Brilliant food, served piping hot, in a timely fashion, and with great service, special mention to the Chef on shift Andy, impeccable food!

We were a table of 10 for a family lunch. Service was very quick and friendly. All food was fantastic, hot and well presented best sizzling experience in awhile! :)

Visited Stenson Fields for lunch 08/10/2024 ▪︎ Bright, welcoming & cheery smiles on our arrival from the lady behind the bar! ▪︎ We ordered our drinks online along with a selection of starters to share: ▪︎ Beer-battered salt n pepper mushrooms with Blue Cheese Dip & Crispy peppered chicken wings with BBQ Sauce & Garlic Mayo, followed by Desserts: ▪︎ Lemon & Rasberry Mousse & Bramley Apple Pie & Custard ▪︎ Service was quick! We complimented the chef & told him we could have eaten a bucket of the wings, they were so tasty & crispy on the outside & so moist inside!! The apple pie was a generous & scrumptious portion. The lemon & rasberry mousse was a little too sweet for our liking, maybe choosing something a little less sweet to drizzle over an already sweet dessert, but purely our taste as someone else may prefer the level of sweetness. ▪︎ Great value for money!! Would definetly recommend family & friends to visit the Stenson Fields & a well deserved 5🌟

Wonderful place to enjoy food and beer

Mushy peas weren't mushy, chips semi warm, salt pots would not release contents, overall disappointing.

Lived in the area for 7 years now and this was the first time we've been here. Only stopped off for a drink in the sun but was a lovely pit stop for our walk. Nice pint, clean pub and friendly staff. Will certainly stop off again.

Good for food and charging car.

We were a group of 10 with a reserved table. When we arrived it was quite busy but staff were amazing and took our order in a timely manner. The food took a little while to come out due to it being busy but when the food arrived, it all came out at the same time and everything was perfect. Staff were polite and helpful. Desserts were given in a timely manner. We are not local to Stenson but we were made to feel at home. Thank you ☺️

Had a lovely meal with friends and, drinks. The staff were very attentive and welcoming. Really good selection of drinks and cocktails. Really reasonably priced food in a great location. Close to the park so rally food for families and dog walkers. Debbie, Lorna Greg and Sam couldn’t do enough to help us with our requirements. Food was served promptly and was hot and tasty and very good sized portions.

Great place for meeting up with old friends

Nice atmosphere, clean and the food was amazing, best kids menu we've seen. 100% coming back (For 5 of us eating cost just £45) by far the cheapest for a family meal out. there is a fenced and gated play park opposite the beer garden.

A lovely local pub, with amazing friendly staff and a good menu. I would highly recommend and we would definitely go back, well done staff. We had a greatvtime. I used the Gent's toilet earlier today and they were disgusting. I have to question why there is such an horrendous smell. It's so bad that it can be smelt in the corridor in spite of double doors I will never eat in an establishment, that disregards basic hygiene. It poses the question, 'What is the food preparation area like?'

Went today with my family,5 adults 1 child ,it was fantastic ,the service ,food ,drink,atmosphere was just perfect especially for the cost,so thank you all so much for a spectacular job,well done.

Went to order drink and food at bar, employee called Greg was disgusting to me and my friend. He was totally and utterly rude. Clearly brought up with no manners. He kissed his teeth at me multiple times when i asked for a straw and gave me dirty looks the whole way through enjoying my meal that the chef had cooked for me. Apart from the rudeness of Greg and his awful manners and personality the food was lovely and very tasteful. Wouldn’t go back though. Maybe they should consider who they put at the bar to portray their pub!

We were due to go to the ragly boat stop for lunch with family had a quick look at the reviews and thought no way so we came here instead and we are so glad we did it was so nice the guy who took our order was lovely and the meal was really nice had a pudding as well so nice and a lovely atmosphere as we were leaving even though he was serving someone else the barman said goodbye and wished us a nice day we will definitely be going back.

Me and my wife decided to come here for some drinks and food. I was very impressed with how we were accommodated the staff were friendly bubbly and attentive and the atmosphere was great. The food was we ordered delicious and there was great selection of drinks to choose from. Will definitely be returning.

I visit this pub every week for food and drinks. The food is always amazing and a good portion size, the drinks are always served with a smile and fantastic quality. Would highly recommend this local to anyone. Really like the new food menus especially the chicken gyros… absolutely delicious. The staff are great and the manager Debbie, Lorna and the staff are alway welcoming and and creates a warm friendly atmosphere . Keep up the hard work.

Fantastic place, went for dinner yesterday with some friends. Was quite busy for saying they had just opened. But couldn’t fault them. Food was great. Service was great. All over great pub! Thankyou!

We are regulars here and this place never disappoint! Bar staff friendly and welcoming despite it being busy. Food was delicious as always!! I come to the Stenson Fields most Saturday evenings and the staff are great. Always happy to help with anything requested. I decided to have some food off the new menu and WOW. Not really a fan of Greek food but tried the Gyros wrap and it was beautiful!! Big thanks to Lorna, Debbie and the team for always making us fell welcome.

