Have been coming here on/off for months. The food is really good. There is however, often a long wait for it, partly due to things being cooked to order and possibly because there's only one member of staff taking orders and managing the bar. Fine if there's one or two tables in, but not if it gets busier. Not sure if the staff/client ratio changes later in the evening as always go early.

Popped in for three course Sunday lunch and few cocktails. What can I say portion size were excellent and food quality great. We were so pleased to find this gem of a place. The sauce on the start chicken wings was amazing. Spice and full of flavour. Then main came out pork Sunday dinner. The size and quality of meal was lush. Then sticky toffee pudding to finish was excellent. £25/26 it was worth every penny. Cheap 2-4-1 cocktails were great too. Staff were lovely and attentive. The restaurant itself might not look best from the outside but within it has homely and nice vibes. Will definatly return.

Flat white coffee was okay. There are seatings in the back shared between neighboring restaurants. Thank you

I’ve been to St. Vincent twice now and had a very underwhelming visit both times. The space is very cramped and very dark, which might be your vibe but I like to feel comfortable and see my food. I must say the focaccia is lovely, and the desserts are fine but that’s about all I can say. On my most recent trip I got the walnut tagliatelle which was impressively bland and stodgy. Maybe it was my fault for ordering the pasta but I was left feeling like I probably could have done a better job myself at home which is not what you want to think after spending a lot of money on dinner. My partner ordered the steak which comes with a small bowl of roast potatoes…and that’s it. You’d think for £48 they would maybe chuck a few glazed carrots or some other vegetable on the side. Apparently not. The service was great, I can’t fault that (I do feel bad for the staff carrying that massive blackboard of daily specials round the cramped seating all night) but for an almost £200 bill I want to be impressed by more than the staff. I think it’s all a little style over substance, but if moody dark wine bars with oysters are your thing then hopefully you’ll love it.
