Without doubt, the worst Pizza Hut dining experience I’ve had in over 45 years. No point in going into detail about the particular issues - there’s too many to mention. Suffice to say that I would NEVER visit this Pizza Hut EVER AGAIN. If you’ve ever been unfortunate or foolish enough to have visited this particular Pizza Hut and been disappointed or put off, please rest assured that ALL the other ones I’ve ever visited are miles better than this dump whether you’re talking about Food, Service or Atmosphere!

Food expensive and greasy. Staff were pleasant enough.

When we arrived we were quickly seated. They left us a few minutes then I went to the till to order and pay. Bonus to find I could us me Defence Discount Card. Once paid you are given glasses to get your drinks. You can also use the salad bar whilst waiting for you order. Both pizzas arrived together and were lovely and hot. By the time we were finishing our meal there was a queue out the door as the upstairs was not open yet. I over heard a staff member telling someone in the queue that the upstairs opened at 17:00. The place was clean and tidy.

I've been to many pizza huts restaurants over the years but this has to be the worst pizza hut ever! The pizzas were awful. Dry, under cooked cheese, cold and just horrible. The waitresses look disengaged, it was beyond diabolical. Then the bill - over £100 for our family for rubbish pizzas. The ones on my freezer back home would have tasted much better at £1.50!!! Never ever will I be at a Pizza Hut ever again.

The staff and service was rude, especially the so called manager 'BW', the soft drink from the drinks machine was flat, the deep pan Veggie Supreme was nothing but, it was thin, hardly any cheese or vegetables on top and lukewarm warm at best..... The salad bar was depleted at best, the atmosphere was cold and hurried.... We ate 3 of the 8 slices of pizza and and refused to eat any more and was told by the manager unhelpfully that he will refund half the pizza price of nearly £29.!! | don't know what school he went to but 3 out of 8 slices is not half a pizza..?!? In the end he reluctantly refunded the full amount and refused to give his name and little did he realise he had given his name inadvertently as it was on the bill..!! Terrible customer service all round, AVOID AT ALL COST..!!

It was a busy evening in Blackpool and we landed in this particular branch for food. It was not the worst or the best to be honest but still had some good quality For how busy it got at the start the staff did so well and got food out at a good pace, but when it settled standards slipped, cleanliness was a major issue, no floors were swept and around the salad bar as you are a huge branch with well known standards you'd expect a clean area and it was not, but as customers left tables were cleaned quick, but again around the drinks station and ice cream factory there was zero evidence it had been cleaned. Working in this industry myself I know about wear and tear but I think investment in cleaning chairs and booths down better would do great The actual food itself was pretty fair, the salad was fresh and tasty as you'd hope, the pizza was hot and fresh and also was really tasty, but the fries were just okay. They didn't taste bad but 100% needed more time in the fryer, as they were limp and soft on the bottom half But what did sell me most was the service, the manager on the top floor showed you what it is to give top service, he was active on the floor with a great smile and was constantly making sure every customer was okay, doing some cleaning and also just having a good time. The two lasses on the top floor where we sat did a great job, other than the floors, they were attentive and superb servers, and you could tell they had a long shift but still did great

Undercooked massively, chewy, and tiny portions. I wish i could get a refund, to be honest.

Walked in and we were immediately met with terrible service. Sat down to a wobbly table and left to order on phone. They then proceeded to bring us dirty glasses from the kitchen. When we asked about it they Again brought us more dirty glasses. Not asked once how our food was or any chit chat. They could clearly tell we were not locals and I felt we were treated differently because of it. DO NOT EAT HERE!!!!

Ordering by mobile was unworkable as although connected to their WiFi due to poor mobile signal inside the restaurant, the WiFi was so slow, fortunately we were able to order from the member of staff. All 4 meals arrived at the table together, however when it came to desert the kids deserts have arrived and they have finished eating them. Myself and my partner are still waiting for desert, so decided to right this review whilst we wait.

Customer service was awful. Staff was just stood behind the bar doing nothing. Pizza buffet empty for atleast 15 minutes turning customers away or telling them they had to wait atleast 15 minutes and that’s when the pizza buffet ended. Even though seats was empty.

