Best pizza place in Muswell Hill. You can often walk in, order and eat in or take away in five minutes. Mozzarella is good quality and the crusts are perfect.

What a lovely place I used to come here a lot many years ago when it first opened and it's still good. The dough is so light and I never feel bloated. Very friendly staff members. Also, the espresso in here beats any coffee shop in muswell hill.

Only ever ordered takeaway, but it's by far the best pizza we've ever had in London - authentic, quick and consistently delicious. Not the place for a comforting deep-pan meat & tomato Chicago pie, but if you love real classic Italian pizza with fresh ingredients on a good stretched base then this is the one. We've also stopped in at the shop-front gelato stand from time to time, and it's always a treat on a hot day, with quick & friendly service.

Came here on a *Saturday afternoon, was relatively quiet, was hesitant at first but fancied pizza and this looked like a good local stop at Muswell Hill. Was not disappointed at all, I can't have dairy or tomatoes, so I'm mainly limited to white pizzas with vegan cheese. The pizza was so tasty, I ate a slice and immediately on my second slice, gave compliments to the owner that caught my eyes. It was crispy, light, piping hot and flavourful, not sure what more I could ask for. Good stuff! And hope to try you again when I'm next in the neighborhood!

Emilia - unfortunately, the crust was too burnt. Overall the dough was nice and light (wasn't a heavy meal). However, this is most probably because not much dough was used, it was quite thin in the center. Calzone - heads-up to anyone who orders this, it isn't stuffed. Only have the sausage inside and some cheese. It's topping are on top, so basically a pizza shaped as a calzone. Unfortunately, also found a hair inside (which is why it looses an extra star in the rating). Focaccia - this dish isn't a focaccia, I'm from south of Italy. This is a folded pizza with toppings in the middle, more like a small calzone. It's the type of dough that's wrong. Tiramisú - wasn't very good, not surprised it was free. A bit disappointed as prices doesn't match food quality.

We ordered two pizzas and they were both dreadful with really soggy, wet bases and a very mean amount of toppings. On mine the menu said it included anchovy and I eventually found just one tiny little piece. I threw most of my pizza away. We won’t order from them again.

Always so delicious and quickly delivered to my home piping hot. Staff are very polite and helpful one of my favourite places for Food at Muswell Hill. Highly recommend. Was so good it was eaten in 60 seconds didn’t get a chance to get a picture lol x

Very unexpectedly terrible thought I’d try this small pizza place as opposed to other chains and the service was terrible, took to long to get my order. As for the pizza itself it had hard crusts cheese was overcooked and you can tell the dough is NOT fresh

On a very cold day, this authentic Napoli pizza warmed my heart and appetite.

Wow just wow what a surprise I stumbled on this place looking for something warm for lunch, I ordered a folded pizza like item (number (2) of the Focacce Ripienes) , it was incredible, the dough was perfect fluffy but also a bit crispy took me back to some of the best pizzas I had when visiting Napoli.

The vegan pizza was so so delicious and the dough was perfection. Had a really good aperol spritz too. Loved it!

Ordered from this place through UberEats, so we're reviewing our at-home experience. Our overall experience was: Pizza was way sub-par, honestly, one of the worst margheritas I have ever had in London... didn't taste fresh at all. We got charged £6 for the smallest, tastes-of-nothing tiramisu ever had and on top of that none of the sides we had ordered (chips, arancini ragu etc) even arrived...

Unfortunately, only good thing about this pizza is dough, every other ingredient is cheap and lazy - the worst olives from jar, aubergine and courgette -supposedly rosted - was just thrown, fresh chopped on pizza, plus I leave note to be without onions, I found lots of them. This restaurant have big potential to be amazing, I would rather pay little more for good ingredients than eat lazy prepared food.

Love this place. Have been here many times. The pizza is superb. Mainly a takeaway as it’s a small place, but there are a few tables. We like to eat in, the guys are friendly, and the place has a great atmosphere. Warm and and cozy.

