Great food and enjoyed the new additions to the menu, Malenese! As always Mara out server is fantastic, difficult to come out with young children but she always makes us and them feel very very welcome.

The staff here are always welcoming and attentive ...great atmosphere and Mara did a great job looking after us tonight😋

Enjoyed our evening at Prezzo. The food was nice (I had chicken and pancetta rigatoni). Zoe served us and really made our night. She was so friendly, polite and had great knowledge of the menus when we asked for advice. We even noticed her singing happy birthday to an elderly gentlemen and his family. She really went above and beyond and is a real credit to the company!

Food was lovely The wait was too long The service was dreadful. There is a female Italian server who was exceptional rude , to the point I needed to request to be served by somebody else . Mi would avoid this outlet for the above reason alone . Unfortunately due to the service by this female Italian server I won’t be returning. I asked for the service charge to be taken off because the service was dreadful, which is optional btw and you don’t need to pay it.

Second time there was as good if not better than the first. Staff were very attentive Mara must be a team leader or something she was buzzing around every where making sure everyone was happy and bought our food that was delicious really quickly and couldn’t do enough for us

Food good but service dreadful. 50 mins wait for pre-ordered starters which arrived over a 20 min period. Overcharged.

Valentines disaster. We arrived on time for our 7pm reservation and was met with a queue outside. A lady came out and apologised that there’d been a fault with the booking system and they’d overbooked massively and weren’t any tables free and said we’d get free first drink. Waited about 30 mins to be seated which we weren’t too bothered about, did feel for the staff as clearly a fault in the system wasn’t their fault. However from here the service was absolutely appalling. Our drinks arrived fairly quickly but the starters took an hour to arrive and then about 20-30 mins for our plates to be cleared. From then it was about an hour and a half before the mains arrived just before 10pm, we had to ask 3 times where they were and just responded with sorry I’ll check. We also had obviously finished our drinks by this point and had to ask 4 times multiple people if we could have some tap water (it wasn’t even majorly busy at this point seeing as it was 10pm) before we got some. The food was genuinely really lovely I couldn’t fault it but it’s just such a shame the service ruined the night, especially when we saw multiple other couples come and go and receive their food before us we felt very forgotten. The manager did discount the bill about 60% when we complained so can’t fault this, and staff were very apologetic. Would still like to come back on a less busy day and give it another chance seeing as the food was nice (particularly the pancetta mac and cheese bites and the chicken, mushroom and garlic rigatoni).

Me & my daughter love prezzo, the staff are super friendly and always helpful, food is amazing and we visited on my daughters birthday and the staff came out with a free dessert with happy birthday written in chocolate sauce, it was a lovely surprise and made my daughters day! One of our favourite places to eat ! Highly recommended 👌

Unfortunately prezzo let us down for valentines this year after having a great time there last. Firstly, we had booked a reservation for 7pm a month in advance, when we arrived, we had to wait outside for a while as the restaurant was completely full and overbooked. We were seated by 7:30 but food took around 40’mins for starters and another half an hour for the main meal. Food wasn’t as well prepared especially for the price and service we received. The atmosphere was extremely loud and crowded. Staff barging past constantly and running around, no individual service, everything seemed rushed and fast paced for what was supposed to be a lovely relaxed evening. Not to mention customers queuing through the doors, stood in the front of the restaurant waiting to be seated and people queuing for miles around the building. If im honest im just really disappointed as prezzo seemed to have a really good Valentine’s Day event last year where the reservations were on time, you got given a rose and the staff took time and care with your orders. Tonight it seemed the restaurant got greedy for money. Many people were upset, stood outside for ages in the rain and cold even though they had reversed. Therefore next year we won’t be returning to prezzo unfortunately as it was not a fun meal and we went home as soon as we received our mains.

Had to queue outside for 20 mins even with a reservation but offered a free drink as compensation so not all bad. Ordered starters that took an hour to arrive, they were okay. Kept plying us with drinks but past a certain point it was hard to look past the enormous queue outside and overhearing complaints. Mains came out half an hour later. Average. Do not order the tiramisu i’d compare it to wiper fluid. not even proper cocoa powder on top it was hot chocolate powder. Overall it was not a good experience. I understand they were busy but we were there for over two hours with 90% of that being stuck waiting.