Over priced pizza's, staff are friendly and professional.

Quite difficult to order with the scan the QR code and we were seated upstairs, it was freezing we asked for the air con to be turned down but it wasn't, good food, children's pizza and flat bread, chips a bit hard, salad bar is disappointing but glad to get back outside in the sun to warm up the 4 and 5 year olds in our party who were freezing!

Not great food or service, pizza's ok, onion rings and half of fries well undercooked,salad bar rubbish. Staff just stood talking to each other, while since we been pizza hut, we were looking forward to it but can't see us going again any time soon

Ordering was not easy - food was good but don't be there after 9pm! Didn't remember about the sweets we ordered due to clearing restaurant. Will not be back - felt like we were stopping them getting home although we left at 9:30 and they alledgedly close at 10

We were on holiday, and my son chose this as his favourite restaurant for an evening meal. I am reviewing this specific Pizza Hut, as I’m aware they are all slightly different. There were three adults and two children. 👍 ♿ We were seated immediately on the ground floor section, which suited our needs as we were travelling with a disabled person. 👍♿ We were seated adjacent to the disabled toilets. 👍 Friendly, helpful servers who explained the ordering process. 👍 All of our main orders automatically allowed us access to the usual “self-service” salad bar, which the adults all enjoyed immensely. 👍 A good selection of self-service, on-tap soft drinks. 👍 Our food arrived quickly and was to the standard expected from the franchise. 👍 The servers happily provided us with take-out boxes for the leftovers. 👎 Our biggest complaint and the reason for the poor rating:- On arriving, the customer has to use their own device to order the food online, and it has to be PAID FOR in advance. For us, this was a first in Pizza Hut. It was a kerfuffle, involved downloading the app, etc. and felt counterintuitive to sitting down for a relaxing meal in a restaurant. 👎 As a result of all of the above, the servers did very little. We did all of the work, including cleaning up a spilt glass of squash. 👎 It felt like a complicated, fast food franchise and was not what we paid for. Add to that the cost. 😱For three pizzas, one pasta, three sides, and five drinks, the cost was £126.00. I may have felt better had I known all of the above in advance - I’m hoping my review helps others decide.

Staff are excellent brilliant team and service asked for spicy beef pizza they did 1 better and came out with a chicken fajita was overly satisfied *****

The team are always lovely and makes our visit to the sea side worthwhile. Always a warm welcome and the buffet isn’t half bad either!

Ok, I've never been to Pizza Hut at lunch. Ordered the top buffet meal for 1 adult and 1 x 3 year old. Not a lot of choice when at the hot pizza counter. Salad needed a big top up also. Went and asked for more pizza, and to be honest, the server did ask what pizza flavour I wanted and bought out a variety. Maybe if this was explained when I paid £25 I would not have to further wait for the hot counter to be replenished. I went for a late lunch, so maybe this is policy to fill up in between a certain time at customers' requests. I have no problem with the service, but maybe an explanation when I paid to state if I wanted a specific pizza , (it was after 2 pm), then say when paying. Not when settled getting salad ànd drink, ready to eat. Loved the ice cream factory and unlimited refill. Overall friendly staff but poor communication for a newbie at Pizza Hut buffet. To add, though, my 3 year old loved the all you can eat buffet style. Thought she was on holiday on an all inclusive lol 😆

Place is absolutely filthy, food all over the floor, tables were dirty, toilets smelt disgusting, flies , so we didn't have the salad or use knifes and forks, staff are clueless, will go to south shore next time

Good if you like pizza. But a bit pricey considering its just pizza.

Came over for the day on the 6th of June 2024 stopped of here for lunch not much pizza to choose from as was massive didn't eat anything else all day they out of the blue I felt ill and had to stop my friend said the plates wasn't clean and thinks I might have had a one of the dirty plates I'm inclined to agree with him as it's rare I'm poorly and I wouldn't eat here again if they can't clean things properly

The food is great! There is a meal deal ice cream and a drink I loved the pepperoni pizza. It was the best Coming back again.

