The best restaurants serving Italian food in North East

i decided to try the parmo, one of the best parmo's I've ever had, I ordered the meat feast but asked to have olives added on which they did for me, it was piping hot and all good quality ingredients, big fresh chunky chips and nice fresh salad, it was gorgeous, my partner had the mixed shwarma plate and said the same thing, piping hot and all good ingredients, this is our third time using this place over the last few weeks and will be ordering from here more often , thanks it was lovely 😀

La carbona, a pesar de estar hecha con nata y masiva, estaba deliciosa y la margarita, eso me dicen, estaba "muy linda"!. Nuestra camarera, Sreelakshmi, era atractivo, amable, y no podía hacer lo suficiente para hacer nuestra experiencia gastronómica uno para recordar.

Fantastic fish and chips. Big portions, but not cheap. Very tasty.

One of the very best eateries in the area! Amazing mussels, fillet steak to die for!!!!! And the staff are all so professional. Faultless.

My partner and I often eat out especially on Sunday, we try many places for Sunday lunch, we decided to try Giannis as we’ve seen it advertised on social media- the Sunday lunch was the best we’ve had in a long time and would recommend it , the service was exceptional, we’ll definitely be back to try there full menu

Just had food at this beautiful restaurant, cannot say enough of how fantastic it was, very clean , service was excellent, food beautiful, would recommend 100%

Como siempre, mi familia y yo tuvimos un tiempo encantador en el Rustica. . . Como de costumbre, el personal era educado y servicial, y como de costumbre la comida era deliciosa. 5 🌟

Ive wanted to eat here for a while as we drive past weekly to the secondary school. We booked a table for our anniversary and it was our first time visiting here. We were greeted when we walked inside and seated straight away. Our food came to the table around 10 minutes after ordering which was fab. My partner had the bolognese and garlic bread and i chose a pizza with a side of homemade chips. All food was thoroughly enjoyed and reasonably priced. The young girl serving was professional and polite as was the man behind the bar (maybe the owner but unsure). I couldn’t fault anything, it’s beautifully decorated inside and has car parking to the rear of the building. We would definitely return here.

We had been recommended to try this restaurant, so we tried it. Our first indication that this might not have been a good choice was that no one ever came to our table to begin the service! Everything was on us, from ordering drinks, food, dessert menu or the check. We never received any water or were asked if we wanted anything. Now we did see a glimmer of hope from some of the staff, but one waitress seemed like she would rather be somewhere else. It was like it was the first night they had been open and no one knew what to do. Now it was not all bad, as the food was good, plenty of it and at a fair price. Proceed with caution and definitely be assertive with the staff!!!

My son and his friends (aged 14) went to Fabio’s on Tuesday for a special treat. As they are teenagers and don’t have much money, they made sure that they arrived for ‘Happy Hour’. However, when they proceeded to order, they were told that they were 1 minute late for Happy Hour and had to pay full price!!!! Taking advantage of teenagers is not a good look! They will not be returning and neither will I. There are lots of alternative restaurants in Chester le street that value young people and their custom. Very poor behavior from Fabio’s.

This restaurant is brilliant, the food is amazing (thankyou chefs), the service was attentive. The owner and his staff went above and beyond to make us have a lovely dining experience.Especially as another large party was in around same time. Looking forward to coming back or even trying one of your other restaurants 😊

4 of us went here for mums birthday. We got the prawns for starter. They were OK. We got the Tuesday special which was 2 steaks and a bottle of wine. We got that twice. When the steaks arrived they were so tough. That was all 4 of them. The only thing that was lovely were the chips.We told the waitress but nothing more was said. We should have complained further. We won't be returning and as a birthday meal for mum it was a disaster

It was a Monday so it was quiet but felt the service wasnt great and very slow, my mam had to ask for a clean wine glass three times, and my cousin waited nearly 15 minutes for his drink. There were only three tables in the entire restaurant with people on, so waiting around for food and drinks was not acceptable. The food was nice but you do get what you pay for and the wine wasn't as expected. We felt like we were being watched when it got close to closing time of 9 pm although we actually left at 8:40. Don't think we will go back.

A very busy place on a Saturday night, for a meal or celebration.
