First time I have been to a Mr Basrai’s buffet in a few years and i am saddened by how downhill it was went. Attended the Blackpool one on 10th September with my friend and the only relatively good thing was my friends sirloin steak. Food was lukewarm/cold. Desserts were sickening and not much variation. I had 2 small plates of savoury food and never finished either due to the standard of it. Will not be back.

It was my first time visiting the buffet restaurant with the wife, it was very busy and the food was very fresh. You also can park upstairs in the car park for free for two hours.

We pre booked, but had to wait for 4 walk in groups of 4 to be seated first. We were sat in a tiny 2 person booth by the ice cream counter, were everyone walks past, so no privacy. Sadly there was very little salad selection, and no dipping bowls for sauces. However the food in general was good, and a wide variety, wish they had raita sauce as well as the mango. There was not a lot of desserts.

First time we went it was good however this time it was much much worse, the food was tough, bland and cold, it was 64 pounds for the three of us on a Saturday, my dad was unhappy with how the restaurant was, as the windows were boarded up and there was signs up telling us to watch the glass, and he complained to the manager, he was calm and not swearing but the woman started swearing and arguing when he told her about the food, overall it ruined a celebration

It is one of the best buffet restaurant in Blackpool where can enjoy all world food with outstanding decisions food. Very clean and good hygiene atmosphere. Very friend staff and helpful. Manager Mr Mani is manage this restaurant with great customer services.

We visited on a Tuesday evening, about 6pm. Fairly busy but not rediculous. 3 carnivores, 4 vegetarians, 3 vegans. There was plenty of choice for everyone. All the food was really well labelled, very clear for our vegans to see what they could choose. All the staff were pleasent enough, didn’t really engage in conversation with any of them. The restaraunt was clean,servers removed used plates very frequently. MOST IMPORTANT - the food was delicious. Favourites were the beef with peppercorn gravy, the mushrooms from the chinese section and all the indian curries were absolutely delicious. Beef Jalfrezi was the best we’ve ever had and we eat a lot of curry!!!! We were only in Blackpool 3 nights, i wish we’d eaten here every night instead of just the last.

Me and my partner always come here when we fancy a bit of everything to eat! The food is always fresh if not on your first round then your second round! The chicken korma is definitely one of the nicest kormas I have tasted! The staff are friendly and always making sure the place is clean! The only dawn fall is the beers are shocking! They are flat and don’t taste like they suppose to and also the refillable machine the pop in there seems to always be flat and tasteless. We will surely be back again soon😊

Overpriced (£22 for a bottle of wine?), rude staff, screaming kids everywhere, boarded up windows, but all you can eat for £22 quid, had a blast ....what more can you ask for?

Absolutely haven’t got a clue what had happened to this place I always go every time I’m in Blackpool I went on Monday night the staff was ignorant and rude tried putting a baby down for £5.99 when she was asleep in the pram. It cost £94. Me my partner and daughter disliked most of the dishes The food was shocking the chicken was like rubber or too hard. No duck or noodles. Won’t be coming again.

On arrival the service was very poor, lacking a welcome, communication was very poor and staff were actually quite rude... the staff on the live stations were nicer.. Good selection of foods, good quality. Party of 10 everyone was happy with the food...pity about the staff as rating would have been higher.

We went to eat as it was a halal buffet however we left feeling very stressed as there were posters about a fee for wasting food. This became a constant thought throughout the whole meal what ruined the experience.

Fabulous food great service,love all the food stations. Fantastic dessert. They make a fab crème brulé. Even went on Xmas day last year . So sorry about racist thugs .

Very expensive for what it is. Floors treacherously slippery, soup cold, no napkins, tap coke nearly £3 a glass. A lot of my favourites empty (although they did replenish later). Barman was lovely as were most staff. Some food quite nice. Overall not sure I'd go back. They need more attention to things like keeping the food hot and fresh. EDIT. Returned early Aug '25 and sadly still pretty badly run...no duck, no chocolate fountain, toilet awful and prices gone up. I'm sad that they suffered in the riots, that was wrong!

The food was good, and the staff were fast at replacing food, so there wasn't a time that there wasn't any food.

Great world buffet, the Chinese and Indian food are to die for! Noodles and meat can be cooked to order at dinner time. Desserts are delicious which is sometimes a let down at a buffet. Loads of choice for everyone in the party! Toilet sinks weren't working properly so couldn't wash hands so loss of a star for me but the rest of the restaurant was great.