I never leave bad reviews, but this place should not be open unless something is done to improve it. Honestly the worst pizza Pizza Hut I’ve been to. The place was stinking dirty, no food left in the salad bar, with a very rude reaction from the manager when asked if he could replace something. The food was ridiculously greasy and overpriced. it was absolutely swimming in grease and was tasteless. My partner was violently sick after eating here. Would never return. I’m sorry for the very poor review, but I wouldn’t want anyone else being sick from eating here.

The food was terrible Wasn't cooked right and it was very expensive for Mac and cheese which is very small £12.99 for Mac and cheese so small !

Dismal! Extremely overpriced for the low rent food on offer and virtual lack of service apart from delivery of the sad meal to the table. I bought into the idea of a well known chain being high quality, very much not the case unfortunately. Railroaded into ordering through table bar code and an irritatingly complex menu system. Won’t be returning 😢

I came here with a rather large party. We pre-booked for 7:45 as there was no room for us at 7:30, however when we got there, the restaurant was empty. We all ordered via the app and there was able to pay individually, which I think is a great idea. However the issue then came when the food arrived. It all came out in drips and drabs, some of the party had finished eating before others had receive their food! The food we received was nice and of a good quality. I appreciate that there were 20 of us, but there were several serves just standing there, who couldn’t helped. Just a shame the service was up to the same standard as the food.

The one thing we asked to definitely be removed from the pizza was still left on it. 🤷 The order was then corrected though, and another pizza made fresh. The food was nice. We just ended up eating separately, because otherwise the other pizza would've gone cold. A shame.

Manager refused entry for disabled person even after I spoke to him about making a reservation for later , I don’t know if it was because I was black. I didn’t feel comfortable afterwards.

The food presentation is good, since everyone can obtain the pizza or salad or drinks easily, and comfortably

We ordered a lunch buffet after looking at the mains which were price at £17.99 for one pizza which is unbelievable. The pizzas and the salads all tasted horrible. The atmosphere didn’t feel right , we sat next to the door and people were queuing next to us and the lighting felt odd. Also when we first walked in, we had to wait a bit until a staff member would finally give us attention, staff were friendly to be fair but I don’t think will go back there again.

Pizza was great as always. Decent cheese and topping galore. As a type 1 diabetic I was disappointed to be told the bottomless machine was broken and they don't stock zero sugar alternatives but "tap water" that was the best I was offered. They did allow for me to bring bottles in but it is awful that they don't stock bottles of zero sugar alternatives. Overall good service.

Pizza was ok, chips tasted and looked burnt ordered garlic bread with cheese that never came out so said to waitress and she said it would be right out and it never came so went and asked about it again, they weren't apologetic just said do you want it now or a refund, I took the refund which I don't even think went back into my account

Staff are friendly and want to help but think they lack training. The place needs to spend a little more time cleaning and clearing away after customers. Food was OK for the money.

I'm not sure if my pizza hut memories are through young rose tinted glasses or if they were just better in the past but it's not great anymore. Service was friendly, you can't deny that (although QR codes shouldn't be mandatory). Food is bang average, which would be fine if it was cheap, but you're paying prices which deserve top quality food (and which you can get in a very good restaurant in London) but you only get supermarket quality pizza.

Food great. Manager professional and polite. The female waitress needs training in customer service. She was unhelpful and rude all stemming from fact we wasn't wanting to order from app. She said we had to order from app despite us not wanting to. Yet, another family She happily took order on pen and paper. Inconsistent rules. Spent £70 + to not be able to order as we wish. Understand they are encouraging orders through app similar to mcdonalds but when your spending over £70 its complete different set up from fast food to dining. We spoke to manager who said he would speak to her. He was professional and understanding so cant fault him . Son's meal had to be re cooked( no explanation why or apology) so his came out late. Dissapointing service. Our food was tasty so can't fault that.

Did the buffet option, 2 adults 1 child £44+ Slow to replace empty buffet trays and only 4 toppings to choose from cheese, cheese and onion, chicken and sweetcorn and peperoni.

What an absolute gem, the pizza a and garlic bread are amazing and all your favourite toppings.

Staff were friendly an efficient. However the venue was small as upstairs was closed, meaning they were turning people away. There want as much choice in the buffet as Liverpool One's Pizza Hut and the ice cream machine was broken, though they did have soft scoop. Improbably wouldn't return to this branch.