Sadly this is the first time I have been to Prezzo and will likely be the last. I had booked for Valentines Day, hoping for a nice relaxing meal, but certainly not the experience me and my partner had. We arrived to be seated pretty much straight away, had drinks and from this point the service was poor. Starters took nearly half an hour, simple garlic bread and some pancetta balls, and main course took nearly an hour to arrive. I understand Valentines is busy in restaurants, and it was clear they were either short staff or had over booked as people were queuing round the building for their resevations/tables to be available. Those that were in the queue waiting for tables got drinks, meaning my partner had to ask twice for a drink, and only upon claiming quite clearly that the level was unacceptable did he get his drink. We didn't stay for the desserts as we dreaded an even longer wait for them, paid £80 for the privilege and left. Lots of other disgruntled customers around not happy with the service either. Will not be going back in future, shame because ive not been to a Prezzo before and won't be again.

Came for a family meal , booked a table well in advance however when we arrived it was almost an inconvenience we had turned up. Waited a long time to order in fact had to ask if we could. Waited a reasonable amount of time for the starters but then over an hour wait for our mains and had to leave our table twice to ask for more drinks. The waitress was very annoying and kept calling me darling? They then had the nerve to add a service charge and looked very put out when I asked for this to be removed. The meal its self was extremely over priced for what was at best pub grub . Will go to the pub instead next time .

First time back for a year food just as good as I remembered. Covid precautions very good felt safe and relaxed .

The food was excellent and the service was also very good. They have special offers on from time to time so definitely take advantage of these. My only negative was the mens toilet, both of the urinals upstairs were blocked. They need a chart showing when the room has been checked by a member of staff.

I didn’t look at reviews before we came. I wish I had. Five of us were seated at a table where there had been a spillage on the floor & two seats. It had supposedly been cleaned up but I had to ask for this to be done properly before we sat down. The meals for four of our group were fine. But mine was a disaster. Who knows what I’d have been like if I’d not noticed. It was the Chicken Milanese and it was cooked at one end. The rest was raw. I’ve added a photo. The front of house guy George was really good about this. He didn’t charge for any of the five mains to compensate & he was genuinely annoyed with the chef who produced this rubbish. I say chef, I’m guessing he was either off the day they did food hygiene at chef school or he wasn’t there last Friday & the cleaner did my chicken. No, that’s unfair. The cleaner is almost certainly better than this chef! We did give about £5-6 in tips only because our server was really nice, very young and none of this was her fault. I was going to give a generous 2/5 score on here as George is a good guy but on reading other reviews about the automatic service charge I’ve just checked and it was sneakily put on to our bill without us being told. I’m very unimpressed by this. My advice. Don’t use this restaurant.

Came here for a meal with my family. The food was very palatable and well presented, but the manager (Mara) has a disgusting attitude and the way she speaks to the other staff members made us feel quite uncomfortable. God knows how someone like that is a manager? The restaurant itself is quite clean and pleasant overall, it's just a shame about the poor service.

Lovely deal for 99p main. The service and pizzas are great! The pastas need improvement in both the taste and volume.

Took advantage of the Blue Monday 99p main offer. Food nice. Ordered 2 pasta arrabiata mains with chicken (chicken was an extra £3 each) and 2 sides for £7 (garden salad and garlic bread). The cost all soon adds up when adding in the extras and not forgetting the service charge. It's made even worse by the overcharging though. This is the second visit in a row I have been overcharged on the bill. It's a shame things like this happen as it really puts me off going back for third visit.

The food & service from Mara was excellent, the only downside was it was very cold in the seating area we were sitting at, a couple next to us kept there coats on throughout their meal. Yes it was early January and will definitely go there again.

I was shocked when I paid a visit to the loo as we were leaving (09/12/2024) and there was no running water when I tried to wash my hands...if I had had more time I would have asked why....does anyone have any light to shed?

Mara was such a wonderful presence during our meal. She was so sweet, very mindful, and really took the time to make sure everything was perfect. So lovely, and I can’t wait to come back. The food was exceptional too ❤️

We went for a family Sunday lunch. The food was nice and tasty and well presented, albeit the two pizzas were extremely small. I asked whether it was a mistake and we’d been sent the child’s portion. The pizza was shorter in length than a table knife, which for £16.50 didn’t seem good value. Apart from that, a very poor experience. Table wasn’t clean on arrival. Long delay to order. Appetisers and starters arrived alongside the mains. One main had been forgotten. No ask if we’d like any Parmesan or sauces. No check back at any time during the meal. Long time to partially clear the table. Deserts arrived with no spoons on an uncleared table. Again no check back. Toilets were unclean with no soap. Regular chase up for missing drinks, two of which were left sitting on the bar for an age. Then a £13 service charge, which we swiftly removed! Regardless of the price, the most basic of customer service skills were entirely lacking. Totally disorganised, staff who looked like it was their first day in the job, poor cleanliness, and a general feeling of the customers being a huge inconvenience. Very poor, particularly when we’re spending £130+ for lunch.

the restraint was tealy cold first time I'd took my dad the staff very slow food very slow my husband had rhe chicken with spaghetti very brown and dry at ti wait for new cutlery whilst food was goin cold at to ask for parmeaen . the usual manager wasn't there or the very good waitress

Food was good and tasty and served nice and hot so well done to the kitchen staff. Everything else was poor from start to finish. Slow and poor service, dirty messy restaurant, cracked glasses and had the cheek to add automatic service charge on bill and don’t take cash. Won’t be returning.

