Food was banging new restaurant looks great and our waitress Lacey was very helful and attentive.

Absolutely lovely time whenever I visit on my own or with the family (including the children). The staff are always welcoming, friendly and go out of their way to ensure you have an exceptional time. The food is always on point, service absolutely excellent and the prices are just right for what it is. The atmosphere in the restaurant is quite nice plus you get to watch your food being made... Today we had the lovely Zoe and Lacey serving us, the ladies were absolutely lovely and quite attentive. They even stopped and had a chat with the children. I come here so much Zoe remembers my order (which is custom) so that's also a bonus to show they take the time to know there regulars also. Love it here. X

Lovely place very accommodating looked after my grandchildren provided high chairs and colouring.kids ate for free.Lasagna was lovely but not the best that I’d had.the dessert was amazing.

I recently dined at Zizzi in Derby and had a fantastic experience, thanks in large part to our waitress, Lacey. She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made sure our visit was enjoyable from start to finish. Her recommendations were spot-on—the pizza was delicious, and the service was impeccable. The atmosphere was great, and the food came out quickly, but it was Lacey’s warm and professional attitude that really stood out. She went above and beyond to make our meal special. We’ll definitely be returning, and I’d highly recommend this Zizzi location to anyone looking for great Italian food and outstanding service. Thanks again, Lacey—you’re a credit to the team!

Awful welcome, Shannon very rude, not even a smile just barked instructions to move back. Restaurant almost empty, now we know why. We left.

I had such a fantastic experience at Zizzi Derby that I just had to leave a review—especially to sing the praises of the amazing service I received from Shannon. As someone with a serious nut allergy, eating out can be incredibly stressful. I often have to prepare myself for awkward conversations, limited options, or staff who don’t really understand the severity of my situation. But from the moment I walked in, Shannon made me feel completely at ease. She was not only warm and welcoming, but also incredibly knowledgeable and attentive when it came to my allergy. Sharron took the time to walk me through the menu in detail, checking ingredients and liaising with the kitchen to ensure that what I ordered was completely safe. She never rushed me, and I never once felt like I was being a burden—something I’ve sadly experienced at other places. Her calm and professional manner honestly made the world of difference to my dining experience. And the food itself? Absolutely delicious. Everything arrived beautifully presented, piping hot, and exactly as described. It’s clear that Zizzi Derby takes both flavour and food safety seriously. I left feeling full, happy, and most importantly—safe. Dining out with allergies is often anxiety-inducing, but Shannon's care, attention to detail, and genuine kindness turned what could’ve been a worrying meal into a really enjoyable one. She is a credit to the Zizzi team, and her level of service deserves serious recognition. Thank you, Shannon's, and thank you Zizzi Derby—I'll definitely be back!

Went here for a post shopping dinner - food was amazing!! Staff were super helpful and attentive - will defo be back!!

Came into zizzi on a nice date with my girlfriend and was immediately greeted with a funny quip and a nice easing conversation about hospitality in general as we are all workers within hospitality, she sat us down and laughed with us for a while whilst calling us her favourites (teehee) the name was Shannon and she was wonderfully interactive and super kind and funny and a notable thing she did was order our starters before the food was cooked without is asking! It was an incredible experience and if I were to work with her I'd have nothing but joys and wonders, the other server was fantastic and very receptive to adjustments within our order especially receptive to changing from a massive spoon to a little spoon, all around the staff was incredible and the food was utterly mind-blowing, I had the sticky pig pizza and meatballs to share with my girlfriend and she had the meat Sofia without chilli's and I never thought pizza could get better than meat feast and for drinks we had 2 morello cherries and I had a pineapple cooler mocktails and they were both incredibly refreshing.

Our server, Shannon, was so welcoming and friendly, and so much fun to chat to it made me and my boyfriend very happy to be there, and we’re going to make it a regular date night visit thanks to Shannon’s service. Shannon, you are incredible, love you so much.

Popped in on a whim with my family and didn't regret it. We were looked after from the start, with my children already asking they can go again! Shannon was great with making suitable recommendations, easily accommodating allergies and not making us feel rushed when settling a fussy toddler. Food was great, really good value for money - that's saying something considering I had a salad. We'll be back!

Came in for date night, place looked really busy, we were in no rush however so didn’t mind if we had to wait longer than normal. Shannon was serving our table and made sure we had some pasta crisps when I was having trouble deciding Shannon offered some recommendations. After mentioning my undying love for all things cheesy Shannon wisely suggested I sign up for zillionaire I could get a free gift of cheesy garlic bread.. although busy nothing was too much, food still came out speedily and delicious we never waited for a drink and our every need was seen too!! Thankyou, we’ll be back again!

We chose this place for a family gathering and i am so glad we did. What a lovely experience we had I can honestly say the staff were amazing, Jerry was looking after us and was incredibly helpful with a few of us having food allergies it can sometimes get stressful but we were dealt with in the most helpful way. the food was just perfect and everyone was happy. will definitely be going back. well done!! and thank you for a wonderful dining experience.

We had a lovely family meal, the food was fresh, well presented and tasty. The staff were friendly and helpful. Lacey our host made sure we had everything we needed, nothing was too much trouble. The team worked well together to offer an all round good experience. Thank you all.

I wasn't impressed at all....relatively empty when we entered at 2 p.m. but everything took forever....staff surly except 1 lady, our waitress refused to take a photo of us at the table, refused to help with allergens stating I need to look up by scanning QR code but couldn't get on WiFi or get a reliable 5G connection inside....kids dishes came without cucumber sticks which kitchen had run out of, despite being on the menu...nobody cleared the mains away and we had to pretty ask for our desserts to go, tap water for the table took as long as food....We ended up spending 1 hour 45 minutes for 2 kids meals, 1 pizza and 1 pasta....mains were good when they came but overall felt I could've just ordered the same on deliveroo and not bothered going in.

Had a great day time, food was nice tasting and hot. Had a mix of pizza and pasta and deserts and all was good. What set it apart though was the staff who were exceptional on 10th April when we visited. Attentive, friendly and helpfull so a shout out to Parmesan lady and when her shift finished to the lady who took over. Many thanks my friend Mikey had a great birthday meal

The food was delicious, but it is unacceptable to me, even if I am not of Italian origin, that for pasta dishes, the pasta should be short.

Just what I needed! Everything was perfect, the food was delicious, lovely atmosphere. Isla delivered great service warm and friendly, lovely young lady. Great coffee for me, and pudding for my daughter to finish. Look forward to seeing you again soon. Received 20% blue light off the main menu. 😃

Service was fast and easy going. I have a nut allergy and as soon as we walked in we were asked which is great. The dishes also come out with a sticker that says that your allergy has been taken into account which is great and unique. Would definitely come back
