Lovely service from Mara and staff!

The music and saxophonist were a great and gave it a great vibe. The only negative I would give is the pricing, we had a 25 % off voucher which helped a little but I still think it was too expensive

Mara was very welcoming and made our lunch very enjoyable

Food was amazing but felt like they didn’t have a setting plan for us a placed at a table for 6 by the door when only 3 of us. Polly the manager was really helpful when the offer we were using didn’t work properly. She corrected the bill.

I thought it was a good place but it was terrible. The food was very oily, not fresh like fried frozen food. I have diarrhea since last night. We ordered 3 menus, it was inedible. This restaurant has nothing to do with Italian cuisine!!!!!!!!! This is not Italian!

Beautiful sunny afternoon. Evening dinner was perfect. Atmosphere was great and the service was amazing. The staff could not do enough for us.

Food not as nice as it used to be, garlic chilli prawn starter was tasteless, not like the old recipe which had a tomato sauce. Service was slow too. Wouldn't rush back

Fantastic service by Mara… always with a smile

I am very disappointed about the service which they provided. The staff was rude asking “if we are lost?”. We were waiting for 20 min for someone to take our order and nobody came.

Had the bottomless brunch in swadlincote, can't recommend it enough! Mara was looking after us, and she was fantastic, drinks brought over before we finished our last, fantastic food and service, highly recommend!

Great food at reasonable prices. Always friendly service. Nice relaxing atmosphere. Can get busy at times the staff work well under pressure & goes an extra mile which made our meal even better. Thank you Gabriela for looking after us. We will be back.

Fantastic food looking forward to my next visit

Was enticed by the 99p glass of Prosecco promo! Only one issue, the initial glasses of Prosecco arrived warm! However on our request a member of staff organised some ice, after that the rest of the Prosecco arrived cooler.

Caitlin was really knowledgeable and accommodating to our dietary needs, and we had a lovely meal. Thank you!

We dined during the ‘99p main’ offer on 28th April. Whilst this offer is an incredible one, it did unfortunately fall flat. We arrived for our booking at 7pm to a heaving restaurant with a queue out the door - this was great to see for a Monday, clearly the offer was a great marketing technique! But unfortunately we were informed there were no pizzas left….which meant we were only left with a choice of 3 pasta dishes. We found it quite shocking that they had ran out, considering they knew how many people they had booked in for the day and even told us they hadn’t accepted any walk in’s…we then asked if they were offering any alternative dishes to account for the lack of choice, to which they said no and asked why my friend ‘looked so confused’. In order to qualify for the deal, you have to buy a drink. We all ordered coke zero which arrived in a can but was somehow flat? We all ordered the bolognese which was rather average, but when you’re paying 99p for it you can’t complain, however I would be expecting the same quality as if I was paying full price. It did feel they altered the serving size of mince meat in the dish for this particular offer, as it was mostly pasta. (Picture attached) Let’s just say we would not have been happy if we were paying full price. My friend also ‘pre-ordered’ her sauce for her chips so she wouldn’t have to wait once her food got here. But we had to ask again for the sauce one the food arrived. Overall, the food was ok, but I feel alternatives should have been offered for the fact they ran out of pizza…at an Italian restaurant…where they had full visibility of number of diners.

Visited Prezzo in Swadlincote, took advantage of their £5 Pizza Sunday offer. The premises is lovely. Our pizzas were delicious, the service was excellent, all the staff were friendly and attentive. Will definiately dine there again. Highly recommended.

We sat down at 6:05pm, our order was taken at 6:15, we had an ordered a starter of garlic bread, couple of pizzas, pasta and fries. We go our food at 7:15, including our starter, we were getting ready to leave. I understood it would be busy with the offer being on. But why would you give this offer and not have the staff to cover it all. I did raise the issue and I was told to appreciate that it was busy. We were starving. The menus had dried food on, restaurant was quite dirty too. We have had many meals at prezzo and they have always been a nightmare. Thought we would give them the benefit of the doubt and try it again.

Only niggles were I had to wait ages to pay my bill & had to ask a couple of members of staff... And the 10% service charge. This is not clearly shown anywhere & is automatically taken.

We were welcomed at the door and promptly shown to our table. The table had been cleaned and set out for the two of us. Drinks order was taken and delivered quickly. The food obviously took a little longer as it was cooked to our order. It was worth waiting for as it was delicious, well presented and piping hot. A lovely experience, thank you Victoria for looking after us.

Over priced food. I feel cheated, food quality and tased vs what I paid. Small portions and things you would expect are extras e.g fries with a burger. Adding service charges is a big no. If I have good service then I tip.

