Enjoyable surroundings. Good food.

Have been coming here on/off for months. The food is really good. There is however, often a long wait for it, partly due to things being cooked to order and possibly because there's only one member of staff taking orders and managing the bar. Fine if there's one or two tables in, but not if it gets busier. Not sure if the staff/client ratio changes later in the evening as always go early.

Lovely place, spotlessly clean. Staff were so so friendly and helpful. I didn't eat there but those who did were very impressed with the food and drinks. The food did look fantastic and cooked from scratch. Will go again and next time try the food for myself.

Has potential. Decent value for money but improvements can be made. Will come back for another try. Sunday lunch menu fantastic value for money. Plentiful plates and tasty Sunday Roasts. £3.60 for a crisp pint Stella is fantastic. Muscle Starter - Below Average. Not fresh & gloopy thick sauce Minestrone Soup - Insult to Italy very poor. Kids plates - very good. Pizzas - Good Strawberry Ice cream - Inedible Atmosphere good. Clean restaurant & toilets. Service needs improving Very Poor! My 2 servers total let the restaurant experience down. I appreciate it was the young mans first day but some good advice would be If you are going to work in a restaurant you must learn what Drinks & Food you offer preferably before lunch serve starts. You must show some urgency and want to please not standing in the corner looking at the floor. Took 15 minuets to find out if they had Fanta and 20 minuets to find out what soup of the day was. Lady server just as poor - had to repeat order multiple times, she did not understand how the Sunday Menu worked and request for kids mains to come with adults starters just blew her mind and was not done. Manager seemed to be training these 2 on the job which is unacceptable in the restaurant trade. Each time we needed something it took us to get the servers attention by waving them over. The meal start to finish took too long. Manager - very well mannered and wanted to please, lovely bloke. Your establishment has loads of potential with a few tweaks this could be a gem.

great sunday meal, fab staff despite being short staffed only downside was the gravey it was strange , great value food but alcohol not pub prices. i will definitely be back

FOOD: The hanging kebabs were banging kebabs. All 4 of our group agreed, each having a different meat (lamb, chicken & prawn). You can really taste that they are cooked in a traditional coal fire. Would highly recommend! DRINK: Cocktails all watered down and without fizz (Apperol spritz and gin fizz were both flat). We were given complimentary amaretto shots at the end which was very kind, although these were also clearly watered down. SERVICE: The waiter was very kind hearted. The food took a while, but I don't mind this at all because the end result was delicious, and is what to expect when eating food which has been freshly prepared. ATMOSPHERE: We were the only cover beside a lady and her dog. I like dogs, but when it jumped onto the seat opposite and finished off my brothers bowl of chips (thankfully he didn't want any more) I thought it was a bit out of place in a public restraunt... So much potential, just needs to have an overhaul of the drinks and it will improve no end!

Outstanding food every time we have been , and if your a prawn lover ..... please try the tempura prawns!!!! Wow. Can't wait to go bk

Lovely first visit to Azzurri yesterday x great chargrilled chicken and lamb hanging kebabs followed by homemade tiramasu. We loved the friendly laid back atmosphere in stylishly decorated surroundings. Great craic with our waiter and the owner who made us extremely welcome. Look forward to returning soon x

Unexpectedly great food! Why isn't this place buzzing!

My wife and I went the very 1st day the opened, they were still organising things for opening and I believe we were the 1st customer's, the 2 Gentleman that served us could not have been nicer or friendlier and they chatted and explained that they were literally just opening, Food and atmosphere was lovely and I hope they go on to have a successful business, they even discounted our bill so result all round, Cheers 🥂

So delicious I wanted to lick the plate! The Sunday dinner was an absolute delight! The lamb shoulder was cooked perfectly! And let me tell you, the garlic mussels as a starter were beyond compare, surpassing even the ones I've had in France. Not only was the food exceptional, but the service was also genuinely lovely and welcoming. Without a doubt we’ll be back.

Such a good place to eat! We loved the food and atmosphere and a special shout out to the owner for looking after us so well with a couple of freebies!

We visited Azzurri for the first time tonight and had a lovely meal . Tempura king prawns , a steak and a hanging chicken kebab . All were delicious and the service was excellent .

First time here mother's Day meal arrived to find 3 separate menus on table but then to be told only mother's Day menu will be served 3 course £19.95 two course. £16.95 which was the exact same.items as £12.95 menu 2 course so because it was mother's day they decided to charge extra we advised that they remove the other menus before restaurant begins to fill up and more people will become unhappy with this I watched as table after table filled in restaurant to see unhappy faces being told this, one table was even told if you only have main meal you will be charged the full 2 course price anyway I can not give any more praise to our young server she was rushed off her feet and she tended to our evey need with a smile the manager on the other hand was abrupt to his staff to the point of it making the entire table feel really uncomfortable the food was ok but the entire restaurant experience was spoiled I'd liked to say I would return but I won't I do hope the young server finds better employment where she will be treated better

This was the first time I've ordered from here, I ordered the chicken dinner and it was so lovely, the chicken was cooked beautifully so much flavour and very tender. The gravy was amazing too loved all of it, I would definitely recommend the Sunday dinners they are 😃👍

Decent Sunday lunch. The beef melts in the mouth and is done to medium, rich gravy with beef bits in, veg not too hard, roasties and mash good also, all topped off with a big fluffy Yorkshire. Overall very tasty indeed IMHO one of the best in the area. Will definitely return and try other offerings on the menu.

Been in the restaurant many times for drinks with friends but on this occasion we had food the mixed seafood sharing platter was really good and well worth the price on to the mains I had the hanging chicken with the oil drizzle which was excellent the rest of the party had sea bass, rib eye steak and seafood risotto all delicious so I was told. The service was brilliant and I made a comment regarding the meal and to pass my compliments to the kitchen and the chef came out to thank us which was a nice touch. The staff are welcoming and friendly on a whole a very enjoyable experience.

Just had a lovely Sunday lunch here today. We've ate here a few times and the food is always amazing. Great service every time. Would highly recommend.

First visit last night and most definitely not the last. The food was absolutely amazing. The quality of the food was bursting with flavours and cooked to perfection. Great portion sizes. Starters, main and sweet where all sooooooooo delicious. Our compliments to the chef and staff who made us so welcome and the service was perfect. We also enjoyed several cocktails once again lovely quailty. So looking forward to our next visit.

Very nice food and nice friendly staff . Internally for me it needs a bit of a decorative lift as it looks a bit dated . But great for the food and the staff which are the main considerations for a restaurant I think . We will be visit again no problem 👍.

This was our first visit to this restaurant and I must say it I was impressed. The staff were very welcoming and attentative throughout, our meal was lovely, we will certainly be visiting again real soon.
