lovely evening here for our son’s birthday. Nicole looked after us perfectly. In fact she went above and beyond by coming to find us in the lobby of the restaurant at the end of the evening with my husband’s wallet that he’d mistakenly left on his seat! Huge thanks. Delicious sea bass and definitely worth signing up to the Gold Reward scheme for a free round of birthday drinks. A great evening.

Valentine's day so was very busy. Food was ok. Service was good

Incredibly poor. 8.30 and no lasagna. Spag bol just bland spaghetti and little sauce. The highlight was the pizza which had nothing on the top except for a few pieces of Italian meat. No onion, no peppers, no cheese, lol no nothing. Waitress was excellent and very understanding. But she got no support at all from any managers.

We visited on a very busy Saturday on valentines weekend however our drinks and food were delivered in good time, service was brilliant our waitress was friendly. The food was delicious we had starters and main and all was perfect.
