Prezzo - Nottingham in Nottingham

Had a lunch in Prezzo today, everything was so good, from the food, to the staff, to the service. Highly recommend. The Pinsa is really worth a try.

The food is average at best and given the local competition they need to up their game but offset by delightful service from Niamh and colleague, students at the university.

Prezzo is a great place to eat for pre theatre. I love the Veggie Bolognese and always leave room for a dessert -check out the lemon meringue tart. Definitely one of your 5 a day! Staff always welcoming and friendly too!

Well thank goodness we got a discount voucher because I wouldn't have been happy otherwise. We were seated fairly promptly and given good amount of time to peruse the menu. Drinks and starters came out fairly quickly. The place started filling up and getting a nice atmosphere of people chatting. The mains were decent enough. Nicely presented. The child didn't enjoy hers as it was rather bland. It took a good half hour before our plates were collected. Another half hour and the child's icecream hadn't arrived so finally managed to grab a staffs attention and ask for it and she said she would fetch it right away. Another half hour later and the child's dessert had still not arrived. We put in a complaint and asked to cancel it. The child's dinner was removed from our bill and we were able to use our 25% off discount. So it was just over £50 for 3 adult mains, a starter that we shared and 4 drinks. I asked if they were understaffed and was told that there was many new staff. It was mayhem and I actually felt a bit sorry for the lady who seemed to be the supervisor. The food was OK but not exemplary, so won't be a place I would recommend or revisit even with a voucher. When there are so many other places to choose from, the competition is hard, and I just feel this place wasn't up to standard.

Brilliant place to eat! The waiter was extremely helpful and nice, thank you, George! They have a large range of gluten and dairy free dishes! I had a really delicious Caltzone! Five stars 🌟

We went as a large booking (21) There were no faults, the service was perfect- we appreciate this from George (the manager we believe) and his team. The food was delicious- including dishes that were gluten and dairy free. Highly recommend.

There were two special offers only on separate boards outside the shop, which we did not notice, one was for a free starter and the other was two for the price of one on cocktails. When it came time to pay, they do not tell us about these. Then when I asked for a refund of the additional cost, which was £22ish, they say you have to mention the offers at the start of the meal. And they even ask if ‘that made sense’ a question which made no sense. Just glad I had already asked them to take the £15 service fee off of the bill.

Wow. I think I have just eaten the world's most poor value for money pizza! I tried the new "Pinsa" pizza at £16.95 and when it came it was 3 x 6 inches - absolutely tiny, and less than a third of the size of a 9 inch round pizza!! I honestly thought they had brought me a starter portion as it was less than half the size of the board it was served on, but sadly the server confirmed that it was full size. My wife's lasagne was apparently tasty enough, but the £4.50 mixed salad she ordered was just four cherry tomatoes, a few large chunks of cucumber and some lettuce chucked in a bowl. To add insult to injury, when the bill came there was a 10% "service charge" added! I cannot remember a time when I have felt more ripped off in a restaurant. It left a very nasty taste and I doubt we will be back.

I had the spaghetti with crab. The menu doesn't clarify this but it's 100% tinned shredded crab, and the smell is strong and fishy in a bad way. Not at all what I was hoping for 😔

Nice coeliac safe restaurant. Food was very good. Menu for gluten free folks was very good. I can recommend goats cheese pizza, it was amazing. Service is quick.

We had been here before, weren't disappointed, came back , weren't disappointed again. The place has an air of cleanliness about it which is always appreciated. Staff are always charming and the food is absolutely delightful. A perfect spot for pre-theatre drinks or meal,

No draft beer available due to an issue with the pump, so they think it's a acceptable to charge £8.25 for a 660ml bottle of Angelo Poretti. Talk about being backed in to a corner! If you want to have a beer to accompany your meal, brace yourselves.

