It was our first time visiting Gusto yesterday and we really enjoyed it! Our server Claudia at the Nottingham branch gave some of the best customer I’ve ever had at a restaurant! We asked for some menu suggestions and she talked us through so many options, you could tell she knew the menu back to front and gave us some great recommendations. My partner is vegetarian and they had a good range for him to choose from, Claudia also tailored her menu recommendations to this which was appreciated. Our favourite things we tried were actually the bruschetta (though my only comment on this is it was so good I wish it was a bigger portion so there was more of it to enjoy!) and the sun dried tomato & mozzarella girasole. I did really want to order the scallop & prawn ravioli which proved so popular it was out of stock but Claudia made great recommendations for alternatives. The cocktails were a lot stronger than what we were expecting so you definitely get your money’s worth on that front. The tiramisu is not to be missed too! In terms of atmosphere, we really liked the decor of the restaurant itself and they were playing good music which even though it was a Friday night, they didn’t turn it up so loud that you couldn’t have a conversation like some places do. The booking process was easy and we only booked our table half an hour before we showed up. In terms value for money for food, if you minus off our cocktails it would have been around £45 each for 3 courses which is a decent price. Overall a great experience. We will definitely visit again!

I went with my work for a pizza making class and it was so fun! The staff were all really informative, approachable and kind. We got to eat the pizza we made afterwards which was lovely. I wasn't a big fan of their orange mocktail but that could definitely be down to preference. I would definitely recommend coming here if your looking to book something for your work team for a fun team building exercise.

Excellent service from all staff, food very well presented and tasty, cocktails and wine very nice. A little pricey but worth it for a special treat.

Pre-theatre dinner was so nice with the new menu! The chicken pate and burger were a favourite from me and my partner. Great service from Evie, thanks so much. We will be back!

Brilliant place to eat on a Monday night

Really poor place to eat. Steak was cold and poor quality of meat. Scallop pasta was cold. Portion sizes are very small. Service not good, long waits and having to chase desserts and Bill. Seriously, place looks great but is terrible. Waitress not interested in feedback.

Gracie was an excellent server and absolutely out done herself. Although the restaurant was busy she was very attentive and always made sure we had what we needed. The food was lovely although could be slightly better but overall was a lovey experience for my sisters graduation meal.

While the steak tartare looked the part it was pretty tasteless, however, the crab linguine made up for it! We got a bottle of Merlot and considering it was nearly 40 pounds, that too was pretty average. Our server Gracie was lovely and made sure we were enjoying our evening, the restaurant is well decorated with a great atmosphere.

Noisy, overcrowded, overpriced. Food was okay but not great and only a shadow of what you'd expect in a proper Italian restaurant. Portions small, very little for non-meat eaters. Caesar salad was just a joke, beyond that no decent salads on offer. Not at all classy - customers as well as waiters had to bellow at the tops of their voices to be heard over the din. This is more like a cattle market than a restaurant. Misery from start to finish, only to be presented with a bill which had 12.5% "discretionary service charge" added on because of the "great experience"!

The best brunch we’ve been to, and we’ve tried the majority! The service was immense, our drinks were literally never empty despite a crazy busy restaurant full of graduates - and the food the most delicious! Literally 10/10, we couldn’t recommend them more highly!

Food was so yummy, we had truffle fettuccini and crab fettuccini and steak and rigatoni, bruschetta, pate burratta brownie and cheesecake. All of it was so so yummy, and service was super fast 👍👍👍

I first attended the restaurant when it opened. The vibe was nice, the customer service was great and the food was lovely. It has gone downhill since then. We went again a few nights ago. The restaurant is aesthetically pleasing and clean. However, the food was very bland. The customer service wasn’t great either, as I was told conflicting information beforehand. For what we paid we just expected better. It seems they still operate on this covid 2hr rule so the manager wanted to rush us out as soon as that time was up. He said that he needed the table. However there was about 4 other tables free that were the same size. It really just put us off going again.

This place leaves little to be wanted with outstanding food, drink and consistently kind service. I was served by a lady called Gracie on my graduation date and she was warm and welcoming from the get go. I fully recommend this place especially on a special occasion!

The atmosphere is really the only good thing about this place. The food is average at best and the portions are not filling. The service however is really the biggest downfall of this place. The dishes came out at very random times with one of the appetisers coming out after the main. This would have been alright however the waitress never showed up and left us waiting for ages whenever we wanted to order or pay for the bill. After getting the bill there’s an added 12% service charge which I asked to be removed, the waitress then snapped back at me making witty comments. Definitely not returning back especially with their prices. Save your time and money and head to a better Italian.

