I went off pizza some years ago, but we needed somewhere everyone could eat and Sacro Cuore was recommended to us. We had such a good meal in such a relaxing atmosphere that I'm sure I'll go again. The service was excellent. The children were occupied colouring a scene the staff member brought and she took our order promptly, but without rushing us. She was also cheerful about packing up the leftovers. I ordered the bruschetta, which was great - and too large to finish (see above) - and a crispy green salad. My companions tucked into their pizza and kept going on about how more-ish it was to the point that I sampled a slice. They were right: a crispy and flavourful base and topping neither over- nor undercooked. The hazelnut ice cream was unusually wonderful, with actual hazelnuts. And the coffee was good. Our meal was served well before the children became restive. The loos were perfectly clean.

We went to this place as a second choice as the other pizzeria just down the road was closed and we thought that this could have been a valid alternative, how wrong we were ! We were the first to arrive and yet we waited half an hour before we were served and considering that the pizza takes less than 2 minutes to cook that was quite a stretch! My buffalo margherita was edible although in some parts I could taste some kind of (you know when you leave a wet rag for a long time and it has that unpleasant smell ?) My wife had the tartufo one who which had some water residue underneath the pizza making it quite soggy, probably due to the uncooked mushrooms very likely coming from a jar. Well, soon afterwards when we were out and about she had to rush to a toilet. I read some reviews saying that there was a jolly atmosphere, maybe in the evening, at lunch it was almost “Glacial” or Tomb like! the only really positive note was Battisti’s music playing in the background.

Awful pizza no toppings at all - edges burnt and dough not cooked properly. Very poor value for money. Would not order again.

I keep coming back. Born and raised near Naples and for me this is the best real pizza in London. The dough is flavoursome, the ingredients are good and the pizza is definitely to die for. OK the service is not the best but who cares when the food is gorgeous?

Went with my son, we had two very nice pizzas. Not many veggie options so I asked for a Napoli and if I could exchange the anchovies for some parmesan shavings. Pizza came without parmesan shavings so I asked if they could be added. Then when the bill came I was charged an extra £1.50 even though I had not had an 'extra' topping. Waiters were all laughing very loudly with each other behind the counter and not really bothered about serving. Waitress serving our table was chewing very smelly gum with her mouth open. Very off putting. Won't be going back because of such poor service.

Had 2 takeaway pizzas. As an Italian who knows my pizza, unfortunately I can say that the pizza dough was a really of cheap quality, the tomato was very little, the mozzarella not authentic and also cheap tasting. Overall pizza was sloppy, watery and tasteless, no love. Please sort it out if you want to retain customers.
