Difficulty in contacting the branch to ensure our requirements could be achieved or acceptable. Meant visiting the location 3 separate times ahead of the event Difficult to achieve prepayment of group order ahead of the event again took visits to reach that goal Couldn’t find any direct contact details from the website

The staff was so rude . They let us to wait at the door with the small kids. And also she treat us like we come there to rob.

My friend and I had a lovely time today. We were attended to by Polly who was lovely, friendly and knowledgeable. The food was delicious 😋

We like the venue. Clean and modern feel about the place. Attentive service.

No drought beer or burgers but even though we had prebooked, we were not told ahead of ordering. By this time we had been sat for 30 mins so didn't want to go elsewhere. We should have been told ahead of sitting. Service was slow, staff nice but too busy getting ready for the next day to check on the table and made you feel you were nuisance asking for a bill. Food was fine, but took long. I love prezzo but would never return here, luckily my local one is 5*.

Lovely looking restaurant however our experience was poor. Firstly, we thought maybe we’d used the wrong door since the entrance was partially blocked with a huge plant. Then when we was in had to wait 10 mins for someone to come over. In fairness they had acknowledged we were there and they would be with us soon but there was just not enough staff on duty and the one person was running around tending to an almost full restaurant. Then when we mentioned we how gift voucher, we was given the set menu only. They then pointed to the table we were to sit at and left us to go to it. There was 2 tables to choice from up on the balcony. First one we went to sit at was the wonkiest table I’ve ever came across, no amount of card under one leg would have sorted it out. So we had to use the other table which we had to move slightly so we could get the chairs out as it was very close to another occupied table. This table was also just 2 feet from the toilet door. In the area we were was more like a corridor than a balcony. A waitress was ready to take our drink order before I’d even had chance to find the drinks menu. Next since we only had the set menu we had to go online to look at the main menu so we could order extras or sides. We waited another 10 minutes for drinks to arrive and our order to be taken. Food arrived 15 or so mins later. Starters were ok but served on cold plates so some food was Luke warm the rest was hot. Bruschetta starter was nice but nothing like that served in Italy. Mains arrived, before our starters had been taken away but luckily we had finished them. We were not asked if we wanted/needed anything else. No check on was we ok for drinks etc. The pizza was slightly underdone. The pizza was Luke warm. There was no offer for black pepper or Parmesan. Once our mains were served we never saw the waitress again even though the downstairs had pretty much emptied by now. When we left and asked to pay the bill, there was no checking if everything had been ok etc Whilst customer service was very poor, I feel poor management played a part as it was understaffed. The 2 ladies on duty were nice but too busy to give the correct customer service you’d expect in a restaurant. Maybe uniforms or at least a standard dress code for your staff might help too. We are very unlikely to return for another visit sadly.

A last minute booking we walked into a very busy restaurant and were catered to immediately. My little one is allergic to Dairy & as always Prezzo Swadlincote are always accommodating and go above and beyond to ensure we have a great experience. It was clear the ladies were flat out and regardless were prompt and clearly coped well. I would absolutely recommend the food is beautiful, a great portion, always hot and fresh. I also had a Prezzo takeaway delivered a couple of weeks ago, that was stunning too. The quality was not compromised. A definite favourite for all our family.

First time visiting this branch of Prezzo and the food was impeccable . So fresh, great taste and the service was really personable from the waiters . We definitely can’t wait to be back again. Mara was really friendly and it was a pleasure to be served by her smiling face and jovial and bright personality . Would HIGHLY recommend and we look forward to our next visit. Thank you so much to the team and compliments to the chefs . Would recommend the pasta alla vodka and the crab and lobster rigatoni

Great lunch service today by Mara, she let us choose our own table where we felt comfortable for baby and her service was sufficent and kind.

Polly was an amazing server, chatted knowledgeably about the menu, service with a smile throughout, wonderful! The food was lovely, lobster & crab ravioli was delicious, once I got used to the oily texture of sauce. I had it with a side of broccoli and truffle fries, yum. I was cold!!!!!

Caitlin and a younger waitress were amazing! Really made my brothers birthday amazing! So attentive and kind.Food was nice. However waiting time was slow, ie ordering drinks and food. Cocktails were ok but we had cocktails that had not been shaken so we had Pornstar with no froth. But we were happy with everything otherwise

Absolutely brilliant and would 100% return based on her service, I always hope she is working whenever I visit! Deserves a pay rise! Food and drinks were both brilliant! Enjoyed our evening at Prezzo. The food was nice (I had chicken and pancetta rigatoni). Zoe served us and really made our night. She was so friendly, polite and had great knowledge of the menus when we asked for advice. We even noticed her singing happy birthday to an elderly gentlemen and his family. She really went above and beyond and is a real credit to the company!