Came in with my family for a nice little treat and we wasn’t disappointed. Lovely atmosphere. The staff made us feel welcomed and went above and beyond for my child. Lots of selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. We ordered a mega mixed grill, the Greek burger and kids nuggets, chips and beans. The steak was cooked beautifully and the portion was massive. The Greek burger was juicy and filling. The staff was up for a laugh. What is good is dogs are very much welcomed in the bar. Couldn’t fault this pub at all. Always have deals on. Can’t wait for my next visit.

I came in Tuesday afternoon and was served by the wonderful duo of Lorna and Luke when I first entered The food was absolutely amazing; the atmosphere is delightful and you can have a laugh with the staff members

Came on a REALLY busy Friday evening to use the B.O.G.O.F burger deal (one of the many great deals that this pub regularly offer) and as always, despite how packed it was, we experienced fabulous service from ALL the staff and the usual quality, delicious food. Initially my meal was incorrect but this was sorted out immediately with no fuss whatsoever. If you are looking for a friendly pub with a great atmosphere, excellent value food and amazing staff then look no further than the Stenson Fields!

We called in for a drink but sat outside because the weather was so nice. Not tried the food here. Looks good after a refurbishment.

It's such a welcoming, clean, intimate restaurant and bar. You can have dinner with your better half or a nice romantic evening or you can move over to the other side and have drinks with mates, watch some sport and make use of the pool table. A perfect two in one hang out local place.

Everything was fab, food and staff. Love coming here.

The atmosphere is relaxing and the food is wonderful. The people are great and all the staff from the manager the bar staff and the chiefs are out of this world by doing there best to make the customers and kids happy. Hubby & I decided to have our 'Date Night' at the Stenson Fields as their food was amazing on her previous visit. We had a 40% off mains deal, so we were looking forward to not only good food but saving money too!! We were greeted with warm smiles from staff at the bar & there was a really lively buzzing atmosphere everywhere. Fortunately we booked a table on line which was a good call as most of the tables were either being used or reserved due to how popular Stenson Fiends is. Due to how busy they were with meal orders, we & other customers were told regrettably our meals would take 45mins which we didn't mind as we enjoyed drinks & played card games & chatted while waiting. Our food on arrival was well presented. My Scampi & chips was piping hot with more than a generous portion of succulent Scampi. My husband's Chilli unfortunately wasn't as hot or as tasty/spicy as he imagined a Chilli to be but he ate it all the same as he was hungry. The Cheesy Garlic Bread he had as a side order was hot & tasty & we enjoyed our drinks too! Our table waiter was polite & cheerful to us & we witnessed this towards everyone else around us. We would still return to the Stenson as the service was great despite the Chilli issue.

Food is always exceptional. So much better than any of the other sizzling pubs.

Wow what a fantastic place to eat food was amazing and the staff couldn't do enough for you clean and tidy..I'm sure I'm not the first person to say this thank you from my family for great evening.

Lovely friendly staff, family friendly pub, good food

Been in here a good few times now as its my new local. Never once seen the tables getting wiped. They rarely get cleared. Sauces never get put back, Cutlery never gets checked so I would never in my life eat here. But honestly, it's really not hard to wipe a table once someone leaves. It's absolutely disgusting getting customers to sit at dirty sticky tables. This place could do with a really good turn around as it does have potential, but clearly nobody cares enough. Please wipe your tables! If it wasn't the only pub close to my house I would go elsewhere. I tend to rarely go out now because who wants to walk in and have to sit at a disgusting used table...

A good cheap meal for two and the normal drink selection

Not been in for a couple of years, but thought we'd take advantage of the advertised 2 for £10.50 meals. We expected ,as most deals usually are, smaller meals, but were pleasantly surprised to see really full plates. Very pleasant staff, lovely clean,well spaced out tables, peaceful atmosphere......we'll be back🙂

Ordered four meals after 1/2 hour two were served . The chips were cold and although it stated 15 scampi there was only 14 . The other two meals were served 25 minutes later again the chips were cold I mentioned it to a member if staff who wasn’t concerned . Very disappointed

First time dining here was perfect food was amazing and service was first clas if you not been here before please try it u will not be disappointed

It's only getting a 2 star because of how nice the cocktail is, if not then it'll be 1 star. We waiting 40 mins for our food to come out with no 'sorry its being plated it'll be out shortly for you', when it did come I had the tikka masala every single thing was stone cold, the naan bread was completely rock solid that a steak knife wouldn't go through it and poppadoms completely stale. Im a manager/chef at a pub, so I know how hard it is, but customer service is supposed to be everything. No check back, staff looked like they didn't want to be there at all. New to the area but will not return for sure, I'll stick to the argosy. Also the vegetarian menu is awful, please update it.
