Food a little cold but still nice

Fantastic village pub with a great garden and added bonus of an outside bar that also does the best cocktails at a great price. Happy hour 3 till 7 Mon to Fri is a bonus when you finish work and fancy a beer. Great atmosphere and the staff are very happy and helpful. Leon's food is delicious 😋

...we had a very disappointing visit here yesterday evening (saturday 23 november 2024) after watching a movie next door ...we sat down and orders were taken, the drinks and starters for kids menu was served promptly but our pizza's were taking forever ...after about 45 minutes we asked the waiter what's taking so long and he went to check - at that point he came back to tell us the kitchen says they've run out of pizza and can only do pasta ...for starters how does an Italian place run out of pizza at 7pm on a Saturday evening and secondly until we asked for our late food no one bothered to tell us that what we ordered wasn't available (surely the kitchen knew this when the order went through) ...was very annoyed as the only option the waiter gave was to order pasta (which we didn't want) or walk out without paying for the drinks - not even a proper apology from the manager, who just waved us bye at the door ...this left us with a very hungry child and trying to find somewhere else nearby with seats at 8pm on a Saturday!

Mafia guy opened the door for us and in a very intimidating way told us to go away. He said no pizza for anyone and pushed us away in a very rude maner

Always our choice for a midday coffee and tea cake. Their bacon and mushroom toasties take the biscuit!

Everything was perfect. Italian small plates are a great idea!!! Garlic bread, ceasar salad, pollo milanese, risotto, and fried zucchini. So good. Our selected wine was just ok (pinot grigio). The service was great. Food started slow and came out fast at the end. Excellent!!

Pretty good carbonara, wine options and the desserts are just amazing. Best tiramisu I’ve ever had. Great Italian food in London!

The service was perfect from start to finish. There's nothing wrong with the food either. Prices are totally justified.

This is an excellent restaurant. The food is delicious and the service was very good. My reduced rate for it comes because the person who welcomed us claimed we didn’t have a reservation and my guest who arrived first was made to feel uncomfortable and as if it was her fault. In fact, they did have a reservation and eventually found it on their system. We didn’t receive an apology for that experience, which isn’t the level of service I’d expect

Enjoyed a wonderful meal here, the Calzone was delicious! One of the best I've ever had. Every bite was delicious and it was stuffed full with mozzarella cheese and fillings. Friendly service and quick to serve. I definitely recommend this place to enjoy an authentic Italian meal. They also serve Gluten Free pizza made from scratch which was delicious.

Had an incredible Sunday roast here for my Mum's birthday. Would highly recommend this place. The staff is so polite too and helpful. Beautifully decorated inside its truly a hidden gem. Rhys was fabulous and super helpful

Brilliant service and great restaurant. The steak and pistachio cheese cake was brilliant but the deep fried calamari was average, as there was too much paprika on them. Plenty of drinks options.

Amazing food and definitely a nice Italian restaurant to visit, it is worth of money if visit weekday with the taste card subscription. (2 for 1 offer ) available for any starter and main course , but only available weekday . It not valid for Bank holiday and throughout December .