I ordered 2 pizza,usually was very nice but the last time( today ) I was really disappointed : 2 pound to add roasted peppers...received 4 small pieces, not even half pepper

Not sure where to go for lunch and stumbled past this place. The lunch menu was pretty cheap £7 but really tasty. We sat in the restaurant which is small but large enough for three tables. The staff were helpful and friendly and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a tasty pizza.

We ordered a pizza through one of the ordering apps. The driver cancelled for some reason and then another driver came to pick the order one and a half hour later. We called the pizza store to ask what happened and they admitted to us that the pizza is ready all this time but they blamed the ordering app. We told them not to send the pizza as it will be old but they did send it anyway. They didn’t want to make a fresh pizza when the driver arrived but wanted to send us the old pizza. The driver came with two old cold pizzas and both parties blamed each other. Very unprofessional service and we will never order again from them.

Quite disappointed. Our pizzas had no cheese and they were very cold and chewy. I suppose they had finished the mozzarella and decided to go on with the order without it. I hope it was an accident, but for now I can certainly say that today I ate the worst pizza of my life.

I had to wait for 2 hours to have the pizza delivered (the delivery driver got lost in the process). I had to ring a few times, they event mentioned they will send me another pizza and when after 2 hours I finally received the pizza it was really cold so I had to throw it away. (Amici Miei 2 go did not care to replace it and did not refund me) For £15 for a pizza I was expecting a better customer service!

Very friendly team. Pizzas are generally good with lovely thin bases. A few things that would make our experience better is if they a) slice the pizzas, b) quote delivery times that reflect actual delivery times, c) strive for consistency. Sometimes pizzas lack enough toppings or taste, other times the pizzas are really good.

My first pizza from Amici Miei was warm and with a toppings I wanted. I have ordered over the phone then collected in person. I had one ordered for my partner too. He said it is a very good pizza. Well, definitely better then at the chained restaurant down the road. I think when you try a good pizza then you will never go for a level down. Top class service and friendly place to order for home delivery or eat in. Thumb up!

Not a bad pizza - very classic Italian style (floppy AF) - I felt the base could have been a little crispier as even for this style it was very thin and stodgy. It seemed a little undercooked. I rebaked it myself upon arrival. I also really felt like paying over £10 for bread, tomato sauce, mozzarella and a few basil leaves is a bit of a piss take. (edited for awful spelling!)

2nd time this has happened to me in 3 months so not a one off and I won't be giving another chance - shame as they are local and I would rather not use big chains. Ordered in person to go and was told 5-10 min wait. I came back 10 mins later and the guy said 5 more mins. Sat at table waiting for another 10 mins and was told any minute when stood up to ask. Long story - they literally started putting the rubbish out to shut and said 'oh, are you waiting'. They weren't particularly busy - about 6 boxes went out in the half hour I was waiting at the shop. Just totally disorganised. Tried to offer a canned soft drink as apology. May have had lucky escape as I watched 'chef' sneeze all over the dough he was kneading as I waited for money back!

Burnt pizzas, with no discernible trace of mozzarella on any if they ones we’d ordered. Why?! Also, incredibly salty crust. Trued them twice now, to give benefit of the doubt, never again.

One of the best pizzas I've ever had! They said people leave reviews for two reasons only: If you love or rate something, that is true for me! I saw one star review saying that the pizza was 'too thin and tasted like tomato sauce'....Well, be aware: If you like your pizza 'fast food style', with a thick bread, tons of cheese and cheap pepperoni, this pizza is not really for you! Instead, you will get a Neapolitan-style, with a silky, full flavoured tomato sauce (which is an Italian signature), good quality toppings and indeed served in a thin-but-soft-well-fermented-tang-doughy crust! Which for me is without a doubt the recipe for the finest pizza! This pizza is one of my favourite dishes when I am treating myself. I travel with work constantly– I am a yoga teacher exclusively for 5 star hotels chains and work as a model which also requires traveling, I had been served lovely foods; Yet, for my taste Amici Miei, have nailed their recipe. Sadly (and understandably) I notice a decline in the ingredients in some places I used to order food from. since the lockdown, but AM are keeping their high standards which is lovely! Finally, I feel lucky, as I live nearby, and in my opinion this local place has indeed one of the best pizzas in town. Amazing wood fired pizza! Discoved this little gem during the lockdown and they haven't let me down yet. Takeaway and Delivery are both quick. Personally if you nearby, just order over the phone and you'll be able to collect it within 10min.

