The best restaurants serving Italian food in East Midlands

I've been a big fan of Zizzi's lasagne for years but today was the first time hubby ordered lasagne too - and of course we both loved our meal. Nia took our order and was a delight. She was quick to make sure we ordered our drinks and take our order for food and all done with a lovely smile. When our food arrived it was piping hot and so tasty. The balance of the melt in your mouth pasta to meat sauce and bechamel was so good all topped off with a sprinkle of crunch. We also had the green side salad served with a tasty dressing and wonderful cheese shavings. We will be back!

There are no napkins at all on the salt. The coffee is not very high quality. But for the village it will do.

a group of us (4) were going to a show at the Haymarket. We parked st the Haymarket car park. it's a short walk Ask. We ate on a Saturday night. We'd booked, but there was plenty of space. Service was really good and friendly. There was loads of choice on the menu and the food was really good.

This is now Verona. I loved every mouthful. The cocktails are awesome. Definitely going back.

Just eaten here. Food was awesome. Exceeded my expectations. Nice ambience, good selection of music playing. They have a huge roof terrace at the back which is a total sun trap in the afternoon:)

Of you are going with a group of 4 use the family bundle wich is fifty pounds and order the raspberry sorbet it was lucoious

Started off good, but went slightly downhill due to wait times , long wait on drinks food came in good time and tasted good , but it was very cold had to wear my jumper and needed a jacket that I didn’t have, and unfortunately that’s enough to make me not want to return

Great selection of meats, I had a mix of all of them with chips. Tasty, but very very very greasy. I started to regret this food option the next day. My friend had the chicken wrap which he said was alright. I would go back to try something else on the menu as it could of been a poor choice that I made

2nd visit in a few weeks, and they're still doing well. Thank heavens for vouchers though!

We visited last night, and we really enjoyed everything! Service was delightful, a big shout out to the hostess, Sylwia!! Really accommodating and really helpful 😊😊 Lorna our server was absolutely brilliant! We will definitely be back! We already have our next holiday booked in February and we definitely be back 😊😊

A great place with a pleasant atmosphere. The food was amazing, the team were very accommodating to the allergies in the group and very well informed. Really happy and would totally recommend!

The best part of the visit was the location/setting. This is our second visit we were not impressed first time two years ago but decided to try it again for Sunday Lunch. Our opinion has not changed the food was under welming and overpriced, meat was swamped in gravy, roast potatoes not crisp. Two courses for 29.50 were starter and main, we feel there should be an option of main and desert. There are far better offerings locally

Didn't get food here but as soon as we stepped in the venue it was first things I noticed were touches of floral decor, the lighting and the music. Which as someone who enjoys music which you can bounce your shoulders to, set a great vibe. There are tables that accommodate groups to enjoy drinks or food. As the evening goes on they clear the tables to allow more room for dancing and a dj.
