Went here last night with the family. Outstanding food, I had the steak and mushroom pasta, so creamy and big chunks of steak. Hubby had the calzone, enormous! Service was good too, we've been here a few times and they don't rush you along like some places. Lovely friendly family atmosphere.

Would not recommend! We had a table of 9 people booked for 18:45. We had starters which we did not receive until around 19:45 the mains then continued to take a long time and the table did not receive the food till nearly 9pm! I have never been to a restaurant and requested to take desert home due to the length of time the food was taking. They were not particularly busy, there was around 4/5 other tables in there at this time who also seemed to be waiting a long time for food. The staff were not very vigilant and took their time to notice plates needed clearing.

Huge portions and delicious food. Excellent service. Highly recommended.

Superb pizza ! Generously topped with pepperoni red onion & cherry tomatoes making it sweet & delicious ***** An update following our last visit to La Piazza Wow what a great day ! We visited the restaurant this time on May day bank holiday Sunday the weather was stunning & so was the food & drink, the staff were amazing nothing was too much trouble (this was our first dine in previously we had takeaway) on the lovely terrace at the front of the restaurant there was a young lady (Amy) singing Beautifully ! The atmosphere was exceptional ! So we began our visit on the terrace with possibly the best pint of Peroni in Lancashire ice cold & very welcome on a red hot afternoon we then moved inside to dine, the inside is every bit as impressive as the outside very authentic decor & the vespa on the front of the bar looks so cool ! The tables are big with plenty of room around them and the cutlery, plates, dishes & glasses were spotlessly clean I had the "la-Piazza" house special pizza which was simply amazing my wife who isn't a pizza fan had a slice & couldn't believe it ! She had the Carbonara that she had previously as takeaway & it was quite wonderful even better than she remembered, we shared a garlic bread with cheese that was out of this world & washed it down with house red that was both fruity & very good value (been Mama's of old Guilliano days customers) we can't believe how lucky we are to discover this Little Gem in the Blackpool area ! Keep doing what you're doing La Piazza see you really soon ! Ps we have also had takeaway again since this visit A1 *****

Every time I travel up to Blackpool for the dancing, I always have to go here because the food it too delicious. The staff are lovely and always do their best and more. I had the lasagne, strawberry refresher and tirimisu. All of them were so so mouth watering. I can't wait to come back next year!

This is probably the best Italian restaurant I've ever been in. Staff are polite & friendly without being intrusive. Food is reasonably priced but excellently cooked and presented. Highly recommended.

Such a lovely little place.You walk through the door and the smell smacks you in the face.Only a hint of the lovely food they serve here.The wonderful smell adds to the lovely atmosphere,i came today with my children.But this place would make for a lovely date night its so nice inside.We were served by lovely staff in a beautifully clean and pretty restaurant.Food was served in good time and hot . Freshly made and freshly served.I had the carbonara,it was so heavenly.Such a wonderful creamy but rich and cheesy taste. Absolutely perfect and even my fussy daughter loved her food.We all had a wonderful time today thank you

An amazing Valentines night for my husband and I. Staff were attentive, excellent service, the food was delicious. I would recommend this restaurant, very nice for couples or families. You won't be disappointed.

I recently visited La Piazza with my family and daughter. I am gluten free and cannot eat nuts or fish due to allergies. Chloe and her team were fantastic at looking after us all and my dietary needs. The gluten free tomato garlic bread was yummy and the gluten free pasta was super tasty and fresh. The rest of my party were really happy with thier meals, my daughter loved her food too which is rare so yey! We had a fantastic evening and will definitely be back soon. I find it so hard to eat nice food due to my restrictions but they had plenty of options for me here. Thank you so much 😀❤️🌈

Have been here on 2 occasions previously but wont be returning. Service is very good but have now had 2 bad visits. A lesson learned. Food poor and served cold.