Pre booked a table, restaurant was not full. After waiting 25minutes and not been even offered a drink let alone order food, we walked out. Not one member of staff batted a eyelid

Staff were miserable didnt want to know or care about anything you wanted, food was very average and bland. Personally I will not be returning, shame.

Not enough staff on shift to run the place and the food tasted okay but was super expensive for what it was. £18 just for a Carbonara with Chicken? Staying home next time. F that.

Advertised set menu doesn't get honoured and you'll be billed as normal, staff doesn't know about it or how to add it to the bill. The food was very nice and nicely served but also you need to be out within 1 hour. Won't be back here unfortunately

We’d never been to a Prezzo before and thought we’d give it a pre theatre try out. Wish we hadn’t bothered, excessively noisy like being in a train station, food mediocre and expensive for the portion size, even with 25% off not worth it, definitely won’t be going again.

Decided to give Prezzo Nottingham another go but wish we hadn’t! We went early before the theatre and were greeted with not a good evening but told they would need the table vacated by 7! (Last time we were there late evening they started mopping the floor while we were still eating!) Humous with flatbread - no, with thin cracker more like. Gorgonzola pizza with a few bits of cheese and ham which weren’t even warm completely covered with so much rocket you couldn’t see how little topping there was! Needless to say we can’t recommend!!

Came for bottomless brunch, definitely not the right environment to be offering this service in a busy restaurant. Drinks were slow and either tasteless or not very nice, and the food was mediocre. If you're offering a bottomless brunch option then it needs to be exciting and inviting for us ladies (and gents), it just isn't the right atmosphere unfortunately. Staff were lovely and deserve the 10% service charge, that the restaurant takes upon themselves to add to the bill.

Absolute disgrace to Italian food! The food served was absolutely disappointing. Not only is this place not worth the money and visit, they have no business sense. The audacity to ask us if we had a reservation when the restaurant had less than 8 guests occupying 3-4 tables. I would discourage anyone considering visiting this place. Probably one of the worst Italian restaurants in Nottingham.

Went here last year and got two pizzas for me and my friend. Was a cute atmosphere and the service was friendly. I was happy to realise that if I didn't finish my pizza I could put it in a box and bring it with me. Will be coming here again!!

The food was nice but relatively basic and underwhelming considering the prices. The beer was at least £6 for a small bottle and the vegan bolognese, which was also over-seasoned, was £15! In retrospect these are outrageous prices that I would avoid paying again. Aside from this, the orders and delivery were all done in swift time. And staff, although clearly busy, were polite, friendly and efficient, and also helped arrange a window table for us. The venue was clean and presentable but also crowded and loud with screaming kids. I sadly doubt I’ll visit again as, although the staff were brilliant, the prices did not reflect the quality of food.

Disappointing 😞 Shall we say, when the FOH informs us that one of their most expensive bottle of Champagne is not available as it's too expensive, but it's still on their wine list, immediate red flag.The main course, was a complete failure. We are not coming back again

Alexa and gabi were really lovely hosts, we came out for our anniversary and had an incredible time here, both full of enthusiasm! We would eat here again as long as these lovely ladies served us next time :)

Walk past on Monday lunch times, suddenly remembered I received a birthday free drink email from Prezzo a week ago. So we walk in , good welcome services . After the lovely main course we asking for dessert , and told the beautiful lady my birthday is on next day . Few minutes later I received a gorgeous present dessert . Thanks to the all staff member or Prezzo Nottingham .

Would not recommend. I’m not one to write bad reviews but this experience was awful. The food came before the drinks and my partner had to remind them to bring our drinks. The food was shockingly bad, mine was supposed to come with peppers and tomato's, it had 1 cherry tomato and 2 small slices of pepper in the whole meal and the food was bland. My partner had a dry piece of chicken and a cold baked potato with no sauce or anything. None of the staff came to check how our meals were. All round awful experience (bar the Pinot that was nice)

came in for a meal with the family. left unhappy as the waiter would not serve me as he thought i was underage. i was sat with my twin brother and both parents who could confirm i was old enough to drink but still would not budge. we could prove my age by a photo of my passport which was not accepted. i understand this is policy however in this particular circumstance the waiter was rude and could have been more accommodating. left and went to ask italian where we had no issues and much better service.

