The best restaurants serving Italian food in North East

We were in a group of 10. I had the steak, which was excellent. Everyone else said that their meals were very good. Value for money was good compared to other restaurants. The staff were very welcoming and kept checking if we needed extra drinks or anything. We will definitely be back.

Fuimos a cenar justo después de las 9 . El dueño estaba en la puerta bateando la alfombra de la puerta. Ella nos dio una horrible mirada sucia. Te preguntamos si estabas abierto. Las luces estaban encendidas y la puerta abierta con los clientes en. Ella se rió y nos miró suciamente y dijo que no.

Tremendo En un sábado a la hora de comer y eligió los dos platos para 16 Sopa (increíble - sé que es sopa pero ... ) y pasta de salmón que era enorme y muy sabroso Este es mi italiano favorito y un negocio familiar - se puede decir que realmente quieren que disfrute de su experiencia y es consistentemente bueno Gracias Angelo’s y nos vemos pronto!

Visitamos el viernes 11 de abril en familia de 4 personas. Ya no vivimos en el noreste, así que fue agradable encontrar esta joya escondida con una vista espectacular del puerto deportivo. El servicio fue de primera clase y muy atento. Nuestro hijo de 7 años fue entretenido por todo el personal. Le encantaba el set de colorear, que la mantenía entretenida mientras esperaba entre platos. Para empezar, teníamos vieiras que se cocinaron a la perfección, papas fritas Halloumi fue un placer con nuestro pequeño. El pan de pizza de ajo con queso también estaba lleno de sabor. Para la red, teníamos la lubina y las gambas reales servidas con patatas nuevas, chorizo y pimientos y no decepcionó. El bistec fue cocinado por encargo y el lado del puré de pudín negro realmente complementa el plato. La pechuga de pollo cocinada en Cointreau era tan sabrosa que todos tuvimos que probarla. Pulimos nuestra comida con un par de cócteles, que de nuevo eran perfectos! Una gran ubicación, ambiente maravillosamente presentado y relajado. Sin duda volveremos!

Turned up for table booked for pre-theatre lunch only to find it is now called Salt & Pepper!!! Only taking cash and was almost empty at 1.30. Food was lovely however so hopefully they will get sorted soon!!!

A fantastic, authentic Italian restaurant. The welcome, the food, and the wine are always excellent. Whenever we are going out for a special occasion, this is our first choice. Great value too!

La comida y el servicio excelentes necesito decir más. Pequeña y amable en primera línea de mar la comida era divina el personal excelente servicio.

We normally go here for a coffee when we visit Yarm and I rarely write negative reviews unless it’s bad. But honestly, we didn’t even get a chance to have a coffee because we waited so long. We were bypassed by the waitress who collected the orders from two separate tables that came in after us. There was a sign that said ‘Take a seat we’ll come to you’ but I only realised that after waiting as we have done in the past before getting up and seeing it at the till. I decided to sit down again as the waitress was bussing tables. We were there for half an hour! Even though we took the last table and yet sat there until multiple tables had left we were still waiting. The waitress then decide to stand and talk to one table for nearly 10 minutes while we’re still waiting, so I decided to get up again and order at the till. We were still sat waiting for the coffee the other tables received their drinks yet we were still waiting. The man at the counter seemed nice but maybe if he wasn’t flirting with the lady who wasn’t doing much at the back, they may have noticed that we had been sat for nearly half an hour. After still waiting we decided to leave and go to Neros. We probably won’t be back even though we know the coffee is nice but service this time was awful and probably will continue like this. Whether or not they purposely ignored us because we weren’t regulars or for whatever other reason, we know we can get equally nice coffee and better service elsewhere.

Got a takeaway kofta platter for 16.50. Two meat cylinders with nice flavour. However got some dead chips some basic salad and some pita, which could all be straight from asda. Wasn't worth the money at all.

We ordered a takeaway via JustEast and were honestly a little underwhelmed by it all. We went with the steak and chicken mixed kebab, which literally only had a couple of pieces of the meat we ordered and then was for some reason bulked out with doner kebab. The meat was okay, but not great and the side salad pretty limp and drenched in vinegar. We also had sides of chips and halloumi, which again were only okay. I think at £30 it was really overpriced for what we got, not sure I would be in a hurry to order from here in the future.