Supposed to be a half-term treat for children; long wait to give order and an even longer wait for food to arrive. When it finally arrived, pizza was burned at the outer edge. Service was slow there seemed to be only one waitress on duty. Food very expensive; 10% service charge which was not clearly displayed. Tried to give feedback and discuss with manager who didn't appear to be bothered. Appaling experience - certainly not one repeat.

Food was lovely The wait was too long The service was dreadful. There is a female Italian server who was exceptional rude , to the point I needed to request to be served by somebody else . Mi would avoid this outlet for the above reason alone . Unfortunately due to the service by this female Italian server I won’t be returning. I asked for the service charge to be taken off because the service was dreadful, which is optional btw and you don’t need to pay it.

Second time there was as good if not better than the first. Staff were very attentive Mara must be a team leader or something she was buzzing around every where making sure everyone was happy and bought our food that was delicious really quickly and couldn’t do enough for us

Food good but service dreadful. 50 mins wait for pre-ordered starters which arrived over a 20 min period. Overcharged.

Valentines disaster. We arrived on time for our 7pm reservation and was met with a queue outside. A lady came out and apologised that there’d been a fault with the booking system and they’d overbooked massively and weren’t any tables free and said we’d get free first drink. Waited about 30 mins to be seated which we weren’t too bothered about, did feel for the staff as clearly a fault in the system wasn’t their fault. However from here the service was absolutely appalling. Our drinks arrived fairly quickly but the starters took an hour to arrive and then about 20-30 mins for our plates to be cleared. From then it was about an hour and a half before the mains arrived just before 10pm, we had to ask 3 times where they were and just responded with sorry I’ll check. We also had obviously finished our drinks by this point and had to ask 4 times multiple people if we could have some tap water (it wasn’t even majorly busy at this point seeing as it was 10pm) before we got some. The food was genuinely really lovely I couldn’t fault it but it’s just such a shame the service ruined the night, especially when we saw multiple other couples come and go and receive their food before us we felt very forgotten. The manager did discount the bill about 60% when we complained so can’t fault this, and staff were very apologetic. Would still like to come back on a less busy day and give it another chance seeing as the food was nice (particularly the pancetta mac and cheese bites and the chicken, mushroom and garlic rigatoni).

Me & my daughter love prezzo, the staff are super friendly and always helpful, food is amazing and we visited on my daughters birthday and the staff came out with a free dessert with happy birthday written in chocolate sauce, it was a lovely surprise and made my daughters day! One of our favourite places to eat ! Highly recommended 👌

Had to queue outside for 20 mins even with a reservation but offered a free drink as compensation so not all bad. Ordered starters that took an hour to arrive, they were okay. Kept plying us with drinks but past a certain point it was hard to look past the enormous queue outside and overhearing complaints. Mains came out half an hour later. Average. Do not order the tiramisu i’d compare it to wiper fluid. not even proper cocoa powder on top it was hot chocolate powder. Overall it was not a good experience. I understand they were busy but we were there for over two hours with 90% of that being stuck waiting.

Sadly this is the first time I have been to Prezzo and will likely be the last. I had booked for Valentines Day, hoping for a nice relaxing meal, but certainly not the experience me and my partner had. We arrived to be seated pretty much straight away, had drinks and from this point the service was poor. Starters took nearly half an hour, simple garlic bread and some pancetta balls, and main course took nearly an hour to arrive. I understand Valentines is busy in restaurants, and it was clear they were either short staff or had over booked as people were queuing round the building for their resevations/tables to be available. Those that were in the queue waiting for tables got drinks, meaning my partner had to ask twice for a drink, and only upon claiming quite clearly that the level was unacceptable did he get his drink. We didn't stay for the desserts as we dreaded an even longer wait for them, paid £80 for the privilege and left. Lots of other disgruntled customers around not happy with the service either. Will not be going back in future, shame because ive not been to a Prezzo before and won't be again.

Unfortunately prezzo let us down for valentines this year after having a great time there last. Firstly, we had booked a reservation for 7pm a month in advance, when we arrived, we had to wait outside for a while as the restaurant was completely full and overbooked. We were seated by 7:30 but food took around 40’mins for starters and another half an hour for the main meal. Food wasn’t as well prepared especially for the price and service we received. The atmosphere was extremely loud and crowded. Staff barging past constantly and running around, no individual service, everything seemed rushed and fast paced for what was supposed to be a lovely relaxed evening. Not to mention customers queuing through the doors, stood in the front of the restaurant waiting to be seated and people queuing for miles around the building. If im honest im just really disappointed as prezzo seemed to have a really good Valentine’s Day event last year where the reservations were on time, you got given a rose and the staff took time and care with your orders. Tonight it seemed the restaurant got greedy for money. Many people were upset, stood outside for ages in the rain and cold even though they had reversed. Therefore next year we won’t be returning to prezzo unfortunately as it was not a fun meal and we went home as soon as we received our mains.