It was s quiet Sunday night, service was good. The salad bar had seen better times but the food is dependable.

Blackpool Pizza Hut, by the Winter Gardens. The food was good once it had arrived. Orders are taken by use of a QR code attached to the table you occupy. Staff are helpful with any queries or to assist with anything else. I ordered a Chicken Supreme to share. Pizza was well presented on arrival, however, it was barely warm. There was a lengthy wait from ordering to arrival of the pizza, some 45 minutes...not great when you have theatre tickets booked! A good atmosphere with hard working and approachable staff, food is served fresh, just need to speed up on the delivery of your o rider.

Amazing restaurant. Great food and the service was EXCELLENT. Waitress was VERY helpful and fantastic with our son keeping him happy :)

I have always been a fan of pizza ever since I can remember, and it was great to visit one of my childhood favorite places to get a decent pizza. The flavours were great and the staff were friendly.

Pizza hut is always good food no matter which one you go to but I honestly can't believe how shockingly poor the staff are here. Absolutely terrible service, will never go to this one again.

Daughter wanted pizza so came here. Managed to get table downstairs as had my son in pram sleeping. Waitress took our order which was fab can’t be bothered with scanning ordering food was delicious fresh salad bar was nice. Not many tables down stairs to cater for people with prams mostly seating upstairs would recommend booking if had pram to get seat downstairs.

Visited on a Saturday afternoon, not busy, but service was very slow. Food also very expensive. £30 for what just used to be referred to as a large pizza and £20 for a 10" pizza. They claim that an unlimited salad, worth £7 is included, which firstly is an over valued salad and secondly isn't much use when you're subsidising those who actually want limp lettuce and some cucumber. Won't be visiting a pizza hut again.

On the night of our visit there was one manager & a waitress on duty. The restaurant was very busy and both were highly efficient, polite and attentive throughout our stay. The salad was very fresh with a good range. Bowls were clean and we had no concerns about hygiene in the restaurant except typically many are handling the salad servers. Perhaps hand gel should be supplied in this area. Our vegan pizzas were delicious. The vegan cheese cake highly recommended. Nothing to complain about. The staff work very hard and it’s a pity some reviewers don’t appreciate this. Overall a good experience.

Haven't been to a Pizza Hut in ages as they were shut down near where I lived, once got in after a queue, ordered our food which for the choices they had on the menu were not that good, so ordered ours, but asked no mushrooms on it and after about fifteen minutes it cam out with mushrooms on, so just took them off and started to eat it, as grandson had already started to eat his and was nearly done, but would never go into one ever again, as too pricey for what we got, and not enjoyable either.

Definitely pay attention to the bad reviews as this place is awful. Asked for a table of 3 which had to wait 20 minutes for, we were finally seated and ordered food and drinks via the app. Soon as our order went through we went to get salad, there were no salad bowls out so waited for more, eventually we were given plates. By time we got back the 3 drinks we ordered still hadn't arrived so we waited longer, my partner then asked a guy working who mentioned it to a manager, the manager was heard saying 'i am busy' no one came back with our drinks, we'd by now finished our salads and had been waiting almost half an hour for 3 drinks so we had to ask a different server, no apology given and another 10 minutes passed before we got our drinks. Went to get my daughters bottomless juice only for the water machine to not work, no sign to warn customers of this. We then waited almost an hour for our food, no explanation no apology and if anything the servers avoided tables waiting for food and continued filling up tables despite how busy they were. We asked a red headed woman for a refund, told her we were waiting almost an hour and that it was not good enough a table beside us were also requesting a refund. Again no apology, she simply said 'ok' before disappearing, she soon reappeared with a notepad and asked for our order number, she wrote them down and walked off, yet again no explanation not one apology instead she simply walked away and continued serving other tables! We didn't know If our complaint had been dealt with or if she was coming back we were literally sat not knowing! We got ready to go and spoke to the manager who as the rest of his team didn't seem to apologetic whatsoever, instead mentioned they were busy and we had to wait 3-5 working days to get our money back! Appalling customer service, we would have been fine if staff warned us they'd be a wait or even acknowledged our table.

