Bought a piece of Baked Cheesecake. Dry, and unpalatable. Generally disappointed

First time decided to sit and have a brunch at Roni’s and it was fantastic food. Royal breakfast on sourdough bread 🫶🏻 delish

Charging 8.95 for a salt beef bagel wrapped in plastic made who knows when. Absolute joke! 6 members of staff and they can't make you a fresh sandwich....

I’ve been many times at Roni’s and they are always so lovely and they have so nice coffee. customer service was excellent staff was so attentive and always asked me if they could help with anything else. I don’t know why this place has so much bad reviews, it’s so lovely and the coffee taste amazing!

Asked for a bagel with chicken only - no pickle no salad no nothing. Guy goes out the back and removes the pickle only and heats it up - including the Mayo- and hands it over. I find out too late when my son starts eating it and refuses to finish it due to the filling being wrong. Plus they charged £8 for the privilege. Poor. Will not be back.

My favorite spot to have coffee. Very nice atmosphere. The staff are always friendly. Definitely recommend.

Tears are the word that need to be written. I come for this day with my niño Fernando junior. He must eat bagel for early onset diabeetie becos (he is 9 años) for sugar blood. Unfortunate for us the place is dirty, I think the bagel is cook by the cucaracha , because it smell of bug. The woman who blonde serve me, she is with no happy in the soul, an empty whole like we find in bagel. I fly to Spain, I dream to find bagel with no hole.

Blonde woman (looked like a manager or supervisor?) serving me was really rude. Everyone else was super lovely. I work in hospitality and would never talk to a customer the way she did. Coffee was pretty bad.. but maybe I got unlucky

Quite possibly the best breakfast in town. We spend 7 nights in Muswell Hill and had breakfast every morning here. Weekends with 9 people. A great breakfast is nothing without service. The staff and service were phenomenally friendly and helpful. Great coffee, fresh baked goods and breakfast variety.

We had breakfast few times while visiting London. The variety, healthy fresh food was impressive. The service was very welcoming and the waitress was open to do changes in the menu to accommodate kid’s diet. Very tasty fresh treats from the bakery were a nice treat at the of the meal. Thanks so much Hamza for everything, we love this Roni’s at Muswell Hill and will come again on our next visit to London.

Outstanding broccoli! I just had lunch at Roni's and was very happy with the quality of the products... specially the Salmon/broccoli/roast potatoes with a very generous portions. Service was excellent too! with very kind people always with a nice smile. Highly recommend it!

Ronis has always been a staple in my household since me and the wife love treating our children to it at certain hallmark points in their life. It was a pleasure today to meet my daughter's first girlfriend for the first time and treat them to a tasty brunch! The smoothie really blew us all away and was a great way to start making conversation with this girl who's now a part of the family. If we had been at any other cafe I doubt me or my daughter would have felt remotely as comfortable as we did so thank you Ronis as always. - A loyal customer and family man

Terrible baby changing facilities, unhygienic toilet area. Staff inattentive, sitting on their phones, staring into space, not much of a service. I had to ask one staff member twice where the toilets were despite being stood directly infront of him. Kitchen doesn’t look the cleanest. I may not have ordered had I seen the kitchen first. I ordered the chicken club sandwich, very bland, basic.

I've been living in Muswell Hill for 3 years, and been taking my mother there for breakfast every Sunday. The menu is great and varied (my favourites are: the vegetarian breakfast, the healthy breakfast, the "tricolore" and the shakshuka). Pastries are fresh, orange juice is freshly squeezed and they have a great selection of cakes and salads. The place is very convivial, and staff are friendly. The place is usually quite busy, full of families and their children, but staff always make sure to find you a table. Not only would I recommend this place, but I can't understand why some people would leave such negative (if not ridiculous) reviews .

I’ve been coming every week to this restaurant for over 2 years. The staff are lovely, the food is great. I can’t understand why some people would post such negative reviews. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Went and had a lovely coffee in comfy jolly surroundings. Not overcrowded. Very nice. Also bought some bagels which I've had before and were best I've had in the whole of London!

80p if you want alternative milk in your coffee. Its just gone way too expensive. There's cheaper places in MH with lovely coffee. No need to be ripped off here

Just bought a tiramisu there, the top was dried up rock solid, tiramisu itself was spoiled with rotten-sour aftertaste

Food was great but the service was disappointing. They forgot to take my order and I had to wait for a while before I was able to get their attention. Same happened when I asked to pay, just waiting for ages. And this was during a time when it was not busy, there were only two other customers in at the time, and several staff members around. They also automatically add service charge. Still giving it 4 stars as the food was good, however customer service should be improved.