Seated very promptly, but waited 20 minutes before being asked about drinks. Meals came out quickly, but no presentation, just slapped in a bowl. Shame given the amount charged pre dish.

Visited here this evening what a wonderful experience. Wonderful, friendly & helpful staff especially Niamh & Emily. Complements to the chefs on the very tasty & delicious food. Highly recommend. Thank you all .

Too expensive, you pay too much and you leave hungry

Small platform lift out of service, apparently for 3+ days, so not a priority in the 21st century. Access space poor, was boarded onto it before told, no. Space to/from obstructed by ladder, furniture, etc, nightmare to even get to. Had to move a bottle of degreaser (why is this even in a dining area? Its not food safe ffs) myself to get past. Restaurant commented "we were not told" [that wheelchair user in group]. Yeah no, someone did check before. Booking made 2+ weeks ago, you should have sent an email "Does anyone in your party need the lift?". A few "sorry sir"s just isn't good enough.

Went here on a busy November Saturday night with my wife and student aged son. We were well looked after from the moment we turned up at teh door without a reservation. The service was terrific. The waitresses were attentive and warm. The food was reliable, tasted good and provided the context for conversations about life, university and the future. The ambience was lively without being noisy. We didn't struggle to talk and enjoyed those chats taking place against the backdrop of social interaction throughout the restaurant. We shared a couple of starters, we all had a main and two of us had a deseert. A really solid Malbec was enjoyably shared between us. It came in at more than I wanted to pay but was nevertheless good value for money. We'd happily eat here again.

Needed somewhere for weekend lunch and chose prezzo to use Tesco club card vouchers. We were pleasantly surprised by the great service and food, most chains seem to fail at both of these (Bella Italia for example). Pasta, calzone & kids meal deal all great. If I didn’t have vouchers it would have been expensive. I will go again. Don’t like service charges being added but it was only 10% so not as bad as other places.

We were going on a £30 voucher from a previous visit to the Nottingham restaurant given us for not such good food previously. Sadly even though the food was average and the service was good [ a bit over the top at times ], The overall experience was not to be compared to the amazing service at Kings Lynn Prezza. The irritating thing with Prezza is the NON disclosed service charge, no warnings, signs, Nothing saying a service charge is applicable.. We tipped £5, to get outside and find we had been service charged so the tip was near £12..We will never go again and I cannot recommend it..

I've always found the food decent (but not outstanding) and if you have a Tastecard (2 for 1) or Meerkats Meals (25% off) then the prices are a little more palatable. Be aware they add a 10% service charge onto your bill so don't over-tip!

Food and cocktails were awful! 0 flavour and was very bland. Pumpkin ravioli lacked the pumpkin. The bolonaise uneventful. And the king prawn spaghetti couldve been made by a 5 year old. The best thing was the garlic bread that made the night at least sub par. The service was really good though and the ambience was quite nice :).

Cannot fault this place, delicious food, great kids menu, lovely relaxed atmosphere, friendly and helpful waiting staff.

It's lovely in everyway, except the price.. lasagne, mushroom chicken, a coke a d a lime and soda £53!! If it's something you can afford the food and service are great, but it comes at a premium

Big sign displayed outside about lunchtime meal for £11.95 but waitress had no idea about this and said it wasn’t available. Big waste of time. Needed lunch in a hurry.

We were looking forward to going here as it's been a while. The Menu has changed dramatically and in our opinion not for the better. I had the veggie calzone as it sounded good. It looked really impressive when it arrived - it was huge but as soon as I cut into it there was hardly any filling and was all hot air. Very dissapointed. My husband had pasta with pesto and again dissapointed as there wasn't much flavour - but a reasonable amount. Sorry Prezzo - we won't be back. Not good value.