Not a bad place if you like the free for all dining option, was served fast and politely at the till. The food is average to good, depending on what you choose. I had a chicken curry which was average and some of the chocolate fountain marshmallows. Simple but effective, good for large groups and families, not really a good option if you're looking for a quiet meal but it's probably obvious to see. Thought the price was a tad steep but not too bad, got refillable soft drinks which helps.

It has less choices and the sushi taste like rubber. The pizza is also not good the taste is very bad. Some food is very salty and also the tomato pasta is very basic but is still very bad. Some people says the food is good but when we came is absolutely the opposite very bad!!!

Just been here won't be going back. Went to the toilet half way through to find a queue. But also no water in either the mens or ladies for people to wash their hands afterwards. Awful considering it's a help yourself buffet. Complained to be told the water pressure will have gone down. What does everyone do wait there till it comes back up?

As a lover of all you can eat venues this was our first time visiting this place in Blackpool. We absolutely loved the food and reception from all members of staff. Food was amazing and staff friendly and helpful. We will definitely be coming back.

1st time visiting and was amazing. The food selection was crazy and everything was delicious. We had steak and chicken cooked on the grill and fresh prawns cooked. Then the selection of Indian,Chinese Italian and British was perfect. I'll have to go back again to trying everything I couldn't try this time. There are plenty of dessert options too. So all in all for the price its definitely worth a visit.

Food choice is limited however available dishes are fabulous and tastes good.

Absolutely loved this place. Puddings a bit to be desired chocolate fountain and mallows were the best.

Overall great prices, family of 4 less than £90 children under 5 is only £5 plenty of choices. I even took my friends 2 yo she enjoyed the food too, which was a surprise to me with her age. 😁 I would definitely come again, on our next visit to Blackpool.

We were in Blackpool on holiday and decided to try this on Saturday 20th July. Never been before. On arriving it wasn't pleasant, you could see we were being pushed into making a decision when we had just walked in the door and before we got a table. They quickly ask how many people... I replied four, their reply is to colleague to the till, 4 buffet. Then they say drinks, this is before we even sat down, I told them 3 drinks, they then asked if i wanted water for the fourth person, then they charged me for water. Then I looked at the receipt and they had charged me for four adults. I said my daughter is not an adult and they rudely said can you produce ID for your child. I was shocked, what parent carries ID for their child ? I told them three times she was a child, she was only 10, but they rudely questioned this a number of times. As I begun to become frustrated and a crowd of people were forming and people were staring I decided to take my family out of the restaurant. It was a very awkward and embarrassing position to be put in. And from the first second I walked in it was clearly a pressurized environment with questions for the sale put straight on you, before you have even sat down or looked at the options, or gauge a price. It really is a forced hard sell as well as ignorance from about five members of staff stood intimidatingly, putting you on the spot. Never again.

I visited twice last week and I had a great experience. With Good food and taste, great friendly staff, and also good car park service. Must visit restaurants in Blackpool.

This is is the second time I’m visiting Basrai, once I went in Edinburgh and today we were in Blackpool. Though there were number of varieties none of them got any taste and the worst part is absolutely RUDE staff they don’t treat customers as they were giving food for free and doing social service. We group of 8 people all have same opinion. I absolutely DONT RECOMMEND Mr. Basrai any where in the world, management need to take care because they run out of business.

Poor standards, they limit people food that they advertise to be buffet. As for dessert, we had to wait for someone to serve us and there wasn't always someone available. Dont get me started with parking! What a scam! We were charged for overstaying with 2 seconds because their parking machines works so slow and kept on giving us error code , we spent almost 6 minutes there trying to put the cupon in. Ridiculous!! Waste of money, i do not recommend anyone to go there

My Family always look forward to going to Mr.Basrai's he always makes them feel welcome and respects the fact that some of them have travelled from Manchester.

the prices are ok, almost 4 pounds per glass for refills of carbonated drinks, you pour as much as you want and drink, but when you come with several children, each of them must have their own glass, you cannot divide the glass between two people, the prices are about 20 for an adult, and half for children, the food is good, but if a child doesn't eat something there is a penalty of 5 pounds for wasting food, overall come and check it out, it's definitely worth it, I recommend it

So just me and the wife on this visit, whilst the rest of the family, went off on their own adventure. Came here the last holiday, which was fine, so we came again. Buffets are a mix bag imo, sometimes hot sometimes warm. Odd cold dish. You have to have in your head, the fact you know, everyone is handling the utensils. Occasional the food. Why, I always have a alcohol hand sanitary bottle to use with us, after every trip up to the dishes. The food over all was fairly good, I'm not into chips, noodles rice, were the wife is, I ate plenty of ribs, not much meat on them, but okay. Chicken curry, sweet and sour. Tried numerous meats. There's plenty on offer, your not always going to like everything, that's your own taste of foods. Never had anything I wasn't too keen on. Overall, I was happy with choices, and quality of the dishes. The puddings were nice too. Let's be fair whom doesn't like to indulged. Tried many, and that ended up, filling me to the brim. Oh the danger of buffets, Yep, good evening.

