The best restaurants serving Italian food in London

Loved this place the first time I ate here. So after checking their website to make sure they were open (til 11pm) I went back. Time,money, and reveal crowded buses later they were NOT open. Really irritated and discouraged. Won’t be back.

Desde el exterior, y el interior, parece una pizzería local barata. Lo elegimos solo porque era conveniente y nos quedaba poco tiempo. El Risotto Alla Marinara y Spaghetti Marinara fueron increíblemente buenos. Las bebidas mixtas eran generosas y buenas.

Convenient location, high quality food

Terrible experience. Only 2 tables were occupied in the restaurant, and it took over 45 mins to get out one starter. The main courses (4) were all tasteless, and dire. We complained at the time when the waiter asked us "hows the food", we told him it was awful, but by then we had waited so long to receive food (over an hour for the main course), we were that hungry, we ate it. The chips were about the best thing we endured, we didn't moan about the chips being 6.50 pounds, but when we got them, it was less than a full potato! LOL We did laugh about this in the end.

Really disappointed to write this as have been to Brutto on many occasions during the last few years and was one of my favourite places to go. Not any more unfortunately. The food is still ok however what lets it down massively are the staff. The front of house was so arrogant and unfriendly it was almost comical. Although I did note he was jovial with another table - maybe they were “important”. Our waitress continually told us we had the table for 2 hours..yes we know! Such a shame. Won’t be back, glad I got to experience it when it was good

Ordered it for years, suddenly changed settings on ubereats so they won't deliver to me even though I live 12 minutes away. Reached out to customer service who advised I "stop by their Waterloo branch"... I live in Croydon, I just want to order as usual from the Croydon branch.. now it's disappeared off deliveroo altogether and still won't allow me to order delivery from Ubereats.. has Crust Bros boxpark Croydon secretly shut down? If not this is total silliness... you are losing business for literally no sensible reason..

My girlfriend and I visited Chucs earlier this week and we had a great time. I ordered pizza margherita and got probably the best margherita that I've ever tried in London, while she had the lobster linguine, which was tasty but it came in a fairly small portion. We also shared a non-alcoholic cocktail, which was very refreshing, and a portion of crème brûlée, which was undoubtedly better than any that I've tried outside of France. The atmosphere in the restaurant was great and the service was top-notch. It's worth noting that we booked through First Table and we got 50% off on most of the items we ordered, otherwise we would have thought twice about going as the restaurant is a bit on the pricey side.

Some of the best food we have had out in a long time, everything was delicious and the staff were so friendly. The Cheddar mash is a must by the way!

The food and ambience is very good. We love coming here. However the staff, one in particular is very rude and upset our guests. Which was very disappointing and completely uncalled for. #owl

No regrets. Stop reading the reviews and try a slice!

I wouldn’t feed my dog with this crap they try to pass off as food. The people here can’t make a coffee to save their lives

We have been to this restaurant several times for private events and always loved it. It is a lovely family run business with fantastic atmosphere, great hospitality and lovely food.