This place is also listed form 241 with Tastecard. We called up and tried to at 1st verify yet were kept on hold for about 10 mins so we just gave up and turned up rather then make an advance booking. Staff were polite although the Manager/ Head chef could of been more friendly and it seemed that the staff were a little scared of him. We had to move seats as the air conditioner was affecting my friend as we were seating right under it originally. The food was nice although literally 95% identical to Bella Italia. I'm confused why they have to have to different named restaurants offering the same food. The upstairs bathroom layout was really nice although I struggle to work out how disabled customers would access this unless they have a downstairs bathroom for disabled guests. As I said food was nice, although at the end they had signal issues with payment machine for customers which caused a few issues that day. And 3g & 4g data went down as well for a short time we noticed. Luckily we had a backup option. I felt the staff would of been more friendlier if the Manager treated his staff better.

All great lunch experiences. The crispy fried mozzarella, picantte pizza and posh pepperoni are good. They also have good choices of pasta and great salad dishes.

As always the food and service in Prezzo were excellent. Their lasagna is gorgeous.

Went for a Birthday meal with my best friend,had a good evening and staff were excellent,came to pay the bill so put the cash on the table to be told that Prezzo only take Card payments.We did not have credit cards so the Manger allowed us to pay with Cash on this instance.We have been supporting the Prezzo group for many years,but sadly to say we will not be in the future as we believe that the customer should be allowed a choice.Lets not forget that without Customers there would be NO Prezzo's

Visited for my dad's birthday; they had a fantastic choice of gluten free options We were seated on the main thoroughfare through the restaurant, but still had a pleasant, quiet meal. The staff were attentive without being intrusive The food was excellent. My pizza was delicious, and I heard no complaints from any of my family except for a cold dessert, which was replaced straight away with a new one.

Service slow between starter main. Starter was lovely, fast service and hot (crispy mozellera). Main was OK buy chicken was dry and VERY salty!!! Table of six guys sat opposite who were vaping at table (including when waitress was there taking orders). I vape, as does my husband, but we step outside. These guys vaping and speaking foreign throughout and very loud! Been here before and always been lovely but not somewhere I would go back to n would not recommend to anyone else! Told Waitress our concerns and that we would have had dessert and more drinks if it not for above. Booked for my Husband birthday - wish we had gone elsewhere!

Came here for a spontaneous lunch with my partner. We always have a great time here and the staff are ever so pleasant. Gaby served us and she was amazing in every way, she accommodates my dietary requirement (I'm gluten free) without fuss. Always great coming here, keep up the good work.

£14-18 for MICROWAVED FOOD. It’s obvious as it’s poor quality and rubbery. I can’t believe this place is so popular. Waiters and waitresses were also inattentive and unfriendly. I even got brought the wrong meal and first and they didn’t actually offer to replace it or apologise? I eventually got the right one, but as you can see from my photo it was a disgrace anyway

Been to see our daughter on stage at the Theatre Royal Nottingham and then took our in laws to dinner. Carlos the manager had provided us with a lovely table - away from the front door so not cold. Food and service was lovely- would recommend to anybody and will definitely come back again.

Small servings plus tried to add a service charge on the bill. Had 2 priority app discount codes. Didn't want us to use both separate code's. 1 code each, paying separately but because we were sat at the same table, didn't want to accept the 2nd code.

Booked for 6:15, but arrived early no problems, staff friendly and helpful handy setting for the theatre, plenty of seats and reasonable prices.

Love Prezzo! Could do with more vege choices

I went to Prezzo the other day with some friends and had a great time. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Carlos was especially attentive to us and gave wonderful service! Will definitely recommend and be coming again!