I come to this restraunt at least once a week I enjoy there good selection of different curry's and starters and desserts there is a bit of everything from popcorn chicken and nuggets and chips and pizza for kids too curry's sushi roast dinner and a bar where you can order a steak how you want it or lamb chops etc the staff are friendly can look a little down sometimes when there super busy but I would be too serving hundreds of People in a hot kitchen setting every day as it can be pretty warm but all in all there pretty welcoming there is a good selection of cakes and a choclate fountain they also have a noodle bar and they have a alcohol bar aswell as a unlimited fizzy drinks option for iron bru coke and Vimto for just under £5 which is not to bad if you drink a lot while u eat £5 is a steal if you like me and have like 4-5 glasses the food is always hot and the self service areas are always clean and I will continue you to go here once a week for as long as there open for £27 you can eat as much as you like and drink as many fizzy drinks as you like Bargain !!!!

The sea food is wayyyy too spicy to taste the actual prawns Staff can be a bit more polite especially the chefs cooking on grill I wish it had more prawn options than just 1 spicy and no taste

Today we went to Mr. Basrai’s world cuisines blackpool to celebrate my sister’s birthday, its an absolutely smashing place. There are huge variety of fresh food from around the globe. We enjoyed the delicious live cooking stations and also mouthwatering desserts. Customer service was also great. All staff members were very helpful and kind. We all are very grateful ☺️ for their service and we would highly recommend giving this place a try. Thank you so much Mr Basrai’s for making my sister’s birthday special and memorable.

Service is fantastic food is amazing and price is extremely reasonable, don't leave your plate unattended for more than a second though the staff will whip it away 😂 very keen on the washing up 😉

This was our first time visiting and omg Mr basrais was fantastic it would of been 10 stars!! From minted lamb chops to sushi to carvery I could keep going on and on this place is a must if your in Blackpool. We will deffo be returning

I went here Friday with family, food was nice very surprised, atmosphere was good . Service was disgusting to be honest if my family was not with me If would of been a lot different, member of staff young lad 20s -25 years old was very very rude , when he sat my family down he literally threw the cutlery onto the table the attitude that he had was really disgusting, unprofessional at its best . You need to sort your staff out .. Will I go back not really because I don't think I would personally hold back if I seen the same waiter a would probably throw him through 1 of the windows.. im not a violent person but sometimes people really do deserve what they get when they think they can insult women ..a shame really it was a nice place for food....

We booked a table but when we got there, there was no table for us. They were not checking bookings and searing other people who came in after us. After 20 mins after our booking time and still no table. We left

Absolute shambles did not even get to stay. Booked a table arrived early. 20 minutes after booking time still not found us a table. People walking round with clip boards like they know what was going on. In reality they weren't even checking for bookings. Half the seating upstairs and the buffet downstairs. Not sure taking food upstairs is that safe when I goto other industries and your not allowed to even hold a phone as you have to use both handrails. People milling around with no sense of order. Judging by what I saw I would never go back or even recommend to anyone Might be me being picky but I have been to many buffets and I accept maybe a few stairs to go up or down but definitely never had or saw anything about seating being on the first floor.

Celebrated my husbands 60th birthday here with all the family. The food was piping hot and delicious. It was very busy but that didnt stop the staff taking their time to talk

Absolutely wonderful place with many options for starters and main course, both Indian and Chinese cuisine. They had couple of options for desserts, all tasty. I haven’t come across such menu in UK for Indian cuisine. What I loved: Chicken pizza, matar kulcha, chicken lollipop, chilly chicken, butter chicken, custard, and malai ice cream. In veg, there were paneer options and tikki option in starter, all tasty. Rest assured, if you are dining here, you will find something or the other tasty because the options are just too many to choose from. The owner is also friendly. Washrooms were also clean, just that they were too small but okay as long as they are clean. Totally recommend this place!

Dropped on here 45 mins before it closed staff couldn't do enough told us to take our time and allowed us to relax even when everyone else bad finished brought dessert out after they had cleared it away food was fantastic with a pleasant atmosphere will defo be going again fantastic

Like visiting Mr Basra's whenever we're in Blackpool. Love the Indian cuisine. But I do like to try the Chinese buffet too! If you don't fancy that you can have a roast dinner! Or a steak and much more.