Lovely food with fantastic service from the staff. Only problem was the place is small.

Salad and pizzas were delicious. We were served by Lacy, she was absolutely amazing.

Called today for a meal with family visiting all Blackpool has to offer. Manager was looking after the whole downstairs area on his own and he was rushed off his feet. Superb happy and smiley service. Definitely a Manager who leads from the front and by example. Everyone was treated in a really nice way and great customer service. A credit to Pizza Hut.

Food was OK, nothing above and beyond. Service was good, although slow as it took near enough 25 minutes for cookie dough. Atmosphere was as good as it could be, but overall the space is limited

From the guy downstairs who welcomed us into Pizza Hut, asked if we would like to sit downstairs or upstairs, asked if we would like buffet or main menu and asked if anyone had food allergies or special food requirements keeping us informed about when we would be seated. Paul upstairs greeted us and made sure that the information that he had received from downstairs was correct and showed us to our table. Paul answered our questions and was extremely helpful creating our order as we were new to the QR code ordering process. Even though Paul was alone and very busy upstairs the service was superb from him, thank you Paul for making our family lunch perfect.

We had booked for a meal with our grand kids and it was perfect for them and us. Two of the kids had pizza which were the perfect size and the other spaghetti bolognese which saw the plate cleared. I had a BBQ pizza which I thoroughly enjoyed. The service was excellent and the staff very helfpul. Only down side was having to carry a buggy upstairs for our youngest grand daughter, would be good if there was a space downstairs to park them

Service was good but they were really busy and it seemed a bit hectic. Not to criticise the staff, they were doing their best. Food was great though so I'd definitely recommend a visit.

Made to wait in the doorway for 5 minutes in a virtually empty restaurant. No server came to our table as I refuse to order via an app so I had to go and order at the counter. 10 minutes for drinks and nearly 30 minutes for the pizza.

Not only was half of my order missing from the delivery! I called and they said …yes we forgot to give the driver the desserts but we gave them the other sides so they must have eaten them. Either try contacting just eat or you can walk here to collect it. - it’s a 30 min walk and not my fault they messed up!

As a dad with a kid with extra medical needs on this visit... The greeter at the door was attentive and listened to our needs, relayed that information perfectly to the greeter upstairs, who relayed the information to the server. Angelina was our server, she went above and beyond to ensure our experience was a great one, the food was fast and delicious, the drinks were great (although I'd prefer to have the full sugar refillable, I'd pay more for it as with McD, but not the extortion of the glass bottles!) the desserts were great too. Pizzahut generally is very overpriced these days, wish they would address that, I'd frequent them more if they would, but that's not a slight on this store... more a general observation.

Easy to order good food that we all like and very good service from all of the staff involved

When we walked in and ordered all of our food the waitress never came over to ask if our food was okay when she asked every table around us and was staring and giving us dirty looks then I had waited 30 minutes for a desert when the manager was running around checking who’s orders were who and asked the waitress numerous times if she had given me my desert and she kept replying no not yet as she was avoiding us at all costs it’s a really bad experience and one of our pizzas was disgusting as if the bacon was left out and had gone off, we asked her to wait a second as we were trying to figure out who’s food was who’s she dumped it down and walked away, I had to ask for forks to be put onto our table and the tortilla chips were stale, she was rude and would not come over to us and I had to ask the manager to get my desert and waited 30-40 minutes for it as when she seated people she walked away as fast as she could even when we said excuse me and I won’t be going back as she was rude that’s not what customer service is and I work in retail as a customer service assistant so it’s clear she has no skills and ruined our experience we will not be returning

Well when we arrived we were seated at table 3. Waitress just said scan the qrcode to order. Like why not just take our order. I did say why not just take our order. Brought our glasses over and Slammed them on the table. My daughter ended up with cobwebs all over her hair from the sign above our table that was covered in cobwebs and spiders. We had to ask for cutlery to be told well there was some there before. Well we’re not eating coleslaw with our fingers. The waitress looked like she didn’t want to be at work. Serving skills were shocking slamming food on the table. Ignoring people. Not good food wasn’t good either