Quiet as was a weekday but food was amazing.. service was 100% spot on and we had discount through NHS blue light card. 😊

Ordered via delieroo I'm a regular but they sent me a meat spaghetti bolognese instead of vegan! Horrified. I was so upset. The receipt and order said vegan but the box was ticked as meat. Sad :(

Great welcome. Nice tasty food, although the ravioli was a little cold. Meringue on lemon Meringue was a bit thick and fake tasting. Else everything else was great. Will be back.

Lovely food, atmosphere and service from a very friendly waitress called Eve! The only negative was that the restaurant was a little chilly despite a heater being plugged in near us.

We have enjoyed this restaurant many times before but never again. The best I can say about the food is that it was not inedible. It was however dull in the extreme. I could cook better than this on a bad day. Marsala sauce are you joking? It must have been chefs night off as it was bland and awful. When asked if everything was ok i politely said that I was disappointed with the chicken sauce after which our waitress disappeared not to be seen again. A senior member of staff appeared only to say that other customers had eaten this so it must be ok. What an idiot. Food was awful with service to match.

The restaurant was very busy when we arrived but we were served promptly. Food also came out very quickly. Our waitress came back to check on us frequently even though it was busy.

This restaurant came highly recommended from friends, and to say I was disappointed is an understatement. I ordered bruschetta, which was delivered on toasted pitta bread, which was too hard for me to cut with my knife. I ended up having to scrape the tomato...

A great evening and no booking needed. We just walked in on a Friday evening at 6pm and was given a table straight away. Nice pleasant staff who were great giving menu advice. They even helped us sorting out Tesco vouchers on our mobile app which we weren't aware we could use. Will definitely go there again with the fam or just for a romantic night out with the wife.

Can’t fault the food. It was freezing cold in the restaurant with cold air coming though the aircon. Ordered 2 bottles of peroni only to find black stuff floating when we poured the beer into the clearly dirty glass. We complained and got another 2 glasses and another 2 bottles of beer, only to have the same thing again. We then payed the bill and once we got home noticed there was a service charge on our bill for a table of 2. Will not be returning, shame because the food was lovely.

A decent Italian restaurant at a very convenient location (very close to Victoria Centre). I’ve dined at this restaurant a couple of times and immensely enjoyed my meals. Both the chicken & roasted peppers pizzetta & the goat’s cheese penne al forno were really delicious.

The Caesar salad was horrible, there was no toast in the salad and they used cucumber? That was a big fat NO from me

Lovely atmosphere nice food nothing majorly amazing very expensive the food in our lovely 4 star hotel was cheaper than here. 2 lasagne small bowl chips 2 biscoff cheesecakes no drinks was 46 pounds.

Food was OK, service very nice but I am sure owner could pay better so cutlery and glasses will be clean.I am not fussy, simple hygiene. Quite pricy for what it is as a chain. Cakes are good!

Great place, great food & service.

We had a lovely lunch. Creamy tagliatelle alfredo, puffy and piping hot ham and mushroom pizza, tasty coolers. Smiley waitress, she came to check on us frequently as well. Even though it was busy we didn’t feel left out or forgotten.

Came here for my mums birthday meal and really enjoyed it. The food was lovely and really good portion sizes. I ordered the arancini balls and spaghetti bolegnase and it was lovely! The atmosphere was good and all the staff were welcoming and knowledgable aswell....

Paid a visit today and was impressed with the service, food came quickly and was lovely, me and my friends were served by George and he couldn’t have been nicer, will definitely be returning.

We ordered a cocktail and it arrived, without a smile , lukewarm . Returned it and it was returned marginally cooler . Meals were average and nobody can to check if ok . After a long wait managed to pay but deducted the service charge...

Staff were nice and the food was tasty. Not massive portions though and very expensive (£8.95 for 4 small arrancini balls, £7 for a tiny bit of cheesy garlic bread, £20.95 for a pizza and £17 for a carbonara). The table next to us mentioned...

Waited 20 minutes to be served. Messed up the order of the people next to us and they had a hair in their food. Also the salt grinder didn't even work. Also not particularly accomodating for my diretary requirements Fuming.