Went earlier today for a brunch with my wife, wasn’t particularly busy. Waited for 10 minutes to see if anyone was coming to give us menus etc, when they didn’t I got up to ask for the menu myself. After waiting another 15 minutes no one had come to our table yet. After 25 minutes of us being there, 3 other tables had come in after us (2 individuals and a table of 2 others)- the waitress went to take their orders first and completely walked past our table several times. Naturally I left, as at this point no one had come to wipe the table which was dirty, take our order or to even say that they are coming, which is a shame as my only other experience of Roni’s was good and I work locally so would be nice to have a place to pop into for lunch as they do have nice food, but won’t be returning after today. Next time I’ll go to a place where I am actually acknowledged as a human being.

So I popped in to get something sweet to eat And saw some small jam donuts on the counter I got 12 which was £15.60 not cheap but treat the family got home very little jam in them never again not good guys 😡

I tried to contact the bakery via Instagram to let them know but they told me that this bag of bagels wasn't purchased at their shop. Not sure why I would lie about that? Anyway, there was a fly inside the bag. I wouldn't recommend this place

Fresh homemade sandwiches and tasty.

The review reporting staff hitting a customer with a chair is totally untrue. I am a regular customer and was present to witness the incident. The member of staff was extremely polite on asking the person to leave but he became aggressive towards her and threatening and the police were called by other staff members and customers. This is an extremely welcoming shop with great staff and food and the staff there would never throw a chair at their customers as their customers are their livelihood. This is false information and I would encourage you to come and visit to see for yourselves

I just witnessed a staff member hitting a young man with a chair outside the shop , then a pole . Wouldn’t visit this place with such aggressive staff . The Police were called and the i actually saw the lady lie and say she was spat on -Really shocked at what I witnessed . Will not be my spending money in this place .

We had a delicious salad and sabich…but the star was clearly the bagels which flew off the shelves by the bagful as well as pre-filled. Will have to give them a try next time we are there.

Amazing customer service, it’s like a little hidden gem and the pastries and cakes are absolutely delicious and decadent with reasonable prices. It’s clean and although it’s right on the broadway it’s sound proof and you can’t hear any noise from outside.

Lunch wasn't special. However we love the bagels and pita bread from the bakery. Always freshly out of the oven and super delicious.

Came into ronis for a meal with my partner yesterday. Food was amazing as always. But I must say service was exceptional and the two lovely girls maddie and jubayda were so welcoming and friendly. Service with a smile is always great!

I come today afternoon with my husband was women behind till and man with long hair he was touching his hair all the time in front of costumers , the women she didn’t even bother her self till when I ask for someone to take order , the man he come and still touching his hair he took the order after that she served us without any smile the food was ok but service was very bad

I've been living in this area only since December and I wish I've frequented Ronis much sooner. In any case their English Breakfast is superb. Massive portion and super fresh ingredients. I will def visit again.

I was about to place an order via Deliveroo, then I found out that the venue has a very low food hygene rating, which is 2 out of 5 stars, as reported on the Deliveroo app

Maybe i was unlucky, but having tasted £7.95 for a BLT panini, i was extremely disappointed. There was little ingredients and tasteless, after one bite i should have gone back in the place and complained, but thought where is that going to get me. Once bitten, twice shy, never again.

I got a full English - the chips could have been better. Maybe not the best for a full English but the other breakfast dishes were nice

This was jolly good, we had a nice cup of tea in a warm window seat and table looking out on the world and enjoyed a quiet chat. We didn't try the food but it looked quite appetising and there is a bakery section at the back and thete were a few remaining breads on sale, meaning I suppose that they had had quite a few sales that day! Anyway it was very clean and tidy and welcoming and we shall go again.

Terrible place. Worst Salt Beef sandwich I’ve ever had in my entire life.

Like previous reviewer I would give 0 if I could! Had poor service- ignored for ages when not even busy so had to go up and order. The person behind the counter was on her phone and seemed irritated by this! My partner had the salt beef sandwich which was thin and very chewy and found it almost inedible. I had the Greek salad which was basically a whole cucumber with a few scattering sof feta cheese and olives. No dressing and we had to ask for condiments which they got wrong. The last straw was the bill which was wrong as well as extortionate. I asked them to correct it and then deduct the 5.30 service charge - appalling place, rude staff and tasteless horrible food! Perhaps we ordered the wrong things on the wrong day but will not return and definitely don't recommend!

WOULD GIVE 0 STARS IF I COULD! Absolutely hideous. £11.95 for a salt beef sandwich that was thinner than my hand. Only three pieces of thin, tough, grey, salt beef which I didn't even eat - see picture. Totally inedible. I tried and failed. Salt beef sandwiches should be full of meat, red and supple, spilling out from between the bread - this was anything but. I regret not taking a photo of the whole sandwich to show you, but only photographed the horrible meat which I pulled out of the sandwich and did not eat. The cutlery was dirty as well. One of the worst meals I've ever had, egregiously expensive for somewhere so vile. Never returning and I'd urge you to stay away as well.

Vile woman working at the till. Incredibly rude and apathetic. £9 for a falafel wrap that comes with hummous inside, asked for bit more hummous, told me to buy a tub for £4 from the fridge. Aside from this ridiculous suggestion, her manner was despicable for someone in customer service. I urge management to watch how your staff treats your customers.

