Ok. Booked a table but was unaware this was specifically in the car area so clarification when booking would have been preferred. Food service was efficient but staff didn’t provide cutlery or sauce etc. so fetched this ourselves. No check back if things were ok which usually occurs. Nice warm atmosphere just a shame the staff didn’t seem very attentive - pleasant regardless.

Belly Pork was just mushy and the dijon mustard sauce was in fact bisto gravy. Honey glazed carrots devoid of honey, buttermilk chicken burger was pre-crimated prior to serving, and £9.45 for 250ml measure of bog standard white wine.... other than that, it wasok. Best thing about it was location.

Came for Sunday dinner, overall the food was lovely, although we ordered a portion of cauliflower cheese and the cauliflower was not cooked, pretty raw, which was disappointing. We all had deserts I ordered the toffee tart is was nice but far too sweet could have done with some salted caramel within the desert/flavour. The only other thing would be that the ladies toilets definitely need some tlc. One of the cublicals doesn't have a lock on the door so is essentially useless.

This is a really nice pub and the staff are lovely, on this occasion with there being a lot of us the meal service wasn't the best. Personally I think serving a table at a time and leaving the latgest until the last 'which was the table I was at' would have meant everyone would have gotten their meal together instead of one person finishing theirs before another had gotten theirs. My Lasagne was do dry I couldn't eat it but apart from that it was a good night.

Heard there was a new menu on the go so we gave it a shot as the food has always been good previously. We have to say that the choice on the menu was excellent with some delicious sounding starters and mains. My wife went for her faithful Prawn Cocktail whilst I opted for the more adventurous haddock & leek fish cakes. Both were excellent in taste and nicely cooked. For the mains we had pan cooked chicken and the lamb shank. Again they were both superb and beautifully cooked. Service is always good with very pleasant staff. We will return again!

Perhaps the staff were having a bad day but 15 minute wait to be served on a quiet Thursday evening, all bitters 'off' due to 'someone' making a mistake in the morning and no Tango/Fanta type soft drinks available suggests a shift not 'on it'. Food was good and delivered to table promptly. Disappointing as previous visits always very good. Separate detailed review left on Marston feedback site.

I have been to the clock warehouse 3 times and each time I have had the same experience but brushed it off as busy times and gave it another try last Sunday. Soon as me and my partner entered, there were 3 staff members standing and chatting and looked us right in the eye and proceeded to ignore us. We went to the bar and stood there for 5mins and it wasn’t even busy, we were ignored again while the staff was just talking. We just left and we will never return again.

Overall it was lovely. People were nice, food was great, service was good.My major gripe is to eat here costs £20-£30 more than other food pubs so we don't often. Last night was Mothers day eve so I couldn't get anywhere else. My minor gripe last night was when you advertise honey roast carrots....and they come as boiled carrots it's a disappointment. Similarly when you say camembert on a burger with seasoned fries, you expect to be able to see and or taste it. Did we make a fuss no, will it impact our decision to pay more and return. Only time will tell

The service myself and my family received was impeccable. The waitress also asked during our meal if we would like more drinks I thought that was a fabulous touch! But unfortunately the standards of cleaning was poor and the food standards also. Our waitress took us to a table which had what looked liked plaster boards pieces, or possibly something that’s fallen out of the wall like the mortar crumbling away. Along side this the table was not lay correctly and the waitress swiftly made it before we sat down at the table. The pictures hung on the wall and light fitting next to our table were covered with dust and cobwebs. Now to the food, it was the first of the meals to come out of the kitchen on that day. The flavours of everything were impeccable! But it was cold!! We didn’t complain as the pub was beginning to get busy and due to myself and my son being autistic we thought it best to wolf it down and get out of there. Due to my autism textures stand out to me like a bad smell and whilst eating my almost beautiful Sunday lunch I noticed 2 out of 3 roast potatoes had been cooked prior and reheated. Then trying to pay for our meal was another issue in its self. It seems the pub was definitely under staffed for a Sunday. I was stood waiting around for a member of staff to pay the bill So there you go that was my families experience.

The starters were lovely and almost all of the mains were good, we had 3 roast dinners and on all 3 the meats, veg and yorkshires were delicious, however the roast potatoes were quite tough to cut through, the outsides of them were tough and chewy but the inside was still fluffy so I suspect they may have been kept warm for too long. The biggest issue for us unfortunately was the wait staff, we were seated in the conservatory on the mid level, and the only time we saw staff was when they were running food or clearing tables, there was no horseradish sauce on 2 of the dinners so it was 5-10 minutes before we saw someone to ask for some, then we ordered an extra Pepsi when the food was served and I had to chase that up after we had finished our meal, we asked for menus to order puddings but no one came back to take our order, so in the end we left at which point I paid at the till on the way out as I didn’t even see anyone to ask for the bill. We’ve been before and the food and service was excellent, so we will be back but probably not for a Sunday lunch. Your staff were lovely when they were at the tables, I just feel they dont check the conservatory frequently enough to meet customers needs when all the tables had people sat on them.

We decided to go out for Sunday lunch as we don’t get to spend weekends together due to work commitments usually. We’ve been to the clock before for evening meals and it has been great. However today the service was exceptionally slow and there were things missing from our meals. Having both worked and managed pubs before we understand that Sunday lunch can be an extremely busy time, however both of our roasts had the horseradish sauce missing but there was no waiting staff to ask (this could be due to being in the conservatory area) an order for a coke took 15 mins and we had to ask a second waitress for it. A nearby table had their milk forgotten with their tea and a second table had a missing beer also. As things were taking a very long time and the tables around us weren’t being cleared of used items, we decided that we weren’t going to order a dessert as we already had a restless 6 year old at the table with us. Normally a lovely place to visit but maybe just a tip to check that area more often as it seems customers (not just us but the tables around us too) get forgotten about down there.
