Cup cakes are beautiful and 4 for £6 is a bargain, man on the stall in Durham today was lovely, friendly and patient while we took a while to decide as everything looked amazing 👏

As a visitor to the town I came across Pier Red and was made to feel very welcome. The food looked amazing but unfortunately I'd already had lunch at a chain cafe. I wish now that I'd waited. The ladies serving were so friendly and helpful . I felt very at home with a lovely chilled white wine which they recommended. The atmosphere for a Wednesday afternoon was warm and friendly, I should also add the toilet was immaculate.

We've been here a few times but, since we last went, the owners have made the decision to be mainly takeout with a small amount of seating indoors and outside. We really wanted to dine in or sit outside and, with the outdoor seating being very popular today due to the sunshine, we opted to sit on the very comfortable bar stools at the side. Our yummy lunch was delivered in minutes and it was well presented in a little basket. I opted to get a takeaway coffee to take back to the car and it was delicious (and in a fully compostable cup). I thoroughly recommend the flat white and biscuit syrup which takes like biscoff. Overall, our experience was wonderful and it's clear that the staff really care about their customers and are super helpful. Thanks to all three of you for such as lovely lunch.

Pizzas and parmos are to die for! Absolutely delicious! My child commented best pizza they'd had. Fresh cut home cooked chips seal the deal! Good size portions definitely fill you up and make you want to order again. Delivered quickly by friendly driver. I would definitely recommend you won't be disappointed! Thank you! xx

Delicious food and great service. Really lovely seating area upstairs. Would definitely recommend - especially the afternoon tea.

We pop in most weeks for ice cream and it’s always a lovely experience. Today’s staff were Katie and Jackie and they made us so welcome. Pineapple and Lime and Mango and Passion fruit ice creams are definitely the best way to get some of your ‘five a day’ 😂. See you again soon.

Absolutely amazing portions! Chips were very chunky and tasty. Fish tasted amazing. Excellent menu with plenty to choose.

Went to see a band and I agree it is an ideal venue to go to for live music.TA categorise the venue as a restaurant but it should really be a music bar.

Met the mam himself there. The legend, Harvey. I am sure one day people will be wanting to visit his eatery as much as that Salt Bae bloke. Wonderful Chinese chicken! I'm sure the cellar bar will be open at some point soon!
