Zizzi - Nottingham in Nottingham

I've been a big fan of Zizzi's lasagne for years but today was the first time hubby ordered lasagne too - and of course we both loved our meal. Nia took our order and was a delight. She was quick to make sure we ordered our drinks and take our order for food and all done with a lovely smile. When our food arrived it was piping hot and so tasty. The balance of the melt in your mouth pasta to meat sauce and bechamel was so good all topped off with a sprinkle of crunch. We also had the green side salad served with a tasty dressing and wonderful cheese shavings. We will be back!

i came here to enjoy an evening for my friends 18th birthday as a celebration. food was delicious just a shame the staff gave such mean girl vibes. we felt so uncomfortable and the service was so so slow.

Visited with my husband on Saturday 31st August, our meal was excellent and really good portions. We received excellent service from Serena and Nicholas. We have visited this branch many times but felt the service had stepped up on this visit which was good to see. Nothing to fault but a small observation is they seem to be sitting everyone in the small upstairs area rather than the larger downstairs part, they have been doing this for a while now and im not sure if its because business has tailed off and they cant fill the bigger area, so as a result it can get quite packed in upstairs - i would suggest booking in advance.

On a day trip from Sheffield we popped in to Zizzi’s for lunch.

Really nice meal, the set menu is a great deal and we enjoyed every bit. Our server, Sharan was very attentive and lovely

We were seated in the top area due to my immobility. Was served quite promptly despite it being very busy. Food was hot and very tasty. Was a little bit loud for my personal preference as loads of large parties of kids. But it was nice to see kids out.... so I can't complain about that. Nice vegan options for me, but was too stuffed to manage pudding. Maybe next time!!!

My friend and I always choose Zizzi for out quarterly meet ups , a lot of the time in different cities. In Nottingham, today we were being served by a very nice person (think their name was Nicholas) Made the experience very pleasant 😊 Great conversation and vibes

My friend had treated me to a show at the theatre royal. We booked a table for 6 pm so we had time to relax & eat before the performance. I arrived early & the nice young lady at the entrance was seating other customers so I sat on a chair to wait for my friend. Having completed 30 years of catering in many roles , I was staggered at the amount of business you lost on the door as the young lady was clearly stretched , serving drinks , meals & in & out of the kitchen. Where all your staff were I don’t know! Golden rule is the first impression, customers standing at the door , & either the manager or assistant glued to the role of meet & greet. I observed for more than half an hour & it was appalling , a party of 8 arrived , they agreed to go downstairs to an empty restaurant & wait for 45 minutes. Why don’t you get it properly staffed? We did get our table in time , we both ordered the new salmon & avocado salad. No way was it worth £15 , a few lettuce leaves , 4 tiny pieces of tomato , some slices of avocado & a small piece of salmon on top. Very overpriced, but we enjoyed what we had. You really need to up your game & recruit some more staff that give excellent customer service. We won’t be back I’m afraid.

We arrived at the restaurant and was asked to wait. Waiting for nearly 25 minutes we can see the girl at the reception handing over menus to every single customer arriving after us and seating them, but doesn't even made any eye contact or show any interest in us at all. I got up to ask her what about us as we were waiting - she goes I will seat you shortly and walks away. She comes back and had the rudest tone ever and hands over a menu. She continued to do the same - seat people who arrive after us, but leaves us hanging. When I get up ask her if everything was fine - she attacks me and calls me rude instead and walks away. The worst service I have ever experienced. This girl needs to be taught some manners and some customer service ethics really. I came to zizzi Nottingham as I liked the one in Leicester.. But thanks to this bad attitude, never coming back here and will never recommend this place to anyone else.

It was good experience. Pizza, Ravioli and kids meals were good.

The team here were absolutely excellent in helping a large group birthday meal (30 people) run smoothly and efficiently. I cannot thank them enough for ensuring dietary requirements were met, food came out to tables quickly, and waiting staff were attentive throughout the evening. Food was, of course, delicious!

Last week I decided to propose to my GF. Searched for the perfect place and Zizzi popped up. Decided to give them a try. The environment and ambiance was perfect for night and the services of the staff was commendable. The food was also superb. They exceeded my expectations and I did not regret going there. To cap it all, we were given a complimentary bottle of wine. I will definitely visit over and over. Keep it up guys.