Yeah I’m not too sure on this one. The food was really nice and we loved the servers we got, they were so friendly. But for the price we ended up paying for 2 drinks, a starter and main it was nearly £70 and the food portion sizes are pretty small. I was still pretty hungry afterwards. The food was great and all but I wasn’t exactly blown away by it which was a shame. This was also in the Nottingham restaurant week, it tasted good but that price is kinda steep for what you get in my opinion Only just 4 stars, would rate it 3 but that’s just mean

I had an amazing dining experience at Gusto. The authentic Italian dishes were delicious, especially the Margherita pizza and the pasta. The food was good, I had seared pan sea bass, the potato gelatin was really nice. The focaccia was tasty and came in a big portion. The staff were super friendly and fast. The price is pretty reasonable. We enjoyed the food and are happy to go back.

I went to this restaurant today to have a carbonara with my girlfriend we just finished work so we didn't have elegant clothes if i can say that. We got there the waiter said that i should come in 15 20 minutes so we booked a table and we went back. We got to carbonara i did not like it it had no sauce and the plate wasn't really full as i seen it at other people the service was really poor one of the weiter was keep looking at us in disrespect i dont understand why.. They did not treat us how they should we felt like that weither was being racist because when we finished the food i seen him telling another weither to give us The resite quickly im very disappointed

I visited this place yesterday nd i was really disappointed by the staff and service, i kept waiting for 15min no one came on table to take orders or had a courtesy to ask for a glass of water , Food was not bad , They served Pasta nd we had to wait for next 5min for garlic bread . Definitely was not happy with service at all

Booked a table here for the first time using the website, nice and simple. Arrived at the restaurant to a great team of staff who were very attentive, the food came super quick and the food/drink was very good and well presented. We will be coming back for a second visit that’s for sure! Only gripe is you add a 12% service charge, I think paying over £100 for a meal for 2 and drinks give you enough profit to pay staff but apparently not. Overall 4/5

I think saying the food was edible is kind. We went mid week so maybe the chef wasn’t there, in any event, the food was awful. Drinks and atmosphere were ok.

I always enjoy Gusto, but our server Bea tonight was just awesome! Not to mention the top class service from the manager Nafiz as well. Very personal and really made us feel like special guests. The food was amazing and we had a brilliant time :)

Good food with poor service. Wine ordered had to be chased. Left 35 minutes after main course with no staff coming to table to see if we wanted more drinks, dessert menu never offered, no coffee offered. Spoke to manager who apologised and was very pleasant but felt staff attended the bigger parties instead of looking after all the customers

We went on a very busy Saturday evening (before theatre show) hadn't booked and the lovely lady on the door did her best to get us in! The food was amazing, staff couldn't do enough and made our day. Already planning our next visit. Thank you all xxx

Food was really good and generous. I ordered the garlic pizza bread for starters and it was the size of a large pizza which I enjoyed with my very filling plate of pasta. The squid was the best I ever tasted. Nice atmosphere, clean and cosy. Taken one star off because while we were waiting to order, a waiter was texting at the bar with his back facing us. Some of the staff use a fake Italian accent which we found hilarious. One of the waiters didn't realise we could hear him. Definitely recommend Gusto and looking forward to going back.

Had an amazing first experience at this restaurant, the waiter mandeep was very helpful and was making sure our experience was 10/10 he even tempted us with extras which was well worth it.

Have been to Gusto a few times, sometimes for a quiet meal and sometimes for bottomless brunch. Service has always been impeccable, even when busy. I tell everyone to come here. Mandeep was specifically attentive on my most recent visit. Very friendly and prompt service. Would recommend 100%.

So sad to write this but i had so much hope for this place yet so much disappointment. I don't know where to start other than, at my time in life I'd prefer nicer foor than fancy settings and better service. Although staff individually were nice, asking for items such as drinks, napkins, that sort of thing was fruitless. Not to mention two desperate requests we made for adult sized dishes to eat out pizza and sides. Hangry as we were and feeling neglected, we simply had to and rip and eat thr greasiest and sadly pizza, whilst attempting to eat all our other sides on the tiniest of saucers! We were mortified yet too hungry to complain. If you fancy being ignored or pretending you're a giant eating human food off tiny plates, then this is the place for you. However if you just want a good meal ,made with love which is not overpriced then go elsewhere. We did wonder if we'd drunk a bit too much when looking at the bill as it seemed so high. However now hearing that we've paid a service charge for a poor level of service im livid. This is after we complained and got 50 percent off the bill!! It was my mates 50th tonight and I wanted to take her somewhere special yet i could have cooked better at home with my hello fresh and not paid all that money for service we never actuallyreceived. Pee poor. Would not recommend sadly!

The food was excellent, perfectly cooked and full of taste. The service let the experience down as they were constantly hurrying us to finish, almost taking a plate away from us when we were still eating.

We had the prawns for starter and the anti pasta sharing board. Pizza for main and the scallop and crab pasta for main. Food was incredible. Service was fantastic and all round great first visit. We will Definately be back

A lovely afternoon spent with friends at Gusto, Nottingham. The food was perfect. Staff made all 5 of us feel special. Can recommend lasagne also truffled mushroom fettucine & the sticky toffee pudding for desert was gorgeous. This is our 4th visit here & hopefully many more still to come!