I visited Pizza Hut with high hopes of a quick and delicious meal, especially since we were practically the only customers in the restaurant at the time. However, the reality was far from it. We ended up waiting for an hour for our pizza to arrive. Although the staff was friendly and attempted to be helpful, the speed of service was extremely slow, which was baffling given the nearly empty restaurant. It seemed like they had the slowest person working in the kitchen. Even though the staff was courteous, the wait time was just too long to overlook. I appreciate the staff’s efforts, but it’s hard to imagine returning when the kitchen’s efficiency is lacking to this extent. I believe management should look into improving the speed of service to ensure a better dining experience for all customers. As it stands, I would advise others to consider alternative options if they’re in a hurry.

After waiting for quite a while (we expected to as there was 8 of us, 1 in a wheelchair, and a fireworks display later on) Carl and Alfie bent over backwards to make sure we had a positive experience.

Avoid if you have children. We arrived to be told there was no space for our pram, so we explained we could leave it outside. The manager made a comment "you can but its not the best area" After being seated we could actually fold and fit the pram beside us as there was space. Anyhow we were told to order though the app, which is fine. We then asked if it was possible to heat our 10 month old sons food up, the answer was no, food could only be 'cooled down'. After showing staff the pizza hut restaurants website stating they were baby friendly and could warm food, we were offered some hot water. We were seated by the door and the manager told several families there was a long wait/and turned away anyone with a pram. The upstairs floor was completely empty. The staff clearly don't like children, which is fine, each to their own, but maybe go and work at a casino or bar rather than a supposedly child friendly restaurant! We were made to feel very unwelcome and only stayed due to our 3 year old being hungry and having a long drive home ahead of us.

Prices were a joke 🤣 😞 seriously they was. sharer pizza priced as two thirty something pounds, when anywhere else calls it a large, if you go to a proper Italian prices are better.

Everything went well from the moment we entered the shop we felt totally at ease with a very friendly welcoming

Amazing service from our waitress Angelia, she was attentive and patient and answered all of our questions! She was the right amount of chatty too asking us what we had planned for the rest of the day. Our reason for visiting pizza hut was to give it “one last try” after ordering pizza hut and them missing some items from our order, but our waitress absolutely refilled our faith in pizza hut. We each had the unlimited buffet with drinks and icecream, everything was lovely. Thanks to our waitress, we would absolutely return!

Not very good waiting outside then when seated food took ages to come and even had to ask for the table to be cleared and ask for dessert also was very dirty inside chicken bones on the floor

Excellent experience. Good choice of pizza available and good value for money

Staff was friendly and nice but we sat downstairs and there was not alot of pizza but upstairs they had plenty.

Went in late on an evening and was quite busy, seemed short staffed, only one very nice bloke running round trying to do everything himself so service was a bit slow, they ran out of fries which wasnt great

We had the buffet for lunch, excellent value and there was a good choice of pizza and salad available, the staff who were on shift 04/08/23 (Paul and unfortunately didn't catch the ladies' name) were both very lovely and provided excellent care and service to guests. It was very busy but they both worked so hard and made sure everything ran smoothly.

Everything was brilliant, the staff are patient and the food was lovely. We literally couldn’t fault anything at all.

Dining with two hungry children the buffet was ideal as there’s no waiting at all and they can choose what they eat. The salad bar means that they both also had a side of vegetables with their lunch.

Had the buffet lunch - plenty of salad/pizza/pasta as advertised, tasty and hot. Odd time kids had to wait for cheese/pepperoni but not too long. Fun for the kids to choose and pick what they liked. Bit pricey but it was a sunday. Better to go in the week not weekends. Tables need to be spread out more, too tight and need to cater for different people sizes.

Great value food and good service. After walking around pizza/Italian restaurants in Blackpool after 8pm on a Friday evening, and finding all full/closed or no capacity, these guys were our choice. Great value, no fuss, no excuses that they are full with empty tables. Top job ig all you are after is a simple Pizza!! 🍕

Had to wait for a table service was quick

I tried the new Farmhouse pizza, thin base. Was lacking in topping and the vase at one side was hard. I had to give up with it in the end. Best part was the free salad.