We visited Blackpool and were staying in Bispham. We rang at 5.10pm on New Year’s Eve not holding out much hope for a table. The restaurant bent over backwards for us and managed to accommodate us. We arrived and was seated quickly. It was a set menu however my daughter did not like anything on there. They offered her the children’s menu and a choice of pizza or pasta which she chose. The service was brilliant the food was phenomenal and we had a fantastic family meal on New Year’s Eve . Thank you so much xx

Thought we would try somewhere different for a change, starters chicken livers white wine garlic chilli bland couldn’t taste any chilli whatsoever Mrs enjoyed her calamari, garlic bread doughy, I had fillet steak scrappy piece of steak ever peppercorn sauce tasteless, Mrs enjoyed her lasagne it was disappointing will not return there are far better restaurants in Bispham

Wonderfully friendly people, beautiful food and very helpful with gluten free options. The presentation of the food made everything so appetising.

No atmosphere, food was over salted, over cooked and sadly, I doubt we will ever return. We have dined here on a regular basis for many years, but over the last few months it has lost everything good. The staff just do their job. There is no atmosphere, no chat, no fun anymore. The food tonight - doughy floury garlic bread, over salted chicken had to be sent back to the kitchen. When the dish was returned, the chicken was overcooked, the sauce was watery and uninteresting. We used to love this place and are so sad that a once truly fabulous restaurant is now a shadow of its former self. 😢

Came here last night for my cousins birthday, what a cracker of a restaurant. Staff were attentive, atmosphere was lovely and the food was great. Would definitely return to La Piazza!

5 stars all the way for this Italian restaurant, the food was absolutely scrumptious, I ordred pizza gluten free but you wouldn't have known it was the best pizza I've tasted. My son's steak was devine, everything was beautifully cooked, the service was second to none, the staff were very attentive, great drinks menu, great food menu and it had a lovely authentic Italian feel to the place, we felt like we were on holiday in Italy, I definitely would recommend this restaurant and will definitely be returning, thankyou for making it a wonderful experience

Disappointing,, no atmosphere, no chat from waiters …had garlic mushrooms each awful ,, watery , bland … garlic bread dry …pizza ham and mushroom,, tasteless looked more like tuna..lasagna looked like tomato soup ..waste of money …advise would be to employ a new chef and improve ambiance of place ..

Spag bol was dry and huge delays between starter and main course.

We were a walk on to this restaurant and afterwards wished we had kept on walking. Food was bland and uninspiring, decor the same. Waiting staff are not the most helpful. So the food, my wife, had the chicken in a cream and mushroom sauce, which was bland and very thin, not as described. Well, as you say, chefs with over 40 years of experience should know what they need to do. As for me giving lots of negative reviews, I don't think I have only given my humble opinion. When food is poor, what can I say, I can only give a review on what is presented in front of me. Sorry if that offends.

Fantastic food and ambience, this is the go-to place for authentic Italian cuisine. Could not rate this restaurant highly enough, next time we are in the area we will be back. The lasagne was delicious, and my wife thoroughly enjoyed the vegetarian options available. If you haven't tried La Piazza before, this place should be next on your dining-out list!

Just awful. We have been coming here for 30 years... but never again! Everything about this place has lost its sparkle. The food was simply below par for the prices they charge & compared to the standards we always used to receive and expect from this once upon a time, little gem of a restaurant. The staff are miserable, unsmiling, and disinterested. Atmosphere was zero.

Ate here twice in July one with wife and kids and second time my mum and sister also joined us. Both times, both the food and service was excellent. I ate the surf and turf special and the steak was cooked to perfection (yes, it had a bit of red juice of it - it was a rare steak 😄). Also tried a bit of others various pizza and pasta dishes and all were excellent. Nice glass if red too. Service was very attentive with someone always on hand to take orders with a friendly family feel. Nothing about the evening felt rushed either. Highlight for me was the absolutely delicious home made tiramisu. Not only tasty but a massive serving too. Will definitely visit next time we are back. Worth the trip out if you are in Blackpool.

We have visited this restaurant many times when staying in Blackpool and would recommend it to anyone. The food is superb, the staff are friendly and attentive and there is always a great atmosphere. We will certainly be back on our next trip to Blackpool.

This place is one of the most loveliest settings to sit and eat, which we only just stumbled on. I visit Bispham about 3 times a year and walked past it several times. The staff are very warm and welcoming, have a passion for the creation and service of the Menu and are generally very nice people. The ambiance, decor and layout is tasteful. We ate here twice during a short break (16th -18th July) and my son visiting from Dallas; thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The food was made to order, hot and served with proper waitering skills. It is a blessing to Bispham...very nice!