Not a good experience. Booked in advance for an early dinner at 5.30. Restaurant was virtually empty. When we arrived, had to wait a few minutes for the table to be laid as it seemed they were not expecting us. No drinks menu left on the table so I had to go and forage one from another table. About 15 to 20 mins before a drinks order was taken by which time we ordered food as well. Drinks sat on the bar for ages. Had to ask for a jug of water twice. The service was generally slow and inattentive. About half way through the meal the shift change meant we had a different server. Italian lady who was very polite and friendly. By the time she was serving us the restaurant was full and she was run off her feet. Most of the food was ok. My wife had the spaghetti carbonara for main which was cold and fairly tasteless. No one asked us how the food was at all during the meal or at the end. Usually, we tip generously but we don’t if the service is poor so we had decided not to on this occasion. However, when the bill arrived, a service charge was already applied. Would have asked them to take it off but my daughter has social anxiety so did not want to upset her with any potential confrontation. Feels like you don’t have to care about your service if you are getting tips automatically. Will not go back.

Came here for a celebration lunch. Started with a dough twist and truffle mayo to share. This was delicious and made a change to garlic bread. Could not taste the truffle in the mayo. My wife had the sea bass and the fish was gorgeous, but the gnocchi had an unusual texture and very little flavour, even though the sauce had great flavour. I had the crab and lobster ravioli. My wife had it last time and was not impressed. But my ravioli had some brown meat in it and was really tasty. The Prawns were well cooked too. We shared the orange cheese cake for dessert. The cheesecake was smooth but I thought it was a bit craggy. The staff were great as normal. On the whole we enjoyed our lunch.

Visited as a family of 4 (2 teens) Was fairly busy downstairs when we arrived for our table we had booked. They seated us nearest the door, which was quite cold when the door opened, but didn't look like any other tables of 4 available (looked as if the upstairs area wasn't open) would have been better if they spread people out a bit, would have helped with the noise as it was very noisy in there. Have been before to this prezzo but not for a few years. Sadly they've taken off the honeycomb cheesecake! The food was very good and hot, but the service was really quite slow. Took a while to get 4 soft drinks, and the mains took a while too. They seemed to be churning out a lot of deliveries, though. Waitress was friendly, . I had a 50% off voucher so was worth going, but not sure we would rush back in all honesty. I'm not keen they add the service charge automatically.

I went yesterday with my dad, and it was an amazing experience! The staff were incredibly kind to us, the service was fast, and the food was delicious! Even though it's a bit pricey, it's definitely worth the money and I would definitely go again if I could!

I stopped by for a meal last night after work, and was served by Caitlin, she made sure I had everything I needed and her waiting on was absolutely brilliant. Usually I'd do pizza, or pasta. But this time I had the Saltimbocca Chicken, and it was delicious. I'd highly recommend it! Lemon meringue pie was also amazing. I will 100% be going again.

Myself and My wife, we are love this place. The food always fresh and tasty. Waiter Mara, so polite and professional, with the great sense of humor ❤️ We are definitely recommend Prezzo to everyone, try it, you not gonna regret.

Such a great restaurant. This is a reasonably new find for us and on our second visit we were lucky enough to meet Mara who has wonderful. She took care of us and our 1 year old so well (who certainly loved the attention!). The food has been lovely on both occasions and my daughter came away covered head to toe in her pasta sauce as she loved it so much!

Prezzo is a good restaurant, the staff were great and food was nice. I like their marketing deals and emails to entice you in, it worked!

We took a friend for her birthday earlier this month. We couldn't have been more pleased with our choice. Our waitress Poppy was so helpful and new her menu and gave good advice as well as brilliant service. My meal was not as I expected, only in texture and Poppy didn't hesitate to change my meal for something different. The food was so tasty and service top notch. Thank you Prezzo and Poppy

Had lunch with my wife nice atmosphere very friendly staff (Jeremy) and recommend it and it's not over priced.

But food was scrumptious as usual. We were sat outside on a Monday evening so it was not too busy, but our starters arrived before our drinks, which we had to keep asking for. Won’t stop us from returning though.