An excellent Zizzi branch. Booking was easy online and despite us being late, we were shown to our table quickly and without fuss. Our waitress, Ren, made our evening very special. She was attentive, polite and had a lovely way with our 2 children. The service she provided was timely and ensured that we were catered for. The food was yummy, hot and fairly priced. We arrived without a reservation as a large table and we were very kindly squeezed in despite a busy restaurant! We were also moved to a more spacious table as soon as possible. Me and my husband visited this place today ,After going to one in London and not haveing a very good outcome. From the the moment we arrived we was welcomed and seated. The staff couldn't do enough for us we had a really beautiful meal I was really impressed it was delicious.I would like to say thankyou to the really nice guy that served us his name was Nicholas his customer service was great. Thankyou we will definitely be visiting again.

We had a good lunch here yesterday, even though it was quite busy and it took a little bit extra time for someone to take our order we were offered a nice spot to sit in and food came relatively quickly with every member of staff being kind and helpful. We were given pasta crisps for free to start with and then we ordered the Rustica Pinoli which was delicious and flavourful. Thank you!

The food was pretty good at Zizzi's, I had a margherita pizza so it was quite standard haha, but the service was brilliant. The staff were so kind and put extra care into making sure we were okay, especially our waiter Lana, who was wonderful! Will deffo be coming for another date night again!

I took my to young children to eat. As soon as I enter the place smelt amazing. We had a lovely meal & we all really enjoyed our food. Unfortunately the children's meals didn't fill up my 6 & 8 year old & I had to ask for more chips for them. Which the manager kindly gave on the house. The waiter that served us was Renata. She was really friendly & kind to us. Along with all the other staff who we spoke to like Serena too. We were all so presently surprised with how clean & fresh smelling the toilets were aswell. Zizzi should sell that fragrance. I would buy it. Thanks My children had the kids 3 course meal & I had the Casareccia pollo Piccant.

Were here for graduation dinner, food was really good, service fast, Callum took great care of us and made sure we have a great time.

Visited Zizzi for my boyfriend’s birthday. The service from Nicholas was prompt and he was super friendly and engaging and made the whole experience even better. This was our second visit and we’ve had Nicholas both times and left each time commenting on how great he was. The food was fantastic and some of the best pizza we’ve had. Thoroughly enjoyed experience and will be back again soon

Good place for a quick dinner. nice service, I got the food after 10 minutes, I ordered pasta with shrimps, it was delicious.

A lady named Serena greeted us and immediately asked for allergy info. Ours were peas and rather than looking confused like most of those who ask, she immediately knew what we should steer clear of. I've not come across such knowledge previously. Our waiter Cameron was also really great, attentive but not intrusive and had obviously taken time to find out what we had discussed with Serena. You just don't get this level of care with a chain resistant usually!

This was mine and my husbands first time eating at a Zizzi resturant and what a fabulous treat. The food was simply delicious and the servers were the happiest people and nothing was too much trouble.

Disappointed never been before, my dish was undercooked pasta with cheese sauce ..sooo cheesy over powering! My wife's was pasta with a bit of chicken with Heinz mushroom soup over it... They included a tip without asking which I wanted taking off but my wife felt pressured. Won't be going again...very very expensive for tinned soup and pasta!

Me and my sister came to Nottingham to spend the day together remembering our dad, as this is the anniversary of his death. On a sad day, the whole staff team made the day so much better, without even realising. Great customer service and as always delicious food

Visited here on Saturday 1st June. We had a booking and were seated reasonably quickly. The server was excellent and very attentive. We ordered a sharing platter to start which was plentiful and tasty but as we were still eating that our mains came out, these were sent away as we were not ready for them. When they were brought out they had obviously been sitting under a hot plate which had made the pasta dry. This spoilt the dish to be honest. The dessert was delicious as was the wine. Not sure if we would visit again though.

It's a while since we've been to Zizzi and tonight surpassed our expectations. Served by Nicholas who's customer service was just excellent - friendly and professional (he's a credit to Zizzi). Everything we ordered was perfect - crisp, thin pizza, superb pork belly with roquito honey (whoever thought of that was genius!) and a beef ragu. Also perfect portion sizes! Worth every penny 👌

I have just ordered from Uber eats and was called to say they were out of boxes for the pasta and they allowed me to change my meal to a carbonara even though it wasn’t an option on the menu. The food was fantastic and I have never had a bad experience. I was also given some free crisps for the inconvenience. The man on the phone was lovely. I am a huge fan! The chocolate fondant dessert is the nicest thing I’ve ever eaten.