Used to come here every day sometimes a couple times a day - but the coffee has gone up so much in price I can't justify going here anymore. I understand times are tough but it's not competitive anymore. I really loved your coffee!

The salted beef bagel had so much hot mustard in it that it was impossible to eat. The outside tables are not comfortable to sit on because of the bus stop next to it with buses coming every minute.

Service is awful and the customer service lacks respect. The food here comes cold and lacks flavour.Never again

The almond pretzel is a must try! All their pastries are nice but the pretzel is amazing and I have never seen it anywhere else before.

We liked it and will come back again. We really liked the giant salmon bagel. It was indeed giant and tasted really nice. The addition of onion to the salmon and cream cheese was a great idea. We also had the club sandwich which was good. Nice pleasant environment.Good americano as well served in a beautiful long mug.

Leaving 1 star review after seeing when member of staff asked elderly lady to stop sitting on the chair outside the Caffè. She was waiting for a bus which waiting time was longer than usually. Request would be understandable during busy business hours. Just observing this gesture I wish for this business owners to remind staff that act's kindness brings the great value to us all.

Delicious fresh food, generous portions, lovely owner and staff. We came for brunch and had breakfast for two, got a full Israeli breakfast, with proper bread basket, lovely made eggs and lots of dips and fresh cut salad. Kids had great food as well from the kids menu. They also have a deli there and fresh baked goods, bread and bagels. Highly recommended and will definitely come back!

The mixed salad comprising tomatoes, cucumbers, red onion, olives and feta cheese with nice oil is very tasty.....not dissimilar to some of the fellow patrons from my observation and staff for that matter. A lunch menu for a 2 hour window offering a deal of some kind might be a valuable proposition.

The menu here is fantastic and the food is just as delicious as the menu promises. Unfortunately the service can be a bit 'hit and miss' or I'd have scored them four stars. UPDATE: Due to the lack of an accessible toilet I am unable to return here. Toilets are down a very narrow, winding staircase and, when you reach them, they are very narrow in themselves. It must be possible to adapt the ground floor to add an accessible toilet at the cost of the loss of some tables to the rear of the restaurant.

Ambiguous receipt description and no price on display for the tiny cookies they have. Just paid £4.80 for 4 of them...£1.20 each!!! Also wrongly labelled on the receipt as "Miscellaneous food" and "Miscellaneous drink". I would never step to this place again!!

Very disappointing. Salad was tasteless, lack of dressing and no seasoning. Bagel was OK. Kids meal was overcooked and completely dry. Oh and kids meals are only about 50p cheaper than adult dishes!

I love the food and coffee here, but it's so unnerving to see that staff are still not wearing masks.

We had a dreadful experience here sadly. The food actually looked really nice, but having arrived at 4.45, we were seated and given a menu only to have a waitress appear at 4.58 and say the kitchen closed at 5pm (not yet 5pm of course at that stage!) She flatly refused to serve us with little more than a pathetic "sorry", and so we had to go elsewhere. A rather baffling approach to business in a pandemic where hospitality is 'struggling to survive' wouldn't you agree??!!

I sometimes go in for a coffee as they do a good Americano. However, I took my wife yesterday and had a fairly poor experience. We had a coffee, hot chocolate and a single slice of cake which came to £10.10. I thought this was fairly expensive but expected it to be pretty good so didn't mind. However, a few minutes later, the waitress came over to our table carrying the card reader and asked me to pay an additional 90p. She explained that she was new and hadn't realised there was an additional charge to sit in. I was a bit taken aback at how incredibly petty this was so just paid up. On reflection, I would have asked for a refund on that basis alone and taken my custom elsewhere. I felt bad for the waitress as it must have been embarrassing to have your boss ask you to chase up such a small amount for a simple error. The cake itself was not very good; there were only two slices left when we arrived so the fact it was dry and tasted stale might indicate it had been out for some time. Whilst the coffee was good as ever, the whole experience was not worth £11 and I won't visit again.

Pre-Barmitzvah Dinner We had a Friday night dinner at Roni’s - we hired the restaurant exclusively - for my son’s pre-Barmitzvah dinner last weekend. I worked with Nicole on menus and gave her an idea of what we wanted in terms of atmosphere, format and logistics, I then left it to Nicole and her team to organise. The service and food were excellent, Nicole’s team were on hand to deal with everything we needed and nothing was too much trouble. It was a pleasure to be there, it was totally stress free and did EXACTLY what we wanted it to do. It is not a cheap option, my only comment is that there with no negotiation on price (regardless if people were drinking or not) and as the restaurant is usually closed in the evening it felt a bit expensive. That aside it was a lovely evening and worked seamlessly for us. Thank you.

I was so impressed with this place! Everything is so clean, the staff are fast and friendly, and their bagels are nice :) I am from the east coast in the US, so I take my bagels VERY seriously. These are chewier, softer in the middle, but i really enjoyed them. My iced latte was nice too :) Will definitely be coming back!