Authentic Italian pizza and amazing value for their lunchtime special - Bellissimo!

Ordered 4 pizzas one with added olives, they all got olives added. Not great for the kids. Ordered a vegetarian pizza, it tasted strongly of anchovies, not great for a vegetarian, one other pizza also tasted strongly of anchovies. Out of the 4 pizzas one was eaten and 3 ended up in the bin. Its a shame as the one that was good was very good but I will not be back.

I have made few orders over the last months but in few occasions either we got completely the wrong order or as last time, they did not deliver the chips...I was told these would have been sent but no one turned up - so a gift of £3. Also I was put on hold three times without no one picking up the phone. Will not order again sorry.

It’s the third time I order pizza from them, I had to write a review! The staff is really really kind and the pizza are delicious. I enjoyed every last bit... tasty with fresh ingredients, you can’t go wrong.

Best pizza with loads of options and flavours.

Spoilt for choice in Muswell Hill we came here because of the lunch offer. £5 got us a 12" Margerita pizza, freshly cooked. Despite a few people ahead of us it came within 5 minutes. It was perfectly cooked and they were happy to let us eat our takeaway pizza on seats outside.

Only had two scoops of sorbet but they were really tasty

Pizzas are good - I spend £50+ a week on takeaways for the family. I just put a £60+ order in, called back to ask if they could add some extra mozzarella to one of the pizzas. I was told I was being “cheeky” as mine “wasn’t a big order” and “we don’t give stuff away for free” - so I had to pay the extra £1.50. Really feel like a valued customer. May start going to some of the Crouch End places.

They never cut it for you and when I remember to request this it is fine but mostly, I forget. Amici, can’t you just cut the pizza as standard practice?! The whole point of ordering a take out is so you (we) can have a ready to eat meal. When you have to cut up four pizzas, it is annoying. Pizzas are paper thin but we don’t mind that as they are still very filling.

Lovely pizzas and fast delivery

We have bought a few pizzas during lockdown from Amici Mei and they have been nice. Today we ordered 4 pizzas for a birthday lunch and 2 were very burnt and 2 were just about alright to eat if you ate round half the black crust. As the kids were hungry we kept the 2 edible ones and called the shop about the other 2. The guy said to bring them in, which we did - hunting for a parking space etc. When my partner got in, the chef said the Napoli was undercooked ( it was black on top!) and margherita was ok ( it was also burnt on top) ! Despite my having called them in advance, driven 5 mins down the road and hunted for parking, no joy. Really disappointing as we had had a few good pizzas but 4 burnt ones make for poor odds of always getting an edible pizza. Very rude and dismissive chef. Luckily soon the other better pizzerias will be open soon. I would say give your money to someone who gives a ....

Excellent take away service. Pizza was superb (reminded us of quintessential Tuscan pizza), which is how pizza should be. Forgot a dip and driver came back without us even asking - customer service at its best.

I gave the benefit of the doubt a few times now but surely the chef saw the pizza before he put it in the box. This happened to me a few times with amici Miei and this would be the last time. Stop burning pizzas it’s not for human consumption and bad for our health. !!

The pizza used to be great here, but sadly it’s really horrible now. Just ordered 3 pizzas, all too thin, no cheese, and tasted like tomato purée. I don’t normally write reviews but i felt I had to when these pizzas are quite expensive but really not nice. Will not be buying ever again!

Unprofessional staff, shop owner lets dogs in. I have severe allergies and this is my first time being here, will never eat here. For me that's a breach of health and safety. Dogs should remain outside and not in a small space near food. As a customer it is severely off putting.

Unasuming tiny pizza place that serves very good quality pizzas at reasonable prices. Good variety of toppings on real italian thin base. Garlic bread is a real treat when accompanied by one of the italian beers on offer.

If you willing to go and pick up they have a £5 lunch time pizza. Delivery service is mostly good. When I had issues they fixed it. Use to love the homemade tiramisu. But latly ist not as good as it used to be.