We visited on Friday evening and sat outside as it was a warm day. The waiters are friendly and provided a good level of service. The outside seating is comfortable and no too crowded. Food is good, not exceptional but a good standard. The menu offers a good choice all round and prices are fair.

Absolutely shame that the staff are shocking because the food we had was lovely (apart from the lack of flavour to the sauce on the mussels starter). We not asked once if we happy with our food but everyone else around us were. One member of staff was too busy flirting with the drunk ladies outside, one was too busy eating the chocolate mints and drinking glasses of water by the bucket load(slight exaggeration but he ho) and too busy parking around with the flirter. The young lad took my food away assuming I was finished and was gone before I could say. We were not offered any lemoncello like everyone else. We felt like we not important enough to be there very disappointed

Fantastic restaurant. We are from Hampshire and come to Blackpool for dance competitions. We make sure to visit La Piazza every time we are here. We have been visiting every year for the last 5 years (not through Covid). We have never been disappointed. Food...

Last night was the 5th time in 4 years we have been. We come to Blackpool for dance competitions and a stop at La Piazza is now a permanent addition to our visit. Every time we visit it is very busy and there is a good reason for it: food is phenomenal, service is fantastic and the atmosphere friendly and relaxed. This restaurant has never disappointed. For as long as this place stay open they will see us return year after year. As a small business they have survived Covid. No wonder. Best Italian in the country. 5 stars from me. I would have given 10 but Google only allows 5.

Having not visited this restaurant for about 25yrs, surprised to see it still had the same decor! Nice greeting on arrival and friendly bartender, but the food was simply awful. Baked mushroom starter was tinned mushrooms, tinned tomatoes and a dollop of mozzarella cheese, disgusting!...

Came in for a family meal ( 5 adults ) seated quickly. All food was served quickly and arrived hot. Only 1 small point didn't get told about the specials board which I only noticed when I walked past it en route to toilet.

Although the food was delicious, we really enjoyed the service at La Piazza. Everyone was really friendly and helpful. Also, when the owner asked whether we wanted some games, we were just expecting some colouring. Instead we got a couple of puzzles and both of daughters were overjoyed to solve theirs!

Came as a couple and had a lovely experience and delicious food. Family group of 10 the following evening with 4 children under 10. Excellent food for all and little puzzles for the children whilst the adults finished their meals. Fantastic.

Portion size was a little on the small size. I know it takes 9 minutes to cook pasta “al-dente” but this came out within 5. Both the spag- Bol and the carbonara. The spag-Bol could use a little oomph. And the carbonara could be microwaved...

Very disappointing, I ordered the beef stroganoff and to be fair the sauce was lovely but they had not used fillet, it was more like topside or a silver salmon. When I approached the guy who served us, he said he would check with the chef. He then came back and told me the chef said it was fillet and he believed the chef. It was 100% not fillet and I know this through 15 years experience in the meat industry. They guy did not want to know. I don’t mind paying the money for what is says on the menu but when they are using a cut of meat that is at least a 1/4 of a fillet price then that’s just a way to make more profit out of the customer. I have never made a review in my life but it was the way they handled it and the fact it’s just wrong

We just got back from another lovely week in Blackpool and visited La Piazza II for another great evening out. Fantastic service and delicious food with excellent sized portions and piping hot meals. A wonderful place to dine and highly recommended

Garlic bread too thick Waiter spending too much time talking to each other behind the bar, I tried several times to catch the waiters eye but ended up having to call one over because they were talking... Calzone over cooked...bread too tough to cut through..... Over-all quite poor..... Used to come here years ago when Manny was a waiter.....all you have now is kids who aren't bothered....attitudes, service and food back in the day was great...

This was our second visit. The staff are just fantastic. The food is wonderful and reasonably priced. The short trip to Bispham is well worth it. We plan to go back the next time we visit Blackpool. Keep up the good work.

Great Italian eatery! Maintained its standard over the years and food is still very good. The staff are fantastic, nothing is too much trouble. Whoever does the staff training is a master/mistress at their job. They are polite, attentive without being overbearing and smile constantly...