A surprisingly good pre-cinema experience. Usually, I am disappointed by the food, but my chicken, avocado & prosciutto salad was delicious as was my friend’s rigatoni arrabbiata. They had tasty alcohol free drinks & Polly, who served us was exceptional. The chairs are looking rather tatty, but that is my only criticism.

Meant visiting the location 3 separate times ahead of the event Difficult to achieve prepayment of group order ahead of the event again took visits to reach that goal Couldn’t find any direct contact details from the website

The staff was so rude . They let us to wait at the door with the small kids. And also she treat us like we come there to rob.

My friend and I had a lovely time today. We were attended to by Polly who was lovely, friendly and knowledgeable. The food was delicious 😋

Lovely food that both adults and children enjoyed

No drought beer or burgers but even though we had prebooked, we were not told ahead of ordering. By this time we had been sat for 30 mins so didn't want to go elsewhere. We should have been told ahead of sitting. Service was slow, staff nice but too busy getting ready for the next day to check on the table and made you feel you were nuisance asking for a bill. Food was fine, but took long. I love prezzo but would never return here, luckily my local one is 5*.

Catered carefully and respectfully for 3 coeliacs alongside 7 ‘muggles’. Delicious pizza all round and a lovely restaurant. Thanks

A last minute booking we walked into a very busy restaurant and were catered to immediately. My little one is allergic to Dairy & as always Prezzo Swadlincote are always accommodating and go above and beyond to ensure we have a great experience. It was clear the ladies were flat out and regardless were prompt and clearly coped well. I would absolutely recommend the food is beautiful, a great portion, always hot and fresh. I also had a Prezzo takeaway delivered a couple of weeks ago, that was stunning too. The quality was not compromised. A definite favourite for all our family.

Lovely looking restaurant however our experience was poor. Firstly, we thought maybe we’d used the wrong door since the entrance was partially blocked with a huge plant. Then when we was in had to wait 10 mins for someone to come over. In fairness they had acknowledged we were there and they would be with us soon but there was just not enough staff on duty and the one person was running around tending to an almost full restaurant. Then when we mentioned we how gift voucher, we was given the set menu only. They then pointed to the table we were to sit at and left us to go to it. There was 2 tables to choice from up on the balcony. First one we went to sit at was the wonkiest table I’ve ever came across, no amount of card under one leg would have sorted it out. So we had to use the other table which we had to move slightly so we could get the chairs out as it was very close to another occupied table. This table was also just 2 feet from the toilet door. In the area we were was more like a corridor than a balcony. A waitress was ready to take our drink order before I’d even had chance to find the drinks menu. Next since we only had the set menu we had to go online to look at the main menu so we could order extras or sides. We waited another 10 minutes for drinks to arrive and our order to be taken. Food arrived 15 or so mins later. Starters were ok but served on cold plates so some food was Luke warm the rest was hot. Bruschetta starter was nice but nothing like that served in Italy. Mains arrived, before our starters had been taken away but luckily we had finished them. We were not asked if we wanted/needed anything else. No check on was we ok for drinks etc. The pizza was slightly underdone. The pizza was Luke warm. There was no offer for black pepper or Parmesan. Once our mains were served we never saw the waitress again even though the downstairs had pretty much emptied by now. When we left and asked to pay the bill, there was no checking if everything had been ok etc Whilst customer service was very poor, I feel poor management played a part as it was understaffed. The 2 ladies on duty were nice but too busy to give the correct customer service you’d expect in a restaurant. Maybe uniforms or at least a standard dress code for your staff might help too. We are very unlikely to return for another visit sadly.

First time visiting this branch of Prezzo and the food was impeccable . So fresh, great taste and the service was really personable from the waiters . We definitely can’t wait to be back again. Mara was really friendly and it was a pleasure to be served by her smiling face and jovial and bright personality . Would HIGHLY recommend and we look forward to our next visit. Thank you so much to the team and compliments to the chefs . Would recommend the pasta alla vodka and the crab and lobster rigatoni

Polly was an amazing server, chatted knowledgeably about the menu, service with a smile throughout, wonderful! The food was lovely, lobster & crab ravioli was delicious, once I got used to the oily texture of sauce. I had it with a side of broccoli and truffle fries, yum. I was cold!!!!!

Caitlin and a younger waitress were amazing! Really made my brothers birthday amazing! So attentive and kind.Food was nice. However waiting time was slow, ie ordering drinks and food. Cocktails were ok but we had cocktails that had not been shaken so we had Pornstar with no froth. But we were happy with everything otherwise
